This ‘Dedicated To The Cause’ Contracts Guide goes in co-ordination with the Killzone Mercenary Trophy Guide and Roadmap.

When you complete each contract for the first time you'll unlock three variants for it: Covert, Demolition and Precision contracts. These contracts feature specific objectives aimed towards stealth, destruction and accuracy, which must be completed in one go. None of these offer anything too difficult, however a few of the criteria may cause issues so this guide should help with any issues regarding these contracts.

The trophies that require the completion of special contracts are:

1.0: PRECISION, COVERT, DEMOLITION CONTRACTS

1.1: Justice For All

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
LS57 SMG

  • Finish the mission in 20 minutes

  • Headshot the tank gunner

  • Headshot 25 enemies with LS57 SMG

  • Rescue the ISA hostages

Walkthrough/Tips:
Aim for the head with your LS57 and move quickly. 20 minutes is more than enough time you need to finish this contract. There are a total of five prisoners throughout the contract you must rescue: 2 are in the Security Centre, in rooms on either side (1 requires you to shoot a window to reach him). Once you rappel down from the Security Centre, turn left and go through the door to the Courtroom. There is 1 hostage in this area, being interrogated by a Helghast officer, you can reach him either by hacking the door or going through the blown-out window in the adjoining room. Lastly there are 2 hostages in the Detention Cells, these are accessed by pressing a button on the catwalk directly above the door to the Courtroom where Blackjack's Armoury is located. Pressing this button will open a door on the opposite side of the room where the hostages are located.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
StA-7 SMG/VC-11 Gas Grenade

  • Destroy all security cameras

  • Kill 50 enemies with StA-7 SMG

  • Smoke out the security centre captain with a gas grenade

  • Stealth from the rappel until the Admiral is rescued

Walkthrough/Tips:
Not much to be said as this contract is pretty straight forward. Use the Ghost VAN-Guard and infiltrator armor to aid you in stealth. There are 5 cameras in the security center area, one in the room you rappel down into, one in the courtroom and one in the detention cells.

In order to smoke out the captain with the gas grenade, you need to first open the vents with the valve located in the back area of the building that is destroyed. Climb a pipe to find the valve here - be cautious though as turning the valve spawns three Helghasts and the valve will make noise if you keep turning it, thus giving away your position.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
Sky Fury

  • Destroy 3 munitions supply crates

  • Brutal Melee 20 enemies

  • Achieve a Triple Kill

  • Destroy the tank with the Sky Fury

Walkthrough/Tips:
Munition Supply Crates are marked on your map as light blue exploding dynamite pack. The first one is in the central security area, the second is in the central detention cells area, and the final one is in the room next to the Hig officer who is interrogation an ISA soldier. The Triple Kill is easiest against the first drop ship, just use explosives to blow it up.

1.2: Code of Engagement

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
Mantys Engine/M82 Assault Rifle

  • Achieve an explosive barrel kill from a zipline

  • Finish the mission in 15 minutes

  • Kill 10 enemies with Mantys Engine

  • Headshot 30 enemies with M82 rifle

Walkthrough/Tips:
Simple and straightforward. To make the zip-line kill easier aim for the explosive red barrel on your way down.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
M33 Sniper Rifle

  • Stealth through the wing

  • Headshot 5 snipers with M33 sniper rifle

  • Backstab 10 enemies

  • Stealth to the zipline

Walkthrough/Tips:
Another simple and straightforward contract. Just make sure you heatshot all of the snipers because they are not abundant. There are four snipers in the first open area (you will be tempted to melee kill the first one you see, don't, just snipe him from close range). Two more can be found in the zip-line area if you "go loud" and one or two more snipers will appear the last room but again only if you go loud.

If you're having difficulty being stealthily through the wing, try using the Mantys Engine to kill all the enemies stealthily.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
None

  • Destroy all the generators

  • Avoid scientist deaths

  • Achieve 40 explosive kills

  • Destroy all 8 Petrusite canisters in the server room

Walkthrough/Tips:
The generators are marked on your map. The first generator is located in a room above the area where you kill the first enemy. Make sure you destroy it before moving on to the open area with the snipers. The next two generators are located in the first big open area where you fight the snipers. The last is on the area where the first Helghast Officer is.

