SoaringEagle23
Which of the three Budokai games does everyone like? I started with Budokai 2, but I've essentially mastered Budokai 3. If you don't like Budokai, that's fine, just state which game you do like.
Heero1982
Out of those 3 I like Budokai 3. Had open world and story all the way to GT. My favorite is Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 can't wait for a HD Collection for those
Arturia
Budokai 3 for sure, lots of characters and even though I didn't like GT I didn't mind playing the story at all:p
Raymond
Budokai 1 is legendary, but I like Budokai 3 more for It's better gameplay, character roster and open world story mode
GalactusTheGreat
Yeah as the series went on the game play was just phenomenal. But the reason I voted one was because of its nostalgia. That was without a doubt the very first fighting game I played on PS2. It's graphics and all are nothing comparable to today's standards but I just liked it. Especially the Special Beam Cannon blood scene. Was just awesome to see as a kid.
peena
I still remember being 7 years old and getting budokai 1. Couldn't get through the part where i had to put raditz on the blue line
wookiemonster
I always enjoyed Budokai 3 more than the other 2. I remember spending so many afternoons just grinding the hours by trying to get all the characters unlocked. I remember enjoying the first game & thinking how innovative it was to finally be playing through the dbz story line. Never really cared for 2 as I hated the graphics & the story/gameboard layout.

BakaOuji
I voted for other, more specifically Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, I used to own Budokai 1 but was less then thrilled with it, clunky fighting, NO ORIGINAL JAPANESE VOICES ( sinful ) , and didn't like the '3D' look, smooth textures etc. etc. . DBZBT3 was awesome and still is the best DBZ game I've ever played! 130 characters, cell shading to look like the show, and the option to turn on the original Japanese voices. Had so much fun playing quick pick random team matches, never knowing if its going to be Guldo vs SSJ 3 Goku.

dmsdq
I like the character selection and graphics of the later ones, but nothing can beat the nostalgia bomb that the first one drops for me. I can't wait to bust into this game again!
Pimpalicious
I finished off Budokai and just started 3 but 3 definitely seems more polished and fun. I preferred the chapter select for story mode though.
Viper
I'm not a Budokai fan, I've always far preferred Budokai Tenkaichi. BT3 in HD would have been an instant purchase from me. But that doesn't mean I didn't play these games before BT came out...so if I HAD to choose between these games it would be B3 for sure. The Cosmic Suff
Budokai 1 was the game I played when I was a kid followed by Budokai 2. I had never played Budokai 3 before and I have to say I was amazed how good it was after playing Budokai 1 again after all those years. Budokai 3 just looks and feels absolutely fantastic. My only complain would be the poorly told story.
williebrillie666
Budokai 3 for sure, the open world and such is just fantastic! I remember playing Goku's story over and over just to grind him to max level:D I think I had him about level 87 when I quit:dance: I also had him SSJ4 and his 10x Kamehameha was plain AWESOME! Jimena
All budokais have there own good think. Budokai 1 have the video that appears at every chapter and none of the others have that way of recreate the episode like that game.  At first the budokai 2 was my favorite just because of the puzzle way fo doing the story mode. I really like that , but the only game I couldn't stop playing was budokai 3 that it just a great game. I don't think I gonna be thinking the same as others but it just my opinion
Tensei
Budokai 3, while B1 is the best at telling the story of Dragon Ball Z i find B3 to be the most fun to play:D

mugiwara84
Haven't played 2, but 3 >> 1. Much bigger roster, dragon universe is a lot cooler, and the gameplay is better. Â Still, though I know it's not the question, I'll take Raging Blast 1 any day. The added flying in that game makes it a lot cooler and more Dragon Ball. Also love its story mode.
