Fuse is Insomniac Game's newest and first multi-platform game. Fuse is a 4 player co-op game best played in co-op with 1-3 other friends. The game revolves around missing alien technology that happens to be the most advanced energy source on Earth.

You play as members of the elite Overstrike 9 team, your mission is to hunt down and procure the stolen alien technology. Each member of the Overstrike 9 team possesses a unique skill: brute force, stealth, healing, and sniping. Coordinate tactical strikes with ultra-high-tech Fuse-powered weapons in a rich co-op story built for up to four players. Upgrade and combine weapons for even more massive attacks, and use the LEAP feature to instantly switch between team members during battle.

http://i.imgur.com/ekhLpjo.png

Important Notes:

  • Character progression carries over through game modes. So, if you level up characters during the campaign they will have their new level and upgrades during Echelon, and vice versa.

  • Most XP is carried over between characters, but not all. Example, say you play only as Izzy until you reach her max rank (35). Then when you start to play as other characters they will already be around level 25 or so. This means you do not have to go from level 0-35 with each character. So getting all characters to max rank and fully upgraded will not be a grind.

  • Fuse tracks chapters and checkpoints completed by the highest difficulty they were completed on. This means after completing the game at least once, you can play the game in any order you choose. So, yes you can complete your Lethal playthrough out of order and in any order you choose. This also means that you cannot go back and only complete the last chapter on Lethal and expect the Overstrike Elite trophy to pop. Progress from all chapters can be tracked from the chapter select screen.

  • Skill points unlock with each level your character levels up. There are 35 levels & 35 total upgrades, so both max level and upgrade trophies are tied to simply getting to level 35 with each character.

  • All collectibles save to your profile. So when you find a collectible it disappears from the game, you wont find it again during subsequent runs. It also wont appear when joining a co-op game, thus you will never have to search for the same collectible twice.

  • The below steps are my recommendation in which order you should play the game. But Echelon mode is where you will get the bulk of your XP and Fuse credits. So, I would suggest you play some Echelon games after your first playthough to level up and max out at least one character before you attempt to complete the game on Lethal or 5 star all Echelon maps. Having higher leveled characters and team perks will make your Lethal run and 5 star attempts less stressful.

Step 1 (Play the Campaign on Hard difficulty & find all collectibles [Playing co-op is optional]):

You will need to complete the campaign on the hard difficulty setting in order unlock Lethal difficulty. There isn't much of a difference between Fuse's difficulty settings, so 'Hard' petty much plays the same as 'Normal' or 'Easy.'

I would suggest you focus on finding all 53 collectibles during this playthrough as well; don't worry if you do not find them all because they carry over to subsequent playthroughs. Use a collectibles guide in the below trophy guide to make this step less tedious. I believe it's best to find the collectibles now, so you can simply focus on surviving and finishing the game during your Lethal playthrough.

I would also suggest you focus on playing as one (your preferred) character during this step. All character upgrades carry over to all game modes so having your favorite character at a high level will make your lethal playthrough and Echelon missions easier to complete.

If playing co-op you will unlock (B)Buddy System and (S)Group Hug during this playthough. Also, during this step you should unlock the following trophies:

  • (B)(H)Groom Lake
  • (S)Missing Persons
  • (B)(H)Bro Code Viloation
  • (S)Cold Turkey
  • (S)Damaged Goods
  • (B)(H)Keep on Truckin’
  • (S)Extraction Specialist
  • (S)Daddy Issues
  • (B)(H)You May Want to Stand Back
  • (S)What a Waste of a Space Station
  • (S)Overstrike
  • (B)Perk-olated
  • (B)Killer Perk
  • (B)Let’s Go Shopping
  • (S)The Inspector

Character specific trophies you may unlock:

  • (B)We’re Gonna Need a Mop while playing as Dalton
  • (B)Chain Gang (of Dead Guys) while playing as Izzy
  • (B)Shots Fired while as Jacob
  • (B)The Geologist while playing as Naya

Step 2 (Play the campaign on Lethal difficulty & attempt all character specific trophies [Playing co-op is optional but preferred]):

If you completed your first playthrough in co-op that's great, hopefully you will have your co-op partner(s) back for this Lethal playthrough. If you didn't have a partner for your hard run then you'll want co-op help to make this step easier. Lethal can be completed without much difficulty playing solo; but because your AI partners will be essentially dead when grabbed by infiltrators or Spec Op soldiers, playing co-op will make this step less tedious.

