Introduction:

Welcome to the PS4 community! Knack is a 3D platformer reminiscent of the Ratchet and Clank games. You may be thinking kiddie game, but the game difficulty ramps up significantly on the Hard and Very Hard modes, which makes earning the platinum trophy no easy feat. It also requires multiple playthroughs and a fair bit of luck finding rare crystals to unlock upgraded Knacks. If you’re not the lucky type, then fear not. There's a farming method that you can use to get the required crystals. All in all, Knack is a fun game to play and a great addition to your PS4 collection.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete the game on Hard difficulty

Start a new game using Basic Knack. You'll want to select Hard difficulty if you're an experienced gamer and want to minimize your number of playthroughs, since Very Hard will only unlock after completing the game on Hard first. During this step, enjoy the game and get a feel for the different levels. If you want to get the King of Adventure trophy for discovering all chests, then follow the chest collections guide given below or wait until Step 2. Don't worry about collecting all of the gadgets and crystals on your first playthrough. There are not enough secret chests in a single game to collect them all. By the end of this step, you should have most of the gadgets and a fair amount of crystals. Completing the game also unlocks Chapter Select, Time Challenges, Coliseum Challenges, and Very Hard mode if you started the game on Hard.

By the end of Step 1 you should have the following trophies:

(B) Chieftain Badge

(B) Gundahar Badge

(B) Katrina Badge

(B)(H) Guardian Badge

(B) Fast Puncher (Optional)

(B) Barrage

(B) Big Throw

(B) Goblin Hunter

(B) Robot Hunter

(B) Seeker

(B) Parts Collector

(B) Knack Beginner

(S) Knack Challenger (if played on Hard)

(B) Doctor's Invention

(B) Crystal Relic Collector

Step 2: Continue your game on Hard difficulty (optional: Farm rare crystals to unlock Diamond Knack)

Once you complete the game you'll have the option to continue from Chapter 1 keeping all of your collected gadgets and crystals from your first playthrough. If you start a new game using a different Knack or change the difficulty level, then you must start from scratch all over again. Gadget and crystal collections will not carry over to your new game. During this step choose "Continue" to start the game from Chapter 1 again. This will allow you to complete every gadget and to add to your growing crystal collection. You will also want to open every secret chest room using the guide below if you haven't done that already from the previous step. This needs to be done on a single playthrough, and will get you the King of Adventure trophy. I would also recommend that you unlock Diamond Knack in this step, since he'll make Step 3 much, much easier. See below for how to unlock him.

Crystal Collections:

Crystals are found in secret treasure chests throughout the game. They are used to unlock different Knacks that have upgraded stats (Attack, Defense, Sunstone). You'll need to collect a given amount of each crystal type to unlock all of the upgraded Knacks. For example, you need to find 10 diamonds to unlock Diamond Knack (all stats maxed out). Once you've completed all gadgets, only crystals appear in secret chests. The chance of getting a certain type of crystal is based on how rare it is on a scale from 1 to 5 with 1 being the most common crystal type and 5 the rarest (1=Ruby, 2=Aqua, 3=Amethyst, 4=Sunstone, 5=Emerald, 5=Diamond). You will find lots and lots of ruby, aqua, amethyst and sunstone crystals during normal gameplay. They will continue to appear in chests even after you've collected enough of them to unlock a specific Knack. Emeralds and diamonds on the other hand are very rare. If you see one don't hesitate to hit :cross: and select it. This is where luck plays into the game. You may be lucky enough to find 10 diamonds with no problem. Most players find none or just a few in each playthrough. I found 0 in my first playthrough, 1 in my second and 2 in my third, all on Hard difficulty.

There are currently 2 options for finding rare crystals:

1) Keep playing the game normally and hope to find what you need.

2) Farm the crystals using the Crystal Farming Method described below.

Option 1: This requires a lot of luck and maybe a lot of playthroughs, however, the dependency on luck may change as more and more of your PS4 friends start playing Knack because of the game's "sharing" feature. This is how sharing gadgets and crystals is supposed to work: Each of you plays your own separate game on your own PS4 console, opening up chests and getting rewards. If one of your friends opens a chest that you've already opened, they will be presented with a list showing what they've found and what you’ve found in that chest. Then, they have the option to keep their reward or choose the same reward as you.

