GoodSpaceFellow
Ok so i got Gta 4 and finished it, a few weeks later i got the complete collection, and played though TBoGT and TLAD, now i want to go back and get some trophies for gta 4 but it says "The downloadable content required for this autoload is not available. Press X to start a new game of GTA4" Can someone please tell me how to get my file back please? I have my "story complete" file in my memory card but cant access it. I really dont want to redo the entire game.
GoTp
It just means the game is reading the autosave file. Which in your case is now a TBoGT or a TLAD save. So it doesn't know you have a GTA4 save yet. So you just start a new game of GTA4 and when it starts up you hit pause and go to the load save. Then assuming you have a manual save of GTA4 you load that and you are in business.
Nille
I can second what GoTP said. Whichever story you played last and reached a checkpoint in will load automatically.
mts1mts
Happened to me one time. Just do like the others are saying, go through the new game progress then pause and load any of your saved games. Then you'll get your stuff back.
gtasthehunter
I think it should be noted somewhere before switching between gta 4, TLaD or TBoGT make manual saves, cause you will lose the last Autosave when the next game autosaves! So if didn't make any manual save will have to start over! and to load a manual save will have to start new game then Start>Game>Load!>and pick any save you want to load!
