Road Map Overview - Trophy breakdown: 56 (1(P), 2(G), 5(S), 48(B)) - Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 3/10 (Platinum Difficulty Thread) - Offline: 54 - Online: 2 - United we Stand and Guardian Angel - Approximate Amount of Time to : 35+ - Min Number of Playthroughs: 4 - Each class once, then once on Legendary - Missable Trophies: 0 - Glitched Trophies: 0 - Do cheats disable trophies?: None Available - Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes, Legendary difficulty is NG+ Introduction Dungeon Hunter: Alliance was originally an iPhone game released in 2009. It was later ported over to PSN, given motion control support and 19 trophies. Now with launch of the Vita, it has 56 trophies, its own Platinum! It's gameplay is similar to that of a Diablo game, overview, Hack & Slash style. Step One: Play the game on Hero mode. There are 3 classes to choose from. You can pick any of the three you like or play a little of each to get feel for which class you want to maybe play through game twice with. This game is pretty simplistic so don't worry about stats or what is best abilities to much because you can always reset your stats and abilities in any town...for a price. Just general advice if your not used to these games. Warrior: Str main stat, carry more potions and defense ability is nice. Mage: Energy is main stat, Fireball early on and later Meteor is good. Rogue: Dexterity is main stat, Poison darts and sneak are really nice. *Endurance gives hps and should not be overlooked! Nothing is Missable. You can go back and replay areas to get any trophy that you might not of gotten in just normal playing. So relax, enjoy. You should be around lvl 35-40ish when you beat game. Step Two: Legendary playthrough + Clean up This is considered NG+. The game gets a little harder but nothing that will give you to hard of a time. Here is your chance to hit lvl 75. It's also worth noting you can take your Abilities from 5 max to 10, Example.. your Meteor spell can go up 10 ranks now! When you defeat last boss, you can always replay and defeat it again. This is where you can just go and clean up any trophies you didn't get which might be, Warmancer, Big spender and Chatter Box. You may also need to still beat game on Hero mode with the other 2 classes if you didn't do so by now. Order doesn't matter, just need to beat all 3 classes on Hero and one class on Legendary. I save online trophies for last, as being 75 will make things so much easier. *Note: You can go back and forth between Hero and Legendary once you beat Hero. Step 3: Online trophies Technically, every trophy in game can be earned while playing online but there are 2 that are 100% online ONLY (Crystals do NOT spawn online thanks Cully). Guardian angel is just resurrecting another player 20 times online, it's not hard to get and only requires one person if you boost it. Meanwhile, United we stand - defeat last boss online with 4 people! This isn't to bad right now as often people are at end boss and wait for others to join. As time goes on, you might have to use boost thread and find 3 more people to help. [spoiler=18]This quest is automatically given upon entering the Royal Throne Room. You must defeat all 5 Generals again in the same room, then defeat the Dark Queen and lastly the Dark Fairy. You cannot buy potions between battles. If you die during any part, you restart just before the Generals, were you can stock up on potions and try again. Kill Trophies *NOTE* Weapons in this game drop OFTEN. You can buy them in town also. The best spot to get kills is really what ever dungeon you have quest for as that will be stuff your level and can drop your level loot AND exp while getting kills. However, if you want to just get some fast kills cause you don't like using certain weapons, I suggest Dead Pit, the starting dungeon, as that will be lowest lvl creatures to farm. Also, you can leave a dungeon and re-enter a dungeon to make it full respawn. If you are in a dungeon and save and exit, when you load game you will have full respawn again. Kill counts carry over from Hero to Legendary. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1385/45.jpgBerserker http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Defeat 300 monsters using only axes (1H or 2H). If you do not get this during your playthrough you can go to Dead Pit and let trolls knock you around till you get 25. Just clear any enemies around them and let them knock you around while using potions to stay alive. Open it up with button and pick up crystal should one pop. *Note, you can spend crystals at the TWO crystal merchants, however make sure you buy something from BOTH if you want to get the Big Spender trophy! You simply go to vendor in town and reset your abilities and buy 1 point into each one. Then just use them once. You can then reset your abilities back to whatever you want. Do this for each character and every assignable ability. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1385/56.jpgBig Spenderhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png Purchase at least one item from every merchant. Molasar
