Introduction:

Let me just start by saying one very important thing: The trophies on the PS Vita are NOT the same as the trophies on the PS3 counterpart. Some trophies have been changed as apposed to the PS3 version.

Flower is a unique game created by That Game Company, a PlayStation exclusive developer who have created games such as Flow and Journey. In recent news, Flower has been added to the Smithsonian as a video game piece of art. The game involves you playing through the dreams of various flowers and in these dreams you control the wind as you guide a singular flower petal into a petal horde blooming flowers along the way and turning the dream's landscapes green again. The game uses the motion controls of the PS VITA however the game can also be controlled using the touch screen.

Step One - Completing the game:

This game is very easy and calming. There are six stages in the game not including the credits. All you have to do is go through all the stages completing the goals. Unless you've completed this game before of PS3, I do not recommend going for any trophies just yet and focus on completing the game for the start to the credits and enjoy this masterpiece for what it is. However if you choose otherwise and go for all the secret flowers first then you should unlock:

(G) Dream

(B) Stars

(B) Beginning

(B) Discovery

If you are following the trophy guide you should also try to unlock the two hardest trophies in this playthrough:

(S) Urban

(B) Pure

Step Two - Cleanup:

Pretty much every trophy in this game is a miscellaneous trophy and so unless you don't bother with the game and go straight for the trophies it is unlikely you will get them all on your first playthrough. You will have to do a large cleanup by selecting levels. After this cleanup you should have the trophies:

(B) Memories

(B) Palette

(B) Wind

(B) Illumination

(B) flOw

(B) Welcome Back

(B) Healthy Play

Step Three - Nature Trophy

This will most likely if not definitely be your final trophy, this trophy is not hard but you WILL have to grind for it. (See "Nature" trophy). By completing this step you will have:

(S) Nature

Beyond all flowers lies another room.

This trophy is the 'collectibles' trophy. This trophy involves collecting all 3 secret flowers in each stage (excluding the credits level). This flowers are a cyan colour and need to be found or spawned in some way.

Level 1

1: The first secret flower will be spawned when you bloom ALL the pink flowers in the first stage. Do not follow the yellow flowers up the hill and instead go to bloom every pink flower in this area. After collecting all the pink flowers the camera will pan and show you where the secret flowers have spawned.

2: In the second area you must again collect all the pink flowers, do this before healing the area and turning it green as the brown grass patches should help you find the pink flowers dotted around the edges of the area. The camera will pan to the middle of the area again and show the flowers spawning.

3: Before collecting all the flowers, go around the far edges of the area going around the tree in a circle, the secret flowers are found behind a large rock behind the tree.

Level 2

1: Collect all the yellow and red chains of flowers, after doing this the field will turn green and the secret flowers will spawn left of the end of the green patch when facing the rock wall.

2: The second secret flower can be rather complicated, collect all the red flowers in the the second area and it will spawn some yellow flower chains around the edges of the area, collecting the flowers on the left closest to the rock wall when first entering the area will spawn a pink and red flower chain leading to the secret flowers. If this chain doesn't spawn trying collecting all the yellow flowers first.

3: When you reach the third area, take a sharp left as you reach the first rocks with the blue flowers around it, the secret flowers will be in a valley/inlet in the cliff.

Level 3

1: Collect all the flowers in the lower areas of the first area, these are mainly brown patches. Make sure to also collect the flower going under the small rock bridge connecting the upper areas leading to a wind turbine. The flowers will spawn and the camera will pan towards them.

2: When going through the wind controlled canyon there be a large rock face before turning right, this rock face will be a little after going under/over the rock bridges in the canyon. If you go inside this rock face there is a little cave at the base. Keep left and then when you reach a small open area before going back into the cave, dive down and you should collect the secret flowers before entering the second cave. BEWARE as when you reach the cinematic portion of the wind canyon where a stone arc collapses, this rock face will become closed off stopping you were entering so do it first time.

3: After you exit the wind canyon, make a sharp u-turn and head back towards the canyon against the wind, you should see the flowers in a small gap on the right when heading back, it is right at the exit.

Level 4

1: When you reach the area where you must light up the bales of hay, keep going and don't light up the bales, follow the road and you should find a fork in the road going left and right. If you go left there is a semi-circular bale and the hidden flowers are behind this bale.

2: The second flowers are located the the area where you must light up a spiral of grass in the ground by blooming flowers. Instead of blooming the flowers keep going and you should see a wagon, if you have your petals lit up, circle the wagon and the wheel should spin, this will spawn the flowers behind the wagon.

3: Keeping you light, go further from the wagon and towards the left a bit from the spiral, you will see a very thin and shallow pond. Light up this pond and the flowers will spawn on the side of it.

Level 5

1: Turn around in the starting area and you will see a valley behind you. Follow this valley and you will find the flowers.

2: This is found in the area will the electrical pylons. There are several pylons but collect all the pink flowers under the pylons which are not connected to a wire (the ones with purple flowers ARE collected to the wire). There are three pylons with these pink flowers. After collecting all the pink flowers go to the pylon on the left or right and the flower will spawn. Two of these pylons spawn but only one will spawn flowers.

3: When you reach the maze you need to take a left. When you get to the first electrified debris take a right and then go through the gap in the middle. Then take a sharp right and you should reach the flowers in an inlet in the canyon.

