Roadmap

Introduction

Family Feud Decades is a twist on the normal game in that you get to play the game from different decades of the shows history with questions and answers coming from those eras. Not only does it change up the questions based on the decade you choose, but it also shows the game show set from that time as well, adding a little nastagia to the mix as well. As far as trophies go, it consists of a variety of game mode related ones with the required online ones mixed in, although none of which are too difficult and can be accomplished fairly easily.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Obtain All The Decade Awards

Start your game out by going through each of the four decades and get the awards associated with each one (there are 5 for each). By obtaining them all, you will not only get the You Are Historian trophy, but you will also get quite a few of the other trophies or be on pace to finish them off quickly. See the trophy description for You Are Historian to see more about the awards you need to obtain.

Step 2: Clean-up Remaining Offline Trophies

After you complete the first step you will want to go back and do what is needed to gain the remaining non-online related trophies (everything other than Taste Of Winning & Dare You Challenge Me). See the trophy descriptions for any of the trophies you have remaining to see how to get them easier.

Step 3: Get 30 Wins Online

Now that the offline trophies are completed, it's time to get the final 2 online related ones to finish off your 100%. All you need to do is to play online and get 30 wins total. The easiest way to do this is to use a boosting partner which you can find HERE. After you get the 30 wins and your last 2 trophies, sit back and enjoy your 100% of Family Feud Decades!

Give a top answer in the first 5 seconds 10 times

You will be doing this trophy mainly in Faceoff part of each round as it's the easiest chance you have at getting the top answer. For this trophy, you must complete and submit your answer before the time reaches 14 seconds remaining. The nice thing about the game is that after you input the first 2 letters of your answer, a bunch of common words relating to those 2 letters will pop up for which can be chosen by selecting them with one of the shoulder buttons, making it easier for you to answer faster. Just remember, the answer you give has to be the TOP answer or it doesn't count. After you give 10 top answers in under 5 seconds each, the trophy will pop!

Earn 1000 points in Fast Money

This trophy is cumulative and is to be done over multiple games. This one will come over the course of playing and going after some of the other trophies as you will have to win numerous Fast Money rounds to get cash/awards. Just keep playing and every time you get to the Fast Money round, try to get as many points as you possibly can (200 points wins you the $20,000, that should be your base goal for each one). After you reach 1000 points combined over all the games, the trophy will pop!

Win your first match

Just start a single player game in whichever decade you want, choose the easy opponent to make things easier and then just beat them in the game (by getting 300 points first). After you do that and the game ends, the trophy will pop!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1327/A22.jpg The Magnate http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Earn $500,000

This trophy is cumulative and is to be done over multiple games. You will win money as you play through the different games and make it to the Fast Money rounds. The easiest and quickest way to get this trophy is to win the Fast Money round 25 times as you get $20,000 each time you win one. If you end up not getting the required 200 points to win the Fast Money round, then you will get $5 for every point you earned in that round. You can view you progress at the main menu above your character. Once you win the $500,000 total, the trophy will pop!

Win 5 Sudden Death match

The Sudden Death matches are for games that go past the 4th round without a winner. They consist of a Faceoff with a single top answer on the board and are worth triple the points. The easiest way to make sure that you almost always make it to a Sudden Death Match to play on easy mode and try to always get the top answer on the Faceoff, then select to play and just submit blank answers so you strike out and your opponent gets to answer. Keep doing this over the next 3 rounds, but watch the point totals of you and your opponent as you don't want either of you to get the 300 points before you get to Sudden Death. If either of you are getting close, then make sure you do what you can to offset the points by either taking them or giving them to your opponent. Once you make it to the Sudden Death round, just make sure that you get the top answer correct. Rinse and repeat that 5 times and after the 5th one, the trophy will pop!

Steal the board 10 times and give a good answer

This is easiest done on the Easy mode opponents as they usually leave alot of choices on the board for you to steal with in the game. At the faceoff, try to get the top answer and then let them play so that you will have the chance to steal yourself later on. After they get their 3 strikes (which is almost always), you just need to guess one of the remaining answers on the board to steal the board. Do that 10 times and the trophy will pop after the final one!

