TokyoQ
Just wondering why I can't find this game listed on here?
Cornagandarub
Probably because it doesn't have trophies?
Shidasan
Not just probably. It doesn't have trophies. And be happy that it doesn't!
TokyoQ
Not just probably. It doesn't have trophies. And be happy that it doesn't! But even games without trophies (MGS4, Valkyria Chronicles) still come up and there are forums and all that. This is the only one that I know of that exists but doesn't come up at all. Shidasan
I'm pretty sure that it did come up. The games that you listed don't have their own sub-forum either (including AC1). What i still can't understand is, why doesn't Eternal Sonata have trophies? The game got ported to the ps3 way after it had the trophy system and it had Achievements on the Xbox360 (i know, i had most of 'em -_-). Just don't forget that those 3 games (MGS, Valkyria Chronicles and AC1) are alot more popular and thus people talk about it more often.
NovaSD
No trophies sucks, I completed the 360 version but I know the ps3 version has more content. If it had trophies I would definitely complete it again.

Eternal Sonata was released in North America late 2008 when trophies were not mandatory, if I recall it did not get an EU release by Namco until early 2009. So it was one of the one of those games that already made it under the wire before the trophy mandate.
Xander45
Great game, i played through it again a few months back. Love the way the battle system evolves through the chapters.

At that time most of the games i got had trophies (except Disgaea 3). Edited September 30, 2011 by Shidasan
TokyoQ
Yeah, I found the battle system quite fun and addictive. I also thought it was a good length, unlike some other RPGs which are just long for the sake of it.
Terminator
It's a damn good game, I just wish I had more time to play it .
Shuffle
I really enjoyed Eternal Sonata/Trusty Bell and still have my PS3 copy of the game. I do however wish it had trophies.
Rogkun
Man, all this talk of Eternal Sonata reminds me of Salsa so much. "Soulurr Flayurr!!" That was actually a pretty great game- it was just so short. I also kinda wish it had trophies. Would have been interesting to collect.
Azgard12
I'd buy it if they patched in trophies.
Ryukori
Eternal Sonata does not have trophies. I wish the game did, though. I beat it to 100% so trophies for the game would've been nice.
Puzzler
Eternal Sonata is a brilliant game, I played it on 360. I might actually pick this up again for PS3 at somepoint, not fussed that it dosn't have trophies. What's the extra content that the PS3 version has?? stgermain
What's the extra content that the PS3 version has?? If I remember correctly, the PS3 has two additional characters, a few extra dungeons, the treasure chests are a bit different, and you gain less experience points. Sounds interesting, really tempted to pick this up again. How would they integrate the new characters into the story? Surely they would have to re-do so much of it? They're already in the original story.

Anyone sitting on the fence about this one, should definately give it a go.
