January-Embers
So over the past two days I've gotten literally every single reward weapon in the game for every character. I've charted out which class gets what weapons and said weapon is good for. My findings are based on the base stats such as hero damage or tower damage to indicate what the weapon is best suited for. Of course, if you wanted you could use it for something other than what the stats indicate. There is also another class outside of DPS and Tower in the chart called 'neutral' which really didn't indicate being better or worse for either class and could be used for both if a high enough upgrade one came along. If there's enough interest I can put up my word doc for people to download where I have everything color coordinated and stuff bolded etc. Apprentice – 21 weapons DPS – 12 weapons Tower – 6 weapons Neutral – 3 weapons Huntress – 21 weapons DPS – 7 weapons Tower – 4 weapons Neutral – 10 weapons Monk – 21 weapons DPS – 4 weapons Tower – 10 weapons Neutral – 7 weapons Squire – 21 weapons DPS – 8 weapons Tower – 5 weapons Neutral – 8 weapons Levels Alchemical Laboratories – Hard Apprentice – Demonic Heirloom – DPS Huntress – The Soul Sprayer – Tower Monk – Spear of the Void – neutral Squire – Demonic Training Blade – DPS Alchemical Laboratories – Insane Apprentice – Spinal Column - DPS Huntress – Soul Focuser – neutral Monk – Everlasting Flame - Tower Squire – Malificar’s Rapier - Tower The Throne Room - Hard Apprentice – Spare Actuator - DPS Huntress – W-1893 Voltmeter - neutral Monk – Sword Test No. 8 - Tower Squire – Diamond-Tipped Carver - DPS The Throne Room - Insane Apprentice – Alternative Energy Core - Tower Huntress – M-32 - neutral Monk – Prototype Armblade - Tower Squire – Einhorn’s Furnace Poker - neutral The Summit – Hard/Insane Apprentice – Draconis Ignis - neutral Huntress – The Flame Buffet - neutral Monk – Dragon-Crested Glaive - Tower Squire – Flamewarder - neutral Glitterhelm Caverns - Hard Apprentice – Incandescence - DPS Huntress – The Lava Beetle Exterminator - neutral Monk – Firegrass Scythe - Tower Squire – Ytterbium Laser - neutral Glitterhelm Caverns - Insane Apprentice – Tsuda’s Final Creation - DPS Huntress – The Magma Furnace - Tower Monk – Qi - neutral Squire – The Earth Shaper - neutral Challenges No Towers Allowed – Hard Apprentice – Defense Reconstructor - DPS No Towers Allowed – Insane Squire – Mobile Moxie - Tower Unlikely Allies – Hard Squire – Ogre Safety Razor - neutral Unlikely Allies – Insane Monk – Ogre’s Childhood Toy - Tower Warping Core – Hard Monk – Warp Stabilizer - neutral Warping Core – Insane Huntress – Crystal Tracker - DPS Raining Goblins – Hard Huntress – The Dancing Cavalier - neutral Raining Goblins – Insane Apprentice – Goblin Overlord’s Charge - Tower Wizardry – Hard Apprentice – Staff of the High Archwizard - DPS Wizardry – Insane Squire – The Heretic - neutral Ogre Crush – Hard Squire – High Five - DPS Ogre Crush – Insane Monk – Ogre Party Hat - neutral Zippy Terror – Hard Monk – Wick Cutter - Tower Zippy Terror – Insane Huntress – Kobold Douser - DPS Chicken – Hard Huntress – The Incubator - neutral Chicken – Insane Apprentice – Chanticleer’s Chandelier - neutral Moving Core – Hard Apprentice – Perpetual Motion - Tower Moving Core – Insane Squire – Quiescence – Tower Death From Above – Hard Monk – Skyreaper - neutral Death From Above – Insane Squire – The Pinioner - neutral Assault – Hard Monk – The Aggressor - DPS Assault – Insane Huntress – Blasticus - Tower Treasure Hunt – Hard Huntress – Knox Bow - neutral Treasure Hunt – Insane Apprentice – Shambhala Ley Staff - DPS Monster Fest – Hard Apprentice – Spirit Champion’s Mageblade – Tower Monster Fest – Insane Monk – Magina’s Last Glaive - neutral DLC Mistymire