Intro:

Elemental Monster -Online Card Game- is a card game. Unlike other card games where you make decks of many cards, in Elemental Monster you pick only as many as six. In other card games you usually draw cards from a deck or have cards that you hold in your hand, Elemental has neither of these things but it does have a luck factor and cards that you keep hidden from your opponent. The game is called Elemental Monster because in the game you summon monsters and they all have one of the different colored elements which all interact with each other, each one is good against one element and bad against another.

Now you may have noticed that when you bought the game that they had other items listed, you don't need to buy those. They are not expansions and just like the money in the overview are not required to obtain the platinum, they will make the game easier and will make it so you get the platinum faster but you can spend as much money or none at all and still get 100% of the trophies in the game. Either way, have fun playing

Walkthrough:

I highly recommend you play most of the single player, if not all of it, so you can get a hold of some good cards and a grasp of how the game works. In doing so, you should unlock all the bronze trophies minus one or two, World (which can be unlocked any time by simply playing one multiplayer match) and Fusion Novice which you can go back to get at any point.

Here is the order in which you should unlock all the single player progression trophies:

Monster Summon, First Victory, Beginner, Light Jewel, Serpentis, Offense Formation, Fire Jewel, Hydrae, Defense Formation, Water Jewel, Witch's Abode, Wing Formation, Dark Jewel, Leonis, Separate Formation, Wood Jewel, Scorpie, Veteran and Elemental Master to finish up the single player.

Card Collector should pop some time in between chapters seven and ten, Legendary Master is completely random and Practitioner will come simply by playing both the single and multiplayer mode.

Now assuming you have all the single player complete, you should be fully capable of tackling the online trophies. Ignoring the bronze that was already mentioned the next trophy you are most likely to obtain is Professional by winning 100 matches. The 50 title trophy Scholar should be unlocked at some point in between that one and hitting class 100; Warrior. By this point you should have spent roughly over $150 on tickets to play online which is only a fourth of the tickets you'll need. You'll need to buy roughly $300 more in tickets to play online if you want to unlock the last two gold trophies Avatar Collector and Title Collector which are for unlocking 30 avatars and 100 titles respectively.

Do all of that and congrats, you just unlocked one of the hardest and THE most expensive platinum on all of the PS3.

Notes:

-You must be signed into the PlayStation Network to play the single player or multiplayer.

-If the PlayStation Store is not accessible in the region your account is made for, you will be unable to buy tickets to play online and will have to unlock tickets from playing tournaments. Tournaments do not count towards any trophies and won't always give you tickets, sometimes they will give you cards.

-Without buying or earning any additional tickets from online tournaments (you start with ten) you can get a max of 64% which nets you all of but four gold trophies and the platinum of course.

Before you leave the Witch's Abode you will notice two places on the map read "New", for this trophy you must move all the way back and click the other new location. You may or may not have enough duplicate cards to get this trophy at this time, simply come back later. It requires five of the same card if it's common, four for uncommon, three for rare and two for legendary. I suggest you only do this once if you're aiming to get the Card Collector trophy, afterwards you can fuse as many card as you like.

You should hit 100 cards sometime between beating the Demon King the first time and fighting him the second time. Duplicate cards do count.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/03.jpg Legendary Card (S)

Acquire one card of Legendary rarity.

I unlocked the trophy when I got a Rare card, not a Legendary one. I have heard of someone unlocking this when obtaining a Super Rare card. There is no sure fire way of unlocking this, it's possible to unlock a Rare card or greater before beating the Demon King the first time but it's more likely that you'll get it between the two fights if you're lucky. If you're unlucky you won't get one playing single player or multiplayer for a long while.

SINGLEPLAYER cont.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/03.jpg Legendary Master (S)

Defeat the Demon King in Singleplayer Mode.

You fight him twice in the game, this trophy is not awarded for the first time you beat him.

