Introduction

From the developers of Heavenly Sword, Ninja Theory's next game, Enslaved, has you controlling a man named Monkey. Your journey? To bring a girl named Trip back to her home. Whether you like it or not, you're forced to bring her back on a journey through New York City and to what appears to be a Post Apocalyptic World. Why? Because she's strapped your head with a Helmet and through the phrase, "Command", you're forced to do what you're told. Should you refuse her orders, lethal poison will be injected into your brain and well, you die.

A beautiful world, a male and female companion, straightforward platforming that generally plays itself, and combat that's fun and simple, makes this game very fun and engaging. Whether you decide to rent or buy this, if you liked Heavenly Sword and Prince Of Persia with a little bit of Uncharted, this game is a great new IP to play for Fall 2010.

ROADMAP

1) COMPLETE THE GAME ON HARD.

Pretty simple, just beat the game on whatever difficulty you choose. You might as well play on Hard since the game isn’t really all that difficult. The difficulty trophies are stacked, so if you begin on Hard, you'll earn all three of the Difficulty Related trophies.

I recommend upgrading Monkey in the following order:

 1. Combat Awareness
 2. Health Extension 1 and 2
 3. Shield Strength 1 and 2
 4. Block Strength 1 and 2
 5. Stun Effect
 6. Stun Time 1 and 2
 7. Ammo Increase 1 and 2
 8. Plasma Damage x2
 9. Focused Attack

This is just what I recommend, so you can always go abouts the upgrades in the order that best suits your playing style. The rest of the upgrades, you can purchase them which ever order you please.

On this playthrough you will get the Chapter Completion trophies. Also, you should have gotten most, if not all of the Combat Related trophies naturally. Don’t worry if you don’t, as you can always grind them out later using Chapter Select. If you want a good place to grind them out, CTRL+F the Chapter you're on and see if I've mentioned a place that's good for earning a particular trophy. If you have been following the Text and Video Guide, you should also have unlocked the Mask and Orb Collection trophies.

NOTE: An important thing to note is that there is a New Game+ feature. Everything you’ve earned such as Orbs collected, Masks collected, and Upgrades purchased on your first playthrough will carry over to Chapter Select or a New Game. Those that started the game on Easy will easily be able to breeze through on Hard with all their power ups.

Also just a heads up, the game keeps track on what difficulty you've finished a Chapter on. So if you're among the many others who love to finish collecting all your collectibles on each stage before moving on to the next one on a easier difficulty or vice versa, you can do so and the Difficulty Related trophies will unlock no problem. Thank you Moving On and maff33 for the confirmation!

2) EASY PLAYTHROUGH (Optional) + CLEAN UP.

Once you’ve finished your first playthrough, you may now use the Chapter Select function to earn the remaining trophies that you may have missed, specifically the Orbs. If you didn't play the game on Hard like I suggested, now is a good time to use Chapter Select and replay each chapter to do so.
At the end of the chapter you will have to face a Dog.

To destroy it, you will need to make use of the Stun Blast. Ammo will respawn should you ever run out, so don't hold back! Hover away from the Dog on your Cloud until you're far enough, then take aim with your Staff and stun him. Once stunned he'll fall to the ground, in which you should run up to him and unleash melee attacks. When it gets back up, simply repeat the same thing over again until his first Life Bar's depleted. With his first Life Bar gone, the Dog will try to run away, dropping Blue Orbs along the way. Catch up to him with your Cloud and perform a Takedown :circle:.

Do the same thing on his second Life Bar, and the Dog will be defeated.

Story Related. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 8.
For the Windmill, when you have to lower the Second Blade, make your way to the White Building and have Trip spin the Windmill so that you can get to another Blade by jumping onto a pole. Have Trip spin you back to the top with you on the pole, in which the option to release the flappings becomes available. Do the same thing for the third and final Blade but instead, make your way to the White Building, then the Red Building on the other side using the Windmill.

For those of you having trouble in the next fight, mainly due to those Boxer Mech's, the Focused Attack and Stun Blasts are your friends. The attack allows you to one shot them if all the hits connect. Using this adjacent with Stun Blasts should make quick work outta them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/22.jpgBad Doggy (B)

Rescue Trip from the Dog in less than 36 seconds.
Occurs at the end of Chapter 9,

You'll reach your first chase section in the game in which you have to chase the Dog on your Cloud (Hover Board) before Trip gets carried off and mauled to death (you'll see this cutscene quite a few times :p). Make sure to keep your speed up using the Blue Speed Orbs. Miss even one, and you'll probably have to start over. Right when the Dog enters the cave and a reticue appears on him, you will only have a few seconds to take him down before you miss the time limit.

The trophy should unlock during the cutscene that follows if you reached the time limit; you'll know you've earned it when the save icon appears on the bottom right corner of your screen.

If you don't think you've reached the time limit (check with a stopwatch or the video), reload your last checkpoint before the cutscene and try again. If during the cutscene it hasn't unlocked, quit to the XMB and try again. That way, the game won't save and you won't have to replay the chapter all over again.

The trophy is pretty much impossible on Hard as the Dog runs way too fast. Attempt this trophy on Easy, and the Dog will run much slower.

Beat Pigsy to the top of the Decaying Titan
Occurs in the beginning of Chapter 10.