Forest – Hard Apprentice – The Forest’s Sorrow - neutral Huntress – Hastat’s Recurve - neutral Monk – Preying Prayer - Tower Squire – Spiderling Cleaver - neutral Challenge: Portal Defense Monk – Glaive of Unicorn – neutral Mistymire Forest – Insane Apprentice – Hand of the Queen - DPS Huntress – Black Death - DPS Monk – Leg of the Queen - Tower Squire – Web Untangler - neutral Challenge: Portal Defense Squire – Patellar Hammer – DPS Morrago Desert Town – Hard Apprentice – Undying Rod - DPS Huntress – Samiel the Flayer - DPS Monk – Shimmerblade Scimitar - Tower Squire – Ebon Falchion - DPS Challenge: War of the Djinns Huntress – Shai Hulud – neutral Morrago Desert Town - Insane Apprentice – Oculus of the Genie King - Tower Huntress – Shaiton of a Thousand Winds - DPS Monk – Junbao’s Sun-kissed Saber - DPS Squire – Crysknife of the Efreet - DPS Challenge: War of the Djinns Apprentice – Genie King’s Shardstaff – DPS Aquanos – Hard Apprentice – Xilent’s Rhythm Staff - DPS Huntress – Pressurized Energy Core - DPS Monk – Kelp Harvester - DPS Squire – Aquian Cog-Maul - Tower Challenge: Riddle of the Deep Squire – Kraken Fang - DPS Aquanos – Insane Apprentice – Arronax - Tower Huntress – The Depth Charge - neutral Monk – Lemurian Halberd - DPS Squire – Triton’s War Glaive - DPS Challenge: Riddle of the Deep Huntress – Everflame of the Nautilus - DPS Sky City – Hard/Insane This level does not reward console players with any items, just a generic random drop. January-Embers
The reason I made this is because I've been hearing A LOT of people in the game say "I don't know where to get that" or "I heard you have to do Sky City..." so if you're one of those confused persons or if you're just wanting a new DPS or Tower weapon to farm here ya go! I really hope this helps people out. One note, obviously some weapons have better stats than others. The Shai Hulud for example has really great DPS and Tower stats yet it doesn't really sway in favor of one or the other. The DLC weapons offer the best overall base stats but for non-DLC needs there are some really good weapons in there.
Halicakes
Hiii, I was wondering which is the best gun for my DPS Huntress to have? :S I don't know the name of it, but I am assuming its the small gun that sprays out green gas/goop? lol. Sorry, I am a new to this game still. But I've seen a lot of high level huntress have it and they do a lot of damage when playing with them. I am still a weak DPS huntress. Trying to find a decent gun, so I can hold my own out there.
shrink
I am using a Crystal Tracker for my level 72 Huntress, but she is in no way as strong as many others out there. I know the weapon you are describing (green globs), but I have know idea what it is called. The Crystal Tracker is nice because it does area of effect damage and can take out mobs pretty easily. You receive it when you beat Warping Core on Insane with your Huntress. Edited April 4, 2013 by shrink

January-Embers
The two best DPS weapons for the huntress on console are either the Soul Focuser (50+ upgrades) or the Shai Hulud (90+ upgrades). Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The Soul Focuser can shoot through walls which makes it better to taking out enemies quicker since you don't have to actually see them, but it's actual damage is lower than the Shai; conversely, the Shai has incredible damage and splash damage but the projectiles tend to be a bit slow and you have to actually be in the line of sight of whoever you're trying to kill. Personally, the Soul Focuser is the way to go in my mind because 1) it's easier to farm and 2) it's more effective since you can kill from a distance and through objects. The Shai takes WAY too damn long to farm and you almost always get shit.