This game gives you a pretty good MANDATORY tutorial when you start up the game, even if you just want to play multiplayer or learned the game by playing at your buddies house you'll have to learn how to summon and win a game just like everyone else.

The game is pretty direct, you start at one dot on a map and upon completing it you unlock a new dot labeled "New" that you have to move to. You get rewarded a single random card after every match and two random cards after two out of three round matches.

At the middle of the first several chapters you'll unlock a new deck formation and upon completing a chapter you'll unlock a new jewel which will power up creatures that are of the same color as it. Then you will unlock a new chapter and receive a trophy upon starting the new chapter during the text based cut scene.

This guide I made details all your opponents cards and play field settings up to the final chapter:

Elemental Monster -Online Card Game- Singleplayer Opponent Guide

For the final chapter see Elemental Master.

Doing everything else in the game up to this second fight against the Demon King is mainly just trial and error with your deck configuration and trying to counter your opponents, but for the Demon King, he uses a usually straight forward black deck. So come with a lot of non-white monsters that know white attacks or come with whatever color you prefer plus a Paintman that can change his strongest card into a type that you can do double damage to.

Due to the randomness of the cards everyone gets, you'll have to figure out what cards are good for you and what play-style works for you. You'll need to make multiple decks, some for just a single opponent. The developers give you twenty different deck set slots that you can toggle with :l1: & :r1: in the deck edit screen, so don't be afraid to experiment.

If you're having trouble in the game, try building a deck with three Gargoyles, they can be found within The Legend Begins set. Their first attack Evil Eye has a one-in-four chance of doing an insta-kill. The second attack; Curse of Death, kills off your Gargoyle and insta-kills your opponents standby monster.

His SP skill can be situational and its reverse effect is only useful against decks that use mostly white creatures. You'll need a fourth card for this deck and pretty much anything can work. The field formation can be anything, but split would be the best and the jewel color should obviously be black.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/04.jpg Veteran (G)

Win 100 consecutive battles.

This trophy is for beating 11-1, which has you do 100 rounds against random decks. Much like a regular three round match you get to choose what deck you want to use however unlike a regular three round match if you lose even a single round you will have to start all over again. So to save you a lot of trouble after every round you should select "Suspend" and then hit "Yes". Doing this will save what round you're on and send you back to the map menu. Now if you're ever about to lose a battle quit out of the game to the XMB by pressing the :ps: button and you can start up again at whatever round you last suspended on.

Here's a good deck that should help you to complete this:

  • Jewel Color: Red
  • Formation: Split
  • Top: Gladiator, Paintman Green
  • Flip: Flame Knight, Power Antares

Always start the match by summoning Gladiator. Keep using Evil Slash (unless your opponent is green then obviously use Crimson) as you should be able to get two hits or possibly three and least likely four hits. Then Flame Knight will flip and deal 15 splash damage to your opponents active monster. Summon Flame Knight and clean up the monster that killed off Gladiator. Now depending on what your opponent has you may want to consider using your Paintman Green's SP skill. What that will do is turn your opponents active creature green and kill off your Paintman so your Flame Knight can do 50 damage but if you can hold up on using Paintman till you have seven mana then you can also get a five attack boost from the card he flips to and do a total of 60 damage. Then simply clean up with Power Antares if Flame Knight goes down. If Flame Knight does die before you can use Paintman, simply either use Headbutt and then have him kill himself or just have him kill himself judging by whatever you believe to be the best option and then proceed to clean up with Power Antares.

To make it a little easier when finding these card in your collection for you deck Flame Knight is a red common card, Paintman Green is a green common card and both Gladiator and Power Antares are uncommon red cards. In place of Power Antares you could also use the uncommon black Anubis or the uncommon white Gohen Ultra (regular Gohen is also a possibility but Ultra or either of the two other cards is definitely preferred). If you played in any tournaments in multiplayer and managed to unlock the Super Rare card Evil-eyed Gladiator he easily trumps all of these other card for that fourth spot. Regardless of whom you choose the strategy pretty much stays the same.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/03.jpg Dragon Master (S)

Acquire Expansion Pack, Legendary Dragon.