A chest's friends list is ordered by your friends names, what they found, and the time they found it. This would seem to make finding crystals an easy task, especially if your friends already found all of the rare crystals. However, in practice, the system does not currently work very well. A group of us playing Knack and talking to each other, using the PS4 Party feature, did not get the same reward from the same chest as our friend who was only a Chapter or two ahead of us. Sometimes our friends wouldn't even show up in the list, and often the times didn’t show up correctly. None of us were ever able to get a diamond using this method. Hopefully, this will be fixed with a patch or someone smarter than me can figure out how the system actually works.

Option 2: This requires farming crystals. Items in chests are generated randomly so what you receive from a particular chest will change with each playthrough and once you select a reward from a chest using :cross:, that chest stays open for the rest of that playthrough (autosaved). After completing the game 3x on Hard and only finding 3 diamonds, I found a way to farm them. When presented with an unwanted crystal (say it's your 50th ruby) do not press :cross:, instead hold down the :ps: PS Home button to close the application. Next, restart the game and the chest you previously opened will be closed again giving you a second chance to find a randomly generated crystal, maybe even the rare diamond. Once you find the crystal you're looking for, select it with :cross: and move on to the next chest. The problem with restarting the game this way is that you will be placed back at the beginning of the chapter after every restart, it's best to find chests that are near to the beginning of a chapter or only have easy enemies to defeat to get to it.

This method still takes time and a little bit of luck. You may find the crystal you want on the 1st restart or the 50th. In either case, share your joy or frustration with your new PS4 friends in Party mode to help the time go by faster (thanks AlexWolfe4, BDB1324, Sotanji and wannagethigher).

IMPORTANT - Manually save your game to online storage periodically in case something goes wrong. PS4 Menu (Settings) > [Application Saved Data Management] > [saved Data in System Storage].

By the end of Step 2 you should have the following trophies:

(B) Fast Puncher (if you didn't get it in Step 1)

(B) Relic Passion

(B) Combo Beginner

(S) Combo Professional

(B) Professional Intruder

(S) King of Adventure

(S) Doctorate

(B) New Power

(S)(H) Crystal Relic Master

(B) Hoarder

Step 3: Complete the game on Very Hard (using Diamond Knack)

At this point you should have unlocked Diamond Knack and found all of the gadget parts, crystals and secret rooms. You're all set to start a new game on the Very Hard difficulty and complete the game one final time. All of your crystals and gadgets will be gone since you're starting a new game.

On Very Hard all enemies can and will instantly kill you if you're not careful, especially when you shrink/change into Little Knack. All arrows, boomerangs, rockets, and bombs fly at you faster. Platforms and lasers move faster. Most of the walkways in Viktor's ship are gone. Bosses will make you want to throw your controller across the room. You will die over and over again. This is not a kid’s game. If you get too frustrated with this step, save your game and complete the trophies in Step 4. Afterwards, come back to your Very Hard game and pick up where you left off.

*** Diamond Knack to the rescue! ***

Diamond Knack will allow you to aggressively move through the chapters and take on boss fights with relative ease. After all, his health bar extends halfway across the screen. :) He hits hard and has powerful sunstone attacks. If you don't have Diamond Knack at this point, farm crystals until you do or attempt Very Hard playthrough with a different Knack character. I used Sunstone Knack since I didn't know how to farm crystals yet. I wish I had.

By the end of Step 3, you should have the following trophies:

(G)(H) Knack Master

Step 4: Complete all of the challenges with 5 star rankings

You must get a 5 star ranking on all time and coliseum challenge modes to get the Platinum. If you have Diamond Knack, that shouldn’t be a problem for you. If you don't, it's still possible to get 5 stars with other Knack characters, including Basic Knack. I used Sunstone Knack (max sunstone) for the time related challenges and Dark Knack (max defense) for the coliseum challenges.

Rankings in time trials are based on time, number of enemies you killed with sunstone attacks and whether or not you took damage. There are 13 time challenges, one for each Chapter of the game.

Rankings in coliseum challenges are based on how far you made it through the challenge. There are 10 levels for each of the 3 coliseum challenges. The enemies in each level get progressively harder as you go along.