You will have to race that cheating S.O.B. Pigsy to the top of the Decaying Titan. Pretty straightforward, though if you're having trouble, take note of the route you're gonna take, memorize it, then restart the checkpoint and run through it again.

Show Pigsy how embarrassing it is to lose even with the aid of a grappling hook and you'll earn yourself the trophy during the following cutscene.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/25.jpgMatador (B)

Kill the Rhino without getting hit by his Charge Attack.
Occurs at the end of Chapter 11.

An easy way to do this is by going around the arena, making good use of the camera, using it simultaneously as you hover around the place. The Rhino should never be able to hit you as long as you ensure the camera never faces the him when you're trying to get away.

Some people have reported that they had a much easier time earning this without the Cloud. A "wait and dodge at the last minute" method on foot works better for them. Either way works.

When you get to the second part of the battle with the Burner's, position yourself slightly to the left or right of a Burner to allow yourself some leeway before the Rhino charges at you. As soon as you see the Rhino lowers his hood, that's your cue to hover away. If you've finished the Rhino off without taking any damage, the trophy will unlock during the following cutscene.

If at anytime you mess up, restart your checkpoint.

The AI's difficulty is much easier on Easy, so if you're having trouble on Hard, replay this chapter at a later time on Easy.

Rescue Trip from the Rhino in less than 35 seconds.
Occurs at the end of Chapter 11, just right after the Rhino fight.

Similar to the chase with the Dog, make sure you're hitting every Blue Orb possible in order to maintain speed. If you're trying to go for the Red Orbs, do it on another run through. The path is much more straightforward compared to the Dog's so you shouldn't have much trouble.

Again, attempt this on Easy, as its next to impossible to do it on Hard. The Rhino will run much slower, allowing you more time to catch up to him.

Again, restart your checkpoint if you don't think you've made the time. If during the following cutscene you didn't earn yourself the trophy, quit to the XMB and try again.

The trophy will unlock in the following cutscene; you'll know you've earned it when the save icon appears on the bottom right corner of your screen.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/20.jpgGreat Sage Equal of Heaven (G)

Complete all Chapters on Hard.

Hard is unlocked right away, so if you want a challenge on your first run, go for it! The only difference between Hard and Easy is that Mech’s do more damage and have more health.

Some Tips:

 • Make use of the Sweep Attack :square:+:cross:. It can and will get you outta sticky situations when you get surrounded by multiple enemies.
 • Make a habit of stunning your enemies so you can take them out one at a time.
 • Make use of blocking as well. If you can master the Counter Attack technique, even better!
 • Bullets chip away at Monkey's shield before it does so to his health. Melee attacks however will damage you unless you block them.
 • The Focused Attack is very useful against the Boxer and Electro Mechs. Save these attacks often and unleash them when you're in a bind. If every hit connects to a enemy, they will almost always die in one attack.
 • If you have damage upgrades for your Plasma Blast, consider using it to clear out groups of enemies if you have the ammo

The trophy is unlocked during the Credits.

COMBAT RELATED TROPHIES

In regards to the Combat Related Trophies, your kills and progress does not save if you restart a checkpoint. If you want your progress towards the trophies to save, purposely get killed instead.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/34.jpgMech Murderer (B)

Kill 200 enemies.

Should come naturally on your first playthrough. If you have been diligently killing every enemy you encountered, you should unlock it before you finish the game.

For reference, I earned this trophy during Chapter 8, mainly cause I've been dying a lot...

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/488/28.jpg Stunning (B)

Stun 75 different enemies.

There are a number of ways to stun enemies in the game:

 1. One way is by using Stun Blast on enemies.
 2. The other way is done by using a Charged Melee Attack, done by holding :square: till the staff glows, and then releasing.
 3. A third way is using a Takedown on a Electro Mech
 4. Trip's EMP (thanks for the heads up purifico)

Stun 75 different enemies using a combination of the above 3 methods and the trophy will unlock.

An easy way to ensure you get this on your first playthrough is to stun every enemy you face. That way, you can be guaranteed to earn this trophy by the time you beat the game.

If you have been stunning every enemy you've encountered, you should unlock this trophy around Chapter 8 or 9.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/35.jpgCounterintuitive (B)

Perform 20 Counter Attacks.

Counter Attack (Combat Upgrade): Press :circle: the moment Monkey successfully Blocks :r2: an attack.

For this, you will need to purchase the technique for 45,000 Tech Orbs. Once you have it, look for opportunities against the Mechs to use it on. It's hard to get the timing at first, but keep at it and you'll reach the 20 that's required for the trophy to unlock. Remember to press :circle: immediately as soon as you block the attack.

A good opportunity I found to do this was during Chapter 3, where you get the Stun Blast you should face 4 enemies. Make use of the covers/blockades in such a way that the Mechs won't go around and chase you but instead stay still. Use this time to practice and perfect your timing.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/33.jpgDouble Punch (B)

Use Stun Blast then Plasma Blast to kill 25 shielded enemies.

Stun Blast: :right:, obtained in Chapter 3.

Plasma Blast: :left:, obtained in Chapter 2.

Attempt this trophy once you've purchased the Plasma Damage Upgrades.

To earn this trophy, look for Shielded Enemies and use a Stun Blast on them, then upon doing so switch to your Plasma Blast and blast them. Kill 25 enemies using this process and the trophy should pop right up.