You get three of these after you complete the 11-1 100 man battle. You can also get this by playing one match online and then selecting it or by purchasing the booster box from the PSN.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/03.jpg Practitioner (S)

Win 100 battles.

After having defeated the Demon King for the second time and unlocked the Legendary Master trophy you should have about 58 matches won. Finish up the rest of the game and you should have 71 completed matches. Lastly you can either replay easy matches and unlock some more cards or you can go finish this trophy up online.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/04.jpg Elemental Master (G)

Clear all stages in Singleplayer Mode.

The game ramps up insanely in difficulty after you beat the Demon King for the second time.

You unlock four different possible fights at the start of the new location.

  • 11-1 is a 100 man battle. See the Veteran trophy for more info on this one.
  • 11-2 is a three round red themed fight.
  • 11-3 is a three round blue themed fight.
  • 11-4 is a three round green themed fight.

For each of the themed fights they have one or two random cards that are not apart of their theme and each of them has at least one deck composition that has a split field formation that has a flip card that will change your fields jewel to match their color. Not a big hamper, but if one of your cards relies on a different jewel color then this could greatly hamper you late into that round.

The best bet to beat the first three themed decks is to use that same exact color theme. I used the deck that was detailed in the Veteran trophy strategy and easily completed 11-2.

Using this deck and strategy should greatly help with 11-3:

  • Jewel Color: Blue
  • Formation: Split
  • Top: Typhon, Naga
  • Flip: Nothing

Start by summoning Typhon and then during the first turn use Naga's SP skill and then just spam Earth Breaker. This should take care of one or two monsters, Poseidon being the main threat falls quickly to Typhon's effect of Earth Break which does a extra 30 damage. Once Typhon dies Naga should be able to clean up easily with her green attack and having faster speed then everything else the opponent has minus the Blue Monolith which does a small amount of damage and on top of which gets cut in half due to Naga being part green.

For 11-4 I don't remember exactly how the match played out I just remember I used my main deck which I used for most of the game up to this point:

  • Jewel Color: Green
  • Formation: Offense
  • Top: Lizardman, Flame Knight, Gaia
  • Flip: Empty, Phoenix, Empty

Summon Gaia, spam away Thousand Suns and when needed use Earth's Poem, when Gaia gets low on health swap to Lizardman for an attack or two and then swap to Flame Knight and let him die so Phoeneix will come out and heal Gaia and Lizardman. Then simply clean up.

Once you beat each of the themed fights you unlock more themed fights. The blue spaced ones continue the same theme and you can use the same decks. (11-7 uses red, 11-8 uses blue and 11-9 uses green just in case you forgot which unlocked which)

For both white deck opponents (11-5 and 11-10) use the standard Sphinx deck build.

  • Jewel Color: White
  • Formation: Split
  • Top: Sphinx, Grimoire
  • Flip: Empty, Valkyrie

Start by summoning Sphinx and using it's only damaging attack along with Grimoire's SP skill. Keep attacking till Sphinx dies and then clean up with Valkyrie.

Now unlike all the other opponents, the two black deck opponents require two different decks to be used. This first one should be used for 11-6.

  • Jewel Color: White
  • Formation: Split
  • Top: Cockatrice, Gohen
  • Flip: Gohen, Undead Knight

Keep using Gohen till he dies and Undead will flip to do some damage. Next use Cockatrice till he dies and he should lower the opponents speed enough for your flipped Gohen to be able to finish off whatever is active without taking any damage and should be able to finish up.

For the dark boss (11-11), simply use the deck mentioned in the Veteran trophy walkthrough.

Now for the final boss. He has a crazy card that can instantly kill anything and it has over a hundred HP, luckily here's a super easy strategy to defeat them.

