Two controllers Introduction Happy Feet Two is a 3D musical adventure game for the entire family inspired by the whimsical Antarctic world of the animated film. In the game, new dangers are threatening the penguin nation, and it's going to take everyone working and dancing together to save them from extinction. Players use dance moves to recruit penguins with unique abilities that help advance the adventure, stun opponents and enemies, as well as manipulate the environment around them to solve co-operative puzzles. Credit: IGN It's a very easy plat that is family friendly! The best way to do this is in co-op with a friend or relative, as it's much more enjoyable that way. There is a grinding trophy that does add to the length it takes to the platinum, but overall, the trophies should be no problem for you. One fun thing to note: The trophies are all titles of songs! Walkthrough Step 1: Play the Game First, make sure vibration mode is on for your controllers. Make sure to turn on the 2nd PS3 controller before you finish a level, race or beat a boss by pressing . This way, you do not have to play a second play through with 2 controllers for the Co-op trophy Take On Me . The game has a level-select screen, which makes everything so much easier. As you go along through the game, collect every music note possible and level up all songs to Level 7, after which, just buy a new song and switch to it to level it up to 7. Keep track of which levels you complete with a 2nd controller at the end, if you miss one and forget which one you missed, it's back to the start! If you play with another person just make sure to win the races and bonus levels, otherwise take note of the levels you did not win so you can re-do them later. If you have good co-ordination skills, you should beat the boss levels pretty easily. However, it is a daunting task to do with co-op or one person controlling 2 controllers, so I recommend playing them solo and at the end, simply press the button on the 2nd controller and it will count as if you played the entire level in co-op. At the end of this step, you will definitely have these trophies: ABC Out of Touch You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet Ebony & Ivory I Don't Want To Miss A Thing That's What Friends Are For Step 2: Clean Up (with Level Select) Get any trophy that you did not get during this step, except for Runaway . If you did not finish a level, race or boss level in co-op, now is the time to use level select on those. (Hopefully you kept note of which levels you didn't do co-op). Also, if you didn't do any of the race trophies or "full health" trophies, you can do it during this step. At the end of this step, you will have these trophies: Don't Go Breaking My Heart Don't Stop Till You Get Enough Wind Beneath My Wings Wannabe Jump Nothin's Gonna Stop Us Now Never Gonna Give You Up Another One Bites The Dust Blaze Of Glory Close To You Beat It Rhinestone Cowboy You've Got A Friend The Way We Were Let's Go Crazy Sledgehammer I Feel The Earth Move You Make Me Feel Like Dancing Blinded By The Light Drop It Like It's Hot Ice Ice Baby Shake Ya Tailfeather Joy Ride Convoy Physical Celebration Good Vibrations Rock With You Take On Me Heart of Gold We Built This City Rapture Step By Step Eye Of The Tiger Don't Worry, Be Happy Bridge Over Troubled Water Gold Digger Satisfaction Step 3: Last Trophy (Grinding) The Runaway trophy should be the last you need. The only thing you will have a grind for this is getting enough music notes to buy the songs and level up the songs. There are 19 songs in total. Be sure to buy a new song once you level up a song. After that, you should have your Platinum. At the end of this step, you will finally have these trophies: Runaway Collect All The Trophies Edited June 15, 2019 by HaoleDave Updating difficulty per thread votes and adding new Banner

On the bottom of the screen, you will see a row of penguins that is see-through. When you get a penguin in your group by dancing to the beat (pressing to the beat), these penguin symbols will fill in. Fill in all of the penguins and the trophy is yours. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/37.jpg That’s What Friends Are For Complete the game. This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. This trophy will unlock after you finish level 54. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/38.jpg Take On Me Complete an entire game in co-op. This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. This trophy will unlock after you finish level 54 (assuming you were able to complete the other levels in co-op). In order to make the co-op count for a normal level, you must turn on your second controller and press , then you can press on both controllers on the exit. Note: You can use Chapter Select if you miss one. To prevent this, keep a detailed track of each level you complete in co-op. For races, see Never Gonna Give You Up For bosses, see Eye Of The Tiger http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/39.jpg Heart Of Gold Complete the last level of a Land with full health. See Out Of Touch for more info. This trophy will unlock after you finish levels 16, 31 or 47 with full health. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/40.jpg We Built This City Bring 200 friends to the Doomberg. This Doomberg is the last Boss level. Simply get 200 penguins from collecting them in each level and from leveling up songs. There are well over 200 penguins to get, get every penguin in the levels as you play and level up as much songs as you can. By the time you reach the end you will have enough. This trophy should pop up as soon as you start level 54. Race Trophies: http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/02.jpg Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough Win your first Race. See Never Gonna Give You Up http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/09.jpg Wind Beneath My Wings Fill the boost bar in a Race. There are two ways to do this: 1) whenever you’re in the air, press any of the four shape buttons and when you land, you will get half of a boost bar (so you do this twice); 2) When you reach a ramp hold down to give yourself a boost up to the ramp to reach the stunt hoop. Press on the ramp for a jump and, immediately as you're going through the hoop, press the corresponding shape button (, , or ) to give you a full boost bar. The trophy will unlock soon afterwards. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/10.jpg Wannabe Complete three stunt hoops in a single Race. See Rapture http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/12.jpg Jump Jump off three stunt ramps in a Race. See Rapture http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/23.jpg Nothin’s Gonna Stop Us Now Complete a Race without hitting anything. For this trophy, simply avoid hitting any objects in the Race. It’s easier to do this on the first race (Level 9). When you reach the finish line without hitting any objects, the trophy will pop up. Hint from dellboy81: Also, a hint if people are finding it hard to get Heart Of Gold and Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now. Providing you have already won the race for level 16 and in co-op of course, replay it in single player. Now go slowly and avoid all obstacles, once the CPU player wins, the trophies will pop as you will have completed a race without hitting anything and finished a land without getting hurt. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/24.jpg Never Gonna Give You Up Win every Race. This trophy will unlock after you finish a race in first place in all races. There's only one other penguin racing against you, either a CPU or a second player. If you turn on a second controller, it may be difficult to finish the race because the second player may die and you will have to restart the race. I recommend that you just race against the CPU. Hold down to get a speed boost, press on the ramp for a jump and hit the stunt hoops off the ramps while pressing the corresponding button to fill your boost meter. Before you reach the finish line, press to join the second controller for the co-op completion. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/46.jpg Rapture Hit every Stunt Hoop in a Race. For this trophy you need to perform a stunt through the stunt hoops that are found above every ramp in a level. This can be done in the first Race you play (Level 9), which has 5 ramps, but they are easier to do than the higher levels. When you're near a ramp, press to get a boost up to it and press to jump off it, which should help get the Jump. Press the button that you see portrayed in the hoop while you are going into it: either , , or . Do this for each and every ramp in this level and the trophy is yours. Also, by jumping off three ramps, you should get the Wannabe and Jump. Note: Some people have had a lot of trouble with this, but apparently spamming the button when going through the hoop helps. You also need to make sure to hit the hoop dead on, not just graze the edge. Glitch: Some players seem to have trouble with this trophy even with a perfect race on Level 9 and using the spamming trick, so I would suggest going to Level 16 if this is the case. It is not as easy to navigate, but it does have 1 less hoop Boss Trophies: http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/17.jpg Step By Step Beat a Boss without making a mistake in co-op. See Eye Of The Tiger http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/41.jpg Another One Bites The Dust Beat a Boss without making a mistake. See Eye Of The Tiger http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/45.jpg Eye Of The Tiger Defeat every boss without making a mistake. For this trophy you need to match all of the buttons at the same time as the bouncing ball hits them by pressing the corresponding button without making a single mistake. After each section in the boss battle, you will have to mash one of the shape buttons (whichever shows up). If you make a mistake, just exit and restart the level. For doing the boss levels to get the co-op trophy, make sure your second controller is turned on, wait till the last button-mash and press on the second controller to join. Then mash the button that is showing on both controllers. If you defeat every boss without making a mistake, the trophy should pop up after you defeat the last boss. HaoleDave
