oversoul53
Hey all, haven't been the FFXIII section for awhile. after beating FFXIII I put it away and haven't touched it since. I kinda wanna get the plat, so I'm thinking of picking it up again (I have no new games to play this month anyways) and I was wondering... if I max out all 6 roles for all 6 characters does that pretty much give me a free pass in the later ce'ith mission in terms of A.) beating them and B.) five staring them? or are they still hard as hell even at max level? thanks in advance. Cornagandarub
They are still hard as shit. I spent several hours grinding all my levels to max and while it definitely makes a difference, it certainly isn't a free pass.
T_l_M_B_0
It will make a difference, but the final few missions will still be a bit of a challenge to 5-star them. I'd recommend getting everything maxed out before attempting the final few missions. IIRC, the missions get harder to 5-star with the better weapons you have, but your level doesn't, so you could equip low level weapons with maxed out characters to give you the best chance at 5-starring. Its been a long as shit time since I played this though, so my memory may be a little fuzzy.
Phisix
To answer your question: Yes. I tried some mark missions way before I had completed everyone's roles, but found it much easier with everyone's fully maxed.