  • Jewel Color: White
  • Formation: Offense
  • Top: Leprechaun, Cockatrice, Cockatrice
  • Flip: Empty, Doppelganger, Empty

Start with the Cockatrice that has nothing under it and use Whirlwind, then use your middle Cockatrice and use Whirlwind again. They both should have lowered the opponents God's speed two points and it's health should be 50, now your transformed Doppelganger should be able to easily take out your opponents God and the rest of the creatures shouldn't be a threat. Do this one more time and you beat the game.

MULTIPLAYER

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/02.jpg World (B)

Conduct battle once in Multiplayer Mode.

Simple enough, play an online match in any mode and regardless if you win or lose you get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/04.jpg Professional (G)

Win 100 battles in the Ranking Match.

You must play ranked matches to get this. Best two out of three round matches only count as one win. You get one or two cards depending on how many rounds you play. This is the easiest gold trophy in the bunch and should be unlocked on your way to unlocking the other ones. If you opponent quits out you will then play against a CPU player, this still counts like a regular match against a real player and you will still get EXP and cards.

If you can't find a player by randomly searching for a while, the game will offer you to play against a CPU opponent, these count towards this trophy but these matches (unlike the ones where you or the opponent disconnect) will not unlock any new cards or experience towards leveling up. In order to fight the CPU you still need to have at least one ticket in order to search for a ranked match.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/03.jpg Scholar (S)

Obtain 50 different titles.

After completing the single player you should have 48 titles, so by only using ten tickets you should hit class 15 at the least and unlock two more titles and get this trophy. You gain more EXP from playing more rounds, so best out of three round matches are suggested.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/04.jpg Warrior (G)

Become Class 100.

It will take about 505,000 EXP to reach this class, which is roughly 300 or so matches.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/04.jpg Avatar Collector (G)

Obtain 30 different avatars.

You don't unlock any avatars during the single player although you do start with a dozen. When you hit class 100 you should have 18 avatars unlocked with the next 12 unlocking between that class and class 220.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/869/04.jpg Title Collector (G)

Obtain 100 different titles.

You unlock a good portion of titles by playing the single player and the fallowing information will assume you have completed it. At class 100 you should have 58 titles unlocked with the other 42 unlocking between that class and class 430. It's possible to unlock it at class 420 so at the LEAST you should be shooting for 3.8 million EXP or roughly 2,400 matches. This should be the final trophy you unlock.

Boosting this and all the other online trophies:

Either coordinating with another player in the boosting thread HERE or just by getting lucky and actually finding another random player on the dead multiplayer, at the very start if you pull out your Ethernet cable (or turning off your router if using wifi) during deck selection you will get matched up with a CPU opponent that will use a random deck.

At the end you will still get EXP and cards as long as you sign back in to the PlayStation Network before the match is over. You need a ticket in order to get matched up. Your boosting partner/random opponent will also get a CPU opponent.

The intro and roadmap are completed, I will post it up when I am done with the multiplayer trophy segment. Should be done in a day or two.

When you're done with the guide let me know and I'll reopen. We don't leave incomplete guides like this open.

Acquire Expansion Pack, Legendary Dragon.

You unlock this booster pack as a option half way through the game. You can also get this by playing one match online or purchasing the booster box from the PSN.

This needs to be edited. It's not halfway through the game it's halfway through the 100 man battle.

Also on warrior trophy 400 matches is a pretty large number. At class 100 I had 270 total matches. 155 wins with 115 loses. I would just change it to 300. Up to you though.

Are you saying the last title is unlocked at 420 and not 430? Or are you just giving a benchmark?

not sure if you want to put this in the guide or not but i achieved my 50 titles at rank 15 or 20 max after getting all the single player trophies so it is possible to get this off using only your 10 free tickets

and for the 100 consecutive battles, just beat the 100 man battle for the trophy rather than quit after each loss, you have to do it anyway to clear single player and i dont think the way you mentioned works anyway since i had 1 win going into 11-1 and i didnt get the trophy til i won the 100man battle rather than at 99

Are you sure about that? 50 titles at only rank 20? How the heck did that happen.