A great place to grind this is during the beginning of Chapter 11, as you'll face a number of these enemies not to mention tons of ammo all over the place. Before killing off the last few Mech's, kill yourself (so that your kills save) and repeat.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/37.jpgAttacks Evasion (B)

Perform 20 Evade Attacks that hit an enemy.

Evade: :ls:+:cross:

Evade Attack (Combat Upgrade): Press :square: during an evade. Timing changes the type of Evade Attack performed.

When facing an enemy, use an Evade and during the Evade, press :square: to perform an Evade Attack. If you wish, you can spam the move on an enemy till you get the trophy. Perform this 20 times and the trophy will unlock.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo8oDjdvNi0]YouTube - Enslaved Attacks Evasion Achievement[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/27.jpgOver Here! (B)

Distract 20 different enemies.

Use :r1: to Shout/Distract enemies during battle. Enemies that were firing at Trip should now be firing at you. Trip has to be near you or targeted in order for it to work. You know Trip is being targeted when the lower left corner of your HUD flashes red. Simply do this 20 times and the trophy should unlock.

The first time you can do this will be during Chapter 2. As long as you remember to Shout (think of it like a battle cry) every time you engage enemies, you'll earn this trophy as early as Chapter 3.

A distract counts both during Decoy sections of the game and regular battles.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/17.jpgHeadcase (B)

Headshot a Demolition mech 20 times.

You'll encounter your first Demolition Mech in Chapter 2. They're the Mech's with construction balls for hands. Use Plasma Blasts on their heads 20 times and the trophy will unlock. You'll most likely get this trophy as you play through the game, as you'll face against three of these.

If you wish though, during the Chapter 2 battle, shoot its head with Plasma Shots till you run out of ammo, and then get yourself killed. There's ammo in a nearby corner should you need to restock. Repeat this process till you earned the trophy.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjAl8W9wqeY]YouTube - Enslaved Headcase Achievement[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/36.jpgKebabed (B)

Kill 3 enemies with a penetrating Plasma Blast.

Plasma Penetration (Staff Upgrade): Requires 35,500 Tech Orbs.

One of the trickier trophies to earn. Once you’ve bought the upgrade for your Plasma Blast, find an opportunity where you can line up 3 Regular Mechs, and shoot them with a Stun Blast. Take aim nice and quick with the Plasma Blast and try your best to one shot all 3.

A great place to do so is during Chapter 6, when you're making your way towards Trip. You'll reach an area with bridges connecting to several islands. Lure a group of enemies to the bridge and try your best to line them up using Stun Blasts. Kill all 3 with one Plasma Blast and the trophy should pop.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDEHUB8jCnQ]YouTube - Enslaved Kebabed Achievement[/ame]

Another place which offers a great opportunity to do so is near the end of Chapter 3 (as suggested for the Counterintuitive trophy). Jump over the barricades till the 4 robots rush at you in a straight line formation. Then it's just a matter of shooting them with a Stun Blast and killing them all in one Plasma Shot.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/32.jpgOut Cold (B)

Stun 3 enemies at once with a Radial Stun Blast.

Stun Effect (Staff Upgrade)- Requires 22,500 Tech Orbs

For this trophy, you will need the Stun Effect upgrade. Once you’ve purchased it, simply just wait till 3 or more Mechs are near each other, and fire away.

You'll get this rather easily as you play through the game, probably earning it before you know what you did!

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kns7BAcINM0]YouTube - Enslaved Out Cold Achievement[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/30.jpgBoom! (B)

Use the Bomb Takedown to kill 2 enemies.

During Chapter 5, when you finally reach the top of the bridge, Trip will scan the area and mention a Mech where if you "Damage its core, it'll self destruct". Get to the Mech, damage it until the option for a Takedown comes up, and press :circle:. Wait for the 2 other enemies to get close to you and as soon as they're in the blast radius, release and the explosion should take care of them, unlocking your trophy.

Chapter 13 is also another great place to attempt this since you'll face several of these Mechs.

Mechs that can be Bomb Takedown'd are labeled with a Flame icon.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=io5nsO6_6nU]YouTube - Enslaved Boom! Achievement[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/31.jpgRole Reversal (B)

Use the Gun Scout Hijack to kill 10 enemies.

You'll encounter these Scout Mechs in Chapter 3. During another Decoy section, Trip will mention a Mech with a detachable gun arm. Make your way up to the Mech, damage him till a Takedown :circle: option becomes available, then use his gun and kill enemies with it. Remember it's to kill 10 enemies using their Gun, not Takedown 10 of of these enemies.

You'll encounter a lot more of these as you progress, so don't worry if you don't get it then.

Note that Gun Scout Mechs have a Green Reticule atop of their heads.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/26.jpgMined the Gap (B)

Knock an enemy back into a mine.

This trophy can be easily gotten in Chapter 2, when you’re at the part where you have to tread through a mine infested area a second time. There will be a lone Mech that you'll face as you make your way. Instead of defeating him, use this time to use a Swipe Attack :square:+:cross: to knock him back into a mine. The swipe attack doesn't do any damage, so just spam it till you get it.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNYPzg5XbRw]YouTube - Enslaved: Mined the Gap Achievement[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/29.jpgClose Call (B)

Kill a Broadcaster with 1 second on the clock.

