This thread is where you'll find the lists for the top 10 Best Single Player Games, Best Multiplayer Games, Best PSN Games and the top 10 games with the Easiest Trophies.

The nomination process is as follows:

Every month, for each of the four lists, each member is encouraged to nominate 10 games in order depending on the list. Here is an example, using the Best Single Player Games list, and how the nominations are scored:

1. BioShock (10 points)

2. Metal Gear Solid 4 (9 points)

3. Uncharted (8 points)

4. Ratchet & Clank (7 points)

and so on. It's best if each member nominates 10 games, rather than 5 or 1, but you may not nominate more than 10 games. After 10, the games will be ignored. Also, they must be PS3 games, and make sure you're nominating the games for the correct list.

At the end of every month, each nomination list will be recorded, and each game's score will be added to the total, which makes up the list of 10 games.

The nomination threads can be found here:

Easiest Trophies: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/games/9922-games-you-should-buy-easiest-trophies-nominations.html

Best Multiplayer: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/games/9920-games-you-should-buy-multiplayer-nominations.html

Any suggestions about specific lists should probably be left to the nomination threads, and we'll keep this thread for discussing the results. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

1. (1)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/8/ico.pngUncharted: Drake's Fortune

The first full game to feature trophies, and one of the most common Platinum trophies in people's collections. A mix between simple collecting and a certain number of kills with each gun take up the bulk of the list, and a couple of playthroughs with varying difficulty will result in a Platinum.

My take:Don't confuse easy with quick in this case. While there's nothing overwhelmingly difficult about Crushing mode, it's going to take the average person a while to get the Platinum, so if you're looking for a weekend rental just for trophies, this probably isn't your game.

2. (2)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/85/ico.pngSonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection

One of the easiest Platinum trophies available. You'll get most of the trophies in this game almost accidentally, with the only real challenge coming from Columns and Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. If you can get through those, you just got yourself a Platinum.

3. (3)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1/ico.pngBurnout Paradise

Another game for Platinum hunters and trophy boosters alike. Playing through the game's various challenges will get you most of your trophies, with minimal coordination with other online players to get the rest. The necessity for a Playstation Eye will bother some people, as will the DLC trophies, which will take away your 100%

mycuccismells:"The trophies come naturally and dont require you to grind wins either offline or online. Playstation Eye is the only thing that has kept me from platinum for months"

4. (4)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/88/ico.pngWWE Legends of Wrestlemania

If you're desperate for Platinum trophies, this is the game for you. One could 100% this game in an 8 hour period. This game probably would have received more votes if the game wasn't lacking in so many other areas.

5. (5)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/70/ico.pngFallout 3

While the trophies are easy to get, this game can be incredibly time consuming. Depending on your method, you can get the Platinum in one incredibly thorough playthrough, but this game is so good, you probably won't mind playing it again and again.

6. (6)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/14/ico.pngLittleBigPlanet

This game requires more work than some of the other games on this list, but with help from this site, and some skill, you'll get your platinum. Acing some of the single player levels may take some time and effort.

7. (8)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/112/ico.pngTerminator Salvation

The PS3's version of Avatar, this game has 12 trophies, all of them gold. You can get all of them in one run, and the game is reportedly very easy. You could get the platinum before you could watch a couple Lord of the Rings movies.

JetRudie: I looked at my time stamps on the trophies and the first one I got for the first chapter is around 6:30, the platinum time stamp read somewhere like 11:45. That is ridiculous, cuz I died at least 30 times and the game even froze a couple of times. (It's a bit buggy in places).

8. (7)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/59/ico.pngPrince of Persia

Like Uncharted, a couple playthroughs and some collecting is all you need to get the Platinum. A very common platinum among board members. Keep in mind you won't 100% this game without DLC, and some people have had issued collecting all the Light Seeds, so you may want to check in with the PoP forum before embarking.

9. (10)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/81/ico.pngResident Evil 5

If you played through this game alone, you may be scratching your head at this entry, but by substituting the unreliable AI partner with a friend, and you have not only an easy set of trophies, but an incredibly entertaining experience. It may not by a Resident Evil game in the purest sense, but by tackling the game with a friend, you'll be able to tear through the game's story levels, picking up all the secondary trophies along the way. All that will be left will be getting an S Rank on every level, which may or may not be hard, depending on skill level.

10. (9)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/61/ico.pngAlone in the Dark: Inferno

This game is kind of a trade off. Incredibly easy to platinum, incredibly painful to play. A couple trophies have given people trouble, but overall a rental, although it's pretty hard to recommend spending money on this game.