Level 6

1: When you get to the third area which is like a mediocre sized town there will be various buildings. This is the area with the playground and two steam vents. The first secret flowers are in one of the double tall tower buildings. The flowers are in the building with the door and the hole in the roof. Go through the building through the roof and you will see the flowers sitting on a suspension beam half way up the building.

2: On the motor way, towards the beginning on the motor way there will be an exit ramp on the right a little whiles in, this will take you under a building type thing with vertical suspension beams, the flowers are right in the middle.

3: After exiting the motor way there will be an area where you can colour the grass and remove steel scaffolding before the main evil building thing. The flowers are behind one of the two steam vents located in this linear area.

Bloom 10,000 flowers.

This is most likely the last trophy you will get as it involves major grinding. To get this trophy you will have to bloom 10,000 flowers as the trophy suggests. Levels 3 and 6 have the most flowers. Level 3 has a very large amount of flowers at the end when activating rows of turbines and level 6 has a mass of flowers at the very beginning. Replay these two levels over and over again until you get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/2BF.jpgUrban(S)

Completely awaken the city.

This trophy can be very difficult as it is not 100% clear how to gain this trophy. Everyone seems to have a different method. The way I would recommend is to clear every collide-able piece of scaffolding you can find. Bloom every single flower and paint every piece of grass green when exiting the motor way. Do all this before climbing the tower and you should get those trophy upon reentering the room.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/9B9.jpgMemories(S)

PS VITA: Reminisce for one minute in each dream.

To get this trophy you must enter screensaver mode for one minute in each dream. This can be achieved by staying idle when starting or pressing select. I recommend the later. It is not proved that this trophy is glitched however some people have reported having to wait at least 5 minutes in each dream for the trophy to unlock. I personally have not had this problem but I cannot say the same for other people. You do not have to complete the level to unlock this, it can be completed by waiting for one minute and then quitting but this can be glitchy so I recommend completing each level.

PS3/PS4: Reminisce for three minutes before returning to the room.

Just like the trophy for the Vita version, this will be achievable by entering screensaver mode via staying idle or pressing select. However to get this, all you have to do is stay 'reminisce' for 3 minutes in stead of one minute and this only needs to be done in one level instead of each level. You should gain this trophy automatically however is this doesn't activate press start and it should. If you are playing on the PS4 then you must press the touch pad to enter the screensaver mode as apposed to select.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/549.jpgPalette(S)

Use the grass as your canvas and paint the ground with three different colors.

This trophy requires you to paint the grass in a level three different colours. This is achievable in level 2 in the final area. After blooming the flowers and completing the goals the rocks should have some coloured wind inside them. There are three rocks with three coloured winds. By entering this wind the petals in your 'flock' will turn the colour of the wind, this will allow you to paint the grass by touching it. Do this for about 20 seconds with each colour and you should get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/8FA.jpgWind(S)

Play with the windmills and ride the wind seven times.

For this you must activate all the wind turbines in the final area of level 3 and circle them over and over again. To make sure you get this you should enter the wind of the turbines and exit after about 5-10 seconds before reentering. Do this seven or more times to get the trophy. This has been reported by people to be glitchy but some people have had no problems so I will not say it is glitched.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/64B.jpgIllumination(S)

Light a darkened pool.

This can be achieved on three different occasions. There are two ponds you can light up in level 4 and there is one in the credits level. This trophy will be automatically unlocked when going for the "Dream" trophy as one flower requires you to light up a pond to spawn one. (See "Dream" trophy [sub section "Level 4])

Journey to the city unscathed.

This trophy requires you to complete level 5 without being electrocuted or crushed. It is recommended you don't go for this trophy whilst trying to get all the secret flowers in level 5 as you are more likely to me electrocuted by electrocuted debris. To complete this you should avoid all flowers except the ones you need to collect to complete goals. Then when you reach the maze area you will eventually be carried by the wind through a straight linear path with scaffolding which will crush you. Just don't press anything and let the wind slowly carry you. This should allow you to stay in front of the falling scaffolding instead of being crushed by it.

Release all of the names to the sky.

This trophy is very simple. All you have to do is complete the credits level. This level is the picture on the far right of all the flowers. After completing the level some people's names ill ascend into the sky hence the trophy description.

Life could be simple...

(See "Dream" trophy [sub section "Level 3")

The second secret flower forces you to go through a hidden cave in the wind canyon. Instead of simply going through the cave you must stay on the far right whilst entering the cave. This will take you on the far right of the second cave as well which will take you past some images on the cave walls of 'That Game Company's" game "flOw". This tunnel will take you to the field at the beginning of the game as well as unlock the trophy.

SECRET TROPHIES

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/4CF.jpgWelcome Back(S)

Play the game after a week long break..

This is obvious. Just don't play for a week and then start it up again. I did it like this as I just happened to not play for over a week before starting again. A much easier way of doing this would be simply to start the game, quit, change the date and time settings of your PS VITA one week forward and then start the game again. The trophy should unlock before entering the room.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/3E0.jpgHealthy Play(S)

Relax for ten minutes in the room between dreams.

You only have to do this once. Complete a level and then wait in the room for 10 minutes. The trophy will unlock automatically. Make sure to touch the screen every few minutes to stop the PS VITA from going into sleep mode.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/7AA.jpgBeginning(S)

The dream has just started...

For this you must find all three secret flowers in any level.

(See "Dream" trophy)

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2379/D6D.jpgDiscovery(S)

Find and bloom a secret flower.

For this trophy you must bloom one secret flower in any stage.

(See "Dream" trophy)