Broadcasters are the Mech's that calls for reinforcements. Once they attempt a call, a countdown will appear on top of their heads.

On Easy, their countdown starts at 40 seconds. On Hard, you only get 15 seconds.

An easy way to do this if you're having trouble on Hard is to start Chapter 3 on Easy with a fully upgraded Plasma Shot. During the sneaking session in the beginning of the chapter, instead of sneaking past the group of enemies, make scrap metal outta these Mechs until one of them attempts a radio call. Kill off the others, sparing this one Mech and as soon as the countdown reaches 01, Stun the guy, then one-shot him with a Plasma Shot for the trophy.

Thanks to Cheattaro for reminding me that countdowns can be stopped by stunning the enemy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/39.jpgGot Your Back (B)

Rescue Trip 3 times after she has performed an EMP.

You’ll most likely earn this as trophy as you progress through the story. Trip uses an EMP whenever Mechs try to have their way with her, either because you were too busy fending off the other Mechs or you really just wanted her to die (like me). You'll know she's used an EMP indicated by the HUD on the bottom left of your screen (it'll be "blinking" letting you know that an EMP has been used and is charging).

Once she uses an EMP, kill off the Mech that targeted her. Destroying the Mech is considered a rescue. Repeat this 3 times for the trophy!

MISCELLANEOUS TROPHIES

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/38.jpgInvincible (B)

Complete a Chapter without dying (Except Chapter 1).

You will most likely earn this as you're going back through the chapters on Easy, looking for the Orbs that you may have missed. If you want to earn it right away though, a good place to do so would be in Chapter 6. There are no Shooting Mechs, no Bosses, no platforming sections in which you can fall off in this chapter, plus it's a relatively short level.

If you somehow get killed, feel free to restart your checkpoint as it doesn't affect the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/40.jpgUntouchable (G)

Complete a Chapter without losing any health.

For an easy time with this trophy, replay a chapter using Chapter Select on Easy difficulty.

This trophy is easiest to earn in Chapter 1 since its a quick and easy stage with relatively low enemies. Remember bullets always take off your shield before it does so to your health. Melee attacks always take off health except when you block. Also note that stepping in fires and getting hit by the engines also counts as getting hit.

Since some people have been reporting that the trophy isn't unlocking them for Chapter 1, try it again on Chapter 6 (like I suggested for Invincible) or on Chapter 9 (suggested by Mitsuru Kirijo). In Chapter 9, you can defeat all of the enemies from range using Stun Blasts and Plasma Shots. It is worth mentioning that the damage you receive when you're on the boat does not count as damage done to Monkey.

Again, similar to Invincible, restarting a checkpoint also works. Just make sure that if you get hit, restart your checkpoint quickly so a save doesn't occur.

If in the event this trophy doesn't unlock but you're certain you've done a level without losing health, delete your save file (preferably earning everything else and backing up your save via USB), and play through Chapter 1 again. The trophy should then unlock no problem.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/488/24.jpgLover, Not a Fighter (B)

Sneak past a group of enemies without alerting them.

In Chapter 3 near the beginning, you'll come across a section where Trip suggests you sneak past a group of Mechs rather than confront them. Jump on top of the truck and make your way across the wooden platforms. When Trip needs your help jumping over a gap, do so and be prepared to haul her back up (such a nuisance right?). After you get to the other side, Trip will comment on how that was "Too close". The trophy should unlock right after.

NOTE: There is a lone Orb that you will not be able to get if you skip this part. Replay the chapter after the trophy unlocks if you wish to get it now.

Tyger7 shows you how to do it in the second sneaking section in Chapter 2:

Tech Orb Location Tips

http://oyster.ignimgs.com/mediawiki/apis.ign.com/enslaved/thumb/9/95/Enslaved-hiddenorbs.jpg/468px-Enslaved-hiddenorbs.jpg

100% Tech Orbs Videos are now available.

Thanks to applesandwich for notifying me of their existence, videos goes to JeffDawes1984 of YouTube.

Most of your time with this game will be spent looking for these annoying collectibles called Tech Orbs. I have listed some helpful resources which you can use in your quest for 100% completion, as well as some tips for the more harder to find ones.

If you wish to just use the videos instead of my wall of text, by all means go for it.

As a general rule, LOOK EVERYWHERE. Check every corner, behind everything, and generally just scouting around. Though most of them are on the way, a lot of them are hidden in secret platforming sections, or obscured by the environment making them hard to see.

Make sure you've reached a checkpoint before you quit a chapter in order for the Orbs you've obtained to save.

Thank you Cheattaro and among many others for their tips on a few of these locations!

Helpful Resources:

 • My awesome friend Savenger has made a guide that lists detailed locations for each and every Orb in his The Complete Tech Orb Location Guide. Props to him for the amazing effort!
 • There are no in-game maps, but you can use the maps in "Orb Location Images" (courtesy of GODCHILD1020) for your own reference
 • IGN's Tech Orb Guide also lists some hard to find ones, but not in very good detail.

Tips are as follows:

Chapter 1: The Escape (N/A)
None, enjoy the introductory stage!