1. (1)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/23/ico.pngBioShock

In short, this game is unbelievable. One of the best FPS out there, this game is original, atmospheric and at times, creepy as hell. The game has an open world feel to it, allowing you to travel from one area to another, giving you the opportunity to return to the incredible world of Rapture as you see fit, and the combination of traditional weapons and Plasmids forces the player to create a strategy, rather than just run and gun. Impossible mode is more than enough reason to replay the game, as are the PS3-exclusive Challenge Rooms.

2. (2)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/8/ico.pngUncharted: Drake's Fortune

One of the first must have games for the PS3, and this game continues to be one of the best games on the system. An entertaining story, awesome free-climbing platforming, impressive visuals and for those looking for a challenge, Crushing Mode. One of the few games that you can play through repeatedly without getting bored, even if it's only for trophies.

3. (3)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/70/ico.pngFallout 3

This is one of the best single player experiences I've ever had. The story and ending weren't the best, but the freedom you have, and the number of side quests and locations to explore are epic. One of the only games where the way you play the game actually matters. I've easily sunk 50 hours into this game, and unless you have a gun to your head, I'd expect the same for most people. With the five DLC packs incoming, this game should see a resurgence in popularity in the coming weeks.

4. (5)Metal Gear Solid 4

This game drops down the top ten this month, possibly due to frustration over the lack over a trophy patch, which is really the only glaring flaw this game has. The second game to receive a perfect score on many gaming websites last year, this game was made for the fans of the franchise, as the ultimate send-off for one of gaming's most beloved characters. The incredibly long cut-scenes, a staple of the series, and the lack of trophies may deter some people, but they'd be missing out. There are too many features to list here, but fans of the game will tell you, you'll be playing through this game more than once.

Razorhoof78: What the gameplay lacks in terms of action and length, MGS4 is one of the most visually stunning titles available. Awesome storyline. If you've never played any of the previous MG titles, don't worry. Feast your eyes, and demand a trophy patch...

5. (4)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/33/ico.pngGTA IV

Whether you believed the hype or not, this game is one of the best games of last year. Completely overlooking the multiplayer, this game has a deep story, tons of story-related and side missions, a ton of new features and incredible visuals. This game didn't necessarily deserve a 10/10 score, but it's damn close.

6. (6)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/26/ico.pngDead Space

This game is the most terrifying thing you'll endure until they start making virtual reality horror movies. The atmosphere is beyond intense, the weapons and monsters are unique and there are more scares than anything I've played in the last several generations of games. Resident Evil may tell you that horror is dead, but I assure you, in Dead Space, horror is alive and well. The game isn't the longest out there, but you'll love every minute of it.

7. (7)Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

This game may be overlooked, in an age where trophies mean everything, and this site in particular may be quick to cast it aside, but as the few fanatic R&C fans on this site will tell you, you'd be missing out on one of the best single player games on the PS3 if you overlooked this game. Granted, the lack of trophies is disappointing, but the Ratchet and Clank series has never failed to be one of the most entertaining series of games out there. The perfect mix of action, platforming and humour, save this game for when you're taking a break from trophies, or when you're in the mood for awesomeness.

8. (10)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/14/ico.pngLittleBigPlanet

In an age where FPS reign supreme, LittleBigPlanet has proven that platforming is alive and well, and even when stacked up against some of the all-time greats, this game holds its own. Ignoring the massive amount of multiplayer content, this game has a huge number of challenging levels, featuring some of the best platforming, puzzling and the countless mini-levels give you more than enough to keep busy.

9. (9)The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

This game put Bethesda on the map as a AAA developer and lay the groundwork for Fallout 3. In short, it's one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Elder Scrolls fans will argue that Morrowind was better, and the lack of trophies is certainly a disappointment, but the massive number of quests, customization of your character and a decent story make this, at the very least, a must play. For those who have held out this long, the Game of the Year edition is one of the best purchases you could make.

10. (8)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/42/ico.pngKillzone 2

This game had will go down as one of the most anticipated games of this generation, thanks to a jaw-dropping trailer at E3. Many people criticized the use of rendered footage, but when the actual gameplay was shown for the first time, it was pretty damn close to the footage that had brought grown men to tears. The game's story is as deep as you'd expect from a typical FPS, and the game's protagonists weren't the most likable bunch, but the campaign is filled with intense firefights, highlighted by the gorgeous visuals. It's difficult to judge this game while completely excluding the multiplayer aspect, but even on it's own, the campaign for Killzone 2 is absolutely worth experiencing. If you're a FPS fan, you'll love taking the fight to the Helghast.

