D3 Publisher previously worked on the all-girl action shooting game, Bullet Girls, and their next title focuses on women, too. This time, you play as a guy taking a bunch of pictures in an open world. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine reveals more. Nairo High School: Seishun Hakusho takes place on a small island located somewhere in Japan, called Yumegashima, and it’s where you’ll spend time exploring what D3 calls "youthful memories that are filled with panties”. The protagonist will spend three months as a transfer student at a school on the island. After meeting a childhood friend, he decides to join the journalism club that hasn’t been doing too well. Using his camera, he’ll be getting a bunch of scoops for the club. And by scoops, I mean taking pictures of girls. Since Nairo High School has over 300 characters living on the island, with over 150 of them as part of quests. Depending on what you do with these characters, it will alter the development and ending of the game’s story. One screenshot from the magazine shows the protagonist laying on the floor to take a quick look at a lady’s *ahem* undergarments. He then gets detained by the police. Even though Hairo High School offers plenty of freedom in an open world, it looks like you’ll actually have to be careful and not get caught, or face the consequences. Nairo High School: Seishun Hakusho will release in Japan sometime in 2015 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Instead of shooting down giant insects, D3 Publisher’s next game is about taking shots of panties and youthful memories on a small island full of girls. Famitsu shares a look at some first screenshots of Nairo High School: Seishun Hakusho. As previously reported, the protagonist is a photographer for a journalism club, and he’ll have to take all kinds of pictures, especially those from the 300 characters living on the open-world island of Yumegashima, and 150 of them that are part of quests. Quests come in different varieties. As a photographer, the protagonist’s main goal is to take nice pictures, and the first step as a social photographer is to take nice picture of the people on the island living their daily lives. The above is a look at the protagonist taking on a request from some dude saying “hey there’s something I’d like you to do for me. It’s okay, right? We’re friends, after all,” and there are choices out of “sorry,” “is that so?” or “I guess it can’t be helped” as responses. However, it looks like there might be some strange requests along the way, where you’ll need to solve mysteries from the shadows, such as what kind of panties a certain girl is wearing. You can go around town and lay down on the ground to take better pictures, but let’s not get caught while being a creep, or you’ll get reported and detained by the police. Nairo High School: Seishun Hakusho will release in Japan in 2015 for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.

Nairo High School: Seishun Hakusho, the game that puts you in the role of a high school photographer on an island town, will release in Japan this June, reports this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. According to the game’s story, the protagonist will spend three months as a transfer student at the school on the island of Yumegashima, where he’ll help his childhood friend and the journalism club that isn’t doing too well, so he’ll have to put some effort into keeping it alive. While you do actually play as a young photographer for the school journalism club, you’ll actually take on various requests from over 300 characters living on the open-world island, which ranges from taking actual nice pictures to… panty shots. The magazine report shares more on a special power called AAM (Accel Action Mode) that basically lets you slow down time while sliding and jumping. Think of it as Stranglehold’s “Tequila Time” but instead of raining bullets on enemies, you’re trying to take better pictures of unsuspecting girls. Similar to committing crimes in the Grand Theft Auto games, whenever you perform perverted acts, it will increase your “Suspicious Person” meter, which will result in the cops showing up. Getting caught too much results in a school suspension. Nairo High School: Seishun Hakusho will release in Japan on June 4, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

Natsuiro High School: Seishun Hakusho takes place on an open-world island, where you’ll get to go fishing, check out stores, meet people, and more importantly—take a bunch of pictures of them. The latest trailer for the game gives us a tour of the island. The video starts out with the protagonist making a call to inquire about Yumegashima, an island where he’ll be transferring to attend school for the next three months. It’s described as an island of freedom. Since it’s an open-world-ish game, you can visit the school and all kinds of other areas as well. You can use a bicycle to get around most places, and following that we get to see a little bit of the school’s interior. The classroom the protagonist will attend has 29 students, and they’re all said to be good kids. When asked if he has any interests, the protagonist says that he’s into photography, and is told that the journalism club would be a good fit for him—plus, its members consist of only girls. You’ll meet other students from different clubs like the American foreign exchange student of the cheerleading club, Naomi Thunders, the track and field ace Hikaru Yukimura, and others. There are over 150 characters that are part of quests and various interactions on the island. They might not speak much at first, but once you take on quests, you’ll grow your bond with the folk of Yumegashima. When you’re not at school, you can check out the antique shop for all kinds of items, get a new look at the barber shop, go fishing by the shore, or just explore the island to enjoy some sights; however, you might want to be careful out there, since there are cops who’ll arrest you if you don’t mind your manners. There’s also a legend on Yumegashima, where you can actually talk to God. They say that only some people are actually able to see him, and he can make all kinds of wishes come true… such as making everyone’s clothing items disappear for a while. In the Fall, there’s a special school festival event, where you’ll get a chance to meet a famous idol. You can spend your time checking out the island, hanging out with friends, or even get close to girls to go on dates with, if you play your cards right. Natsuiro High School: Seishun Hakusho will release in Japan on June 4, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