All eight canisters are in the server room. Destroy them before you hack the terminal or during the ensuing fight, you will not have time to destroy them all after you've cleared the room. Two are ground level on opposite sides of the room, the next four are above each of the the two ground canisters and the final two are in the center of the room. These last 2 can only be seen from the small areas the two ground canisters were in.

For explosive kills use the VC39 Accelerator Rifle as this will make getting the kills incredibly easy. Just make sure not to use it much in the Server Room as the two scientists are in this room.

1.3: Lightning Strike

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
StA-18 Pistol/M194 Frag Grenade

  • Headshot 25 enemies with StA-18 pistol

  • Finish the mission in 20 minutes

  • Achieve a kill with a D-Charge explosion

  • Kill a mounted gunner with a frag grenade

Walkthrough/Tips:
Obviously only use the StA-18 pistol until you achieve 25 headshots with it. Once you get to the first open area where the two snipers are set a D-Charge in the center area and wait for an enemy to walk by it then detonate it. Alternatively, you can get a D-Charge kill in the last area if you don't place the charge until the Helghast try to destroy the transformer. When the drop ship comes in to drop off some enemies, place the charge and blow it.

There are two turrets in the area where you have to hack two dishes. If you sneak in through the Barracks and take the elevator up, you can simply cook a Frag Grenade and throw it at either mounted gunner.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
StA-18SE Pistol

  • Kill 20 enemies with StA-18SE pistol

  • Backstab 10 enemies

  • Destroy 10 security cameras

  • Stealth to the Generator Room

Walkthrough/Tips:
Backstab every enemy you come across until you meet the criteria, then start with StA-18SE. Moving stealthily to the Generator Room isn't difficult, just make sure you take out both snipers quickly as they can see each other.

For the cameras you'll find 3 in the first area with the snipers, 3 in the Generator Room, 2 on the catwalk above the Generator Room and 1 in each of the rooms where you must hack the targeting dishes.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
None

  • Destroy 3 Petrusite crates

  • Use a VAN-Guard to destroy 8 enemy drones

  • Achieve a Multi Kill

  • Destroy a dropship

Walkthrough/Tips:
The Petrusite crates are marked on your map as light blue exploding dynamite packs. The first one is in the center of the open area with the two snipers, the second one is in the generator room and the last one is in the outdoor area where you hack the two targeting dishes.

Use the Porcupine to shoot down the drones and dropship. The multi-kill is easily obtained in the barracks. After you clear the initial enemies, four enemies will come down the elevator. Throw a grenade in the elevator just as the door opens and multi-kill achieved.

1.4: Diplomatic Incident

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
M80 Rocket Launcher

  • Finish the mission in 15 minutes

  • Get to the elevator with Boris

  • Kill 1 additional enemy by exploding a flamethrower tank

  • Destroy the dropship with the M80

Walkthrough/Tips:
Time is a factor here so go as quickly as you can. Shoot the tank on the flamethrower guys to to make them explode, the splash damage has a pretty large radius so you don’t need a second enemy to be right up on him.

The dropship arrives at the beginning of the last section and it takes two shots from the M80 to bring it down. Make sure you quickly kill the RPG enemies so Boris survives, he can't take too much damage during the last section.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
Ghost/StA-7 SMG

  • Achieve 15 Ghost Generator kills

  • Kill 30 enemies with StA-7 SMG

  • Stealth into the ambassador's office

  • Get into the lobby avoiding the main entrance

Walkthrough/Tips:
At the start, head to the far side of the courtyard to find a door you can hack open; this will be your entrance the lobby. Once inside take out enemies while Ghosting and head through stealthily. Once you reach the area with the Helghast burning everything, you can either skip it altogether with Ghost or take them out one by one to get the kill count up. After you're through to Justus just finish getting the required kills.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
VC-G11 Gas Grenade/VC39 Accelerator Rifle

  • Kill 10 enemies with gas grenades

  • Kill 30 enemies with VC39 Accelerator Rifle

  • Achieve 5 Mercy kills

  • Injure 10 enemies

Walkthrough/Tips:
Use the Arc Missile to injure enemies and then melee them to finish them off with mercy. Once you've hit your injure/mercy quota use the VC39 and gas grenades until you have finished all four requirements. Now finish out the contract anyway you please.

Alternatively you can simply use the gas grenades to injure enemies and the M2 for mercy kills. Either method works sufficiently.

