I voted 26-30, as I did two complete playthroughs on two different save slots, before replaying chapters for trophy clean up and all endings.

I know what to do and it's still between 24-30 hours. Not sure how you came up with 16-18 hours.

There's a walkthrough guide around here somewhere that expedites getting all trophies if you don't care about spoilers in your first playthrough. So 16-18 hours with that guide feasible, I imagine, as you only have to play the entire game once, and then do chapter select for clean up and to get all endings without going all the way back to Kassam's shop.

Well, yeah, but having the story spoiled makes the game boring to play.

Anyway, I think it took me about 30 hours. I played the game once, then went back until the shop to clean up all remaining trophies. And then I had to cut off my finger over and over again because that scene was just awful and me messing it up didn't make things better.

Playing it again in the past week or so, if you have ten hours for the first playthrough with no trophies in mind, you'll have ~eight hours for the Perfect Crime trophy, then more for the other endings/mopping up anything you didn't get elsewhere. 25-30 seems right. And an hour of that is probably having to sit through the credits at the end six or seven times.

About 30 hours for me.

Did first play through without guide.

Then spent a lot of time doing nerd, trial master and perfect crime.

Spent more time with four heroes.

Then hunted down all of the endings and cleaned up remaining trophies (like kamikaze).

This was one game where trophies DID NOT enhance the game experience. The pacing and story and interplay were OK on the first play through, but in subsequent play throughs the game got progressively boring. Not a great game for trophy hunting.

P.S. Figured out I could quit game when credits rolled without losing anything.