During this step you should max out whichever character you used during step 1. So, you should probably switch to another character to expedite you getting your max out and fully upgrade trophies, but if you are most comfortable with a particular character, then by all means continue to use them. Your main goal during this step is to complete the game on Lethal.

During this step you should unlock (G)Overstike Elite and possibly any other max out, upgrade, or character specific trophy you haven't unlocked already. If you are not close to maxing out all character don't worry about it, Echelon mode (the next step) is where you will receive the bulk of your XP and Fuse credits.

Step 3 (Play & 5 Star all six Echelon mission - Grind XP and Fuse Credits - Max out & fully upgrade all characters):

It may not seem like it, but this step is the one that you will spend the bulk of your time in (which is good because this mode is very enjoyable).

You may have maxed out one or two of you characters during the preceding steps. Use this step to max out your remaining characters. Echelon mode is the best mode to accumulate XP and Fuse credits. You can also use this step to pick up any missed character specific trophies. If you haven't already you will also unlock (B)That's a Lot of Dead Guys.

During this step your focus should be on unlocking (B)Echelon Specialist and (S)Echelon Agent. Getting 5 stars on all Echelon maps isn't very difficult using a maxed out character and playing with a semi-competent team. Getting 5 stars solo can prove slightly more difficult on certain maps. For more information and tips on Echelon mode please see the Echelon Agent trophy description in the below trophy guide.

Step 4 (Clean-up):

Use this step to clean up any trophies you may have missed. These trophies probably include:

  • (S)Ninja Style
  • (B)Shh... Go to Sleep
  • (B)I'm Your Huckleberry

Use the trophy descriptions in the below trophy guide to find more information on these trophies.

:cluster: After completing all of these steps, congratulate yourself on your new shiny (P) Trophy :cluster:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1066/B7D.jpg Overstrike Elite (G)

Complete all missions on lethal.

Lethal difficulty is unlocked by completing the campaign on the hard difficulty. Note: If you have completed the game at least once on any difficulty, a friend can invite you into their Lethal campaign and you will get Lethal credit for finishing any chapter/checkpoints you finished with them. There is no way "game the system" here. You must complete all six chapters (18 checkpoints) on Lethal to unlock this trophy. The order in which you complete the chapters is up to you.

As mentioned in the road map, there isn’t much of a difference between Fuse’s difficulty settings, thus Lethal is only slightly more difficult than Hard; you take the same amount of damage, but enemies can take a bit more of a pounding before going down. The main difference between the two difficulties is getting grabbed by an infiltrator or Spec Ops soldier is a guaranteed death sentence. If you or your teammate is not saved immediately, then expect and accept an inevitable death screen.

The Lethal playthrough will prove to be easier with a human partner or partners, but by no means is it impossible to do solo. As I mentioned in the above road map, I suggest you play some Echelon missions before tackling this Lethal playthrough. Playing Echelon missions will net you huge amounts of XP and Fuse credits. Try to have a least one maxed out character and leveled up team perk before starting this playthrough to make things easier on yourself.

To follow up on my above point, when you level up a character by playing as them, your other characters level up as well, but not as fast. So, make sure you upgrade the characters you are not playing as because the AI will take advantage of said upgrades if that character is not being played by a human. The Fusion upgrades are the most important, so make your way to them as quickly as possible. Maxed Fusion will make you invincible, and will automatically revive any downed teammates and free any grabbed teammates, as well as give your whole team unlimited Fuse for a short period of time.

Team perks can also be assigned to AI characters, so make sure you set the perks to computer controlled characters. The key team perks you should use for this Lethal playthrough are: Vitality, Last Gasp, and Fuse Maximizer. Your 4th team perk should reflect any goals, i.e. 'XP Multiplier' if you want more XP or 'Banker' if you want more Fuse credits.

