Chain Reaction woes

Devil May Cry

Recommended Posts

For some reason this trophy just refuses to pop for me. I'm guessing they don't explode in time though. I go to the outdoor pool on Charge Island and steal cars until I have about 15 or so. Still no luck. Are there methods that someone else here has done? The one in the guide doesn't work for me (enemies wont spawn).

P.S. The Rocket Launcher is pathetically bad. When an RPG hits the ground, it should blow up. NOT fly in some other direction!

This is the way I did it:

Got a bus from star junction, parked it so its blocking one of the roads on the Algonquin bridge. Then a load of car will pile up. So i got out, jumped on top of the bus, chucked some grenades in there and popped a few RPG's for good measure.

you can also go to the bikeshop in Alderney, near the Sultan RS..

go there and find a car to push the bikes up to the wall and park the car next to the 8 bikes, and then go find another car, so you have 8 bikes and 2 cars. And then you can use a rocket launcher or grenades to destory the bikes and cars...

I got my trophy by this method..

I did that way..

This is the way I got this one as well, it was also after some failed attempts at other methods. The bike shop in Alderney is the place to go, follow the method above of placing a few bikes & cars together.

This is the method that worked for me after several other failed attempts. Got it on my first try using this method.:D

As has been my tradition...I shall provide my tips from my trophy guide:

There are two easy ways to do this:

#1: Go to a gas station and pile cars up around the pump. Shoot the pump and KA-BOOM!!! Just be careful you don't get too much police attention.

#2: Steal a bus and find a "one-lane" bridge (a bridge that only has one direction of traffic). Park your bus across the lane(s) so that traffic cannot pass through. Use your gun to "AIM" at other drivers. DO NOT SHOOT! The drivers you aim at will flee their vehicles and leave their doors wide open. This makes it very easy for you to jump in the vehicles and pile them in closely together around the bus. You may receive police attention: ignore it. Once you have enough cars piled in closely, toss a grenade or two. You may die. As long as the required number of cars are blown up in the allotted time before you respawn at the hospital you will get the trophy. You will always find a bus parked on the side of the road in Star Junction (Times Square). There is a bridge near here that connects Algonquin and Dukes/Broker (bridge goes over Colony Island). This bridge is absolutely perfect for attempting this technique.

*I found the bus method much easier as the small capacity of the bridge helps to protect you. Cop cars can't come flying in as the traffic jam prevents it. Which means you only have to worry about a few pigs on foot. Niko vs. Pig = Game Over.