By the math here - 3.8 million to hit rank 420, 100 tiles at rank 430, 505k exp per 300 matches - it looks like about 2400 matches to hit rank 430 and unlock the 100 titles. 2400 matches = 2400 tickets.

At $20 per 100 tickets, $440 to hit the 2400 matches and 100 titles.

That is one expensive trophy.

EXACTLY!!! I have been trying to tell people this for weeks now. I have even given very detailed information on this subject in other post and for this guide. But I guess they seem to detailed???? Lol. Anywho I'm done rambling about this game. I've tried to help and I've given info. I've done my part to help the community. Mcnichoj it would be correct to edit the credits section of this guide and at least give credit where it's due. Peace out all. Good luck with the game. I just bought 300 more tickets. I will platinum this f n game.

yap, adon got plat at class 420 (well, at least he pn'd that.

one more question: does anyone know how the turn count counts towarts your XP?

if it goes up the more turns have passed it might be enough to play 100 matches :)

Here are replies in no particular order except woogie goes first because he's better then all of you. Don't hate.

Mcnichoj it would be correct to edit the credits section of this guide and at least give credit where it's due.
The credits section is for people who helped contribute minor info silly.

You're one of the authors of this guide, you're name is going right up on the top.

Also a lot of your extra info is going into the roadmap, so you can calm down about that.

For the level thing I'll look into that, it's possible it could be different for everyone.

As for the XP gain, I assume a lot of different factors go into how much you gain like how well you did and what class both players are.

Are you sure about that? 50 titles at only rank 20? How the heck did that happen.
If he says it happened, then I believe him. As I said above, it's possible that unlocking things can be different from person to person, much like how the card you unlock in each pack are different from person to person.

Thank you for the math by the way, I'll edit that into the roadmap/intro.

I'll look into this, as noted twice before in this post it could possibly be different for everyone.

I'm a quarter of the way through the 100 man challenge so I'll change it up if I don't unlock the trophy half way done.

I got a PM 5 days ago saying that you were ready to complete this guide. Yet there is still no roadmap, and half of the trophies redirect to one that has no information at all. Please complete this guide by tomorrow or I'm closing it again. After already getting locked for incompleteness, 85% and no roadmap doesn't cut it.

Sorry about that, I ran into health complications over the past two days. The overview and roadmap are both now up.

I will now finish that last trophy.

Edit: Fixed up a lot of typos and added some things. I'll fix up the roadmap and add the intro after I get back from my EMG.

I assume no one has been posting because all of the multiplayer stuff is fine now?

Still needs alot of work

Like Vyrastas said, half of the trophies redirect to this:

Legendary Master (S)

Defeat the Demon King in Singleplayer Mode.

You fight him twice in the game, this trophy is not awarded for the first time you beat him. Doing everything else in the game is mainly just trial and error with your deck configuration and trying to counter your opponents but for the demon king he uses a usually straight forward black deck. So come with a lot of non-white monsters that know white attacks or come with whatever color you prefer plus a Paintman that can change his strongest card into a type that you can do double damage to.

Which, in my opinion, is a very lazy way to put it. Forgive me for being blunt and direct, but it is simply just insufficient

Monster Summon (B)

Summon a monster in Singleplayer Mode.

See the trophy Legendary Master for more information.

Give detailed instructions. How? Summoning Process/Any requirements like Mana? Buttons?

Light Jewel (B)

Obtain Light Jewel in Singleplayer Mode.

See the trophy Legendary Master for more information.

How to obtain? Where to obtain? Is there a fight? What element/type cards to use? The same applies to the rest of the Jewel trophies.

Serpentis (B)

Visit Serpentis in Singleplayer Mode.