Note: You can check your campaign progress by going to Campaign > Level Select. From here you can see which chapters/checkpoints you have completed and on which difficulty they have been completed on.

You unlock the co-op trophies by completing chapters in co-op either 2-player slit-screen or online. Difficulty does not matter. Although it is possible to play solo and run through the game on easy with a second controller handy, I would advise against it. Kill 2500 enemies in Campaign and Echelon.

This trophy is virtually unmissible. You should kill around 2,000 enemies during your two campaign playthroughs. You will kill at least another 3,000 during your Echelon runs. So don’t worry about this trophy; it will pop before you know it.

Please see Valued Customer.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1066/BC6.jpg Valued Customer (G)

Fully upgrade 16 perks in the Team Perks menu.

This will more than likely be the final trophy you unlock before you obtain the platinum trophy for this game. You will need to accumulate 1,090,000 Fuse credits to fully upgrade all the team perks.

Below is a list of all 16 team perks, their level 3 upgrade, and the total cost to fully upgrade them:

[spoiler=fuse22]

Vitality (Increases agent health by +20%) - 60,000

Last Gasp (Bleedout last 9 seconds longer before death) - 60,000

Quickdraw (One-handed weapons augmented with Fuse deal 20% more damage) - 190,000

Fuse Maximizer (Total Fuse capacity increased +20%) - 60,000

Fuse Hoarder (Ammo pickups grant +20% more Fuse) - 60,000

Bullet Hoarder (Ammo pickups give +20% more bullets) - 60,000

Sniper (Deal 20% more damage while scoped) - 60,000

Grenadier (Grenades gain 25% larger explosion radius) - 60,000

XP Multiplier (XP earned increased by 10%) - 60,000

Shield Assassin (Deal 25% more damage to Fuse Shields) - 60,000

Fireproof (Reduce damage from fire and explosions by 20%) - 60,000

Banker (Increases Fuse Credits earned by 10%) - 60,000

Guardian Angel (Rescuing an agent charges up 6% of your Fusion meter) - 60,000

Medic (Revive agents 25% faster) - 60,000

Marksman (Gain 25% chance to regain weapon ammo after headshot kill) - 60,000

Executioner (Enemy takedowns heal you for 50% health) - 60,000

Just like with XP, Fuse credits are best earned in Echelon mode. After finishing up both campaign runs, you won’t have nearly enough Fuse credits to make a dent in trophy, but playing Echelon missions effectively will net you 50,000-80,000 Fuse credits per run.

See this excellent post by Seibei4211 that outlines a great deal of information about Echelon mode and Fuse credits: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/fuse/199885-echelon-info.html. My reply in that thread in case you missed it is outlined in the below spoiler.

[spoiler=fuse33]

  • Max multiplier is X5 ,which you only get if you don't go down for the first 11 waves so your max will be X4 until wave 12. The 12th wave will be at X5, and beating the final 'boss' will net you over $25,000 credits just for that round alone :)

  • This may be play style dependent, but the best map to grind Fuse credits is 'Fuse Reactor - Triton Outpost.' Playing solo with maxed characters I'm able to get nearly $75,000 per run. Playing co-op I maxed out at $65,000 because people stole my loot. Sheng Island is another good map, but the layout can cause some bad moments. Since Fuse Reactor is a big circle every objective is easily done, although retrieval can suck when the snipers come, activate Fusion if you think the snipers are going to take you out.

  • If playing solo or even with a coordinated team, the best 4 team perks to use are vitality, last gasp, fuse maximizer, and either banker or XP multiplier (depends if going for credits or XP).

  • All my high $$$ runs were with Naya. Stealth + melee or heatshots = $$$. But if you play smart, you can get big $ with anyone.

