Overview:

-Estimated Trophy difficulty: 4.72/10

Offline: 44 (28 (B), 12 (S), 3 (G), 1 (P))

Online: 0

Approximate amount of time to Platinum: About 19 hours if two playthroughs only:

- 12 hours on your first playthrough going for the Master Agent trophy, plus about 7 more

hours on your second playthrough. Possible you will need a third playthrough if you miss

the Master Agent trophy, so be very careful when going for that trophy.

-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2

-Missable trophies: It's possible to miss the Master Agent trophy even when you are going for it if you miss even a few rooms so be careful.

-Do Cheats Disable Trophies?: Yes

Walkthrough:

You're going to have to play through the game twice, so you need to focus on a few trophies each time.

First Playthrough:

On your first playthrough play on either Easy or Normal, take your time and go for the Master Agent trophy, collect all 50 Silver Data Discs, and the 80% accuracy trophy.

You should also try to get all the "100 Kills with Weapons" trophies on this first playthrough. None of them are overly difficult, just try to use them often enough and you will usually get ammo for the weapon you are using out of crates/boxes (do not buy ammo with your chips as this will most likely prevent you from having enough chips for the Master Agent trophy). Be sure you buy weapons as soon as they are available in the game so you can get the 100 kills with them and then move on to new weapons as soon as possible or back to a weapon you feel more comfortable with so you can more easily get the 80% accuracy trophy. Remember to let the computers that spit out little spider monsters keep spitting them out before you kill the computer as you can get a lot of kills on the spiders. If you do miss any of the 100, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough, but remember you will be rushing through on your second playthrough and the enemies will be harder on the hardest difficulty. So since you are taking your time so much on this first playthrough, it makes sense to just get all these out of the way so you don't need to worry about them on your second playthrough.

Second Playthrough:

If done correctly and you didn't miss any of the important trophies (like Master Agent, if you missed Master Agent you will have to play the game 3 times), on your second playthrough you should only need to get Distinguished Service Medal and G-Force Rapid Response Agent trophies, plus any weapon kill trophies, if you missed any.

Start your second playthrough on Special Agent difficulty and you will need to go for the "Beating the game in under 8 hours" trophy. It may seem more difficult to go through that fast on the hardest difficulty, but you will know what needs to be done in every area since you have already played through once. Spend your chips on ammo if you need it. You will get all the guns by getting the Gold Data Discs which can't be missed, but you will probably miss a good bit of the Silver Data Discs, however that shouldn't be a problem because you don't really need all the upgrades they provide in this playthrough.

If for some reason you missed the 80% accuracy trophy in your first playthrough you will need to get it in this playthrough, and since you will be rushing through it may be more difficult to take your time and aim on enemies carefully, so do try to be extra careful for that trophy on your first playthrough.

Trophy Guide:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/22.jpgBig Spender (B) Spent more than 10000 SaberSense chips at kiosks.

You will get this as you are going for the Master Agent trophy. Simply buy stuff (ammo capacity and character upgrades only if going for Master Agent) and you will get this trophy fairly early on in the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/24.jpgTooled-Up Agent (B) Purchased all new weapons and weapon upgrades (excluding ammo capacity)

You will get this after you collect the last gold data disc and buy the item from the vending kiosk if you have already bought all the previousweapons unlocked through gold data discs. You cannot miss gold data discs in the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/26.jpgCombat Trainee (B)

100 enemies defeated

You will get this just playing through the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/27.jpgCombat Expert (B) 500 enemies defeated

You will get this just playing through the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/29.jpgPlasma Gun Expert (B) Defeated 100 enemies with Plasma Gun

The Plasma Gun is one of your starting weapons and you will get this trophy just playing through game and early in the game. However, if for some odd reason you don't get the 100 kills in your first playthrough, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/30.jpgCluster Rifle Expert (B) Defeated 100 enemies with Cluster Rifle

The Cluster Rifle is a fast shooting gun. It's the second gun you get in the game so you will have it early on and it holds alot of ammo. If you don't get the 100 kills in your first playthrough, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/31.jpgFlame Thrower Expert (B) Defeated 100 enemies with Flame Thrower

The Flame Thrower is one of the last weapons you get in the game. Make sure to use it on the spiders that slow you down that the computers throw out at you, and don't kill the computer until you have run out of Flame Thrower ammo. Always use the ammo when you have it and you should have this on your first playthrough. If however you don't get the 100 kills in your first playthrough, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/32.jpgFreeze Gun Expert (B) Defeated 100 enemies frozen by the Freeze Gun