By the end of Step 4, you should have the following trophies:

(B)(H) Relic Runner

(G)(H) Speed King

(B)(H) Gladiator

(G)(H) King of Battle

Step 5: Clean Up using Chapter Select

By this step, you should have most of the hard trophies out of the way. You can use Chapter Select on Easy difficulty to get the remaining upgraded Knack, consecutive hits and other trophies that didn’t come through normal game play.

By the end of Step 5 you should have the following trophies:

(S) Forced Breakthrough

(B) Quick Work

(B) Ruby Medal

(B) Aqua Medal

(B) Emerald Medal

(B) Sunstone Medal

(B) Amethyst Medal

(B) Diamond Medal

(S) Dynamic Play

(S) Stealth Fighter

(S) Total Victory

(G)(H) Perfect Action

That's it, you're now the proud owner of a shiny new Platinum!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/05.jpg Fast Puncher (B)

Landed 100 hits using the Dash Attack

This trophy will unlock during normal progression. To execute a Dash Attack, quickly move the :rs: to dash in the direction of the enemy and select the attack button (:square:). Just keep playing and you will get it late in your first playthrough or early on in your second. A favourite move of mine is to jump (:cross:) or double jump (:cross:+:cross:) then dash attack (:rs:+:square:) into the enemies from above, especially on those annoying insects.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/06.jpg Relic Passion (B)

Acquired a total of over 100,000 relics

This trophy will unlock during normal progression, if not on your first playthrough then definitely on your second. There's no need to worry about collecting relics, they swarm to you as you pass by them in the later chapters.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/07.jpg Barrage (B)

Defeated 8 or more enemies with a single Super Move

This is almost impossible to miss in Chapter 10-2 Message from the Past. At some point in the chapter, you will be tasked to open a door by activating an out of the way lever. You will leave the group behind and follow a winding path that leads to an enclosed circular area. You must kill the 8 closely grouped enemies to reach the lever. Use the sunstone ground attack (:circle:+:circle:) to easily get this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/08.jpg Big Throw (B)

Defeated 5 gunships by throwing cars

You will get this trophy naturally by just playing the game. There are 8 gunships in Chapter 7-4 with cars conveniently placed near them. To throw a car, stand next to it and pick it up using :square: then move the :ls: in the direction of the gunship and press :square: again to throw it. The gunships can take 2 hits from cars before crashing. If you still don't have the trophy after your first playthrough, use Chapter Select on Easy and farm the gunships near the beginning of Chapter 7-4.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/09.jpg Goblin Hunter (B)

Defeated 100 goblins

You will defeat 100 goblins and unlock this trophy without even trying in your first playthrough.

Defeated 100 robots

You will defeat 100 robots and unlock this trophy without even trying in your first playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/11.jpg Combo Beginner (B)

Achieved 20 consecutive hits with the Combo Meter equipped

Equip the Combo Meter if it isn’t already. A counter will appear in the lower right-hand corner of the screen that shows you how many hits in a row you’ve landed. You should be able to get 20 consecutive hits without trying too hard, just don't get distracted by the counter in the corner. Alternately, you could use Chapter Select on Easy difficulty and kill every enemy in Chapter 4-2. Save your sunstone power for the groups of enemies that you're forced to fight, like the illuminated area where the gate closes behind you and the final group of enemies before the level ends.

Achieved 50 consecutive hits with the Combo Meter equipped

Equip the Combo Meter if it isn't already. A counter will appear in the lower right hand corner of the screen that shows you how many hits in a row you've landed. Ignore the counter and play as you normally would. In no time, you'll have 50 consecutive hits without even knowing it. The problem is that most players, including myself, keep glancing at the meter and choke around the 40 to 45 mark. Alternately, you could use Chapter Select on Easy difficulty and kill every enemy in Chapter 4-2. Save your sunstone power for the groups of enemies that you’re forced to fight, like the illuminated area where the gate closes behind you, and the final group of enemies before the level ends.

Use Chapter Select on Easy difficulty and beat Chapter 4-2 without being detected by the security robots. Only the security robots matter for this trophy. You can fight the other enemies normally, unless they're right next to a security robot and have a chance to alert it. Save your sunstone power for the groups of enemies that you're forced to fight, like the illuminated area where the gate closes behind you and the final group of enemies before the level ends.

