FadeToOne
I popped in the game last night to check it out and the sound in the game was really crackly up until I finished Panama. After that I tried out a tutorial and started Running with the Devil and it seemed to have gone away. Anyone else experience something like this? I'll have to see if it happens again if I get more time to check it out.

FadeToOne
Well, I played for a bit tonight and didn't encounter the same issue... so it must have just been some fluke and not a screwed up disc. Hurray.
ShorbE
i had the same same thing twice while playing GH5. It wouldn't stop till i restarted the game.
Blake_84
it does it to me sometimes too. i ususally quit, and reset the settings in the video, audio menu (where you choose wheather you have an HDMI and whatnot.)
JacobArdavanis
Same here! I typically reset it and once than, adjust everything I need. From there, everything works fine.
Aquamentus92
i had the same problem with GH5, and now it's a continual problem with GH3, and it won't go away no matter how hard i try. i hope that doesn't happen to my GHM or GHVH discs. the GH5 one seemed to fix itself though. JoshT
I had that for a while. I turned the machine off and it seems to have gone away. Could it be static from been a new disc?
Whiteclone
I get that quite a lot with the old guitar hero game engines (metallica, van halen, smash hits) it comes and goes, and is gone when you restart the ps3.
Shadowrider50
It could be your ps3 audio cables are bent too much, you know just like headphones when you only hear through them if the wire isnt bent