Once you've unlocked and bought the Freeze Gun just freeze enemies and then kill them with the Electro Whip. Some of the easiest enemies to freeze are any of the small, crawling enemies, like the spiders sent out by the computers. If you don't get the 100 kills in your first playthrough, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/33.jpgShot Bolter Expert (B) Defeated 100 enemies with Shot Bolter

The Shot Bolter is very effective against small flying enemies like the Air Fresheners and Shavers. This is one of the best weapons in the game so you shouldn't have a problem getting this trophy. If you don't get the 100 kills in your first playthrough, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/34.jpgIncendiary Charge Grenadier (B) Defeated 50 enemies with Incendiary Charges

You get to use Incendiary Charges by attacking the Incendiary Charge distributers that are in the game. When you are near one be sure to try to kill enemies close by with a charge as there aren't many of these throughout the game. There is a part in the game where you can continuoulsy respawn a Fire Extinguisher that is very close by to the charges. Activate the Fire Extinguisher, kill it with a charge, then repeat as many times as the Fire Extinguisher will respawn. Eventually it will stop spawning (after about 20 times). But that is still 20 free kills with the charges and some extra chips if going for the Master Agent trophy. (Note: Once the Fire Extinguisher quits spawning you will need to melt some ice to progress, you can just throw a charge at it to melt it since the Fire Extinguisher isn't spawning anymore.) If you don't get the 100 kills in your first playthrough, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/35.jpgRDV Pulse Cannon Expert (B) Defeated 50 enemies with RDV Pulse Cannon

Fire R1 while in the driving missions to kill enemies and get this trophy. If you don't have this after the last driving mission (there are only two) save in a new spot and load the save that starts the driving mission level and keep doing that until you get this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/36.jpgRDV Homing Missile Expert (B) Defeated 50 enemies with RDV Homing Missiles

Fire L1 to target an enemy and then again to kill the enemy for this trophy. If you don't have this after the last driving mission (there are only two) save in a new spot and load the save that starts the driving mission level and keep doing that until you get this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/37.jpgNanoHack Expert (B) Defeated 50 enemies using NanoHacked enemies

Some good enemies to Nanohack are the flying ones when there are smaller enemies on the ground. If you just remember to use this whenever you have ammo for it it shouldn't be a problem getting this on your first playthrough. However if you don't get the 100 kills in your first playthrough, the kills will carry over to your second playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/8.jpgMission Accomplished: "Assembly Lines" (B) Progression

This trophy will unlock after stopping the plant from making more appliances. Head towards the exit and get on the lift and the trophy will unlock soon after.

*If you didn't get the trophies for 50 kills with RDV Pulse Cannon and RDV Homing Missile then be sure to save in a new save spot and then reload the save you had that was at the start of this mission to get those two weapon trophies as this is the last RDV mission in the game.

You recieve this trophy after defeating the satellite.

*This is the second to last level of the game, but this is the last level that you will play as Darwin so if you don't have the "Marching Agent: Walk more than 20km with Darwin" trophy make sure to walk around some and get it before completing this mission.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/8.jpgMission Accomplished: "Clusterstorm" (B) Progression

After making your way to the end of the last level with Mooch and beating Clusterstorm's core system you will unlock this trophy and the ending cutscene of the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/19.jpgG-Force Special Agent (S) Completed game on Special Agent difficulty setting

This difficulty will unlock once you beat the game on Easy, Normal, or Challenging difficulty. You then need to beat the game on Special Agent difficulty to get this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/20.jpgSilver Data Disk Discoverer (S) Collected 50% (25) of all Silver Data Disks in the game

See "Silver Data Disk Expert"

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/23.jpgWealthy Agent (S) Accumulate more than 5000 SaberSense chips

You need to have 5,000 chips on you at one time, so the easiest time to do this is at the start of the game. Simply don't buy anything until you get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/25.jpgMaster Agent (S) Fully upgraded character with all possible weapons and upgrades

This is one of the hardest trophies in the game. You need to be very thorough and search everywhere. Always send Mooch up into vents you can't reach, check up on the hanging lights in rooms, try not to skip any areas. For instance there is an area where Speckles will tell you he thinks he knows a shortcut, and if you choose not to go that way the door will not open when you come back and you will not be able to get the chips from the enemies and boxes in that area when you come back.

There are chips in boxes in the training level, don't miss those.

Make sure you kill every enemy, don't skip any. This includes the satellite dishes that just block your path with a red wall and every enemy that drops chips. The only one that doesn't drop chips is the small spiders that slow you down. If you kill an enemy that is far away send Mooch to grab the chips or try to pull it in by holding R1.