See the trophy Legendary Master for more information.

Where is Serpentis? When can you visit it? Any requirements to visit it? The same applies to the rest of the "Visit xxx" trophies

Offense Formation (B)

Acquire Offense Formation in Singleplayer Mode.

See the trophy Legendary Master for more information.

How? Where? Who from? Again, same applies to rest of the "Acquire xxx" trophies.

For Veteran (G) and Elemental Master (G), right now it looks like a giant wall of text, please use line spacing/line breaks/"Enter" key so that it looks more proper.

Sorry if you think I'm being too direct, but you need to improve more of the substance and presentation.

It's cool, I never said the guide was done.

As for your suggestions, perhaps you should go play the game. They give a pretty good MANDATORY tutorial when you start it up. This goes without saying how insanely straight forward this game is, have you never played a trading card video game before?

Give detailed instructions. How? Summoning Process/Any requirements like Mana? Buttons?

This is the very first part of the game, they literally tell you to "press x", TROPHY UNLOCKED!

How to obtain? Where to obtain? Is there a fight? What element/type cards to use? The same applies to the rest of the Jewel trophies.

This whole game is nothing but fights. You unlock a formation after every few fights and you unlock a jewel at the end of the first six chapters.

Where is Serpentis? When can you visit it? Any requirements to visit it?

This game has a Super Mario World style map, you can only go in one direction (until you reach the late game) and in order to get to the next area you have to beat the last stage of the area before it.

If anyone can't grasp the game after having completed the ten minute tutorial then they shouldn't be putting any money into it.

Edit:

I just went back to make sure that I did in fact say right at the top "All the fallowing bronze trophies minus one are automatically obtained. Simply by playing, this is the order in which you will obtain them."

I also spaced out the two trophies you mentioned, so they should look slightly less cluttered.

I believe that answers my credentials. That said, you should not expect the reader to play the game first then look at the guide. While some elements are impossible to grasp without having played the game, you should strive to at least put some description on what is required/how it is obtained instead of redirecting it to another trophy that does not cover it. As you should have noticed, the description in Legendary Master makes no mention of Jewels or Formations at all.

You should also keep in mind the the Guide Team doesn't play every game for the guide they are reviewing, so to them it may seem like rocket science. Therefore do not expect any readers to have played a Trading Card Game (which should be obvious to you and me can be more complicated than the standard platformers/FPS), you have to go into more detail.

This whole game is nothing but fights. You unlock a formation after every few fights and you unlock a jewel at the end of the first six chapters.
See, that is the info required. I presume that each chapter is dedicated to a certain Element (Fire/Water/Wind...) and so will the 'boss fight (if there is one)', so strategies, even general ones are best to be included. As detailed in the Trophy Guide Writing Walkthrough below.

Story-Related Trophies

In nearly every case, simply writing "story-related, can't miss" is insufficient. If nothing else, add a brief description of when the trophy should unlock or if a boss is involved in getting the trophy. It's also good practice to any tips, strategy or even videos that you think will help. Again, it may seem obvious to you when the trophy will unlock, but your audience may think that a trophy is glitched, or they may only want to play until they get a certain trophy, and they'll want to know when they can expect to get it.

If anyone can't grasp the game after having completed the ten minute tutorial then they shouldn't be putting any money into it.
Considering the game is only $0.99, most people might get it for its price, but some still fail to understand especially as for people who in foreign territory with Trading Card Games, you should take that into account.

I think its a good thing that more members are willing to write Guides, I just figured I can give some feedback to make it better.

But because you haven't played the game and I assume your whole notion of how this game works is based upon MtG, because of that you don't understand that you actually unlock cards and don't have preconstructed decks. Due to the fact cards everyone get are completely random, I can't give any worthwhile advice.

I bought packs off PSN and so I started with two really strong rare cards which made the game relitively easy for me. I can't tell everyone "oh yeah just use these two cards and this area will be a breeze".