Alternate ‘glitch’ method:

Using the below method can net you this trophy in under an hour (Video Credit to CrispyVictim). It has been confirmed to work on the PS3 version as well. Just use an USB stick and follow the instructions, but saving and loading will be done with the XMB of course. I'll outline how to complete this glitch on the PS3 under the video.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S02jzhBnaaA]Fuse - How to Unlock 'Valued Customer' Achievement [QUICKEST METHOD] - YouTube[/ame]

PS3 Instructions:

  • Copy your game save (with at least 190,000 Fuse credits) to an USB drive or :psn+: (any storage media will do).
  • To copy your save back out to the XMB. Under the 'Game' tab, select 'Saved Data Utility (PS3)' > select your Fuse save, and press :triangle: to open the menu. > Select 'Copy'. > Select the destination (USB drive, etc). > Press :cross: to copy the save.
  • Sign out out PSN by scrolling to the ':psn:PlayStation Network' tab, scroll to the top, press :triangle: on the 'Account Management' option, and then select 'Sign Out.'
  • Boot up Fuse > go to the 'Agent' section. > Select any agent, press :triangle: and then :r1: to go into the 'Team Perks' menu. > Buy all 3 levels of the 'Quickdraw' perk. (You can buy whichever perk you want to first; I suggested starting with Quickdraw because it is the most expensive, costing 130K more than all others)
  • Sign back into PSN by pressing :ps: and then going to the ':psn:PlayStation Network' tab, scroll to the top and select 'Sign in' (You can also sign in by selecting any of the multiplayer game options or checking the leaderboards).
  • You will now connect to the EA servers. The servers will sync with your current save. The EA servers will now register your newly bought fully upgraded perk as maxed.
  • Quit the game by returning to the XMB. Go to 'Game' tab select 'Saved Data Utility (PS3)' > select your Fuse save and press :triangle: to open the menu. > Select 'Delete.'
  • Now select your backed up save file from the USB drive, :psn+: or whatever storage media you used. > Press :triangle: to open the options menu. > Select 'Copy' and press :cross: to copy the save to your PS3.

  • From here you just repeat the above steps until you purchase all of the team perks, but you will need to note all the perks that you've bought because the game will not keep track for you. Once all Team Perks have been bought and you sign in to the EA servers the trophy will pop. Extra: You can use this same process to buy all costumes and gun skins as well.

All characters max out with 1,000,000 XP, which is level 35. As I mentioned in the road map, XP is shared between your characters. Most XP is carried over between characters, but not all. Example, say you play only as Izzy until you reach her max rank (35). Then when you start to play as other characters they will already be around level 25 or so. This means you do not have to go from level 0-35 with each character. So, getting all characters to max rank and fully upgraded will not be a grind. Like me, you may actually max out one character while playing as another.

Once you hit level 35 with a character, and unlock their corresponding trophy go into their skill tree and buy the remaining skills with your final skill points. This will unlock their '2.0' trophy.

XP is shared with your teammates; so, if during the campaign you or a teammate picks up a 500 XP tube, then everyone on your team will receive 500 XP. Same goes for Echelon, all XP bonuses you get for completing waves, etc. will go to all players. You will accumulate XP much faster by playing Echelon missions. You should also note that difficulty does not affect the rate in which XP is gained.

Get 5 Stars on all Echelon maps with 2+ players.

Netting 5 Stars on all 6 Echelon maps is not nearly as difficult as it sounds, but it can prove to be difficult if you attempt them with low level characters and/or poor teamwork. There are only 2 criteria that need to be met in order to 5 Star an Echelon map:

  1. The number of waves you've completed
  2. The time it took to complete those waves.

While there is no confirmed time limit for each map, my hypothesis from my many Echelon runs is that the missions must be completed in under the 25:00 minute mark. The six missions are:

  1. Raven Sub Bay
  2. Deveraux's Hideout
  3. Meilin's Quarters
  4. Fuse Reactor
  5. Tram Station
  6. Raven Facility

The game keeps track of the highest star count you've received in each mission. You'll see your highest ranking on the left side of the screen on the mission select screen.

More Echelon information including developer feedback can be found here: Echelon time bonus etc.....

