pretend_hero
Road Map + Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 2/10 + Offline: 43 (1 , 4 , 8 , 30 ) + Online: 0 + Approximate Time: 3 - 4.5 hours + Minimum Number Of Playthroughs Needed: 1 + Glitched Trophies: 0 + Cheats: None. All of the trophies should unlock in one playthrough as long as you 5-star every song and get perfect on the specific parts needed for certain songs. It's not as hard as it sounds. I suggest doing the mini games the second time you come across them, not the first time. You have to do them to complete the story anyway, so the first encounter would be a waste of time. For the clothing and decorating trophies, hold off on buying the items and decorating them until you've unlocked every area. You can run through the stores faster this way instead of jumping around. Build up your tokens by riding the horse in the beginning of the game and hold onto them. Everything is straightforward, so if the techniques above are followed the game can be completed in a minimal amount of time. pretend_hero
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/007.jpg Big Spender Buy 100 articles of clothing. Build up your tokens and buy every piece of clothing in every store you come across and you'll have this in no time. Make sure you don't waste your tokens on a bunch of decorations. Riding the horse at Grandma's House is the best way to earn tokens. NOTE: If this doesn't unlock after you have 100, wait to see if it unlocks after you buy a dress for a date (storyline event). http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/008.jpg Fashion Designer Decorate 30 items with the Hannah Box fashion designer. Go to the tour bus after having at least 30 pieces of clothing. Walk towards the pink box on the floor. You'll be able to press X when you get there. Select a decoration and then brand the same thing on every piece of clothing until this trophy unlocks. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/009.jpg Perfect Aim Win the Bottle Toss game at the Fair. You have to complete all 10 stages. It's a fairly easy game once you get the aim down. The only problem arises when you reach stage 10. My suggestion is to start on the top row and move over. Then the middle row and finally the bottom row. If you can tell where the arrow has to be for the sides, you should get this in no time. If you want to spend less time playing the game, just wait to complete these and you'll come across the games later on in the storyline. This can be done in Quickplay as well. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/010.jpg Expert Frog Launcher Get over 100 points on the Frog hop game at the Fair. This game is a little tricky. The best way seems to be launching the frog with medium power (one quick kick of the controller). Do this as fast as possible and adjust the power accordingly and there should be plenty of time to get 100 points. If you want to spend less time playing the game, just wait to complete these and you'll come across the games later on in the storyline. This can be done in Quickplay as well. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/011.jpg Champion Rider Ride Blue Jeans 10 times at Ruby's Farm. Do this as soon as you get to the horse in the beginning of the game. It gets boring, but remember that you need the tokens anyway. Take this opportunity to get the tokens to the max (99). You get a token for every 5 successful jumps. So 4 or 5 tokens each ride should be no problem. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/012.jpg Bullseye Play the Horse Races game at the Fair with three of your friends. This is probably the hardest trophy in the entire game unless you have 4 controllers. Guitar Hero and Rock Band guitars and drums count. Hook up 4 controllers and press X on all of them once the race starts. Then finish one of the three races and this trophy is yours. If you don't have 4 controllers, 2 will do. Start the game and hit X on the second controller to make sure it registers. Then press the PS button on one controller and change it to 3. Do the same for the other controller but change this one to 4. Make sure to press X to enter them into the race. Finish the first race and you'll get the trophy. If you want to spend less time playing the game, just wait to complete these and you'll come across the games later on in the storyline. This can be done in Quickplay as well. Gold Trophies http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/001.jpg Professional Earn a 5 Star rating for a performance. Exactly what it says. Earn five stars on just one performance. See 'Superstar' for details. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/002.jpg Superstar Earn a 5 Star rating on all songs. The best piece of advice for this is to do the Tutorials. Do them as many times as you need in order to get the movements down. It's easiest to screw up a song when doing the gestures, so make sure you memorize what is needed to do these. As soon as you've finished the last song in the storyline, you should get this trophy if you've gotten 5 stars on every other performance. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/003.jpg Rockstar Earn a 5 Star rating on each stage. If the stage has two songs performed on it, you only have to get 5 stars on one of them. This trophy is earned after performing Rock On as long as you've gotten 5 stars on every stage up to this point. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/121/004.jpg Crowley Meadows Save Crowley Meadows. You get this for completing the game. It unlocks as soon as the last song ends, which is You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home. hartsukka
Champion Rider. I found out (painfully) that if you don't do this when you first encounter the horse in the strory mode, you need to anyway do it via story mode! I tried this through the quick play minigames section and did it well over ten times without any trophy. But then I went back into story mode and into the Farm. Went over the horse and did it from there 10 times and the trophy unlocked. Riding 10 times in a row can be frustrating, but I had to do it well over 20 times because of this! Pesico
Have anyone had problems unlocking Superstar (Earn a 5 star rating on all songs)? I have all the 5 star a song trophies, but Superstar won't unlock. Edit: Turned out to be I was missing 5 stars on "Best of both worlds". That song doesn't have it's own trophy. Raj Koothrappali
Just curious why all the instrument specific trophies say this.. Don't worry if there is more than one keyboard section, as only one perfect is needed. Shouldn't it vary between guitar, keyboards, drums, & vocals? jthamind
i'm having trouble. i'm at the part where you have to buy a dress for your date with Travis, but i've already bought all the clothes at the place where you're supposed to buy it. so i don't know if i have any way to advance the story. Reys
Pretty good guide hero, one thing I would recommend even tough its not nessicary for the trophy, is that you have to push the sixaxis forward when riding blue jeans to make the jumps/
Tuffinz
There's a glitch in this game that some might want to know about. If you buy all of the clothes at Soly's prior to getting the mission to buy the dress for the date with Travis you will be stuck and have to start over. The game doesn't recognize that you've already bought the dress and the story won't progress. I have found this out the hard way and am now starting my second play-through of this very boring game.