Chapter 2: The Old City (100%)
1. A few are up the escalators to the right of the starting area. Do this platforming session for a bunch of them!
 2. Drop back down and facing Trip, there are some ledges that you can climb to the left. There's some behind the pillar!
 3. After the cutscene, overlooking the second big area of this chapter, backtrack through the broken gate and look to your left. Orb's are hidden behind the bushes and trees here.
 4. After dispatching the waves of enemies in the big second area, look around. Orbs will be scattered around: underneath the bridge you came through, as well as in and out of cement pipes and metal crates.
 5. After the leaving from the above area, before you lift the crates and enter an area where Trip uses her EMP for the first time, turn around and rotate the camera to see a ridiculously obscured ledge with Orbs hiding about. Thanks to Maldron for pointing this out!
 6. On the way back after going across a bridge that Trip helped you out with her Decoy, dispatch the two Gunner Mechs and on your way back, look behind the health pack for an area where can drop down.
 7. Similar to the above, backtrack across the bridge and you should see Orbs floating above on the upper levels of the building. Use the metal beam to climb up. Thanks Cheattaro for the tip!
 8. When you're chasing with the Dragonfly Uncharted style, when you're climbing the branches, there is a building you can jump into to your right.
 9. After Trip scans out the mines for the first time and you have to carry her, there is an enclosed area to the left between two mines.
 10. When you reach the second mine infested area, after going through a bus, go left. There's a metal beam here that you can also use to jump on top of the bridge where many more Orb reside.
 11. The Orbs on the ground in this mine area are a bit tricky to describe, as they're laying around everywhere. Only suggestion I can provide is look for opportunities where you can jump down and look for Orbs laying between mines, pillars, and objects.
 12. As soon as you kill the Mech under the bridge, there's a truck to your left that you can climb on top of. Additional Orbs lie further down the truck on a walkway you can jump to.
 13. After making your way across to another sneaking section, look around this area, particularly the second floor accessible via metal beams.
 14. Drop down back to ground level under the bridge where the Turret is and go to the left instead for a health pack and a Orb. There's a few behind a pillar and between 2 mines.
 15. During the part where you make your way across to a 2nd Gun Turret, turn left at the fork instead for some Orbs.
 16. Orbs lay on each side of the area during the Demolition Mech battle. Make sure you get them DURING the battle, else you'll go on to the next chapter!

Chapter 3: The Metal Tower (100%)
1. As soon as you start, search behind you.
 2. Go right into the building, checking each room and climbing up a ledge to a metal grating with additional Orbs.
 3. Back out, Orbs will be hiding/lying around to the side (look around!).
 4. Near where the Mechs lay idle, 2 Orbs lay beside them.*
 5. After moving the object and climbing to the top of the building, go to your left behind another blockade. Go behind it to a corridor for a few more hidden ones.
 6. After climbing up the ladder, enter the room to your right. There's a few on the metal grated balcony.
 7. When you're first introduced to the Gun Scout, there's an Orb hiding behind a cement block to the right. I some how missed this one on my first run.
 8. There's a part involving a Glitched Orb, right after taking care of the Gun Scouts, Trip will crawl through a small hole in the wall forcing you to find your own way around. Climb the platforms and when you're looking down towards Trip, you should see the Orb to your right against some rubble. This Orb will sometimes disappear as soon as you drop down, so try to drop on top of it. Thanks Swedgen for letting me know!
 9. After Trip hacks open the door, there's a few behind a big blue metal crate.
 10. Before you go and detach another Gun Scout's arm, in the area with all of the deactivated Mechs, climb the platforms to the left, going across a long pipe for another batch of Orbs.
 11. Before climbing the water tower to the Turret, note that there's a platform you can jump to on your right via metal beams.
 12. During the part where you're jumping down floors (where you obtain the Stun Blast), make sure you look around each floor. There's two sides on the second to last floor, that's accessible from the floor above.

* Will not be available if you're going for the Lover, Not a Fighter trophy.

Chapter 4: Wherefore Art Thou? (100%)
1. As you begin the chapter, search around.
 2. Climbing up the building, when you reach your first fork, go to your left first for a Mask and a few Orbs.
 3. Go right at your second fork, after dispatching the Electro Mech. You should have picked up 3 sets of Orbs.
 4. After almost falling to your death on that neon sign, you'll reach an area with Gunner Mechs shooting at you. Look around here, especially in between the cement barriers. To get to where the Mechs are, go to the top right corner of this area in which ledges will be available for you to climb.
 5. First the neon sign, now the crane?! Anyways after getting rid off the Dog and climbing back down to get Trip, there will be a slightly hidden room to the right as soon as you get off the crane. There's a vial and some Orbs.
 6. After you drop down a platform for the first time, before you drop off a second time, there's a room with Orbs right behind you. Drop down this level and climb back up on the other side. A bunch of Orbs are behind you here as well.
 7. After you drop down another level from the above, climb over the cement blocks.
 8. When you're finally out of the building, with the metal bridge you made to your right, there's an Orb "off screen" behind you.
 9. When you're running away from the Dog, a few Orbs will be on your right.
 10. When tasked to get the Power Cell, you'll be forced to deal with some Mechs including an Electro Mech. Once you take care of them, make sure you look around for more Orbs. Take note that there's a ditch you can jump down underneath the bridge in this room.
 11. There's also a few behind some rubble in the "stage" area, with all the building props and archways.
 12. When you're lining up the scaffolding, lift the green platforms and blue platforms in such a way that you can use them to get to the Orbs on the second floor to the back.

