Introduction Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is a quirky and hilarious shooter based of the popular t.v. show on FOX Network. Take control of all your favorite characters in a variety of modes to chose. From your standard deathmatch to challenges that will test your skills, you can't go wrong! Let's get started. Overview Estimated difficulty: 7/10 (solo) | 4.5/10 (co-op) Estimated time to : 15-20+ (solo) | 10-12+ (co-op) Trophy breakdown: 48 [1(P) | 2(G) | 7(S) | 38(B)] Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1.5 + clean-up Missable trophies: None, there is chapter select. Does difficulty affect : No difficulty. Cheat codes disable trophies: Unsure as of right now. Extra peripherals needed: Yes. A second controller. Roadmap Step 1 - Complete the story mode First, we suggest completing the story mode for a few reasons. It'll get you a vast majority of the trophies, money to spend on upgrades, maps, characters and much more and some skill for the challenges and such. During this playthrough, make sure to keep an eye out for collectibles as progress for them doesn't save over. (refer to "Obsessed"(G) for more info on that). Also keep note of the other 6 "technically" missable trophies through story; "Scorched Earth"(B), "Ugly Tastes Terrible"(B), Wrecking Ball"(B), "Pervert"(B), "Employee of the Month"(B), "Day Labor"(B). Step 2- Challenges After completing story, head over to the Challenges section. By this time you should know how the game and its aspects work. There are 7 chalenges in all. Most are easy, but the waves ones will really test your patience. You will most likely want a co-op partner for this section. Refer to the Challenges trophies for more information. Step 3- Multiplayer This is the easiest, yet the hardest part of the game. This is the make it or break it section. Firstly, you will need 2 controllers. Multiplayer is local only. After knocking off the easy standard multiplayer trophies comes the real deal. Multiverse Madness. This mode will not only take a while to complete- It will take a lot of skill, even with a partner. Good luck! You will most likely need it. Step 4- Story (1/2) + Clean-up Finally, if you haven't earned enough money from earn9ing all other trophies, head back through story to grind out whatever you're missing. It shouldn't take more than a few missions. If for some reason you missed any miscellaneous trophies or collectibles, now will also be the time to finish them off. After that, congrats on your shiny new ! Edited December 5, 2013 by Terminator

Almost every gun can kill an enemy in 1 hit. Snipers, rocket launchers, even Brian's pistols. If you aim for the head like you should in any shooter, than the "Head Shot"(B) trophy will pop as well. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/714.jpgMulti-Killhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Perform a multi-kill with a melee weapon Firstly, to use a melee weapon you hit and keep hitting it to swing. Now, you only have to kill 3 enemies for it to be considered a multikill and they don't have to be at once, just so long as it's done within a very short time-frame. Also note that it will take 3-4 swings to kill an enemy. Personally, I found the handicapped level or the boss fight of mission 8 to be the easiest spots for this. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/715.jpgMulti-kill with a grenade http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Perform a multi-kill with a grenade When going for the grenade kills trophy this will come. Most likely without your realizing, too. Getting 3 enemies with a grenade blast is very easy and can be done with any character. To throw a grenade, hit . If you're having difficulties, the boss fight of mission 8 is perfect. There are a LOT of enemies grouped together at all times! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/716.jpgFirst Kill http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Successfully complete your first kill of an opposing team member in Multiplayer Simply head over to the multiplayer and set up any game type. After getting in the match you will need to wait a few seconds until he spawns. Oce he does, track him down and melee(:circle) him to knock him out and pick him up. After, run back to your base to score. Repeat as needed until you win the game flawlessly. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/121.jpgPenny Pincher http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png Collect $50,000 in Story Mode $50,000 is a fairly small amount and will come along the way when buying everything from the store. I earned this around the beginning of mission 8 and I suspect you will too so long as you kill every enemy you come across and explore the levels, picking up money bundles as you go. If you've beaten story and still don't have this, please refer to "Mort Will Now Lend You Credit"(S). http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/122.jpgMr. Unpopular http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Choose Meg for a Multiplayer match Another trophy which doesn't require much explanation. You can do this in conjunction with "Bird is the Word"(B). http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/125.jpgIEDead http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Kill 60 enemies with grenades/explosives To throw a grenade, push with any character. A good place to farm this in my opinion is mission 5. At one point, you will jump across to a hotel. Once inside a cutscene will play showing you a few guards. Get their attention and a big group of them will come out. If you have grenades upgraded a few times it will only take a few runs to knock off the trophy. Another good spot is the final boss of mission 8. Edited December 10, 2012 by CyanideHappiness

