Practice makes perfect?

Recommended Posts

I really want to try and platinum a hard platformer, from what I hear this game is very hard to "G rank" on hard.

Is the game one of those practice makes perfect kinda games like Mirror's Edge where muscle memory, level memorization and some skill play a role?

Or is this game more skill based like a NGS where you have to have that fast reaction time to deal with enemies in addition to the platforming?

The latter, really. And getting G-Rank is hard not simply due to the platforming but due to the terrible combt targetting and other annoying elements. Mirror's Edge was fairer in its difficulty, I think, at least as a platformer.

I'm down to 4 stages left to G-Rank now (3, 7, 10, 11), and some of that has been luck as much as skill.