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1385/43.jpgKiller Instincthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_gold.png Defeat the Dark Fairy in a single or multiplayer game without taking damage. [spoiler=28]There are some good pointers in forum here on different classes but I can only put what worked for me. I levelled war up to 75 and did the Legendary trophy, leaving my mage/rog both only in 30s. I'm sure a level 75 mage could probably do this trophy in 10 secs, but I can't confirm that. I ended up using a lvl 39 rogue with 5 points in sneak and 5 into poison darts. The pattern I used was to shoot 2-3 darts, then go into sneak mode and get behind her while she did her 4 waves of Haduken's fireballs. Then I would get off 2-3 shots, go invisible and run around her again popping potions as needed to get Mana back up to full. After you hit her she will fire where you were if you did it properly. This way you can make her fire a certain way...usually. She does random warps sometimes but using this method I assure you is not hard to get trophy. Also If your rogue was lvl 75 it would of taken half the time. Just make sure you wait until she is completely done with fireballs before you dart her, as she can turn and finish last wave and hit you! Also make sure you're on Hero difficulty, even if you're 75, just choose to play on Hero and go kill her. Another method that people have used is to die at the white queen and NOT get ressed up. You would do this online with other people and they would just let you lay there. They would beat white queen and then Dark Farie, after which you would get trophy for not taking damage since you were dead before fight started. I did not try this and you would need to find someone to help you in co op thread. Molasar
Would be nice if u could tell us some good farm spots fpr Kills. This doesnt help at all. Like: 500 Fairy Kills? Or where u can farm stuns, cuz only got stuned 3 times on my first playthrough. Would appreciate it. cheers I added some info about farming in Dead pit for fastest kills, but best spot is whatever quest your working on cause you can exp while getting those kills too and everything respawns if you re enter, guide updated with info now though. Far as stuns, i dont know how you only got 3 .. i was sooo aggrivated by time plat came with stuns. I use my vita in the plastic trigger thing so it feels like a ps3 controller, and when i shake it, almost comes flying out of the grips. I posted where i got some though, bosses and trolls! Pretty much any very large creature can stun you. I really HATED shaking vita! I would need to load game and try few places to see a good spot, but till then, id say maybe dead pit, Find a troll (several in zone) and get close and let him smack you.. No time at moment to check. Cartz-666
Probably the worst guied ive ever seen, the best place to get the kill trophys out of the way is the dead pit, it gets a bit boring but you can gain a few levels while you are there. You can also boost the stuns here, fill up all your potions, then kill all the smaller enemys around the troll untill its just him left, then let him keep hitting you till he stuns you. When you get low on potions, go & get some more then return & the troll will b there all on his own waiting for you to rince & repeate. Also this crap about war, rog & mage, you can use any class to get all of the weapon kill including the 2000 kills with 2handed weapons not just with the war only like it has been quoted. Ive only had this game 2 days now & have found all these things wrong with your guide i havnt even compleated it yet, so maby you should quit with the guid writing, or at least find out all you can about the game & compleate it a few times rather than rushing to be the first to put out the guide & publishing this dribble. Wow.. how to reply.. since you cant spell, Its GUIDE not guied, its also Maybe not Ma.. nm.. you just have so many words mispelled its not worth the several sentences needed to correct your gibberish. Ok, First off dead pit is best spot to farm kills huh.. interesting.. my GUIDE has that listed in SEVERAL spots as best spot to get kills.. hmm perhaps you should read. The stun trophy.. also.. already been listed on guide here that TROLLS stun you and are several in dead pit to go get stunned, not that you need to as you will get over the course of game.. but again i said this. And lastly, ya i know say a rog can use a bow and war can too.. But ya know what.. Where i come from mages use staffs, rogs daggers, wars swords. They also get abilities they can boost thier damage with said weapons so kills are faster so ya, you wanna be the tool using a war with an ORB casting magic.. you do that. So i guess thanks for pointing out.. umm nothing.. and thanks for adding info that was umm.. already there and trying to make me feel like crap with my first guide.. you win.. your a winner... THANKS you friggin tool! Anyone who thinks i should change or add something pls let me know, but if all your gonna do is complain and make up shit, dont bother. Im not here for that. Ive used many guides here over past few years ive been member on forums and i just wanted to give something back and see how i could do it. Dont like it? make your own... This guide is not bad at all. Since you actually have to play through hero difficulty 3 times. I found that I did not need to farm any of the things you are asking about. The guide mentions one way to complete the kill trophies. Sure you can get the sword trophy with the mage but seriously...who is going to do that. It is just a waste of time when you are going to be playing with each character. The guide does not need to describe every single way to get each trophy. It describes an effective and easy way without going out of the way doing stupid things with each class. Nice work. This is way better on the vita than on the PS3. Being portable rocks. Molasar