The key to 5 Starring a map is simple, Teamwork! Players need to revive each other, use separate and efficient team perks like Vitality, Last Grasp, and Fuse Maximixer. The two most important characters are Dalton and Naya. Whoever is playing as Dalton should always protect the objectives by both laying down a deployable shield and using his handheld shield. He should also activate his Fusion and use his Magshield blast to quickly drain the health from enforcers and Fuse-shielded 'Lead' enemies.

Naya is essential for taking out shielded enemies, snipers, completing/protecting objectives. Her maxed out cloaking ability is damn near game breaking. She can easily get behind enemy lines and eliminate the threats, she can open ammo cashes without detection, she can’t be grabbed by infiltrators or Spec Ops soldiers, etc. The only risk she has is Leadshots can still lock on her if she is close enough to them, and all 'Lead' enemies & enforcers can and will melee her dead if she gets to close even if she is cloaked. Jacob and Izzy don’t play key roles, but good players using these characters will make life considerably easier for the Dalton and Naya.

Tips and Keys for Echelon Success:

  • Enforcers are always the priority, followed by seekers, 'Lead' enemies, snipers, infiltrators/Spec Ops, and Fuse fragmented health regenerating soldiers.

  • When protecting/transporting a Fuse Core, if you are within the glowing pulse: All of your Xenotech weapons have unlimited ammo and you have unlimited Fuse for your Fuse ability. During these waves, Naya should always be cloaked, Dalton should always have a shield down, Izzy should throw out a med beacon ever 15 seconds or so, and Jacob should detonate all of his fired arrows.

  • 'Lead' enemies will drop their larger weapons upon death (Flamethrower, Chain gun or Rocket launcher). Do NOT use these powerful weapons on regular enemies. Leave them alone and save them for Enforcers and other 'Lead' enemies.

  • Have Naya cloak and use one of the above mentioned special weapons on said Enforcers and 'Lead' enemies. She could could stand near them and unload all of the ammo of the special weapon into the enemy without being attacked.

  • Naya's shotgun can break the Fuse shields in a few shots. Remember this and have the team save Xenotech ammo.

  • Players can go down and even die but its not recommended. The key factor in getting five stars is completing all 12 waves as quickly as possible. Dying will only hurt your Fuse credit intake and score.

  • Should be obvious but use the turrets on Deveraux's Hideout to take out the Whistlers. The turrets are also great for taking down 'Lead' enemies and seekers.

Eviscerate 3 enemies at once using the MagShield.

This is Dalton’s character specific trophy. Once you level up enough to upgrade his Magshield overcharge capacitor, equip the Magsheild by pressing  on the d-pad. Now approach a group of 3 or more enemies while holding :l1:, and press :r1: to fire. If you were able to kill three enemies with a single shot, this trophy will unlock. There will be countless opportunities to unlock this trophy while playing the game.

This is Naya’s character specific trophy. Naya’s Warp Blast rifle causes a mini black hole if fired into the same normal sized enemy for a long enough time. Equip Naya’s rifle by pressing  on the D-pad; now find a group of at least three human sized enemies, and fire into the center bad guys by holding :r1:. If the Warp blast gets a critical hit, then a black hole will appear and kill everyone around it. There will be countless opportunities to unlock this trophy while playing the game.

Pin 3 enemies within a 10 second period.

This is Jacobs’s character specific trophy. It’s the most annoying character specific trophy because it requires a wall and three enemies within close proximity of it. Equip Jacob’s Bow by pressing  on the D-pad. Now find a group of enemies near a wall, and try to aim for headshots to pin them on the wall behind them; it also helps if you are closer to the enemies rather than far away. You need to pin three enemies to the wall within 10 seconds, so use your eternal clock to gauge how much time you have. There will be countless opportunities to unlock this trophy while playing the game.

Crystallize and kill 3 enemies at once.

This is Izzy’s character specific trophy. Izzy’s Shatter shot rifle causes enemies to freeze in place, allowing them to be shattered. To unlock this trophy equip Izzy’s rifle by pressing  on the D-pad; now find a group of at least three human sized enemies and fire into the center bad guys by holding :r1:. The group of enemies should freeze and raise off the ground; now finish them off by shooting them all causing them to shatter. If you shattered three then the trophy will unlock. There will be countless opportunities to unlock this trophy while playing the game.