Select your best Knack character (Diamond if you have him unlocked) and defeat enemies that prevent you from moving to the next area and run past those that don’t need to be killed. For example, run past the enemies in the last area before each gun and mash :square: as fast as you can.

Discovered all of the treasure chests

You need to find all of the secret treasure chests located throughout the game in a single playthrough. There are 68 chests in the game. If you follow the Treasure Chest Collections guide below, this trophy should unlock after opening the last chest in Chapter 13-3 The Cliff Path. Completing the Secret Detector Gadget will help considerably in finding secret rooms, however, there are rooms off the beaten path that will not set off the detector unless you get closer to them. There are also rooms close to the end of a level that, if you're not aware of them, will be missable because your action starts the cut scene before you can reach the chest. If this does happen to you, you can quit the application and restart the chapter from the beginning (credit to AlexWolfe4 for sacrificing a diamond farming opportunity to test out the single playthrough theory).

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/26.jpg Doctorate (S)

Acquired all of the Gadgets

There are 8 Gadgets that you can construct to help out Knack in his adventure. You need to construct all 8 to unlock this trophy. At least one is required to earn the trophies Combo Beginner and Combo Professional. Others, like the battery Gadgets, increase the effectiveness of his sunstone attacks. The following list describes all 8 gadgets and the number of parts you need to collect from secret chests to construct each one:

Relic Detector - Indicates when Knack is near relics

3 parts needed to construct

Secret Detector - Indicates when Knack is near a secret room

7 parts needed to construct

Transmuter - When help is low, breaking sunstones will release relics

6 parts needed to construct

Sunstone Battery - Knack can accumulate an additional super move worth of energy

3 parts needed to construct

Harvester - Knack can collect sunstones from defeated enemies

4 parts needed to construct

Time Dilator - Time slows down when Knack hits enemies without taking damage himself

5 parts needed to construct

Double Battery - Knack can accumulate twice as much sunstone energy and unleash more powerful super moves

5 parts needed to construct

Combo Meter - Knack can boost his attack strength by hitting enemies 8 times in succession without taking damage himself

7 parts needed to construct

There are 40 Total Gadget Parts in total that must be collected

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/27.jpg Crystal Relic Collector (B)

Acquired a Crystal Relic

Crystal Relics can be found in secret chests located throughout the game. You will get this trophy through normal progression after finding your first crystal relic. Most of the chests in your first playthrough will contain gadget parts so you will probably get this later in the game. For a list of all secret chest locations, see the King of Adventure trophy for a collection guide.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/28.jpg New Power (B)

Unlocked an upgraded Knack

This trophy will unlock once you find enough secret chest crystals to unlock your first upgraded Knack. See Crystal Relic Master for the required number of crystals for each Knack.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/30.jpg Hoarder (B)

Completed a non-boss chapter without using any Super Moves

This trophy is not as difficult as it sounds, you just need to resist the temptation to use your sunstone attacks ( :circle:+:circle:, :circle:+:square:, :circle:+:triangle:). If you didn't get this trophy during any of your normal playthroughs, use Chapter Select on Easy difficulty. Pick a short level or one with easy enemies like Chapter 2-1.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/31.jpg Dynamic Play (S)

Completed a chapter only using Super Moves on enemies and without dying once

Use Chapter Select on Easy difficulty. Select chapter 8-3 Heavy Machinery since there are few barriers blocking your way to the end of the level. Run past all enemies collecting sunstone power as you go. By the time you need to fight an enemy, you should have 3 full rings of energy. Use the sunstone power of your choice on the 3 sets of enemies that will emerge from the walls. You will float up on a fan afterwards. Collect more sunstones behind a hidden wall to bring your total to 1 ring again and use it to finish the last boomerang enemy. This is a quick and relatively painless method to unlock the trophy. The hardest part is mentally forcing yourself not to use the :square: attack on enemies. Credit to BDB1324 for suggesting this level.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/32.jpg Stealth Fighter (S)

Defeated 20 enemies as Stealth Knack and completed the chapter

You will be able to use Stealth Knack in two different Chapters, 4-3 Stealth Knack and 12-1 Inside the Airship. Use him to defeat 20 enemies to unlock this trophy. There are lots of enemies for Stealth Knack to choose from in both Chapters. The counter will not reset if you die so you can farm only one area if you like.

