Introduction:

This game is a mixture of many of the classic board games that have been released by Hasbro. The trophies to the game are very easy and you will most likely not struggle on all of them. The only problem is if you try to do it yourself, then you may require a second controller for Boggle. Apart from that, the game can be completed in a day or two as you can play most of the games with just 1 controller.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Playing Through the Games

There are 5 games that you have to go through to earn the platinum. Those are Battleship, Boggle, Connect 4, Sorry! and Sorry! Sliders. You should go through in the order on the trophy guide and don't swap between games. Just concentrate on 1 game at a time.

Step 2: Misc. Trophies

These are the trophies like going online and playing a game. You could get online and hope someone will be online or you could get a friend to help you out on that. Then do the 'Changing Rooms' trophy (no longer possible, due to server closure). Just view the room and use  or  on the D-pad to change certain things within the room. The other two Miscellaneous trophies will come just playing the game.

Step 3: Cleanup

You may not get to this step but if you have still got some trophies left then focus on getting them rather than playing the game.

Awarded all trophies

Unobtainable due to server closure.

Earn all other trophies to get this one.

--BATTLESHIP--

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/02.jpg Beginners Luck (B)

Scored a hit on your first turn

Easy trophy to get if you are playing with 2 people on 1 controller. When you can place your opponents ships down and easily hit them. You should get this trophy in the first Salvo match along with Destroyed, Iron Bottom Sound and Make Every Shot Count.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/03.jpg Destroyed (B)

Sunk your opponent's destroyer before any other ship

Get this on a game of Salvo when playing with 2 people on the same controller. The destroyer ship is the ship that is only two sections long. Destroy that ship first and the trophy is yours. You should get this trophy in the first Salvo match along with Beginners Luck, Iron Bottom Sound and Make Every Shot Count.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/04.jpg Iron Bottom Sound (S)

Sunk all of your opponent's ships in Salvo within 4 turns

An easy way to do this is if you play with 2 people on the same controller. Place all of the opponents ship on the bottom row as well as the end right column starting from the bottom. As long as the opponent misses your ships every time then this trophy is attainable. You should get this trophy in the first Salvo match along with Beginners Luck, Destroyer and Make Every Shot Count.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/05.jpg Make Every Shot Count (S)

Sunk a ship longer than 3 units without missing in Battleship

This trophy can be gotten in Salvo whilst going for the other trophies. As long as you don't hit the water before you destroy a boat that is 3 sections long then the trophy is yours. You should get this trophy in the first Salvo match along with Beginners Luck, Destroyer and Make Every Shot Count.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/06.jpg Sea Commander (G)

Won 20 games of Battleship

Quickest to do in Salvo. Do it with 2 people on 1 controller. Place the opponents ships close together whilst allowing the CPU to place yours to save time. Blow up the opponents ship and on the opponents turn if you hit a red then try to avoid that area.

--BOGGLE--

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/07.jpg Boggle Beginner (B)

Won a game of Boggle

Start a custom game of Word Hunt with these settings:

Advanced Controls - No

Portal Cubes - Yes

Panic Flip - No

Auto-Rotate - No

Rounds - 1

Round Time - 0:30

For this you have to use two controllers and it is the only game that you have to use two controllers on. These settings apply to the 50 multiplayer matches trophy as well. Just win 1 game for this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/08.jpg I Call Fives (B)

Finished a game using only 5-letter words

Using the settings from 'Boggle Beginner' just play the Word Hunt and go for 5 letter words only. If you make a mistake just do it on the next game as these games are counting towards the 50 multiplayer wins as long as you are playing a 2 player game with 2 controllers.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/09.jpg Portal Pro (S)

Won 10 games of Boggle with Portal Cubes turned on

As long as you use the settings from Boggle Beginner, this trophy will come going for Mind Boggling.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/10.jpg The Mighty 8 (S)

Spelled an 8-letter word in Boggle

Easier to do in Word Hunt as the words are given to you. Sometimes an 8 letter word will appear and it will always be at the top of the list unless there is an even bigger word. Just use the settings from Boggle Beginner and quickly put in the word before the timer runs out.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/11.jpg Mind Boggling (G)

Won 50 multiplayer games of Boggle

You will need to use the settings from Boggle Beginner as it makes it quicker for overall for getting 50 multiplayer wins. You cannot play 2 player using the same controller on Boggle so two controllers are required to earn this trophy. Just leave the Player 2 controller alone whilst going for this.

--CONNECT 4--

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/12.jpg Power Chip Collector (B)

Won a game of Connect 4 using all of the Power Chip types at least once

Play a custom game of Power Chips using these settings:

AI Difficulty - Novice

Column Drop - No

Drop Clock - Disabled

Rounds - 1

Score Limit - 50 (to be sure you get all power chips done.)

Time Limit - None

The power chips are:

Double Score Chip! - Gives Doubles score when connecting four or more chips

Newton Chip! - When put on a column it knocks the bottom chip out

Block Chip! - Blocks a column to prevent the other player putting chips in there for 1 turn.

Bomb Chip! - Blows up a few chips as well as itself in the area.

Heavy Chip! - Destroys all chips in a column but other heavy chips.

