raspberrylicious
Is the PS3 version a port or a sequel to the PSP game? If it is a sequel, do I need a knowledge of the PSP version's storyline to fully understand or appreciate Mermaid's Tears? Aeliana
Good question, I'm not sure... Never played the PSP ver. and aren't aware of a connection between the two games. Shuffle?
Satoshi42
I've only played the PS3 version, but according to the official site and Wikipedia (L@ve once - Wikipedia), it's a port of the PSP version, plus a new storyline for Michiru (Maid@Meets@Cat@Website). Looks like she's just a supporting character in the PSP version. The PS3 version also has some epilogue scenes that weren't in the PSP version. Otherwise, the story is the same in both. So you might as well grab the PS3 version for the 'full experience' .
Shuffle
The PS3 version is a port of the PSP version but adds a bunch of stuff like the Motion Portrait technology(though Maid Meets Cat definitely gave them a very low budget since it's not as good as the Motion Portrait technology used in like Trinity Universe, Neptunia, and White Album. However, the opening and closing songs are different.
raspberrylicious
Thanks for the quick replies! No reason to get the PSP game, then!