Chapter 5: The Crash Site (100%)
1. You begin the chapter in a big open area, so it's kinda hard to describe. Just make sure look under bridges, between and beside rocks, and jump atop of the platforms. I repeat, LOOK AROUND! Your missing few % is most likely in this area. There are also quite a few Orbs near the sides of the Bridge. I missed some during my first run through here.
 2. In addition, look for a ship on the left hand side of this area that has a yellow gas tank sticking out of it. Jump on top of the nearby platform and blow it up with a Plasma Blast for some more. Thanks to Maldron for this find!
 3. When you're climbing up the Bridge, when you get to the red metal gratings, there's an additional walkway you can climb to your left.
 4. When you're atop of the bridge, look around both the left and right paths. Make sure you go back to where you and Trip split up (where she crawled underneath a truck). There are also some underneath the Turret, behind a overturned bus.
 5. When you get to the part where you have to help Trip get into a tank like vehicle, there's a whole bunch of them hiding inside a giant red crate. When Trip drives off, Orbs will on your left, then right, as you hide behind it running across the bridge.
 6. In the arena when you're facing the Dog, search around.

Chapter 6: Village Approach (100%)
1. When you begin, make sure you look around. There's also an area to the left that you can explore for some more Orbs and ammo.
 2. When you're told to lower the red metal bridge so Trip can cross, run up it instead for a vine in which you can climb up to. On top of the platform will be a Mask and a Orb.

A pretty straightforward chapter, a lot of them are on the way so you should have no problem getting 100%.

Chapter 7: Finding Trip (100%)
1. In the beginning, there are some hidden behind a red couch.
 2. When you get to your 1st Mech with a Detachable Gun Arm, there is a very well hidden Orb on a upper L shaped edge before dropping down to said Mech. It's kinda obscured by the glow of the orange lantern making it sort of invisible. Thanks Cheattaro for pointing this out!
 3. During your chase for Tripitaka, you'll fall off a metal platform. After almost getting impaled by the metal supports, there will be Orbs between these buildings as you make your way down the street. There should be at least one Orb between each building.
 4. Make sure you climb up the houses here as well. One's that are particular hidden are in the back of this area, before you kick open the gate, behind a Red and Blue house, there are a few on the balcony to the back.
 5. When you get to the big open area with a giant pole in the middle wmake sure you look around every corner. Some are quite hidden with the sunlight reflecting the bushes. Take note that there's an Orb in the middle platform, as well as one that's hidden in the shadows in the grass to your right from which you entered. Make sure you do all this before you lift the gate to Trip. Doing so begins the next chapter!

If you've been following this guide, or have gotten most if not all of the Orbs yourself, you'll unlock Tech Collector somewhere along this chapter.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiPyIr-0LME]YouTube - Enslaved Chapter 7 100% Tech Orbs and Masks Part 1/1[/ame]

Chapter 8: Gaining Access (100%)
1. A new set of Orbs await you despite you finishing Chapter 7 with all of them. Again look around every corner for those particular hidden Orbs.
 2. There are more Orbs in the little area where you rescued at the end of Chapter 7, along with a Mask. Make sure you do all this BEFORE you go and meet Trip.
 3. When tasked to go under the bridge to the Windmill so you can lower a grating for Trip, take note that there is a platform to the left where you can jump. There is a single Orb with some ammo here.
 4. Look around the Windmill for Orbs before proceeding. There are a few hidden on the cliff sides behind some rocks.
 5. When you get to the top of the Windmill, look behind you for a place to jump down for a Health Vial and some Orbs.

Chapter 9: The Wasteland (100%)
1. Right away look around this area, particularly the crevice on your left with a Mask between it.
 2. When you get to your first Cloud section, look around every rock, corner that you can possibly think of. Some are quite hidden.
 3. In the second Cloud section, do the same thing.
 4. When you're forced to get off the boat because your Headband triggered the scanning grid, make sure you go back to where you entered this area from for some Orbs.
 5. In the area to the right where you make your way to the first Turret, carefully navigate your way through the mines in this area. There's a particular hidden one behind a mechanical arm.
 6. Around the area where the second Turret is, again look around the corners, going in and between the rock platforms.
 7. During the chase with a Dog, the Orbs will appear in the following order:

 • Straight away, they will appear in the middle
 • Then to your left, up a ramp.
 • Before the ramp ends, there are some off the ramp to your right (you'll have to play through this section twice, choosing between going up the ramp or traversing to the right of the ramp
 • To the left between a gap in the mines
 • A bunch more are on the right after the above
 • When you get to the tunnel before initiating a Takedown on the Dog, there are a few Orbs to the right against the rock wall

Thanks again Cheattaro for these locations.

You might have to play this section a few times to get them all.

Chapter 10: The Titan Factory (100%)
1. You'll probably wanna wait till your second playthough in this first area to get your Orbs since you're probably trying to get the You Swine trophy. Whether you decide to do it now or later, just take your time looking for Orb's underneath and on the Titan. You can still however, look around for the Orbs after the race.
 2. When you're in the green room with all the gears and pipes, after Trip helps you back down with the hydraulics, there's a metal pillar you can climb up to the left. Also, when you're at the top, make sure you go back to where you threw Trip up for some more Orbs and a Mask!
 3. Go back to where you jumped off the hydraulics and look up. There's a ledge you can use to reach the walkway above.
 4. When Trip gets ambushed and uses an EMP, rush to her and deal with those Mechs. Before you chuck her up to the platform above, jump down to the right. There's an Orb hidden by the sunlight here.