No, you need to buy everything from the store at the main menu. All characters, costumes, upgrades, etc. It will cost roughly $150,000-$200,000 to buy everything. If you need a good place to farm money, I suggest mission 5. You can earn $10-12k every 15 or 20 minutes. It's the fastest way I know of. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/134.jpgBestest Infiltrator http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Win an Infiltration map Infiltration is your typical objectives multiplayer mode. CyanideHappiness
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/140.jpgBig Dipper http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png Earn 21 stars in Challenge mode Earning 21 stars means earning 3 stars on all 7 challenges. This can prove to be very difficult if attempted solo, which is why we suggest you get a partner who knows what they are doing to help. Most missions are easy. But the 2 "wave" missions will prove to be a major pain in the ass. Another good reason for playing co-op is, when playing solo, you only have 1 life. If playing co-op, when one player dies they have a 3 second spawn in wait so long as the other player doesn't die! Money Shots - Gather In this challenge you have to take 10 pictures within a set time limit. This one is possible solo, but will prove much simpler co-op. After starting up, have 1 person take the left side and the other take the right. If one of you gets stuck on a camera because of too many enemies, have the other run over and help keep it clear. Once done don;t forget to run back to your car! Amish Amuck Another one very easily done solo, but will prove much simpler and faster co-op. You need to kill 50 Amish whilst killing 3 tourists or less. If you kill 4, it's game over. I sugest using Brian's shotgun as I find it very O.P. and can get the job done rather quickly. The Crips and Ables - Rescue In this challenge, you need to free 6 hostages from the alien prison cells within a set time period while fighting off the handicapped enemies. This challenge is very simple and the time limit is extremely generous. DOing it solo or co-op wouldn't really make a difference. Town Hall Beating - Wave Defense This is where the difficulty sets in and you'll really want a co-op partner. If attempted solo, chances are it'll never get done. First, you play as either Adam West (good/evil) and must fight off 3 very long and difficult waves of enemies. Having a co-op partner will help tremendously because if you die, it's only 3 seconds to spawn whereas solo you only have 1 life. To make things go faster, make sure to use special inventory items regularly and keep health kits in you in case of emergency. We feel the best weapons to use are the 2 default ones (sniper and akimbo magnums). Sea Men Attack - Wave Defense This is probably the hardest challenge. To get 3 stars, you need to survive 6 minutes without your pirate ship being destroyed. Once again, a co-op partner is pretty much a necessity. Firstly, your only focus is the cannons. Regular weapons or special items won't help against the ships. They will, however, keep the pirates that get aboard at bay. Both players should ALWAYS be on the cannons when the ships come unless there's enemies on board. In which case, one player should mount the cannons while the other fights off the enemies so they don't knock you off the cannons or kill you. Whilst shooting you should also switch between cannons while one is reloading. Aside from that it really just comes down to luck and your aim. Good luck. Last Minute Shoppers - Escape In this challenge, you're tasked with running through Santa's workshop in the opposite direction of story, whilst collecting 5 bombs. You must also reach the end with 15 seconds on the clock. Don't even worry about enemies, just run. There's plenty of heath kits to keep your health up. Co-op is a good investment as there is one very tricky jump early on that you will probably screw up on a few times. Your partner can also shoot the enemies while you collect the bombs. Someone to Overwatch Me - Overwatch Co-op warning! Requires 2 players! In this challenge, one player controls Peter flying around the level in a helicopter with a grenade launcher and a minigun while the other plays as Lois who must plant 8 c4 charges along the map. Lois also CANNOT die. If she does it's game over. Personally, I find the grenade launcher to be useless and just used the minigun. Lois should be able to handle the ground troops, just make sure Peter takes care of the snipers in the windows or Lois will die. Fast. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/141.jpgBird is the Word http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Taunt 5 times in a row with Peter Peter is only accessible in multiplayer or challenges. To taunt, simply press on the d-pad. Do this 5 times in a row for the trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/142.jpgUgly Tastes Terrible http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Play poorly during the final showdown The description for this is a little misleading. The "final showdown" is the final part of mission 10. You will be on the 3rd section of the fight and it takes place on Spooner Street (you'll see the Griffins standing outside their house). Simply get killed and a small "Game Over" cutscene will play followed by the trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/143.jpgCartoon Apocalypse http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png Survive 30 waves in Multiverse Madness This is the hardest trophy in the game and will take roughly 2 hours to complete. Unless you have serious skill, you will most likely not get this solo. We highly recommend having a partner for this. Map: We find the easiest map for this is Quahog. Atthe start, look for a small alley that leads into a storage garage (there will be 2 health kits on either side). This is the best place to stay. The enemies have a spawn here but are easily dealt with, you have an easy escape just behind you (storage room), and the enemies