Perform a stealth takedown on 2 enemies at once in a co-op game.

Please see Ninja Style.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1066/335.jpg Ninja Style (S)

Stealth takedown 4 enemies at once in a four player co-op game.

To unlock this trophy you will need to play online with 1-3 more players. If you can’t find three players, then you or another player can use two controllers to make up for any missing human players. In fact this trophy can be unlocked with only two players if they are both using two controllers. The key factor here is all four characters must be controlled by a human player.

The best (only) place to unlock this trophy on Chapter 1 – Hyperion Base, checkpoint 2 – Future Proofing. You will come to an area with two ladders and four enemies. Have two players climb the ladders and get into position behind the enemies. Have the other two player move up in cover behind the two center enemies. Once all players have the :triangle: prompt available, start a countdown. Now have all players press :triangle: at the same time. If done correctly you will see the Ninja Style challenge pop up on the bottom right hand side of your screen, and the trophy will soon follow.

Collect every piece of Intel in the game.

There are a total of 53 Intel items in the game. All collected Intel is saved to your profile, and you can check to see which Intel you have collected by checking the “Intel” option in the menus. You can use chapter select and start/join new games, and you will never lose your collected Intel. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t tell you which chapter each Intel is in or how many Intel items are in a particular chapter. For this reason I suggest you pick them up in order.

Use the below videos (in the spoiler tags) to find all Intel items by chapter. A written guide is provided after the videos.

Kill 3 Leadfires, Leadfoots, or Leadshots using only your sidearm.

First off, you do not need to kill three of the same types of 'Lead' enemies for this trophy to unlock. You can kill one of each, two Leadfires and a Leadfoot, three Leadshots, or any combination thereof. The only requirement is you kill three 'Lead' enemies only using your sidearm (Guardian or Dragonfly); you cannot shoot the 'Lead' once with any other weapon or use a grenade. Equip your sidearm by pressing :right: on the D-pad. Try to shoot the 'Lead' in the back where their tanks are, that’s their weak spot.

Your AI partners can use whichever weapons they like as long as you stick to your sidearm. If playing with more than one human, then all human character must only use their sidearms. For some reason if a human player uses another weapon it will void any credit for taking down the 'Lead' with only a sidearm.

It is best to only attempt this trophy while playing the campaign on easy, or killing the first HVT during an Echelon mission, but only if one spawns within the first three waves. The easiest 'Lead' to kill is the Leadfire because it has the shortest range and its flames can easily be put out by tapping :cross: while moving. If going the campaign route, I suggest you kill the Leadfire in chapter 1 three times. He can be found early during the 3rd checkpoint (They Came… They Saw…).

Retrieve your Xenotech Weapons.

Story related, cannot be missed. You will unlock this trophy early on during the first chapter.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1066/150.jpg Keep on Truckin' (B) (H)

Destroy all of the trucks at the bunker defense.

This trophy can only obtained during the third checkpoint of the third chapter (Chapter 3 – Sheng Island, Checkpoint 3 – A Bad Breakup). After you assault the bunker that had two turrets shooting at you, your team will regroup near an elevator. Now your team will be ambushed by a couple helicopters and trucks. Hop on one of the turrets and kill all the enemies coming from behind the chain gate, while destroying the two trucks in the parking lot and the helicopter dropping soldiers off. After a while, two more trucks will pull up to drop off more soldiers. Destroy those trucks to unlock this trophy.

Activate Fusion for the first time.

Essentially unmissible. Eventually, you will level up to the point you will get access to your Fusion powers. You will need your Fusion powers liberally throughout the campaign and Echelon missions. You activate Fusion by pressing  on the D-pad.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1066/D19.jpg Bro Code Violation (B) (H)

Perform a stealth takedown on the Raven soldier at the urinal.

To unlock this trophy you will need to melee kill a poor innocent Raven soldier while he is relieving himself during a hard day’s work. This poor sap is only located during Chapter 2 - Triton Outpost, Checkpoint 1 - Worms In The Apple.