Sometimes when you die and there are chips you haven't collected from enemies they will not be there when you respwn. I'm not sure but this only happened sometimes, so just be careful to try to always grab chips as soon as you beat an enemy even if you're still in the middle of a fight.

*Here is an alternative way to getting the Master Agent trophy. Thanks to Roughdawg4 for submitting this tip:

"I noticed in my Super Agent game that when I used plasma like crazy, it dropped plasma. So I thought, what if I didn't use any guns and only my whip so my ammo was always full. Well since I don't use ammo (most of the time), I get nothing but chip drops. I should easily have 40,000 by the end of the game and no extra farming is necessary, just try to kill everything with your whip.

These are the only things I didn't kill with my whip (forgive me I don't know names):

The Fans

The machine with the shield and laser

And the 2 big flying machines (one shoots projectiles and the other missles).

Everything else use your whip. And remember you have 10 lives on easy mode so you can afford to die a few times."

One note if you do decide to go this way: Make sure that you are extra careful when you do use your guns as you should be going for the 80% accuracy trophy also, and if you are mostly using your whip you will need to be extra careful to miss as few shots as possible with your guns. Remember, 80% is 8 out 10 shots that need to hit, so you do need to be as careful as possible.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/28.jpgCombat Veteran (S) 1000 enemies defeated

You will get this just playing through the game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/38.jpgSharp Shooter (S) Achieved an average hit rate of at least 80% with projectile weapons

Make sure to take your time when attacking with projectile weapons. Always attack the satellite dishes that put up a red wall blocking your path with a gun based weapon (not the whip) as they don't move and so are very easy targets.

The Shot Bolter is good against smaller flying enemies like the Electric Shavers and the Air Fresheners since it has a wide range and even if you don't hit directly on the enemy, if you're close it will most likely still hit since this weapon has a good spread.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/39.jpgMarching Agent (S) Walk more than 20km with Darwin

You should have this by the end of the game, but if you don't just walk around in the second to last level until you do unlock it. (In the very last level you will not be able to play as Darwin, so you need to this before you start the last level.)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/40.jpgG-Force Wings (S) Fly more than 2km with Mooch

You should have this by the end of the game, but if you don't just fly around in the last level until you do unlock it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/41.jpgIntelligence Expert (S) Scan 100 items in the game

This means 100 unique items. Make sure to scan every new enemy you encounter, all doors (locked/unlocked, wood, etc.), all types of boxes, special game items like silver and gold data discs, keycard, and anything you have to pick up in order to progress, all types of ammo and health, etc. If you do this from the start of the game you should have this midway through if you don't miss much.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/42.jpgG-Force Trainee (S) Completed game on Easy difficulty setting

See "G-Force Agent"

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/43.jpgG-Force Recruit (S) Completed game on Normal difficulty setting

See "G-Force Agent"

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/44.jpgG-Force Agent (S) Completed game on Challenging difficulty setting

Beat the game on Challenging. These trophies stack so if you play through on Challenging first you will also unlock beating the game on Easy and Normal. If on your first playthrough you play on Easy or Normal you will unlock this trophy when you complete your second playthrough on Special Agent difficulty.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/03.jpgDistinguished Service Medal (G) Completed game twice

You will have to play the game a second time anyways to beat the game on Special Agent difficulty which unlocks after you beat the game once on any difficulty.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/99.jpgG-Force Rapid Response Agent (G) Completed game in under 8 hours (on any difficulty setting)

Do not go for this and Master Agent on the same playthrough. To get this try to run past as many enemies as possible, unless of course you have to beat the enemies for the next door to open. If you take awhile to beat a certain area reload the last checkpoint and try again (of course remember to manually save each checkpoint when you get one also).

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/21.jpgSilver Data Disk Expert (G) Collected 100% (50) of all Silver Data Disks in the game

See this guide by erod550 at xbox360achievements.org for a complete walkthrough of all 50 data disc locations. Remember that you have to get all 50 silver discs to be able to buy everything for the Master Agent trophy so don't miss one.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/177/01.jpg100% Complete! (P) You have unlocked every other trophy

This will unlock when you get all the other trophies.

agreed there. Are you sure it only takes 12 hours? if that is accurate, i will rent this for sure

I'm not sure who said 12 hours, but i don't think is actually even possible. It's at least 6 probably 7 for "beating the game in under 8 hours" and there's no way you're gonna get the master agent trophy in less than 7 hours. So that's at least 14 hours minimum. But I still think it would take a few longer than just 7 or 8 to get master agent, you really have to take your time and break every box, fly everywhere, search every room and nook and cranny, fight every monster. It just takes time. So more like 18-19 hours I think. Still rentable though.