Defeated a boss without taking damage

There are 4 bosses in the game on Chapters 3-5, 7-5, 11-5 and 13-5. Use Chapter Select and Easy difficulty to get this trophy. Use Diamond Knack and you won't have much of a problem getting this trophy. I found Kristina 11-5 and the Chieftain 3-5 to be the easiest bosses to defeat.

Unlocked all upgraded Knack characters

You need to unlock all 6 upgraded Knack characters to get this trophy. Each upgraded Knack will unlock after finding a set amount of crystals as show in the table below. Crystals can be found in secret chests throughout the game. To unlock all of the characters you will need to find 90 of them. There are only 68 secret chests in the game so this will take more than one playthrough, it could potentially take a lot more if you don't use one of the options described in the Roadmap above to speed up the process. Vampire Knack will probably be your first unlocked Knack and Diamond Knack your last.

Vampire Knack - Stronger attacks but at a cost to his health, which is always decreasing

15 ruby crystals needed to unlock (Rarity 1)

Brittle Knack - Increase strength of punch to max

10 aqua crystals needed to unlock (Rarity 2)

Dark Knack - Defensive strength max

20 amethyst crystals needed to unlock (Rarity 3)

Sunstone Knack - Sunstone power to the max

20 sunstone crystals needed to unlock (Rarity 4)

Massive Knack - Increase strength of all physical attacks

15 emerald crystals needed to unlock (Rarity 5)

Diamond Knack - Transform ultimate form (all max stats)

10 diamond crystals needed to unlock (Rarity 5)

There are 90 Crystals in total that must be collected

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1930/35.jpg Knack Master (G)(H)

Completed all chapters on Very Hard difficulty

This will probably be the last trophy you earn and the most difficult. Very Hard does not unlock until you complete the game on Hard. You need to start a new game on Very Hard difficulty and complete all 13 Chapters one last time. Since this is a new game, you will start your gadget and crystal collections with nothing in them. Concentrate on constructing the important gadgets like combo meter, time dilator and the batteries as they will help a great deal as you progress through this playthrough. Another life saver is selecting Diamond Knack as your upgraded character since he has max stats and can take out the punishment dished out by the faster and deadlier enemies. You should know the levels by now so be aggressive in taking down the enemies. Try to kill them before they have a chance to attack or as they are falling into the area. There will definitely be difficult areas that you’ll need to find the best attack pattern in order to move on to the next area. Just keep at it and soon enough you'll be fighting the final bosses and getting your much deserved gold trophy.

Final Boss Tip 1:

Stock up on sunstone power before the final boss. Kill all of the enemies in the area after defeating The Final Guardian and before The Giant Orb. Then, jump off the cliff. You'll start at the beginning of this area again and the enemies you've just killed will have respawned. Rinse and repeat until all of your sunstone rings are full.

Final Boss Tip 2:

If you've stocked up on enough sunstone power, you can use the elemental storm :circle:+:square: to run straight up to the final boss to retrieve your relic pile. I like to dodge the first couple of green laser attacks, and start the storm after passing the black ring on the ground. Once you are his size again, use any sunstone power to knock him back. He'll surround himself with a blue force field, now double jump (:cross:+:cross:) and dash (:rs:) your way around him in a circle until he stops throwing things at you. Don't dash off the edge! Rinse and repeat for the second round. Don't bother killing the titans or avoiding their purple ground attack since they can't touch you while you're in the storm.

Completed a Time Attack stage

Time Attack challenges are not unlocked until after you complete the game for the first time. You will get this trophy after completing your first time attack challenge. You do not need to get a 5 star rank, just finish the stage. See Speed King if you need help in completing a particular stage.