Hey, thanks for nice comments, i appreciate it. Just wanted to reply cause you said better on vita. I really did enjoy game. I played during the TWO 30 min breaks i get at work and alittle at home. Gf played war and i helped on few bosses for her. It was ok, but last night i bought PS3 version and got a pizza and we were able to play war and mage at same time on ps3!! And 2nd player was able to earn trophies too unlike Lego games where 2nd player messes up trophies. We had a blast playing together, even though it only has a few trophies and no plat. We played from start all way to Skyburg before logging for sleep! Gonna play here in a bit, just got home from work. Shame it dont have plat too! pvtforlife
I am having issues with the Grand Magus trophy. It does not update the Live area like all the other trophies do. No matter how many times I save and quit and no matter how many monsters I kill with fairies. It always says 19 monsters killed. Any ideas? Molasar
I recall my vita showing 82 kills with crossbow, even though i had the 300 kill trophy. Your talking about the bubbles right and left of start button when you first boot up game? Sometimes it would show old stats for me. Did you get trophy to pop? Btw, i finished last night Ps3 version and wow is it alittle diff. No Crystals, no white queen, no ice zone, no fight all bosses in tower portal. staticsnake
PSVITA – Dungeon Hunter: Alliance – “Big Spender” Trophy First of all, thanks for starting the guide for this game, and I am attaching this to support the guide. I made this because I found no full lists of merchants for this trophy just in case I missed any (hard to do), and I found some other people online needed a list as well, so I am making one as I play through. This is also hopefully in the order as the story goes, so easy trophy. I simply purchased the cheapest ring from most vendors. Make sure with the limited crystals to buy one thing from each crystal vendor to get the trophy, don’t spend all your crystals at one merchant. This will also help with the “Chatterbox” trophy, as I received it while initiating trade with a merchant, so they count for that as well. Merchants ListThamos Village Gus Omar – Crystal Vendor Al – Need to complete his quest “Find Metal Scraps” first Marc Fortune – Skill Re-assigner (no need to spend money for “ Big Spender” trophy, just initiate a conversation for “Chatterbox” trophy) The Dead Pit Goblin Merchant South Road Kalys South Road – Bandit’s Lair Goblin Merchant – Locked in a cage, simply pull the lever Howling Woods Goblin Merchant – Need to complete his quest “The Big Bad Wolf” first Skyburg Shephard Jeremo Market Ash Ronald – Crystal Vendor Will Fortune – Skill Re-assigner (no need to spend money for “ Big Spender” trophy, just initiate a conversation for “Chatterbox” trophy) Jeremo Slums – Jeremo Forge Ezra Jeremo Slums – Jeremo Barracks Deanna Jeremo Slums – The Darkwood Leper Joe
Molasar
Hey.. great list! When i started game i tried to google some trophies and this one only had a few ppl listed. I didnt decide to do guide till after i played and never had full list of merchs and wanted to add em. I had to condense alittle for, 10,000 limit is a bitch but i got them on there. I too bought the cheapest ring from each as i went I ended up having to buy off 2nd crystal vendor for trophy.
Traceskipper
Thxs for the guide. I usually read guides to help get through something that i'm stuck on like the merchants in this game. But why i find guides important is it helps me determine if i should buy the game and if i do what am i getting myself into.
staticsnake
Thanks guys. I am new and was deciding that I wanted to help and give something back since I use this site so much nowadays. Dungeon Hunter really is a great game for now considering the meager RPG selection. I really disagree with all the negative reviews it got. It's got problems, but man Skyrim was way worse and we all dealt with that. Anyway, I beat it the first time now and there's plenty more to do. It's an awesome hack n slash waste of time in college. I like DH:A, but to think it's better than Skyrim EDIT: Think I got it wrong, you were referring only to the technical problems, right? If that's so, I apologize and agree, Skyrim had way more glitches and bugs, at least when I played right after launch. I'm in the 4th DH:A playthrough without any major technical issues. staticsnake
No no no. Sorry. I was referring to the gameplay issues noted by reviewers that give Dungeon Hunter a bad score: lag, frame rate skips, etc. I mean Skyrim had buggy issues (gamebreaking for me until patched as I couldn't complete pertinent quests) as well and got great scores from the same retard reviewers. I'm not talking about quality of experience, just saying not to let reviewers detract you from getting this game if you have a vita.

You just reminded me of the frame rate issues, though, which are really terrible and unacceptable.
staticsnake
Well, for now I'm enjoying it regardless of the issues because I need a pocket RPG, but I guess here's to hoping Warrior's Lair will be awesome. And maybe fingers crossed for Diablo III on Vita? Lol. Ooh. Supposedly a new Ys as well.

But why i find guides important is it helps me determine if i should buy the game and if i do what am i getting myself into. I do that exact same thing. Ive read ALOT of guides here just to see difficulty. There are games i buy outright, like CODs, mass effect, uncharted, batman, Skyrim, borderlands.. and such but then there are games that i gamefly and base decisoins by guides. Being a plus member i get some free games from time to time but dont DL them cause of the insane hours or high difficulty , Just dont have the time to play games that really arent on my radar if they to long to plat. Farcry 2 was recent one i passed on.
Traceskipper
I'm missing the chatterbox trophy and i'm on my 3rd playthrough, any tips and in the first town there is a gated area that has never opened for me, does it open in the game. BTW i did get the merchant trophy but no chatterbox trophy.
