deviousdave
I like the infamous games but someone told me this was a lot different but still good. is it?
Muthafodder
Totally worth the price...whatever that price may be I'm currently finishing up the game.
Satnamji
It's on sale now. (only $4.89 with Plus) Go get it!
DarqueDragon
What bout for someone like me? I loved the original, but have yet to play 2. Are the controls and general gameplay the same, or do I have to learn all new stuff? $4.89 is not a bad price for a 2 to 3 hour game (read somewhere that was the approximate length), but I see a couple threads saying bad things about the game, so I am still unsure. Will it make less sense or something if i don't pat Infamous 2 first?

Will it make less sense or something if i don't pat Infamous 2 first? I've only played the first myself and from my understanding, the events of Festival are totally independent of the second inFamous, except for the fact it's set in the same city. I personally don't feel like I'm missing out on anything, though I am more excited to play inFamous 2 now. I believe the controls are the same, though I'm playing with a Move controller (not required), which takes a bit getting used to. Regardless, there are some new abilities but even using a Move instead of a DS I'm having no problem adapting. I think the negative threads on this game are mostly in regard to the amount of content for the original price of $10. For my money, this is a very nicely put together PSN game with excellent graphics, new enemy types, interesting and colorful (though dark) setting, and fun new gameplay elements. theDSsucks
I had same questions, but when I saw it discounted to $6.99, i jumped on it. After 2 days of playing, yes it's worth it. Same offensive powers, with added radar and flight. If loved 1, you'll love this. Is it worth $10. I've spent $10 on crummier things.

I've been thinking about picking this up but didn't know for sure, as I haven't played inFAMOUS 2 yet either. But if this is completely independent of the second game, I'll most likely get it. tbond22
For me it was too short to pay full price, but when it was under $5 I picked it up fast. It is a fun game, but short.
marsboy88
this game is different (vampires) but totally worth the 10 or 15 bucks. i got all the trophies in it!!!!:
Rddflag
It's short, but that should be obvious since it's a PSN game. I got a solid three or four hours out of it while doing trophies.
Saephiroth
I'm working through the game now, and I have to say it's definitely worth the $10. It's a lot of fun with the new abilities, and has nothing to do with the plot of either Infamous 1 or 2, really.
GRJTerror05007
Buy it. I worths the money. I'm sure you will have a lot of FUN!
Lara Soft
i didnt like infamous 1 and 2 but i really enjoyed this, lol
the_requiem
I missed it when it had dropped below $5. At $10 price tag... let me put it this way... GTA Episodes from Liberty City is available for about $12. Journey is for $15, but it is something that has replay value. This one, not that much. DerbyStar
The add-on is okay. I liked Infamous 2 alot more. It isn't bad at all, just short. Though it was good to go back to New Marais
Keyser Soze
At $10 I say it's worth it, but only if you were a fan of the first two. If you weren't, this game won't change your mind and you'll be pissed. I got it on sale so I'm real happy about the price, but I would have been okay at $10. At $15 I wouldn't have been as happy. larterman
As been said, it is quite short even for a PSN game but i really enjoyed it.
felix594
I was glad to find this thread as I just started 2 and remembered seeing something about the "vampire" inFamous awhile back and was thinking about looking into it.
Vaart
It's very short even for a game from PSN but it's very enjoyable (even more so if you like the previous games) and worth the price.
Satnamji
I bought it on sale for $5 and enjoyed it. I wouldn't pay $10 for it though considering I can get a full retail bargain bin title for that amount.
GameCollector
As it is now for sale, it's definitely worth a buy for $5. Great little game, although I personally couldn't justify spending $10 on it. :/
Neiluto12
I'm now playing infamous 2. I was wondering how festival of blood compares to it.
Alex Fly
The game is excellent ! It's often discounted to half its price and totally worth it.
Tabe
I bought Festival of Blood on one of the PS+ sales - I think I paid $2.50 - and it was worth that price. Not much more than that though. I didn't like it anywhere near as much as the full Infamous games (both of which I loved and achieved platinum on). This one...didn't like the plot, wasn't real crazy about the enemies, etc. Seemed more tedious than fun. Easy 100% though, if that's your aim.