Chapter 11: The Old Battlefield (100%)
1. Make sure you look around after disposing the waves of Mechs in the beginning, climbing up ledges and checking corners.
 2. Coming out of that room where the lights went out, you'll run across some mechanical arms. There's a slight fork to the back of the area with a platform you can jump up to. Look for some pipes here that you can climb up for some more Orbs and a Mask.
 3. Make sure you get the Orbs around the arena when you face the Rhino before beating him.
 4. Again, like the chase with the Dog, there are Orbs scattered about during your chase through the canyon. You probably won't get them all on your first run, so just get whatever you can and come back for the rest later.
 5. Take note that there are some Orbs near the end of the chase. Get them before initiating a Takedown on the Rhino. Thanks Cheattaro for letting me know.

Chapter 12: The Dam (100%)
1. Look for Orbs on the walkways here, making sure to check every level/floor.
 2. When you're adjusting the platforms on rails in order for the Submarine to get across, before flipping the first switch, the platform's red lights should be facing forward. Jump on and have Trip move you forward. She should have brought you to the back towards a tunnel where Orbs and a Mask lie in there.
 3. After saving the Submarine from getting getting destroyed a second time, just right after Pigsy swallows back his hurl , you'll have to defend the submarine again. Here, look for ledges to climb on to to get to the upper levels.

Chapter 13: Grand Theft (100%)
1. There are a number of Orbs on the walkways and the propellers as you make your way to the second Leviathan Leg. You won't be able to get to them till after you destroy it and make your way back. On the way back, make sure you drop all the way down after the first 3 fire vents to get the Orbs on the propellers!
 2. As per above, there is another set on the other set of propellers, get them before you get on the lift with Pigsy.
 3. When you're destroying the 3rd Leviathan Leg, atop of a giant gear, jump down behind you for a hidden Orb.
 4. There's also a few more Orbs on the lower walkways. Make sure you get them before you destroy the 4th Leg.

Chapter 14: Pyramid (100%)
1. A lot of Orbs are straightforward as most of them are on the way.
 2. After the third set of leeches, before jumping over a platform through a giant rotating gear, look around the gratings here.
 3. From the above, go through the door and climb up the pipe. Before you go back outside, turn around. Orbs will be lying on these gratings. Thank you TheLawOfZen for the heads up!
 4. When you head back outside, Pigsy will fire the Main Cannon a second time. Look behind you for some Orbs and a walkway to jump down for Mask #26.
 5. When you get to the top of the Leviathan, before defeating the Mechs, check both sides of the metal gratings.

Mask Locations

http://static5.gamespot.com/uploads/scale_super/mig/4/1/5/9/1584159-975239_20100930_025.jpg

There are a total of 26 Masks in the game, at least one in each chapter with the exception of Chapter's 1 and 2.

Whether you want to look for the Masks using my text or the video, or a combination of both, below are the locations for each chapter:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtncQ3uaH7o]YouTube - Enslaved: Mask Collectibles Guide[/ame]

Chapter 3: The Metal Tower (3/3)
Total Masks: 3

 1. Part of the story, impossible to miss. Mask #1 will be right after you jump over the metal gratings.
 2. During the Sentry Turret section, after getting getting Trip to drop the ladder, climb up to the metal gratings. Once you're at the top, turn your camera and look back. Mask #2 will be on a metal platform just above Trip.
 3. Mask #3 is on your way out the hacked door, after taking care of the Sentry Turret. Can't miss it.

Chapter 4: Wherefore Art Thou? (3/3)
Total Masks: 3

 1. In the beginning when you're climbing up the tower, when you reach your first fork, go left instead. After jumping a few beams, pipes, and ledges, you'll reach Mask #4 along with some Orbs.
 2. After the section with the Shield Gunner Mechs, you'll jump down a hole in the building. Mask #5 will be right in front of you. Part of the story, can't miss it!
 3. Another Mask that's part of the story. After Trip reaches the Power Cell, Mask #6 will appear on the stage with all of the wooden building props with the archways.

Chapter 5: The Crash Site (3/3)
Total Masks: 3

 1. After you drop the blue crate down, you'll be tasked to bring down a truck to continue. Before you do, on your Cloud, search around the back of the area. Mask #7 is hiding on a island behind a rock along with some Plasma Ammo.
 2. When you're climbing up the bridge, when you get to the red metal gratings, make your way right. Instead of jumping on some metal beams to continue forward, look to your right for a pipe to drop down. Mask #8 awaits you here.
 3. Part of the story, you'll earn it upon disabling the Turret and the Mechs on the bridge. That makes Mask #9.

Chapter 6: Village Approach (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. When tasked to lower the red metal bridge for Trip, before lowering it, run up it instead to climb on a vine. On top will be a platform with Mask #10 and an Orb.
 2. When you're making your way to Trip, on your way to the second watch tower, you'll reach a platform with one Electro Mech and 3 Shield Mechs. Once you take care of them, look over to the side of the cliff in which you jump down to. Mask #11 will be there. The platform I'm referring to is just right beside the second tower.