1. (1)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/42/ico.pngKillzone 2

A game that many, many people will feel should be higher up on this list. Everything about Killzone 2 is awesome, and multiplayer is no exception. Classes, huge levels, and an insane level of customization, the online was described as "Call of Duty 4 meets Halo and Battlefield. There's no reason why this game shouldn't and couldn't be at the top of this list.

2. (2)Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

If you've always liked the Call of Duty games, I probably don't need to tell you about the online for this game, because you're probably playing it right now, but for those who don't, it's awesome. Far more than a basic run and gunner, the multiplayer incorporates a lot of the tactical aspects of the single player, allowing for air strikes and other devastating attacks depending on how your team is doing. The game also features different classes and levels depending on the experience you've gained from playing, giving people more than enough incentive to play all day and night.

3. (3)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/14/ico.pngLittleBigPlanet

In an age where FPS dominate online play, and this list, LittleBigPlanet has done its part to change all that. A huge online community, an endless supply of user-created levels and fun little party games makes this one of the best multiplayer games available, whether you're playing with friends or complete strangers.

4. (4)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/17/ico.pngResistance 2

One of two games fanboys desperately wanted to be the PS3's "Halo Killer," and lucky for them, and the rest of the PS3 community, it came pretty close. Massive 60 player online games, different classes a la Team Fortress 2, and an 8 player online co-op mode make this game a FPS fan's dream. A few more maps and this game will be unreal.

5. (5)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/41/ico.pngCall of Duty: World at War

Call of Duty: World at War is yet another WWII game, and it may not have met the bar that Call of Duty 4 set in terms of single player, but World at War brings something unique to the multiplayer experience. The main online modes are practically identical to CoD 4, but World at War has Nazi frigging Zombies. Up to four players take on endless waves of the undead fascists, with increasing difficulty and improving weapons. Seeing how Left 4 Dead will probably be kept from the PS3, Nazi Zombies may be the next best thing.

6. (6)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1/ico.pngBurnout Paradise

The online multiplayer for this game feels less like the usual "join a lobby, wait for people, play a round, wait," and more like an extension of the single player game. Meeting up with friends is easy, and the amount of customization gives you endless possibility. Playing with strangers can be a pain in the ass however. Just ask anyone who has tried to get 8 people in the stadium without setting it up ahead of time.

7. (7)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/24/ico.pngRock Band 2

This game is fun to play offline by yourself, but it was made to play with a full band, and this game is one of the best ways of doing it. There isn't much to say about this game, because if you like games like Rock Band, you know and love the online, or music games aren't for you. But the sheer number of songs to play give this game the edge over Guitar Hero, in my opinion.

8. (8)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/108/ico.pngUnreal Tournament III

What began as a good multiplayer game has now become an awesome multiplayer game, thanks to the free Titan pack. This intense FPS now has the the Titan and Behemoths to add a new level of strategy and insanity to the various modes, and you'll never have a problem finding a game, thanks to the rabid fanbase. If you've ever played an Unreal Tournament game, or you're just tired of Killzone and Resistance, get this.

9. (N/A)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/55/ico.pngBattlefield: Bad Company

Yet another FPS on the list, but this one comes with the pedigree of the awesome Battlefield games. Keeping with the previous games' success, several features and modes made popular throughout the series, including Conquest mode and the different classes. A game that asks players to get over 10,000 kills has to be good enough to keep players engrossed, and luckily for EA, Bad Company is worth the hours and hours players will invest to get the platinum.

10. (8)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/9/ico.pngWarhawk

One of the PS3's first big multiplayer efforts, with just as big of an online community as it had in it's first months. Since being released, an effort has been made to try to ease the steep learning curve, adding an offline tutorial for the three different modes of transportation. Once you have a handle on the game, Warhawk is fun, frantic action, featuring battles on foot, behind the wheel and in the sky. As mentioned before, the online community for this game is huge, and the 3 big add-on packs keep things feeling fresh, adding jetpacks, huge armored aircraft and new maps. Get some friends together, make a clan and start learning how to fly, and don't forget the chaff.

1. (1)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/13/ico.pngSuper Stardust HD

Hands down the best PSN game out there, according to the votes. The first game to receive trophies, this game takes every other twin stick shooter and bends it over. Incredible visuals, lots of different single and multiplayer modes (including the DLC), a customizable soundtrack and some of the hardest trophies out there.