1.5: The Package

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
StA-11 SMG

  • Avoid civilian deaths

  • Headshot 25 enemies with StA-11 SMG

  • Extract within 3 minutes of leaving the bar

  • Achieve a kill while on a zipline

Walkthrough/Tips:
Simple contract requirements that are easier said than done. Getting headshots with the StA-11 on the helmet wearing Helghast cops takes patience. And there is only one location in the level where you can get the zipline kill, its near the beginning of the level just after you finish your first firefight. You will come to an area where you can choose to go right and use the zipline or go left and sneak into the bunker. Obviously, take the right route and hug the wall until you get to the zipline. A sniper will be to your right so have the Porcupine equipped and ready to fire. Once you jump on the zipline turn the camera to the right a bit and fire a porcupine missile at the sniper to kill him.

Avoiding civilian deaths is simple and 3 minutes is more than enough time to extract if you run from the time you leave the bar to the second zipline. You have time to quickly kill the enemies you encounter on your way. Once you zipline down, use your Porcupine to aid you in quickly eliminating the enemies rushing you. There is a Blackjack case in front of you so don't worry about running out of ammo, grenades or VAN-Guards. Just spam everything you have until you are extracted.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
Vultur

  • Stealth through the Market

  • Backstab 5 soldiers near the elevator entrance

  • Kill 20 enemies with the Vultur active

  • Stealth into the Outpost

Walkthrough/Tips:
Use a silenced weapon and abuse your Vultur. The outpost is near the start and only a few enemies stand between you and it so moving stealthily to it isn't difficult. Once Justus lowers the bridge for you, head up and backstab all five enemies in this area. They’re very easy to take out as they’re all facing other directions. After you take the elevator, pick off the enemies one by one to head through the Market without being noticed.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
VC11 Launcher

  • Kill 4 enemies with VC11

  • Achieve 5 Mercy kills

  • Destroy an enemy Stinger with a frag grenade

  • Destroy all 6 propaganda speakers

Walkthrough/Tips:
Before you start, it’s recommended you place either the M2 Tranquiliser Pistol or the Arc Missile into your loadout for easy mercy kills. Get your mercy kills and VC11 kills whenever you can, it isn’t hard at all. When you reach the location with the elevator and 5 Helghast police, get their attention so that a Stinger will fly in. Kill the cops and then cook a few frags, lobbing them towards the Stinger as it drops off its two passengers. Two frags will be able to destroy it and you should have plenty of time to do so. If need be you can stock up on grenades at the armoury.

For the propaganda speakers, you’ll find 1 where you need to open a door for Justus, 1 where you ride the elevator, 3 in the marketplace and 1 after the barfight.

1.6: Lights Out

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
None

  • Finish the mission in 25 minutes

  • Avoid civilian deaths

  • Destroy the AA Guns on the roof within 5 minutes of each other

  • Shoot out and explode 2 flamethrower tanks

Walkthrough/Tips:
Incredibly simple contract. There's not a great deal to say here other than to ensure you shoot out the flamethrower tanks whenever an opportunity is presented of which there'll be at least five. Work quickly and you'll meet both time criteria without a hassle.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
M133 Proximity Mine/StA-52SE Assault Rifle

  • Plant a charge on one of the coolant pipes without triggering an alarm

  • Achieve 5 proximity mine kills

  • Kill 40 enemies with StA-52SE rifle

  • Destroy the Jammer

Walkthrough/Tips:
Pretty easy contract. Planting a charge isn’t difficult, head down to the left and silently take out the officer before backstabbing the flamethrower Helghast. After you blow the first one, take any opportunity you can to get kills with your proximity mines - having Supply armour helps as you can carry 2 mines. For the Jammer you can find it in the area where the second AA gun is located, on the leftside of the catwalk as you walk into the area.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
VC9 Rocket Launcher

  • Destroy the 3 fuel regulators within 3 minutes of the first

  • Destroy 2 drones with the VC9

  • Destroy all 7 Stingers in the insertion

  • Destroy all 7 propaganda speakers

Walkthrough/Tips:
This can be a little difficult at first. During the insertion, learn where the Stingers spawn and shoot the canisters hanging on the undercarriage directly in front of the two passengers - shooting this will destroy a Stinger almost immediately. Once you learn the spawns and how to destroy them efficiently, it shouldn’t be too difficult.