Altough I will take your advice and detail each area a little bit so people won't start every area blind.

You're right about random packs, and I am fully aware of that, I simply put it there that I've played Trading Card Games and there is always some stat-battle going on

In MTG its Power vs Toughness (and inherent abilities First Strike, Double Strike and whatnot)

In this game, it seems to be Agility that determines who goes first, and the fact Water > Wind, Light <> Darkness or whatever. Then there's the 1 active 2 passive creature formation or something like that. These 'mechanics' are important, and again good practice to explain.

I don't go in and play the game expecting it to be like MTG, that would be stupid. I only expect the mechanics that all Trading Card Games operate on be somewhat similar, plus-minus some unique features in the game.

So for example, if the fight is against a Fire player, you would put in there use Water cards (I assume Water > Fire), and maybe put in specific card /formation suggestions.

It doesn't matter if the reader doesn't have the card, at least you have a suggestion in there which he could use if he has it (the point being he has the choice, rather than nothing). On this single aspect the last trophy guide by CyanideHappiness was good enough to provide tips for these.

And going by the Card List on http://elementalmonster.wikia.com/wiki/Card_List, it doesn't seem like each pack type (Eg: The Legend Begins) has alot of different cards (roughly 30-40 by my count) so is it possible that readers may indeed have similar cards as you?

Considering only one of the two cards that I relied are listed there just so happens to be rare too, so it's pretty slim chance they'll get that at any point early on. I see no point of mentioning something that a vast majority of people won't have.

This all goes without saying that even though I used Phoenix in my main deck through out the game, it is infact a pretty terrible card for what I initially put it into my deck for. Sure it helped me out of a few jams but I could have had a better card in its place, sadly I had no better card at the time. It's possible that other players could have worse or better cards, but then what would be the point of recommending the bare minimum best card?

Ignoring all of that now because it isn't even about any one single card, it's about a complete deck composition. Go look at the two text heavy trophies, the deck using Gladiator doesn't work if you remove any of the first three cards they are required and NOTHING can substitute them. Try chaning anyone of those cards and well good luck to you on beating the 100 rounds. The first half of the game isn't like that where certain cards are absolutely necessary.

Now lastly look at it like this. Lets say my save file got corrupted, when that happens you lose everything you unlock and bought and Hudson says in the item description that if this happens they will not refund you or regive you the things you lost. No way in hell am I buying $30 in virtual card packs again. So even though I have all this knowledge about good cards now, that knowledge is rendered useless because I don't have good cards. This is basically the ultimatum I would be leaving readers at by suggesting "useful" cards.

One person is stuck at a certain point and then another person tells them, "oh it was easy, I just used Djinn and these three others card". Well that's great except the person that's stuck doesn't have Djinn or he has Djinn and lacks the other three cards. In actuality it isn't even about having cards that are good, it's about having cards that work and the cards that work will be different for everyone.

Hopefully I didn't come off as a asshole but I am honestly in disbelief that I had to type all this about the most easiest part of the game which took my roughly four hours.

I'll edit a bunch of things tomorrow as I can't use my PS3 atm and infact I should have been asleep hours ago.

BTW I have 100% respect for you and understand you're only trying to help make the guide better. Just so no one thinks I'm mad or anything dumb like that.

not sure if you want to put this in the guide or not but i achieved my 50 titles at rank 15 or 20 max after getting all the single player trophies so it is possible to get this off using only your 10 free tickets
Just wanted to bring this back up real quick before I take a break from playing to eat, but I believe he is 100% correct. I have 40 titles with the grass boss and "easy" black/white fights to go and they each unlock two titles and then I asume they will have a black and white boss fight which will also unlock two more titles. So that would leave me with just two titles to get and then I would have the trophy.

Well I have no idea about that. I am rank 70 something and don't have that trophy. I'll look at how many titles I have when I get off work.