Achieved five-star ranks in all Time Attack stages

There are 13 time attacks that you need to get a 5-star ranking on, one for each Chapter of the game. The challenges will become available once you complete the game for the first time. You can complete them using Basic Knack or any upgraded Knack character that you've unlocked by finding crystals. Rankings are based on the time it took you to complete the stage, how many enemies you killed, and whether or not you completed the stage without taking damage. I used Sunstone Knack to finish each stage since he automatically gathers sunstones without touching them and has more powerful sunstone attacks. I increased my score by executing sunstone attacks when the greatest number of enemies were surrounding me or at the most critical pinch points in the stage. For example on Chapter 13, I saved sunstone power for the enemies at the very end of the stage. I was already entering the end marker before they knew what hit them. A powerful alternative to Sunstone Knack is of course Diamond Knack, if you have him unlocked before you attempt these challenges, you should have no problems 5-starring every stage.

Completed a Coliseum Attack stage

Coliseum Attack challenges are not unlocked until after you complete the game for the first time. You will get this trophy after completing your first coliseum attack challenge. You do not need to get a 5 star rank, just finish the stage. Each stage is made up of 10 levels with increasingly more difficult enemies. See King of Battle if you need help in completing a particular stage.

Achieved five-star ranks in all Coliseum Attack stages

There are 3 coliseum Attacks that you need to get a 5-star ranking on, each of them having 10 levels each. The enemies get progressively harder as you advance to the next levels. Rankings are based on how far you’ve made it through the stage. I always received 5-star ranks as long as I defeated the enemies in all 10 levels. I used Dark Knack since he has a high defense rating and was able to withstand a hit or two without dying. After increasing in size from Little to Big Knack, he was able to withstand even more hits. Of course if you have him unlocked, Diamond Knack is the obvious choice for these challenges. His attack power is maxed out and his health bar extends more than halfway across the screen. Regardless of which Knack you choose, be aggressive in your attacks. The faster you take enemies out the better. Also, concentrate on the most dangerous enemies first. Learn their patterns and how to effectively kill them. Double jump (:cross:+:cross:) and dash into enemies (:rs:+:square:) when you have nowhere else to go but up. Finally, save a ring of sunstone power to destroy the powerful enemies in level 10.

Completed a stage without taking any damage on Hard difficulty or above

This trophy is less difficult than it sounds, especially after you've learned the ins and outs of the game by played on Hard multiple times. I chose to get the trophy on 1-2 Viktor's Challenge. Other players have suggested Chapter 4-2 because you can stealth kill your way through most of it and Chapter 8-3 Heavy Machinery since you can run by most of the enemies and traps. Just select the Chapter you feel most comfortable with and keep at it until your trophy unlocks. Use sunstone powers liberally on difficult enemies or to get through tough situations.

Good Guide, i can attest to 4-2 Being extremely easy for perfect action since there is plenty of sun stone to gather enough for the 2 big groups of enemies you will encounter.

Its also highly highly recommended As Mr.GP said do your very hard play through with Daimond Knack as it was easier then hard mode and i rushed through it maybe with 5 hours on the clock

Some of us braved Very Hard without him, only shaking off the severe punishment by beating the insanely difficult final bosses.
Is it really that difficult? Also I'm curious who "some of us" is. Co-op is a good way to make most fights much easier, btw. Edited by mjemirzian

I'm currently on my 2nd Hard Mode playthrough, it actually seems SOOOO much easier after getting all the gadgets on my first run. I blazed to chapter 7 in barely like 3 hours, and managed to get 4/10 Diamond's already (Didn't even do the reload trick yet)

Lucky you! Did you get any of those diamonds by selecting one of your friends rewards instead of what you were offered? It would be good to know for the guide, since finding rare crystals would then become easier as more people started playing Knack.

So your'e on a 6 to 7 hour game competion run? Sounds fast. Though, I was already thinking about reducing the minimum time, now that there are collection guides and Diamond Knack. Let me know what you finally clock in at on for your 2nd Hard run and Very Hard run.

I finished getting 10/10 diamonds. I had one friend that had platted the game already and another that had found several diamonds.

All 10 of mine were my own. I could get emeralds from friends but no diamonds. I'm fairly certain you have to find them on your own.

I'm not trying to scare anyone away from getting the plat. Maybe "insane" is too harsh of a word but it is VERY HARD to complete without Diamond Knack.

Of the 8 people that have this trophy so far, some of us, the top 3 (myself, Arkafazin, and Rengarious), completed it without Diamond Knack.
