Recycled trophy tiles = FAIL.

Now that that bit of housework is out of the way, the images that are actually new look rather nice. I hate the vague trophy descriptions though. Those could be such a bitch to figure out. Thankfully those who get the JP version can figure them all out before the US has to worry about them :p

lol @ story related trophies being marked as "impossible" :rofl:

looks like most of the trophies are similar to the first game, finish the story, fight secret bosses, find items, ect. But now they threw in trophies for mini games and multiple endings.

Things could get interesting... :think:

Such vague and abstract trophy descriptions...I wonder how much "a fortune" and "a significant number" is exactly. I hope none of them are missable trophies too, it would suck to be 70 hours in and miss one and have to start over from scratch. :mad:

I may get this game later when it gets cheap, I got platinum on XIII and liked it.

The way they implemented NG+ allows you to reset a specific area of the game allowing you to play it as if it was your first time if you wish instead of having to replay the entire game if you don't won't to. Which pretty much eliminates the possibility of missibles.

I'm so glad they went back to having monsters drop gil.

I'm totally opposed of it. It's not that random enemies in the world carry money. The fact they dropped items was a nice thing and a good idea.

What they did wrong with the item hunter trophy was the drop rate of platinum ingots. 25% (33% with item) is not enough, 75-80% would have been better and would have cut down the 15 hours grind to 4-6 hours).

on topic;

I'm liking some of the new trophy images! Sadly a couple are the same but the new ones look great. (except for the story ones which seems out of place compared to the crystal ones).

I can't stand vague trophy descriptions(defeat an army's worth of enemies, perform a multitude of paradigm shifts) wow. I guess they pop when they do. So as long as you keep doing those things until the trophy unlocks we should be all set. I also can't understand why they wouldn't have original art on all trophies, why reuse them? I get the whole tear drop crystal for the platinum, but why this one? Sera is no longer crystal, isn't there something significant to tye this one to that is relevant to this story? Oh well, I guess I'll have 2 platinum tear drops in my trophy case!!

That is awesome, actually.

I'm hoping that the doubt here sets a really low bar for people to be pleasantly surprised. Personally, I think they addressed the biggest problems with XIII, as long as they implemented things correctly. As for QTEs, I can see that implemented well or badly. I'm fine with them experimenting with things like these, as long as they don't go overboard.