Complete the board 20 times without a strike

This one can be a pain in the butt since you have no room for error on it. It's easiest done one boards with less answers on it obviously. Basically you just have to get every answer correct without getting one strike during that board. After you complete this task 20 times, the trophy will pop!

*Note: It does not seem that "Sudden Death" board (ones with only one answer) count towards this, so it has to be 20 "full boards" (ones with multiple answers)*

20 top answers during Faceoff

Pretty much self-explanatory, you need to get the top answer during the faceoff 20 times. You will probably get this by playing through the game towards the other trophies anyways since you'll have to go through numerous Faceoff rounds, so the odds that you'll get the top answer 20 times is pretty high. Just keep going through the games and try for the top answer and once you get the 20th one correct during the Faceoff, the trophy will pop!

You get behind for primal 3 rounds but exceed at the last round

For this trophy, you need to aim to be behind by the time you get to Round 4, then win it all in that round. To do this I'd suggest winning either the first or second round and taking the points, and then losing the other two, giving your opponent the points (easiest way is to get the top answer in the face off, let them play, then when it's your chance to steal, just submit no answer to guarantee you will lose). Then when you're behind in Round 4, make sure you take the board and it's worth enough points to put you over the 300 point win mark. This may take an attempt or two as sometimes you might fall a few points short of it at the end. After you do this, the trophy will pop!

Go through the game under any difficulty

This is extremely easy. You basically just have to play a game in each of the 4 decades on any difficulty and win. After you win a game in each of the decades, the trophy will pop!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1327/1C5.jpg The Loser http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Get the 100th strike

This trophy is cumulative and is to be done over multiple games. This will probably come during the course of your normal playing, but if you find yourself short on strikes or just want to get this one done faster, make sure you play as many of the rounds as you can and then just submit blank answers to guarantee you'll get a strike. After you get your 100th strike, the trophy will pop!

Be stolen by other families for 10 times

This trophy is cumulative and is to be done over multiple games. Easiest way to do this one is to play against a Hard difficulty opponent, then during the face off, make sure you win control of the board and select to play. After that, just submit blank answers to get your three strikes right away and give your opponent the chance to steal (which being on Hard difficulty, they will end up doing most of the time). Rinse and repeat 10 times and after the final one, the trophy will pop!

Two families get exactly the same points at the 4th round

This one is a royal pain in the butt and is pretty much luck based in the end. Basically you and your opponent have the exact same total of point going in the final round. The problem is, not every board will give you the points you need to end up with a tie in the end, so you have to try to do it on your own and make it end up that way. The best way you can do this is by using 2 controllers and playing a versus game locally, then just try your best to make sure the teams are tied at the 4th round. Once you are able to do this, the trophy will pop!

Win all ages awards

This is the trophy that will take you the longest to complete as it requires you to complete 20 different awards over the 4 decades (5 in each one). The nice thing is that some of the award requirements are also other trophies (or at least part of other trophies), so if you plan it right, you can achieve them together. Once you obtain all 20 of the awards, the trophy will pop!

Beat 30 rivals online

It's just as it sounds, you need to win 30 matches online. You can do this by just going on and playing normally or you can boost it with someone and have them lose on purpose, giving you the easy wins. You can find a boosting partner HERE. After you win your 30th online game, the trophy will pop!

I found an easy way to get the trophy for having the same amount of points at the 4th round using 2 controllers if you want to add it to the guide or whatever.I don't know if everyone's games start the same way as mine but if they do delete your save data go to 70's decade & if the very first game asks a vegetable in italian cooking, have player 1 answer garlic worth 5 points, after that keep pressing square answering nothing, then round 2 player 1 also pick only school worth 49 giving you 54 points total, then the 3rd round with player 2 pick only cherry worth 12 points giving you 24 points because points are doubled, then 4th round with player 2 pick only ball game worth 10 points but their tripled giving yo 30 bringing player 2 score total to 54 & bam there's your trophy.Hope you guys understood my explain good:)