Chapter 7: Finding Trip (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. When you begin the chapter, climb up the first pipe you see. Swing across some metal beams and you'll see Mask #12 beside a red satellite dish.
 2. After falling off a metal platform and nearly getting impaled, you'll have to run through a street with two Gunner Mechs shooting at you. When you see some Plasma Ammo and Stun Ammo on your right, just right under the Mechs, there should be a red and blue house to your left that you can go behind. Mask #13 is hiding behind the building.

If you've gotten all of the Masks up to this point, you will unlock Mask Collector.

Chapter 8: Gaining Access (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. Where you ended Chapter 7, go back to where you rescued Trip. A bunch of Orbs await in this little area along with Mask #14.
 2. You'll see the Mask during the cutscene...But anyways to get to it, after dropping the sail on the first Windmill Blade, make your way to the White Building and grab onto another blade (only one of the blades allows you to jump on from this building). Have Trip rotate the Windmill so that she brings you to the Red Building. Get off and get on the other Blade. Have Trip stop the Windmill back at that first building and jump off to claim Mask #15.

Chapter 9: The Wasteland (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. Right in the beginning of the chapter, Mask #16 is to the left between 2 rocks.
 2. After dismembering the two Turrets, your boat will come to a stop in which Monkey has to move an obstacle outta the way. It's part of the story, you can't miss it! Grab Mask #17 before moving the metal scraps outta the way.

Chapter 10: The Titan Factory (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. After some platforming as you make your way towards the second item, you'll meet back up with Pigsy and Trip after jumping down from the hydraulics in which you had Trip move around in order for you to make your way down. Go back to where you threw Trip up a platform in the beginning of this section for Mask #18.
 2. Can't miss it! When you're in the area where you're on your way to obtain the Heat Sink, Mask #19 is behind the Turret you have to neutralize.

Chapter 11: The Old Battlefield (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. After disposing the waves of enemies, near the back of the area to your left will be a platform you can climb up to. Turn the corner to the left where a Green Vial is and you should see Mask #20 along with some Orbs on a metal walkway.
 2. After coming out of the room in which the power ran out, you'll run across some mechanical arms/rails. When you get to the end, turn around and look for a platform you can jump to. There should be a pipe here in which you can climb up to a walkway with Mask #21 on top.

Chapter 12: The Dam (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. During the part where you have to rotate "train-like cylinders" outta the way in order to move the Submarine, rotate them so that when you command Trip to move the cylinders forward, it'll go the other way. Jump onto it and ride your way into the tunnel. Mask #22 will be inside.
 2. When the submarine is getting dropped into the water, you'll face a Boxer Mech and an Electro Mech. After taking care of them, go through the doorway in which they came through and Mask #23 will be hiding behind some boxes.

Chapter 13: Grand Theft (2/2)
Total Masks: 2

 1. After blowing up two metal grates so that you can jump and go on through, you will reach an area with a giant red gear to your right. You've probably noticed the white glow already but to get there, simply climb up the pipe in front of you and make your way up then down for Mask #24
 2. Following Pigsy right after that, go left through a duct way. When you get to the rotating propellers, make your way to the left instead of the right. Drop down and Mask #25 is yours for the taking.

Chapter 14: Pyramid (1/1)
Total Masks: 1

 1. When you're at the walkway where Pigsy fires the Main Cannon for the second time, defeat the 3 Mechs you face here. Once they're taken care of, look behind you for a walkway in which you can jump down to in the back. Pick up Mask #26 to complete the collection!

If you have been following this guide, you should have unlocked Mask Curator for obtaining all 26 Masks in the game.

Thanks for the guide BreakSkin. From your Roadmap step 1, it sounds like you can change the difficulty of the game at chapter select, is that right? That's good because I like to beat the games on Hard and then drop the level down on chapter select to finish collecting stuff and getting situational trophies like the Bad Doggy one.

You know this is an invitation to undress, right?

Couldn't help but notice this typo. Gotta watch out for those indecency claims. ;)

A lot of people wanna see me undress. I'm sure you do too :p

Yes exactly.

If time lets me, I'll be finishing the Orbs list and Mask list early tomorrow. I'm only human, so give me time!

Just from personal experience I'd recommend doing "Matador" on Easy. On Hard, the Rhino seems to have an increased turning radius, and by "increased turning radius" i mean "one time he did a complete 180 and got me from behind." On easy, he appeared to only be capable of slight movement to the right or left, and I didn't even have to try more than once to get the trophy.

I'm wondering the same thing about Bad Doggy. Then again, maybe I was too carried away with the Orbs. I'll test to see if its easier on Easy for both of these as well.

Masks and Orb Tips have been updated till Chapter 11. I should have the lists done by tomorrow afternoon :D.

[*]Bullets chip away Monkey's health before it does to his health. Melee attacks however will damage you unless you block them.

I think you mean "Bullets chip away Monkey's shield before it does to his health."

Sorry, didn't mean to be nit-picky, just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Thanks for the guide btw, I've been referring to it sparingly until I finish the game. It looks good so far and will deffinately be coming back for help on the Plat. Keep up the good work.

L8r!

Breadskin say: An important thing to note is that there is a New Game+ feature. Everything you’ve earned such as Orbs collected, Mask's collected, and Upgrades purchased on your first playthrough will carry over on Chapter SelectThose that started the game on Easy will easily be able to breeze through on Hard with all their power ups.