For the propaganda speakers you'll find 4 in the beginning area - 1 near each coolant pipe location, 1 on the catwalk above and 1 in the control room where the 2 civilians are located. Once you reach the AA guns, you'll find 1 near the first AA gun, 1 in the adjoining room and 1 near the second AA gun.

Once you reach the final location, work fast and make sure you shoot out the fuel regulators as soon as they're visible. Once you start raising the second fuel regulator, pull out your VC9 and shoot down 2 of the incoming drones. Continue to destroy the fuel regulators and finish the mission.

1.7: Hostile Takeover

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
M42 Sniper Rifle

  • Kill 1 enemy by detonating an enemy proximity mine

  • Headshot both of Savic's guards

  • Finish off an Exo with an explosive barrel

  • Make 3 Long Range kills with the M42 sniper rifle

Walkthrough/Tips:
At the start you'll have several opportunities to kill an enemy by shooting a proximity mine so take advantage of this. Once you reach the area with the snipers, snipe them from as far as possible to ensure you get Long Range kills. Once you reach Savic, simply headshot them. When you encounter the Exo, shoot at it with whatever weaponry you want until it catches fire. Once it starts burning, shoot the explosive barrels when the Exo is nearby until it is destroyed.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
M66 SMG

  • Kill 40 enemies with the M66 SMG

  • Rescue the Helghast hostages

  • Stealth the lower roof

  • Get through the interior courtyard without triggering a proximity mine

Walkthrough/Tips:
There's nothing too difficult here. For the lower roof, use Ghost and move through quietly, taking out the snipers as you reach them. Recharge your Ghost at Blackjack’s armoury before you try get past the last two snipers, otherwise you'll be spotted. Alternatively, you can take out all the enemies but the last two snipers with the M33 sniper rifle, making it considerably easier to bypass (thanks
he1senberg
for this tip).

There are several hostages throughout the mission: 1 at the start underneath the helipad. 1 immediately after the lower roof on a balcony with proximity mines (destroy them first). 2 after the interior courtyard, upstairs near the back wall rigged with proximity mines again. Lastly there are 2 upstairs in the final room before you face the Exo.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
StA-12 Inferno Shotgun/Sky Fury

  • Kill 25 enemies with StA-12 Inferno shotgun

  • Kill 15 enemies with Sky Fury

  • End jamming in 4 minutes after it starts

  • Destroy 25 enemy proximity mines

Walkthrough/Tips:
As soon as the mission starts, take the opportunity to get a few kills with the Sky Fury. Clear out all the proximity mines and move on. Whenever in the open, get some Sky Fury kills, otherwise go for StA-12 kills. Take out all the proximity mines you find and you’ll easily destroy enough. Once the jamming begins, run to the opposite side of the courtyard and you'll find the Jammer around the corner to the right - there's no real hurry here as 4 minutes is plenty of time.

1.8: Blood Money

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
M4 Revolver

  • Clear the landing pad and have a buddy survive

  • Enter the Vault in 20 minutes

  • Interrogate the Admiral

  • Headshot 15 enemies with M4 revolver

Walkthrough/Tips:
The start can be a little tricky so don’t try and get headshots with the M4 here, just ensure a buddy survives. After the starting section, go for headshots. There’s no need to hurry here as you can complete the mission in under 10 minutes, let alone 20. Once you enter the vault and plant the D-Charges, kill all of the Admiral’s reinforcements before interrogating her.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
Ghost

  • Save the scientist in Lab 01

  • Escape the Vault without being detected

  • Stealth through Lab 02

  • Achieve 15 Ghost Generator kills

Walkthrough/Tips:
Use the Ghost Generator liberally to get your kills. In Lab 01, take out the idle guard as you enter first, then quickly kill the guard escorting the scientist before he gets incinerated. For Lab 02 you should be able to move stealthily through pretty easily if you use Ghost, you shouldn't need to kill anyone.