After crawling through a vent, you will fall down into a bathroom where this nice family man with children is simply using an urinal. Walk up behind him and press :triangle: to perform a stealth takedown. Silently killing him will net you this trophy, plus make his wife a widow and his children fatherless.

If you fail to do a silent takedown, or you are playing co-op (only the murderer gets the trophy, so if your partners want the trophy as well), you can choose to die in the room to your right, and the game will reload to just before where you entered the vent.

You know the play time that is for single player only the in game play time it shows for me after 2 runs with collectibles in campaign is 22 hours and that was before i started the Echelon mode and after at least 20 hours in Echelon it still shows 22 hours so shouldn't it be more like a 30-40 hour plat?

Apart from that great work on the guide :applause:

Good point. Looking at my stats I'm at 20 hours for campaign but I went back and helped quite a bit after I finished my Lethal run, I estimate I finished it in about 16 hours. My Echelon time is nearly 20 hours too but I played a ton for fun and to help out after plat. I guess I played closer to 12 hours before I maxed out everything, but I wasted a ton of time trying echelon with a very low level character. Its hard for me to pinpoint my plat time but I will up the estimate.

Great guide! Got a little confused at the end of the glitch method, but figured it out. After you have bought all the perks, you can just stay signed in and boot up Fuse, after doing all the jazz in the guide one more time. Thanks for saving me countless hours of grinding! :D

Just to note, that if you use the glitch to buy all the perks you will have a negative fuse credit balance when you try to buy something else. xD Thus forth, you probably want to unlock everything using this method. Just wanted to let you people know before you do it!

Tried the glitch but trophy didn't pop up. Can override the file or does it only work if I delete the save file then load it?

You can do either or. I suggested delete because its easier. Plus you will not confuse yourself and accidentally overwrite the wrong file.

Anyway the glitch works fine you just need to make sure you are following the steps correctly. You know you are doing it right when you see your credits in the negative when you connect to the EA servers. See what the guy above you wrote:

Not sure if you want to add anything about how splitscreen trophies work for player 2 or not but this is how they work so far. Its incomplete but I'll be updating it when I figure out something new.

When it comes to missions:

You just have to replay one checkpoint in each mission either in single player or as player 1, on the account you're going for it on, in splitscreen in order for the trophy for that mission to pop. The trophy for normal will also pop(probably lethal too, will find out when I get to that point) after that first checkpoint is replayed if you've finished the game as the second player in splitscreen and do this.

Co-Op:

You have to replay a checkpoint as player 1 of the account you're going for the trophy on and it will pop.

Max Level:

You just have to kill something or gain any amount of XP (as the character you're going for the trophy with) in a single player game or as player one on the account you're going for it on and the trophy will pop.

All Upgrades for a Character:

You just have to enter the skillpoint menu (for the character you're going for the trophy with) as single/first player on the account you're going for it on and the trophy will pop, as long as you've already used the last skillpoint as the second player in splitscreen.

Perks:

Works the same as Upgrades and Intel, just enter the Perks menu as player one and the the trophy will pop.

Echelon:

Probably much like the story where you have to finish one with 5 stars (possibly just have to finish, I just did them all as player 1 online, no splitscreen, so maybe someone else can confirm). Also I'd assume that for the 6 rounds and 12 rounds complete with 2+ players would have to be redone completely. If I find an outside source that can confirm how they work I'll update, but otherwise this is the only one I won't be able to confirm.

Intel:

Just enter the intel menu as player one on the account you're going for it on for it to pop (will find out soon).

Misc trophies you just have to redo the requirements on the account you're going for the trophy on to get them. (I.E. Ninja Style has to be done as player 1 on the account you're going for it on to register, ect)

Seems interesting. I'll add it all when you finish it.

The only one I won't be able to confirm how it works is the Echelons, but I would assume that its the same as with campaign levels. Otherwise I'd bet that just going in and viewing levels would pop them if you don't have to outright replay one. Though the "finish 6, and then 12 rounds in Echelon" ones would have to be redone on the profile of the person going for the trophies. It seems to work much like Insomniacs other games when it comes to trophies for a splitscreen player on PS3.
