Neme
I miss only hell or hell difficulty, for now 5/10. DMD is easy compare other DMC game, and all SSS on nephilim is easy too.
Kornkaos
It's quite easy... time consuming, but easy =)
Harry94_
Voted 5/10 I just need HAH, 5000 kills and SSS ranks for the plat. This is the first DmC game I've played for more than a day, so I can't compare it to the other ones. DMD is pretty easy, it took a few missions to get used to what to expect but the rest was plain sailing.
PowerPyx
I'm also giving it a 5/10. Not too hard, not too easy either. Vergil on Hell and Hell took several tries. The other bosses are pretty easy. Overall it's the easiest DmC I'd say. Took me about 40 hours to plat this game.
MattNY
I'm going to vote 6, primarily because of the amount of playthroughs it will require.
KyleGM
I gave it a 3, I had no problems whatsoever with this and I wouldn't class myself as an exceptionally good player at these type of games as the original DMCs kicked my ass! Took 3 days including a lot of sleep.

KyleGM
Damn, and you did HAH before DMD? Kudos. Congrats. Yeah, I didn't want to "cheat" it out, and surprisingly HAH was my second easiest playthrough, I think I was just in the zone and totally focused on it. DMD is definitely the hardest mode, but still pretty easy! Hope this gives hope for others as it's really not that hard. 1 major tip for people though, nail demon dodge perfectly and you will fly through the game. I spent the first few hours perfecting it and it was worth it, it cuts your time in half and battles are over before you know it. Another great strategy I used is that if enemies aren't on screen, they will not attack you. I used it to keep annoying enemies from attacking me while I focused on something else. Killforce
Wow, there's a difficulty setting where you die in 1 hit, (required for a trophy) and people are voting this only 5/10? I find that hard to believe... Edited January 21, 2013 by Killforce

I find that hard to believe... That's because that difficulty is a joke if you do the actual hardest difficulty first.
GMFatality
It isn't too hard to get but definitely a while to get it. 5/10 for me
KingBroly
I give this a 6/10 on the Difficulty Scale - You have a minimum of 5 playthroughs to get Platinum (1st run, SOS + Collectibles, SSS Nephilim, DMD, HOH, HAH), so 30-50 hours. - While most people will be able to stumble their way through it easily on Nephilim, SOS and up can get somewhat troublesome - While you may die a lot, Checkpoints are really user-friendly. It's better to just die than use Healing Items. - 5,000 Demons slayed is a grindy-ass grind Trophy Overall, it's not very difficult. It may frustrate some, but for the most part, it's just a matter of when, not if, when it comes to achieving this Platinum.

I find that hard to believe... If u beat DMD u get a Super character, which u can demolish everything. People are just scared of the on 1 hit. mike20036
I'm going to give It a 5/10 Because SSS Hard trophy give me a few problems. And Hell And Hell fighting Vergil was a bit hard at the end. But overall I enjoyed the game very much
Amuro
If u beat DMD u get a Super character, which u can demolish everything. People are just scared of the on 1 hit. Though u have 3 retries Could you please explain? If use this super character, will it be three hits instead of one?
Yoda91192
Could you please explain? If use this super character, will it be three hits instead of one? It's actually 4 hits, regardless of what costume you have on, since you get 3 Gold Orbs at every checkpoint.. The specific Super costume gives you infinite devil trigger so you could just abuse that for every fight, for the exception of the bosses.
DarkAmon
i only beat Human difficulty so i will vote IF i plat the game but not before as always.
Kakyochan
6/10 98% of the game is max 4/10, but stupid-vergil-from-hell on HaH gave me such a hard time i voted the platin with a 6 ;P
Marco_de_Mars
Voted a 5. I just miss the HAH trophy and I just finished mission 10. I feared the DMD but it was realy easy except level 16 and 17 that were a little bit of a challenge (but with item use, not a big problem). No major difficulty for this plat I really liked this DmC but it's a piece of cake compared to the previous ones.

doomgun
Just completed the final task of this game and decided to give it a 5/10 as well. Vergil on DMD or HAH didn't seem as bad as people make it sound, probably becos on DMD I had 20 vital stars, 20 devil trigger stars and three gold orbs to burn and with this much amount of consumables backing me up, the fight was painless. Once again on HAH, the fight was easy due to Super Dante Perk. The 5000 kills can be effortlessly farmed in HOH Bob Barbas boss fight, I got roughly 500 kills in less than 5 minutes. Amato34
5/10 Dante Must Die and really easy
TheCommonDan
Voted a 4/10. Hardest challenge was DMD but with vital stars and gold orbs, along with full health and devil trigger, it presents little problem passing the stages. Also Vergil on HAH isn't too tough, just keep activating devil trigger and angel dash and boost ASAP with he launches the several blades.