The hard part comes at the end. In order to escape the Vault, you cannot be seen at all. You can kill people, as long as they didn't discover you in the process, their body is hidden and they're killed with silenced weapons. Use the infiltration armour to make things easier. If you plant the left D-Charge second, head up the stairs and crouch behind the barrier directly to your left as you walk off the steps. An ISA soldier will patrol the catwalk directly opposite the barrier. When the soldier turns around and walks towards the vault door, sneak up onto the catwalk and hide behind one of the pillars against the wall and wait for the patrol to walk back past you. Now you should be able to slip straight on out through the vault door.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
StA-G2 Pyro Grenade

  • Burn an enemy in the incinerator in Lab 01

  • Kill a rocket trooper with a Brutal Melee

  • Destroy 3 Intruders

  • Kill 8 enemies with StA-G2 Pyro grenades

Walkthrough/Tips:
Right at the start of the mission, there are two stationary Intruders that you can destroy, though you cannot use the M80 for this as they cannot be locked onto. Progress as normal and try get Pyro kills whenever possible. Once you reach Lab 01, lure a trooper into the incinerator and press the button to burn him. Alternatively you can just shoot the button while an enemy is passing through the incinerator. As you enter Lab 02, another Intruder will be flying out, 2 rockets should destroy it. Once you leave Lab 02 climb up the pole and take the zipline to the other side, then brutal melee the enemy in front of you - he’s a rocket trooper. With him down, head towards the vault to find another Intruder you can destroy.

1.9: Exit Wounds

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
StA-14 Rifle

  • Kill 20 enemies with StA-14 rifle

  • Kill Benoit in 10 minutes

  • Kill 3 mercenaries while they are in flight

  • Do not resupply from the shop

Walkthrough/Tips:
This can be a little tricky due to the restrictions, however with the right loadout it is very doable. Use the StA-14, M80, Frag, Porcupine and Supply armour. You cannot purchase anything from Blackjack’s armoury at all, so what you start with is what you're stuck with. Save your grenades for the heavies and your M80 ammo for Benoit's Intruder. Try and kill the flying mercenaries before the Benoit fight begins, as they’re harder to hit during the boss battle - they're easiest to shoot as they're landing. For the battle itself, you can access the armoury for a checkpoint, thus allowing you to "save" your progress whenever you like, making the battle a lot less painful. Use the fuel rods Justus provides to your advantage and you should be able to beat him relatively fast.

Covert:

Loadout Requirement:
M2 Tranquiliser Pistol/M98 Flash Grenade

  • Interrogate Benoit

  • Finish the mission in 25 minutes

  • Tranquilise and kill 15 enemies

  • Flash and kill 5 enemies

Walkthrough/Tips:
Flash enemies in groups for your 5 kills, then take down enemies one by one with your M2 until you have your 15 kills. Time isn't much of a factor here, so it shouldn’t be hard. For Benoit, just make sure not to down him with an explosive weapon, as this can easily result in you killing you, meaning you can't interrogate him. If this happens, you'll have to restart, as you'll receive a checkpoint as soon as he dies.

Demolition:

Loadout Requirement:
Porcupine/StA-3 LMG

  • Kill 10 enemies with the Porcupine

  • Kill 30 enemies with StA-3 LMG

  • Brutal Melee 4 troops in succession

  • Kill the heavies in 2 minutes

Walkthrough/Tips:
Brutal Melee the first 4 enemies you encounter, then start taking them out with your StA-3 and Porcupine. When you get to the heavies, simply spam them with frags and the M80. Feel free to also grab the VC39 out of Blackjack’s armoury for a quicker kill.

Guys, this is some amazing, off-the-hizzouse good work! This is a fine, punctilious, meticulously detailed guide. Seriously, hats off! Out of the three contracts I'm having most difficulty with precision only due to time limit. So they take a few attempts (I tend to go all out, triggering the alarm, which brings more enemies and thus takes longer to get past an area)

I will be used this as reference. Thanks guys! <3

1.1: Justice For All[/center]

Precision:

Loadout Requirement:
LS57 SMG

  • Finish the mission in 20 minutes

  • Headshot the tank gunner

  • Headshot 25 enemies with
    LS57 SMG

  • Rescue the ISA hostages

Walkthrough/Tips:
Aim for the head with your
StA-7
and move quickly. 20 minutes is more than enough time you need to finish this contract. There are two prisoners in the security center, one is in the courtroom, and the final two are in the actual detention cells. The cells can be reached by opening the cells by pressing the button next to Blackjack’s armoury, whereas the courtroom can be reached through the door below the aforementioned armoury.