will just stand at the front of the alley most of the time. Just to your right you also have an ammo cache, grenades, a health kit (plus 2 in the storage) and a chicken egg on the roof. Characters:After a bit of trial and error, we came to the conclusin that Brian and Quagmire are the best choice. Quagmire's assault rifle and Brian's shotgun are extremely O.P. You also have access to Brian's molitavs which can create a small barrier to regsther yourself when needed or keep enemies out. Items: These are your best friends when attempting this trophy. Using the special items on a large group will help a lot in diminishing them and keeping your health up. Also, always remember to keep 2 health kits on you at all times. Aside from that, it's all about strategy, planning and skill. Nothing more. Good luck. This trophy is definitely the make-it or break-it of the game. A very easy method for this is to play on the Airport map. Near the back is a counter you can jump over and get into a sort of head glitch. The enemies have a very hard time hitting you here. There is a purple teddy bear in front of you, plus grenades and ammo to your left. Just wanted to say that my brother & I just got this trophy & the plat! We played on the "Evil Quahog" map, used Stewie & Mayor West & camped out up by the "Store Portal" at the top of the fire escape, you have an AC unit to shield yourself from the street, stand Stewie just in front of Mayor West & Stewie can use satchel charges to take out a group of enemies running up the stairs at once with Mayor West's revolvers being very effective at dispatching any stragglers quickly! Also if you have already purchased a weapon it's just a matter of pressing to enter the Store Portal & it instantly reloads your ammo, also is quicker to reload your flamethrower this way... If you become overwhelmed then throw one of those "wacky flailing arm tube men" onto the stairs which blocks them allowing you to get rid of them under less pressure, although when they start inflicting 2x damage you want them gone before they get that close! When a round is over then stock up on the provisions below & repeat! Also for reference it took us 160 minutes & 3 seconds so 2 hours 40 minutes http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/144.jpgBunch of Chumps http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Survive 15 waves in Multiverse Madness Please reffer to "Cartoon Apocolypse"(S). http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/145.jpgWrecking Ball http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Smash your opponent into something 20 times in the "Chicken Fight!" level This trophy is pretty much impossible to miss. There are so many things laying around for you to knock the chicken through. If you don't feel safe and think you need to aim for this, always make sure to examine your surroundings and lure him to where the most objects are. For example, instead of knocking him through chairs from the front, only hitting 2 or 3, knock him in from the side so he careens through the whole row! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/146.jpgPervert http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Hang around the room with Quagmire in a baby costume for 30 seconds During mission 5, you will eventually use a crane lever to lower a walkway. Once you cross it, you will find yourself inside a hotel with a few guards up front. Quagmire will be on the second to last room on the left (if facing the guards). Head into the room and just wait 30 seconds for the trophy to pop. Edited December 10, 2012 by CyanideHappiness

TheNukes
Looking forward to the locations guide lol, I have all except 3rd level and i can't find remaing 1 placard!!! Handicap placard? I bet the one your missing is inside the back of a pickup truck that is parked in the parking garage on the second floor. If that's not it make sure you got the one during the boss fight its up front by the railings and if that's not it then make sure you got all 4 when your in the 2 hospital areas disabling alarms, there is 1 in the first and 3 in the second. Shadiest187
Looking forward to the locations guide lol, I have all except 3rd level and i can't find remaing 1 placard!!! See my comment 2 posts above yours for a location guide... I take no credit for it, wasn't done by me & wasn't originally posted by me but I'm just helping you guys out! Also what i did was "quit to main menu" after finding all collectibles in a level but you MUST complete one full level for the trophy to unlock after collecting all of them
Shadiest187
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1532/143.jpgCartoon Apocalypse http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png Survive 30 waves in Multiverse Madness This is the hardest trophy in the game and will take roughly 2 hours to complete. Good guide mate! Also for reference it took us 160 minutes & 3 seconds so 2 hours 40 minutes Best of luck guys, it truly is a nerve wracking trophy Edited November 27, 2012 by Shadiest187

candyycane83
For another easy spot to farm money you can go to Santa's Sweatshop and just stand on the end of the last conveyor belt, the suicide elfs never end so just keep killing them. flacy
Was a real good guide thanks:) Could you add this in but. I have noticed on the first level if you jump on tables or cars the enemys cant hit you so it makes it easy to line up headshots and I got the 75 in the first level! Would be a useful tip for everyone to get this trophy early on and not have to think about headshots!
mattybell2117
Anybody else having problems with the game freezing when using to swap guns? It's not every time but it seems to do it at the most in opportune moments like end of level bosses so I have to quit to the XMB & reload All. The. Time. So friggin annoying. I was somewhat enjoying the game but the constant freezing is irritating. Only seems to happen with Brian for me.
