duck360
I really didn't think this game will suck soo hard ... I thought EA and Insomniac will do something good with graphics but this is just like a SEGA game :S SEGA style ... I really didn't like this game at all , here are some video gameplays for you to see before they remove them ... TriStarKaBoo
How exactly do these graphics "suck so hard"? I think it looks fine. Sure it is not the most brilliant looking game coming out this year, but who cares? I'll take gameplay over graphics any day. Look at Thomas Was Alone, or even classics like Tetris, and original Mario Brothers. Think of Resistance 1- all games that look crap compared to the new games coming out, but all are fun and exciting. Also, I've play a bunch of 'pretty' looking games that completely sucked. What about the latest God of War? Ascension looks nice but is easily the worst in the series. Finally, this is some selective ass video you have here. One clip that is mostly premise setting and you judge it from that? I think you may be a little too jaded sir. EEHHHHHH
What is this "Sega style" if you don't mind me asking?
fancyfox
I think most people buying the game have either already seen past videos or played the demo, so they already know what they're getting into. The only problem will be for those buying it solely on Insomniac being the dev and not looking into the product before hand. I can imagine that select group being disappointed. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you see wrong with the graphics. It looks fine to me.

duck360
I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. What I meant to say is, this game is 'cheap'. You know what that means right? In case you don't know, it means it's not well made from controls from gameplay from graphics and everything. I might have sounded pissed at first, sorry about that, it's because I had high hopes for this game :'( This is my opinion anyway
pskid247
it just looks like a mass effect clone. They even used Liara's voice actor. Im still intrigued and might get it but you can see that EA must have said 'we want it to play more like mass effect' to the devs the same way they did with dead space 3. Jaded
i own it, im impressed good enough for me. only thing its lacking is a vote to kick for afkers in co-op not allowing you to get past some doors requiring all squad members to be there
MikiV6
PMSL. When I read this I nearly wet myself with laughter. Actually, truth be told, I find threads like this quite comical. That statement that the graphics are similar to the early Sega is simply laughable. You cannot make such a comparison as the graphics are superior in all respects. Look at the environmental graphics, pin sharp with a huge attention to detail in everything. Take a close look at the clothing that each of the characters are wearing, everything that they are wearing has been meticulously designed from the bottom up. The amount of work involved and the attention to detail that has gone into creating those graphics is nothing short of phenomenal. Yoda91192 Lolololol playing games for the graphics is like watching porn for the story.. grow up.. Brilliant quote and I have to agree with that statement with one exception, the graphics, to me at least, are important for that overall, Immersive experience when playing a game. But as you said, it's not all about the graphics. As if it wasn't bad enough that the original post said that the graphics were 'Sega' like but to then return and say that the game was 'cheap'.... Seriously, how childish! What age are you 9 and half and 11 days? The only thing 'Cheap' here is your use of language!
poetic_justice_
If you don't like the graphics, you don't like the graphics. Personally, I've purchased the game and played it around 25 hours. The visuals are quite good - not ground-breaking, but richly detailed and flow well. The main issue I have with the game are the clunky sprinting controls. When are developers going to realize that your right thumb cannot hold and move at the same time? This was an issue with Assassin's Creed and now it's an issue in Fuse. It is so obvious even a braindead caveman would see that conflict, yet six years after the PS3's debut, we are still dealing with it. You cannot sprint and turn at the same time because your thumb can only turn or sprint , not both! Insomniac got around that in Resistance 2 by holding to sprint, but is now for grenades. The other issue is the distribution of Fuse credits. Useless players will run from the fight while others carry the load fighting Enforcers and Leadfoots. If the tactical players go down, the lame players will run around collecting all the Fuse credits while downed players get nothing. I think Fuse should have been distributed equally amongst players, but as it is, people who do the most work commonly get less Fuse than the run-around players who don't do anything. Also, whoever gets Naya has a HUGE advantage over everyone else for both keeping her Fuse multiplier alive and collecting hard to reach Fuse credits. Her cloaking ability is the game changer; I can usually go five to ten rounds without going down if I am Naya. I can be self-sufficient. But if I'm any other character, forget it. Lame team players (e.g., Izzy players who NEVER deploy Med Beacons and Daltons who never come close to protecting objectives with their Magshields) constantly cost us matches. I hate to say it, but this game is an epic coop fail when it comes to playing with randoms. People are just so ignorant on what their characters' strengths are they play point-and-shoot instead of tactical gameplay. With friends (or even people with mics) this game can rock, but without either of those factors, be prepared for Suckville.