Also I think some kind of video or pictures or a more detailed description of where the hostages are would be helpful. I was just doing this as my first extra contract yesterday and found myself failing constantly upon entering the room with Kratek and Grey because I only had 4/5 hostages. I couldn't find the 5th one and gave up for a bit. Coming to this now... Forgive my honesty if it comes off as rude, but this description does nothing to help me figure out where that last hostage in the courtroom is. You've told me that he's in the courtroom which does narrow down the search somewhat, but if I still can't find him in there then I'd be left at the mercy of asking others where he is because this doesn't tell me exactly where to find him. It also doesn't mesh well with the fact that there's also a time limit on the mission and having to search every inch of the courtroom because there's no detailed description of where this guy is is counter-productive to finishing the contract within that time limit. And it only further stands out as odd when going further through the guide reveals nice, detailed pictures of other "collectibles" throughout the other contracts.

To help you out. When landing in the courtroom, go left amd under the stairs you see. In the corner there will a door. Enter and you come to a secluded part. In the room left down the hall an officer will guard the ISA soldier in a room you have to hack into. Be quick to flash or tranq the officer, for Intel, otherwise he will shoot the soldier.

Sorry about that, I took screenshots of all the "collectibles" as I played through them, but I hadn't really considered it during that contract as it was my very first one. For now I'll re-write the description, though I may also just fire up the game again to get some screenshots.

Anything else like that that is too vague, just let me know :)

The thing about this prisoner is he's already featured in the collectibles guide and the trophy guide because you have to interrogate the official who's holding him captive, and there is a camera right outside of the room he is in AND there is a trophy for interrogating the officer who's holding him captive.

Interrogate the Captain in the Judge's chamber and save his hostage in 'Justice For All'

I didn't think we needed to pinpoint the same prisoner 4 different times, you would think his location would seep in most gamers minds through osmosis. But apparently not so we'll it in.

Thank you sir, and thank you +1 for using my favorite word in the English language.

For stealthing through the lower roof in Hostile Takeover, I found it easiest to snipe everybody with the M33 first. From the ledge you kilo the first sniper from, you can get a line of sight on every enemy in the area, except for the 2 that walk out on the balcony when you're about halfway through the area. This way you can safely detonate the first proximity mine (right before Blackjacks), and activate Ghost right before the 2 snipers appear on the balcony.

From here you can checkpoint at Blackjacks or, if you have enough juice in your ghost generator, you can walk past the second and final proximity mine (just hug the opposite wall, don't jump over).

Ah well, doesn't hurt to be thorough :p

I'll add it in (I love being able to edit immikeulate's posts :p)

I am not able to find the 3rd munition box in demolition contract in "Justice for All" It states near the room where the helghan officer interrogating

Also 3rd crate doesn't show up on radar.. Help appreciated...

It's the room directly next to where the Helghast officer is interrogating the ISA trooper. The screenshot in the spoiler will show you roughly where on the map it is.

When you rappel down into the area with the second munition dump, turn left and you'll see a door. Go through there and you'll find the third one in the first room you see.

I'm having huge trouble with the Justice for all covert contract. I'm usually pretty good with stealth but I'm having the hardest time avoiding an alarm in the very first area after rapelling down. The best stealth approach would of course be to avoid all enemies but I also need 50 kills with the StA-7 SMG. The problem is, that smg is terrible or I'm just using it wrong. Even on recruit it takes too long to take out an enemy and a headshot doesn't help either cause one hit isn't enough and causes enemies to stumble, making a follow up hit even more difficult. Any advice?

Don't worry about getting kills here. There are only 3-4 enemies in that area anyway. So avoid kills in that area, you will be able to get more than enough kills after rescuing the admiral. And then when you are outside fighting the tank, if you don't rush to blow it up about a dozen enemies will spawn.

I had trouble killing the two heavies by spamming grenades for the Precision contract in Exit Wounds. But I noticed two things: 1. Explosions stun the heavy, exposing its back which has an illuminated area that if shot at enough will blow them up similar to the gas tanks on the flamethrower dudes and 2. Justus periodically drops hanging bombs that explode after being shot, and they have a similar effect on the heavies to frag grenades.

I actually managed to kill them all without an alarm ;)

One question about the code of engagement demolition contract though. What do those Petrusite containers look like? I just screwed cause I completely forgot about them when I entered the server room and after surviving the fight there it suddenly said mission failed because I didn't destroy the canisters.

This got me into a nasty, well, you can't quite call it a glitch, but right now I have to restart the mission because I only have a couple seconds until the mission fails - not enough time to get all canisters.

And again, I can't make out any canisters right now. Are those the blue pipes, which is what they look to me, that blow up when you shoot them and that can already be found at the wing (at least a couple of them)?