Use all of these Power Chips then the trophy will pop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/13.jpg Grid Lock (B)

Finished a game with a draw by filling the whole board

This is easier to do with 2 people on 1 controller. Play an original game and try to make the board end up like this (Yellow=Y, Red=R):

Y-R-Y-R-Y-R-R

Y-R-Y-R-Y-R-Y

R-Y-R-Y-R-Y-R

R-Y-R-Y-R-Y-Y

Y-R-Y-R-Y-R-R

Y-R-Y-R-Y-R-Y

There are other ways but I used this one because I kept messing up.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/14.jpg Cleverly Connected (S)

Won a total of 10 games of Connect 4

This trophy will come when going for Connect 4 Master.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/15.jpg Perfection (S)

Won 4 single player rounds of Connect 4 in a row!

This is one of the more difficult trophies in the game and I got quite frustrated with it. I found it easier to win once I get the flip and place my first coin in the middle of the boar, then I worked from there. There are no solutions on winning but you can work out your own strategies which help you. This has to be done in 1 player against AI. Make the AI difficulty Novice. Many people have methods but they only work under certain situations.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/16.jpg Connect 4 Master (G)

Won 50 games of Connect 4

Using the two player method with one controller, quickly make the guest player lose by placing your chips in a 4 whilst doing whatever to them. This trophy will take some time.

--SORRY!--

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/17.jpg Sorry! Starter (B)

Won one game of Sorry!

Simply win 1 game of Sorry!, to get this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/18.jpg Rainbow Dancing (B)

Won a game of Sorry! after moving one pawn from each team back to the start zone

I found that I could only earn this trophy playing against 3 AI players but others may get it another way. Just use a Sorry!, Sidesweep, Wipeout or have the exact card number to get to their place to make them go back to the start. Make sure you do this for the Blue, Yellow and Green pawns at least once, then go onto win to get the trophy. It may just come by playing as well.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/19.jpg All Out Offensive (S)

Moved 2 pawns from every opposing team back to the start in one game

I could only do this with 3 AI players. Using a Sorry!, Sidesweep, Wipeout or have the exact card number to get to their place to make them go back to the start. Do this twice for each colour to get the trophy. May be done with 2 players as well.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/20.jpg Friendly Competition (S)

Won a total of 5 games of Sorry!

Just make all of your pawns get to the end before the opponents do. Use the 2 people on 1 controller method as you will have more control over the opponent's pawns.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/21.jpg Master of the Cards (G)

Used all the Sorry! Bonus cards in one game

The bonus cards are:

Freedom - Lets out one of your pawns without having to use a 1 or 2 card.

Wipeout - Takes away all players furthest from home pawns

Sidesweep - Get on a corner and use this one. Will take out anything from your last position to the corner

Steal - Steal a card from another player

All Change - Changes the hand of cards you have

Sorry! - Take out an opponent's pawn to take its place, leaving their pawn back in the start zone.

Use all of these Bonus cards in one game, win or lose, to earn the trophy. Easier done without AI and using 2 people on 1 controller.

--SORRY! SLIDERS--

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/22.jpg Fast Sliding (B)

Won at Sorry! Sliders in under 5 minutes

This is an easy trophy that will come in the first match as long as you play with 2 people and both take your turns fast.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/23.jpg Novice Slider (B)

Won one game of Sorry! Sliders

This will come in the first game if you are playing a 2-player game with someone else. Use the settings:

Turn Table - No

Battle Boxes - Yes

AI Players - 0

AI Difficulty - Novice

KO Penalty - No

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/24.jpg Ice Man (S)

Used the Ice Pawn 10 times

Using the 'Novice Slider' settings, get some battle boxes which are the random boxes that will appear in the middle of the board. This will come easily going for the 20 wins.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/25.jpg Slider Shark (S)

Won 20 games of Sorry! Sliders

Easier and quicker to earn using 2 people on 1 controller with no AI and 'Novice Slider' settings. To make the opponents pawn not reach the middle just lightly push up on the left stick and it is less likely to make it to the middle of the board.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/26.jpg Slide Time (G)

Played Sorry! Sliders for over an hour

This will come before the 20 wins trophy but is cumulative so you don't have to do it in one go.

--MISC TROPHIES--

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/27.jpg Get Connected (B)

Played any game online

Unobtainable due to server closure.

There aren't that many people online usually so I'd suggest getting a partner to help you get this trophy. Play a full game of your choice with the partner and the trophy should pop up. See here for the boosting thread: LINK

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/28.jpg Changing Rooms (B)

Customised the Family Game Room

Go into 'My Stuff' and then on the bottom right corner is 'My Room'. Choose that option to view room and change stuff with the D-Pad.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/29.jpg Professional Player (S)

Totalled 3 hours of play time

This will come by just playing the game but is cumulative so you don't have to do it in one go.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/266/30.jpg Full House (G)

Won all the trophies for Connect 4, Boggle, Battleship, Sorry! and Sorry! Sliders

You earn this by earning all the trophies for the games but can be obtained without getting any of the Miscellaneous trophies.

Is this title the same for both UK and USA? I'm sure I read somewhere that Scrabble is included in the USA version which may affect the trophies and guide.

Could just be me hearing the voices again though, damn voices :p

You are right about Scrabble not being in EU versions of the game but it doesn't affect the game at all. Both Yahtzee and Scrabble and possibly one more (I can't remember) are all games on there which have no influence to the trophies. Both lists are the same.

Just make sure you go first, and you're unbeatable.

This was posted in another thread. Its make the Perfection trophy very simple. I thought you may want to add the link to the guide.