I posted this in another thread but I figured I would post it here for the guide as well

Okay so I too fell victim on the first run falling short about 1k chips. I am a true explorer and missing 1,000 is alot since you get chips by 10 and 25.

I played a different way, without farming, and I have now reached 32,000 points and I just reached the FBI Courtyard (Disc#34).

I noticed in my Super Agent game that when I used plasma like crazy, it dropped plasma. So I thought, what if I didn't use any guns and only my whip so my ammo was always full. Great guide.

Would it be wise to do this:

First playthrough, Go for all weapon trophies, disc trophies and Master agent trophy.

Second playthrough, play on the hardest difficulty and beat the game under 8hours.

This way it should bag my 2 playthrough platinum right?:)

First of all great guide.

(B)Incendiary Charge Grenadier

Defeated 50 enemies with Incendiary Charges

For anyone wanting to make sure they get this trophy in their first playthrough, so they can speed through the second.

When you are in the chip manufacturing section. After shutting down phase one and heading to phase two, you will come across a microwave oven with a vent to your left that spawns spiders. One will be sucked in to make a red spider, shoot that to get a charge, then wait a second for the next spider to get sucked into the microwave. as it reaches the door another will come out the vent. just rinse and repeat till the trophy pops in roughly five - ten minutes. hope this helps.

Just thought I'd post a few things I discovered while getting Platinum for this game that I think should be added to your guide. I hope you agree:)

Master Agent - Fully upgraded character with all possible weapons and upgrades

Forget that only use your whip stuff. I used my whip on nearly every enemy, searched every room and if I hadn't done what I'm about to describe I would've come up 500 chips short.

While playing the game I discovered 2 ways to get Unlimited Chips so you can guarantee your gonna have enough.

Unlimited Chips 1:

In the level Saber Mansion: Exfiltration you will have to rescue Blaster from the elevator by activating a terminal so the swat team can take out the shreddar trapping him. There will be a timer at the top of the screen. Go into the next room kill the 3 optical mice and get the chips they drop. Then go through the vent into the next room. Kill the 3 optical mice and a blender then get the chips they drop. Next get the chips in each corner of the room then go through the vent into the next room and get the chips in each corner of the room. Now do not activate the terminal just let the timer run out. You will keep all the chips you got and will be able to do it all over again. Although you lose a life when the timer runs out technically you didn't die so that is why you get to keep any chips you obtained. When you get to your last life get killed immediately and continue. The reason you want to kill yourself on your last life is because you won't keep the chips obtained on your last life. Thanks to unlimited continues you can do this over and over to get as many chips as you want.

Unlimited Chips 2:

Do not buy the Nanohacker. When you get to the level with all the vacuums where you need to get the Nanohacker v2. After you pickup the Gold Data Disc for the Nanohacker v2 if you have under 1700 chips (the price of the Nanohacker) saber optical mice will endlessly come out of the vent near the kiosk until you have 1700 chips. So this is useful if all the stuff you need to buy is 1700 chips or less. Just upgrade all your stuff and then buy the Nanohacker. Once you buy the Nanohacker the mice will continuously come out until you have 700 chips the price for the Nanohacker v2 upgrade. As soon as you buy the Nanohacker v2 upgrade they will stop coming out.

I personally didnt use the second method (I used the first method) to upgrade my weapons so it may require further testing to make sure it's actually useful.

Sharp Shooter - Achieved an average hit rate of at least 80% with projectile weapons

I suspect this is supposed to read "with ALL projectile weapons". I was doing my G-Force Rapid Response Agent and Sharpshooter at the same time. I only used the Plasma Rifle and I know for a fact I had 100% hit rate at the end of the game because if I missed one shot I reloaded and started again. So when I got to the end of the game and didnt get the trophy I was kinda confused. I searched around the net and came to the conclusion from a post on another forum that you need to use all projectile weapons. Luckily I had made a save at FBI Rooftop for weapon kill boostin. I was able to buy all projectile weapons and use them and when I made it to the end of the game I got the trophy this time.

If you wanna make sure you get master agent trophy there is something that could work for you as well. Before u buy any new wepon from kiosk make save. Buy i gun used it till the trophy pop up u can reload if you run out of ammo. Kills for me was accumulating despite i reload the game. after u get trophy don't buy that gun so u get more chips from kills. Works on spender trophy aswell at least for me. If somebody will test it can you post it if it works for u as well. thanks
