Clothier
I have both the original eyepet and the eyepet and friends, but haven't really played either (one is sister's and the other was a recent gift) what are the pro's and cons of both, which is easier to platinum? netlagged
I have both too - Eyepet friends is way the easiest and quicker to plat. Biggest pro for friends is its 3D and biggest con is its very buggy. Original Eyepet pro is its solid and you can get the free move upgrade for it - con I guess it's actually quite hard for a kids game!
Stork77
Eyepet Friends: -can have two pets simultaneously (even if they've been trained separately in a different save file or even under a different user - so long as the save file is on the same physical PS3) -geared more towards games and artistic activities (but that may be just because I was aiming for trophies). -easier, quicker trophies. Eyepet: -geared more toward caring for and training your pet (again, that may just be because I played with trophies in mind) -side activities (gardening, fishing) are unstructured (ie just time to do stuff with your pet with no real goal, time constraint, points, etc) and structured (snap, tennis, treadmill) -load times usually let you interact with your pet while Friends has cutscenes during loading. -relatively rare plat considering the game isn't all that hard. Depends what you're looking for I guess, I liked the first one better. Both games froze on me a couple of times, but since I spent more time on the first one I think the first one is less glitchy.
