FARAZ_1994
Another guide has been chosen as the preferred guide for this game. This thread has been closed and is not maintained and as a result may contain outdated or incorrect information. Please follow the link below for the preferred guide. *Direct link to stickied guide* http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/vv278/demonslayer1/GHSH.jpg Roadmap Overview-Estimated trophy difficulty: 8.88 (Taken from platinum difficulty poll found here) -Offline Trophies: 43 ( 33 , 8 , 2 ) -Online Trophies: 7 ( 6 , 1 ) -Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 30-50 hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 5 -Number of missable trophies: None -Glitched trophies: None -Do cheat codes disable trophies? : Yes the Autokick cheat disables trophies IntroductionThere are no missable trophies in this game. The only cheat code that does disable trophies is the autokick cheat where the game “kicks” for you (when performing on drums). 5 playthroughs are required as there are trophies for completing the career with each of the 4 instruments on expert and an extra playthrough for completing the career as a band as there is also a trophy for that.Walkthrough STEP 1: TutorialsIf you are new to guitar hero I suggest this is the first thing you do. You will need all the practice you can get in order to obtain the more difficult trophies in the game. Through this you will also become familiar with the guitar hero system. See "The More I See" in the guide for more info.STEP 2: Playthroughs with each of the 4 instruments on expert Now, you will playthrough the game (career) using each of the 4 instruments ( guitar, bass, drums, and the mic) on expert difficulty. This is by far the most time consuming and difficult step. You will have to master all 4 instruments. Practice, practice and more practice, thats what you'll need. See "Amazing Rockstar" in the guide for more details.STEP 3: Trophies that require you to perform as a band (Offline) Now, you will perform as a band and earn all the trophies related to performing as a band. A band is when 2-4 people , each on a different instrument perform a song at the same time. I advise you to find skillful partners for the more difficult trophies; but most of the trophies are quite easy and will come naturally when playing as a band. You should also finish the career as a band in this step. This can be done with as little as 2 people each with a different instrument. You could go with guitar and bass, or bass and drums, or any combination you desire.STEP 4: Creating Custom ItemsThere are quite a few trophies that require you to create custom items, so in this step you will do so. Creating custom items is not difficult at all. Simple go to career and go to edit character, or edit instrument and whatever corresponds with the trophies. After creating a custom instrument, character, band logo, and tattoo, this step will be complete. See "Master Craftsman" in the guide for more info.STEP 5: Online trophiesNone of the online trophies are too difficult and will come naturally except for the band vs band trophy. There is however an alternate way of doing this trophy. You can do this with 2 people each with 2 instruments on beginner. For drums all you have to do is kick and for the vocals you can put the mike near a fan or the speakers. See "Clash of the Titans" in the guide for more details.STEP 6: Trophies that require you to make specific scores/ratings on particular songsThis is the final step on your road towards platinum, but it's not an easy one. There are quite a few trophies that require you to do specific parts of songs and get specific ratings on songs. These will come in time and ,again through practice. Complete the song and the trophy is yours. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/30.jpgClash Of The Titans Win a Band vs. Band match (8 players). With all 4 instruments connected select "online" from the main menu and either create a band vs band match or search for one. A band vs band match is when you play with your band against another band, on any song and the band with the higher song at the end of the song wins. Once you find one, beat your opponent and you'll have this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/36.jpgRock Veteran Play 150 songs throughout your entire Career. There are 50 songs in total in each of the careers. Either complete the entire setlist of 3 out of the 4 careers (vocals, bass, guitar, drums) or divide it in such a way that you complete 150 songs. This is one of the more time consuming trophies in the games. NOTE: Songs completed on an instrumental career can be redone in another instrumental career and still count towards this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/48.jpgDeadzone Fail a song with available Star Power in single player. Very simple. Once you obtain star power while performing a song, fail the song by either strumming continuously or hitting wrong notes. Any type of match with any numbers of players will do. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/38.jpgAmazing Rockstar Complete single player Expert Career on all instruments. This is by far the hardest trophy in the entire game. For this you will be forced to master all 4 instruments and play on expert. My advice is that you start of with the guitar as by doing so you will also automatically master bass. Next, go for the drums, and finally do the vocals which is the easiest out of the 4. This will come with a lot of practice and determination. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/01.jpgComplete! Earn all of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Trophies. FARAZ_1994
Secret Trophies http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/37.jpgInhuman Score 5 stars in a song on Expert with Lars Umlaut in single player. Not as hard as it sounds. Lars Umlaut is one of the default characters of the game. When selecting the song you wish to do select Lars as your character. Stars are awarded depending on your performance, 5 stars being the maximum, 1 star being the minimum. Complete any song of your choice with Lars Umlaut on expert with a 5 star rating and the trophy is yours http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/39.jpgThat was Close! Win a song with the rock meter in red. What you can do is right before the ending of the song, strum deliberately or hit wrong notes until your rock meter is in red. Once the song finishes, you'll have this trophy. You should do this on a song you know very well. This way you will know when the song will end and you can prepare beforehand. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/40.jpgOpen Minded Strummer Hit all Open Strum notes in the song Laid To Rest as the Bassist. On bass, open strum notes are purple lines that appear on the board instead of the notes. To hit these notes you have to open strum which means that you will only have to strum. You do not have to do a combination of the strum with a button; just the strum. Hit all the open strum notes in this song, performing as bassist and you'll have this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/41.jpgRising Star Complete 100% on any song on Expert in single player. I recommend you do this on a song which you feel you know very well, with an instrument you are use to. 100% means that you can not miss a single note so there is a bit of frustration and difficulty involved in getting this trophy. Once you have achieved 100% on any song of your choice, on any instrument, this trophy is yours. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/42.jpgHail The Reverend Get 5 stars on the song Beast And The Harlot Expert Drums without using Star Power. Star power is obtained once you hit a series of star shaped notes. If you are good with the drums, this won't be too difficult for you. Do not use star power throughout the entire song. Once completed, this trophy is yours. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/44.jpgLightning Speed! Complete the song YYZ with 5 stars on Expert Bass. Once again, if you are good with bass, this won't be too difficult with you although there are some pretty challenging solos. Finish the song with a 5 star rating (DOES NOT NEED TO BE 100%) on expert, using bass and you will have this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/35.jpgCyborg Get a 100 note streak in the song Through The Fire and Flames on Hard or Higher as the Drummer. This is another one of the difficult trophies in the game. Through the Fire and Flames is easily the most difficult song in the game with gut-busting solos and insane note combinations. You will have to be very skilled at this song with the drums to be able to achieve this. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/43.jpgFree As A Band Score 2,000,000 points on the song Free Bird as a Band. All band members must be playing on expert to achieve this. Or it can be done like this: 2 on expert and the other 2 on hard. All band members must be very skilled at their respective instruments. Your score will be based on the difficulty you play and the amount of note steaks you get. Remember to use star power whenever you have the chance. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/46.jpgGolden Voice Score 95% or more on the song Killer Queen as the Vocalist (Expert). I recommend that you know this song by heart. This will remove the need to look at the bottom to see the song's lyrics. It will also make this trophy easier to achieve. You will need plenty of practice to achieve this unless you're a gifted singer. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/49.jpgYou Play It Well You perfectly played the Let's Play! section in the song Play With Me as a lead Guitarist on Expert. Self explanatory. You will have to hit every note in this particular section of the song in order to achieve this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/50.jpgRaining Notes You perfectly played the First Blood section of the song Raining Blood as the guitarist on Expert. Self explanatory. You will have to hit every note in this particular section of the song in order to achieve this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/51.jpgBloody Feet You completed the song Raining Blood with 5 stars as the Drummer on Expert+. Expert + is when you use two kick pedals instead of one (as the drummer). With the second kick pedal connected, play the song "Raining Blood". 5 stars is not easy unless you're really good so be prepared to practice. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/158/45.jpg8th Wonder Complete the song Through The Fire and Flames with 4 stars or more as the Guitarist on Expert. As I mentioned earlier, this is the most difficult song in the entire game. Expert on the guitar is ridiculously difficult. The amount of notes, the solos and the speed all combine with each other to make on pain-in-the-ass song. Again, for this you will need A LOT of practice. Whiteclone
Great guide! Is it just me or is the guitar hero people really getting lazy with trophies? I'm pretty sure these are almost exactly the same trophies for Guitar Hero Metallica and pretty much similiar to all the other Guitar Hero games. They should mix it up a little bit every now and then lol. =D
hemihotrod402
hey just a suggestion, I have found that for the 100% on expert trophy, for some people that just can"t get it, if you go under settings, and to the equilizer like thing, turn everything down, and turn vocals all the way up, and put the microphone in front of the speaker. Play raining blood on expert. The whole song is "talking". We did this when we boosted the every player on expert trophy. And when I was checking to see if it worked, it got 100% 5 times in a row. squodge
War Apparatus Complete a song on Expert + (Drums only). Your guide says you need two kick pedals - you don't. You only need one. I have the Rock Band drums, and I got this trophy with just one pedal (although admittedly it's much harder with one pedal - plus you do need the GH drumkit to get the Tutorial trophy). Amazing Rockstar Complete single player Expert Career on all instruments. For this trophy, do you have to beat every single song on Expert on every single instrument... or only Through the Fire and Flames on expert on each instrument? I don't particularly want to plough through certain songs if I don't need to.

grimydawg
And, yes, you will have to complete every song with each of the 4 instruments. The shortcut you are referring to can only be done in GH Metallica. I know you gotta complete every song, but do you know if I can play some songs on hard, then play TTFAF on exp? I'm trying to conserve my energy, if possible. I can do songs like Raining Blood or whatever, but I'm just asking...
grimydawg
Sorry, but I also forgot to mention something. For the "Rock Legends" trophy, if you're by yourself, you can have a mic on beginner and play whatever other instrument you want. I put my mic on my subwoofer on my sound system, and I just played bass, and I got got hte trophy. I think this is the easiest way to do it if you don't have anyone... grimydawg
Hey an easier way to get "Amazing Rockstar" trophy is to play songs on an easier difficulty until you get to TTFAF. Yes you have to play EVERY song prior to being able to play. At least you won't have to play every song on expert though. Good luck to guys. Just practice and you'll get it eventually:)
FARAZ_1994
Hey an easier way to get "Amazing Rockstar" trophy is to play songs on an easier difficulty until you get to TTFAF. grimydawg
Are you 100% sure? Yes I'm 100% sure. I played on drum career and I played all songs on ez, to conserve my energy, then I played TTFAF on expert and I got the trophy. When I finished, I got the "Amazing Rockstar" trophy after that (drums were the last instrument I had to complete all careers on). This was 2nd to last trophy be4 I got the plat. I could have save some energy by playing ez on all songs on all instruments then play TTFAF on expert. Oh well:D Edited April 9, 2010 by grimydawg

Parks001
when going for Killing In The Name Trophy does it still count as a win if someone "loses connection" otherwise quits cause they suck. also does it save your wins on the online server? i just beat this guy 10-15 times then he quit and i think my game froze in the lobby. if i restart do i lose all those wins since it didn't overwrite my save data? anyway to find out how many wins you have? Yes it does as long as it saved to your HDD then youre good. As far finding how many wins you have, you don't. When you have the amount of wins the trophy pops up..