2. (2)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/95/ico.pngFlower

One of the most beautiful games on the PSN, this game is very simple in design, but something far more in implementation. One of the best uses of Sixaxis out there, if you have an HDTV, you need to experience this.

3. (3)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/11/ico.pngPixelJunk Eden

Someone on this site put it best when they said this game was the most relaxing, the most frustrating game they'd ever played. An unusual control scheme that takes getting used to, the game is certainly a challenge, with funky audio/visuals. With a new level pack on its way, now is the perfect chance to jump on the Grimp bandwagon. Or Grimpwagon.

4. (4)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/58/ico.pngBurn Zombie Burn!

As the name implies, there are zombies, and you must burn them. A unique take on the twin stick shooter, this is a frantic, endless barrage of zombies that need burning, putting your own life in jeopardy. This game has been rapidly gaining a following since its release.

5. (5)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/21/ico.pngWipeout HD

This game is easily missed, maybe because its the only full game unavailable on a disc, but it's one of the best racing games available, both in content and visually. Amazing sense of speed, lots of awesome tracks and some challenging trophies. If you feel like a tough guy, try to get the Beat Zico trophy, and then quiver in shame.

6. (6)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/57/ico.pngPixelJunk Monsters

An awesome, stylized tower defense game. Amazing amount of content for a PSN game, and the trophy challenges will have you coming back. If you've played trophy defense Flash games, you'll like this game.

7. (Tie)(7)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/10/ico.pngPain

Again, this game isn't for everyone. If you've never played it, however, or if you only played it a couple times when it first came out, you need to at least try it. The amount of content in the game has quadrupled since its first release, and the trophies range from being difficult and time consuming to face-punchingly hard, if you're looking for a challenge. Plus, you get to throw David Hasslehoff and Andy Dick into brick walls. Name me another game that does that.

7. (Tie)(7)Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty

This game finally makes its way into the top ten, and definitely deserves the recognition. The first download-only edition of the R&C franchise, this game features all the awesomeness of the disc games, in a more compact form. mjc0961:"I think it's a great PSN game as you get enjoy more of the suburb platforming elements of the series, and you still have a few of the awesome firefights in there as well for those who really enjoy them (and really really liked Deadlocked)."

9. (9)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2/ico.pngNoby Noby Boy

Now I'll admit, this game isn't for everyone. No, there isn't a point, or objectives, or an end. It's just a little wormy guy who can stretch around a series of fairly empty levels, eating things and growing. You'll either play the game for 5 minutes for the easy trophies and delete it, or you won't be able to put it down. Noby Noby Boy comes from the mind that brought us Katamari Damacy, but don't expect anything quite as awesome.

10. (N/A)http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/75/ico.pngLumines Supernova

A unique spin on the old Tetris-style puzzle game, Lumines was a massive hit on the PSP before making the transition to the PSN. Funky visuals, a great soundtrack and a host of different challenge modes, this game is easy to pick up and hard to master, but it's always fun.

You definitely put a lot of time into this and Im glad I could help.

Are these in just any order, or is one supposed to be the easiest/best/etc? Because if they're ranked, I have to respectfully question your decision to say that Uncharted is an easier Platinum than Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection.

Not looking for a fight, just the reason why that decision was made. :)

Not looking for a fight, just the reason why that decision was made. :)

The order these are in is the result of how people voted. I personally agree that Sonic is an easier platinum, but Uncharted received more nominations, and those nominations were higher up the list. An argument has been made that the MBM and Columns trophies have given enough people trouble, which is why I gave each game a write-up, to try to explain what each game involves, so people don't go buying Uncharted thinking its a cake walk, or that MBM and Columns are 30 second trophies. But like I said, my opinions on the games didn't factor in, aside from my voting like everyone else who participated. If the results seem off, perhaps next month they'll be corrected with the new votes.

In response to iron_granny's question, Oblivion would've come in 14th place, which should give you an idea of how many people nominated it. I should hope that will change for next month. Also, the next time I update this I'll probably add an "Also Receiving Votes" section with a couple games for each list, so people have an idea of what just missed being listed.

Am I the only person that doesn't see the point of this thread if it's not sticky? It's at the very bottom of the page right now, I'll bump it, but it won't last long that way. It's not gonna help anyone/reduce the umber of 'what should i get for my grandma's birthday' thread, if it's almost invisible..
