IsaacPlaystation321
I don't know how I can make the subject title any clearer, but since I keep playing mostly multiplayer and none of the campaign missions, I wanted to ask you all if you do the same thing. Do you only care for the multiplayer:think:

Do you only care for the multiplayer:think:Â I'm pretty sure you're talking about COD and Battlefield. Â No, I like to plat them all, so I play the campaing anyway. Azlanslayer
Never will. I will make my money worth by trying out everything they have inside
MageOfHealing
Nope. Never been like that. I like to play SP first.
BrokenLegacy--
Single player games are funner, in my opinion. Then again, I am an RPG gamer so my opinion may or may not, but most definitely is biased. Edited January 3, 2013 by BrokenLegacy--
chrisheadshot
I'll admit the multiplayer is my main focus in Call of Duty but I would play the singleplayer anyway. If it wasn't for trophies though, I wouldn't touch zombies at all, I really don't find it fun. Every other game though I will play every mode it has. joshwith
No, I always play the single player portion of games. Most of the time, unless trophies are involved, I don't touch multiplayer. MW2 was the only CoD game that I liked playing online. Â Recently, I've been playing Battlefield 3 online for a break while I play other games, and I have to say, it's the best online I've played. The soul of link
I bought Black Ops for the Multiplayer, but will get to the other trophies some day.
dcollins22
I usually choose a game based on its SP aspect rather then MP. In saying that though, I only buy CoD for zombies, but I still plat either way
danc
It's one of the main reasons I play cod, but I get the plat if I can so no I don't
Hypotenusa
If i buy game i will try everything it have inside. So no, i don't just play games for multiplayer.
Deftorn
I buy each game based off the Single player they have, MP is a bonus. The exception to that rule is probably diablo III, I bought it because I slammed so much of DII that it was obv I was going to get the next one, but also a lot of my IRL friends play it, so I pretty much only MP that game. A_Rabid_Pigeon
My answer to the question is no. I prefer single-player over multi-player because I enjoy a good story. If a game has a pretty lackluster single-player then I'll stop playing it and go to the multiplayer. I don't buy a game that has both and not play one. That's like buying a cheeseburger and only eating the buns.

Cyanide Breath Mint
I'm with the vocal minority in the sense that MP almost completely turns me off. The latest exception to that for myself was Borderlands 2 and only because I used the co-op thread there and met quite a few nice members this way. But for the most part, where you're thrown into random MP...almost never will I join. Simply not worth listening to all the ass hats out there over the service. I've really always been a SP kinda guy. Chick's dig it.
PainOfDemise
It's actually the complete opposite for me. I could care less about the multiplayer in the games and only about the campaign. Â I only play the multiplayer when it is necessary to get the trophies or the platinum, usually the platinum, if they have DLC only multiplayer trophies, I usually don't bother. AshtimusPrime
No. I have always bought my games for the single player. Single player is varied, exciting and has a story. Multiplayer is pretty much the same thing over and over. It's a fun add-on that's best played with friends. I could never understand those who buy a game just for multiplayer, especially if the difference from the last installment is minimal.
Captain_Speirs
Total opposite for me. The only game I've ever bought for the multiplayer was BF3. Other than that, it's ALWAYS for the single player.

Exedome
Oh, god no. I always play Single-player first, then I go for trophies, THEN I play Multi-player. I really don't like it when people buy games for Multi-player. Except for maybe Battlefield. But I always buy games for Single-player.
