Gnyg
It's sad. Happy for the fact that I don't know any of the teenagers who was there. Can't wait to read the killer's motivation for the killing. And for the terror attack. I thought it first was Al-Qaida. But I was a little wrong. It could be them for all we know.
Jonn_
Damn R.I.P. Seen some people immediately looking for ways to connect it to Islam, with no evidence at all. I'm wondering who's behind it, could be religious, could be ultra right wing nutjobs, but why bomb Oslo? Edited July 22, 2011 by Jonn_
EatWar
A friend of mine knew a bunch of people there, and didn't get contact with one of them for a while.. He was quite nervous... But I didn't know anyone there though.. Damn R.I.P. Seen some people immediately looking for ways to connect it to Islam. I'm wondering who's behind it, could be religious, could be ultra right wing nutjobs, but why bomb Oslo? Right wing extremists crossed my mind too.. Taking politics a few steps too far in that case..... Edited July 23, 2011 by funkyweed
mattigummi
i was a little shocked when i saw this on the news, and they said that people from a km (half a mile) away could hear the explosion very well. Did anyone here on the site hear it?
Gnyg
Anders Behring Breivik | Facebook This is the killer. It has been said that he is sceptical to islam, and against multiculturism in one society. So he is not a muslim. He also play Modern Warfare 2.. Well, this is off-topic but now they get a new argument against video games...

Maybe he was the target. Sad to see this kind of thing happen.
EatWar
From everything Iv read on it they speculate Islamic terrorist which wouldn't be that much of a speculation. They will know soon enough. RIP to the fallen kids. Sad day. The killer, Anders Behring Breivik, is a Norwegian right wing extremist who calls himself a patriot.. He was probably displeased with the immigration politics of the Norwegian labour party or something.. PS: Number of deaths at the youth camp has now risen to at least 80!! BFenris
I've been following this story all day. I knew there would be people killed, but I was really hoping the numbers wouldn't get as high as they did. I hope all the bastards who committed these atrocities are brought to a brutal and swift punishment.
Frode
Waking up to these numbers is just horrible Police now confirm at least 84 people shot on the Island.
HaoleDave
I was so surprised because Norway is one of the nicest places on Earth. I mean seriously, if they see a homeless guy on the street, they go up and say "Are you alright??" That's how caring these guys are. I know the guy who did it was a Norwegian, so it's possible it was a right wing nutjob since it was at a "political" summer camp.
Gnyg
The killer is christian. What a shock. And it's maybe two killers.

EatWar
A total of 91 people killed and a lot more wounded in hospital, that's about 7 times more than the Columbine Massacre...!
EEHHHHHH
The thing that surprised me the most was that the number of dead from the shooting incident was a lot more higher than the number from the blast. Such as sad day. My heartfelt condolences to all the families involved.
funkyweed
Very sad news. My thoughts are with the victims, families and Norwegian people.
steviej
Belgian press profiles the killer: "right-winged fundamentalist Catholic, who enjoys violent video games"... Seriously, is it that hard to just call an evil nutjob what he is: an evil nutjob.
Nille
When I first heard the news I also thought it might would have been the Al-Qaida. Very sad, have anyone heard anything about the second suspect who got arrested earlier today with a knife on him? I feel for all of you in Norway. May they R.I.P. Seriously, is it that hard to just call an evil nutjob what he is: an evil nutjob. I personally think it is good they identify him, if it was a Muslim or a Communist who did it then they would never stop mentioning it, should get the same attention every other terrorist gets. Anyone noticed that the word 'terrorist' is being used minimally in the media? That's because he isn't a Muslim. Regardless of race, religion & ethnicity, this murderer is a fucking coward. Zetberg
From what I heard, the police reached the island 2 hours after the shooting started. I wonder why it took them so long. Anyway, my thoughts go to all Norvegian people.

matlock49g
WTF! As i'm typing this, this is my first time hearing this story. The world is really sick right now. Evil seems to be winning. STUDENTS!? REALLY!? The ignorance of these xenophobe's is absolutely amazing. I have this phrase i use when referring to such people here; "Never underestimate the ignorance of your fellow Americans". Unfortunately "these types" exist the world over. *NOTE* This is one of the great things about PS3T.ORG, even when you don't pay much attention to the "news", the membership here keeps you up to date and informed. Keep up the Good Work people.
Zetberg
From what Ive read all the police was where the bomb went off. Makes sense. By the way, is the guy also the bomb maker ? If this man used the bomb as a 'decoy', that's really scary.

They are not sure if he had someone else with him. Someone saw two shooters. Edited July 23, 2011 by workadaybollis