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/06.jpg Beat It Stay on the beat for 20 beats. Press in a beat 20 times for this to pop up. You can tell if you are on beat if your penguin gives off blue/pink swirls around him. You can also see music notes, other penguins, breakable objects and the bar on top of the screen light up on the beat. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/07.jpg Rhinestone Cowboy Collect the most notes in a Bonus Level in co-op. Simply collect as much notes as you want in a Bonus Level (it is timed) and before you press on the exit, press on the second controller to join, then press on both controllers on the exit. The trophy will pop up. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/08.jpg You’ve Got A Friend Switch control between characters. You cannot do this in co-op. With only one controller in the game, press and it will switch to the other penguin. The trophy will pop immediately afterwards. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/11.jpg The Way We Were Revisit a previously played level. After you beat the first level you can exit to the main menu and press continue. Just click on the first level again, and the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/13.jpg Let’s Go Crazy Perfectly perform a Dance Combo and a Stomp Combo in quick succession. Press four times to the beat to perform a Dance Combo, and quickly press three times (each time as soon as your penguin is in the air) to perform the Stomp Combo. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/14.jpg Sledgehammer Smash five Stone Columns. A Stone Column is a pillar of stone that you have to smash to slide across to an unreachable area. The only way to smash stone columns is to have an Emperor Penguin in your group and perform the Stomp Combo (press three times). This will come naturally as you progress through the story. Once you smash the last Stone Column, the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/15.jpg I Feel The Earth Move Smash three Ice Boulders at the same time. Ice Boulders can be broken with a Stomp Combo or with one press of with the Disco Fish. The best place to do this is the first Bonus mission. Just head to the Disco Fish as soon as possible, and once you get it, get in the middle of a large group of Ice Boulders, and smash away. You'll know you can smash them when they are glowing, so if three are glowing, it's good to go! After you smash three Ice Boulders at the same time, the trophy should pop! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/16.jpg You Make Me Feel Like Dancing Convert three Penguins at the same time. In level 19 there are three penguins close by each other near the beginning just up the ledge to the left. Just do the Dance Combo with all of three penguins with the above their heads. The trophy will pop up right after. Possible Glitch: Terminator noted that it didn't work for him the first time, so he had to it again for the trophy to pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/18.jpg Blinded By The Light Collect a Disco Fish. You can't miss this. The first time you see a Disco Fish just go onto it and the trophy is yours. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/19.jpg Drop It Like It’s Hot Destroy 10 objects during Disco Fish mode. This is easily done in the first Bonus Level. Once you get the Disco Fish, start stomping with and the trophy will pop up after a bit. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/20.jpg Ice Ice Baby Move five Ice Slide Blocks. This will come naturally as you progress through the game. You move the Ice Slide Blocks by pressing near them. When the block goes to it's final position, your job is complete. Do this five times and the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/21.jpg Shake Ya Tailfeather Wake up five Sleepy Penguins. This will come naturally as you progress through the game. When you reach the amount of penguins needed to wake up a penguin, you can press to clap and wake up the penguin. Do this five times and the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/25.jpg Joy Ride Activate 20 moving platforms. This will come naturally as you progress through the game. You can activate a platform up and down by pressing when you are on top of it. Do this 20 times, and the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/30.jpg Convoy Assemble a group of five penguins. This can be done in the first level. Simply do a Dance Combo to collect a penguin and repeat four more times. Once you get the fifth penguin, the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/31.jpg Physical Scare 20 Skua Birds. To scare a Skua Bird you need an Emperor Penguin in your group. Once you have one do a Stomp Combo ( pause pause ) and it will be scared off, it will come back and you can either do it more times, or just scare any bird you see along the way through the game. After 20 scares (birds flying away) the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/32.jpg Celebration Collect 200 Black Music Notes in one level. This can be done on a level with the Golden Snowflake (except for the first encounter). Just collect as many Black notes as you can in the level and when you hit the Golden Snowflake, do Dance Combos to the beat and on the 4th dance move, all notes that are on the ground will rush towards you. Repeat until all Black Music Notes are gone. The trophy should pop if you get enough Black Music Notes. If it doesn't pop by the time you get your last Black Note in the level, try a different level further on in the game. This should come naturally if you try to get as much notes in each level as possible. Note: I am not sure if this can be done in co-op, as in if it's 200 divided amongst both. It may be 200 for one player. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/33.jpg Good Vibrations Activate all the Vibes in one level. This can be done in the first level as there’s only three Vibes to activate. Make sure your vibration is on for the controller that you are using. Walk around the entire level and when you feel vibrations, stop and do a Dance Combo two times, and Music Notes should pour out of the ground. Do this two more times for that level, and the trophy should pop. Luckily you only have to do this for one level, so don't fret about the other levels. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/34.jpg Don’t Worry, Be Happy Clap 108 times. This is probably the easiest trophy in the game and it's a Silver! All you need to do is press 108 times and the trophy will pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/36.jpg Bridge Over Troubled Water Cross 50 Ice Rails. This trophy should come naturally as you progress through the game. Just cross every Ice Rail you come across and it should pop up before the end of the game. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/42.jpg Gold Digger Unlock all songs. You first come across the song list before you can play a level. You have to purchase new songs with Music Notes that you have earned throughout the levels. There are a total of 19 songs. If you try to get as many Music Notes as possible in all of the levels you play, you should be able to purchase all songs before the last level. After you purchase your last song, the trophy should pop up. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/43.jpg Runaway Level up all songs. This trophy will most likely be the last one you get. It requires you to level up all songs to Level 7 (max level). There are 19 songs in total. You may have to grind to level up the last of the songs, once you are done with every other trophy. I had 7 songs left after I finished the game. Once you level up the last song, the trophy should pop up. Here's a hint from shoe478: Level 34 should take about 6 times to fully level up a song. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1049/44.jpg Satisfaction Collect 2000 Black Music Notes. This trophy will come naturally as you progress through the game, as long as you try to get as much Music Notes as possible in each level. I also suggest to get every Golden Snowflake, since they spawn a lot of Black Music Notes. This should pop up after you collect your 2000th Black Music Notes. dellboy81
ok ive found out what it is - to get the Jump trophy you have to press X when you are on the ramp - its not enough to just boost and go through the hoops, the X gives extra height. as soon as i did that 3 times it popped - so its possible to get through all hoops but not jump of all ramps which is weird. also a hint if people are finding it hard to get Heart Of Gold and Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now. providing you have already won the race for level 16 and in co-op of course, reply it in single player. now just go slowly, and avoid all obstacles. once the cpu player wins, the trophies will pop as you will have completed a race without hitting anything and finished a land without getting hurt. oh yes heart of gold levels should be changed to 16 and 31. although 15 and 30 are boss fights, 16 and 31 are last levels of those chapters. not sure on 47 as im only on 37 right now. I thought it was, but I wasn't sure if it was on the level so I chose 15 and 30... I know that 47 is the last of Elephant Seal Land, though. HaoleDave
Thanks for the guide. For whatever reason I had a terrible time getting the Rapture trophy. That trophy does take a bit of practice. IMHO it's the hardest trophy to do in this game, but this game is easy, so it doesn't make it that hard but it's still annoying. The description I put for That's What Friends Are For is: "This trophy is story related and cannot be missed. This trophy will unlock after you finish level 54." The description that you mentioned is the description I put for You’ve Got A Friend... This IS the guide that is stuck... there isn't any other guide on this site, I believe, for this game. When you're near a ramp, press to get a boost up to it and press to jump off it, which should help get the Jump. Press the button that you see portrayed in the hoop while you are going into it: either , , or . Do this twice more and the trophy is yours. Also, by jumping off the three ramps, you should get the Jump trophy. This is incorrect. You have to jump perfectly through five hoops. Atleast in my version. HaoleDave
This is incorrect. You have to jump perfectly through five hoops. Atleast in my version. I think it's wrong anyway because of how I worded it... I shouldn't have mentioned how many hoops, before making a suggestion for a level. Is it a total of 5 hoops on the first race? Edit: I think I meant (at least) three... because of the two previous trophies I had linking them to Rapture Fixed it... ZBlacktt
So, did all the trophies in this game but one. Hence why I've come looking. The Take on Me co op trophy. Does this mean you have to play all 54 levels in co op? If so, talk about total pain in the ass if you are alone. Even if you do the turn on other controller deal at the end. This means for many playing the whole damn game over.... ouch. boy, is my gaming card out dated below. Edited June 19, 2012 by ZBlacktt
