ROAD MAP

Overview

+ Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 6/10

+ Trophy Breakdown: 1(P)-2(G)-10(S)-38(B)

+ Offline: 27(B)-9(S)-2(G)

+ Online: 11(B)-1(S)-0(G)

+ Approximate Time To Platinum: 20-35 hours (Main factors are how long you take on the challenges & if you boost the online rank)

+ Playthroughs Needed: 1

+ Missable Trophies: None

+ Glitched Trophies: None at the moment.

+ VIP Pass: Something to be aware of if buying used or renting this game is the VIP pass included with new copies. It is required to get online and, as a result, earn the online trophies and platinum. If you buy used or rent the game you will need to purchase the VIP code off the store to get this platinum.

Step 1 - DiRT Tour:

First stop, the DiRT Tour. You will need to eventually win every event so best to just start taking them on 1 at a time and getting the wins under your belt. You will get a lot of the trophies doing this without trying. So work your way through all 4 seasons and the subsequent world tours.

A few that you won't necessarily get automatically that you can focus on are, "Assistance is Futile" & "The Real Thing". Both those can be done simply in one race as well as "Crash Proof". You shouldn't need to worry about "The Extra Mile" since getting 25 challenges will comes easily in the end but you should at least get used to looking at the challenges and making an effort to get them if any extra is needed.

At the Gymkhana Academy in season one you can go for "Call me Ace", it may take an extra try. When doing rally events try and vary your class choice and work your way through them all for "Rally Evolution".

Step 2 - DC Challenges:

There are 26 DC Challenges in total. You need to get a platinum medal in all of them. There are also some random trophies for these challenges but you will get almost all of them by chasing those platinum medal requirements. The only one you might not get it "Perfect Sprint" but if you don't this is easy enough to go get if you focus on it exclusively. See that trophy as well as "Platinum Performance" for more information/tips as well as videos of all the challenges.

Step 3 - Battersea Compound:

To fully unlock all areas of the Battersea Compound you will need to finish season 3. From that point on you can do this area any time. Your goal is to get 100% and the "Battered Battersea" trophy getting a few other % based ones along the way. A lot of the missions are fairly straightforward but some can be tricky to do or figure out the exact requirement for. See the "Battered Battersea" trophy in the guide for a detailed guide and videos for the missions in the compound.

Step 4 - Clean Up:

You will need to go to single player mode (not the DiRT tour) and play time trials with each rally class to get the "Pace Setter" trophy. Other than that this step is simply to go back and clean up any of the other offline trophies that you don't yet have. Check the guide and go grab them.

Step 5 - Online:

Your ultimate goal is to get to level 35 online and get the "Super Star" trophy. That one will take a while so It's best to just take each of the other online trophies in turn to work on them since most are for different modes and it's hard to work on more than one at a time as a result apart from the cumulative ones. Ones you finish off all but rank then you can work solely towards "Super Star". For boosting any of the boostable online trophies see the trophy boosting thread: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/dirt-3/108040-trophy-boosting-thread.html

Achieve all the trophies

Congratulations on your Platinum!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/02.jpg(B)Into the DiRT

Complete your first DiRT Tour race

Easy trophy, it will pop after your first DiRT Tour race regardless of the result.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/03.jpg(B)Driving School

Complete the tutorials in the Gymkhana Academy

This is the final event in season 1. There are 5 tutorials, 1 for each of the 5 trick types. Finish each of them with a minimum of a bronze medal and you will get this trophy. See "Teacher's Pet" for more information along with videos of the tutorials.

Achieve a Platinum medal in all of the Gymkhana Academy tutorials

This is the final event in season 1. There are 5 tutorials, 1 for each trick type. The platinum medal requirements for some of these are actually pretty tough and will require a decent amount of repetition and practice in order to master the event and get the platinum medals but with persistence they shouldn't cause you too much trouble except perhaps the drifting tutorial where the key is just to try and get solid scores (not necessarily the maximum of 5000), but score in all the gates. It's best to keep the trick steer assist turned on in the assist menu. It makes things a lot easier through these events so if the voice over man tells you that you're so awesome you don't even need it, just ignore him, he's an idiot.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/05.jpg(B)Kick Off the Training Wheels

Achieve a podium finish in the Gymkhana Academy

The final event in the Gymkhana Academy is a combination of all the trick types you learn in the tutorials. Use what you have learn and string different types of tricks together in order to build up your multiplier. You only need to get in the top three, but will need to get first for "From DiRT to Glory", and the difficulty can be set to 1 to make things easier. Having played through all the tutorials, this shouldn't cause you any trouble.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/06.jpg(B)Reputation Boost

Complete 5 bonus Race Objectives

See "The Extra Mile".

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/07.jpg(B)The Extra Mile

Complete 25 bonus Race Objectives

Every race that you do has a bonus objective attached to it. It is displayed before the race and you can pause during to see it as well. These objectives are generally thing like "achieve a speed of XXmph" or "Achieve a lap time of XX:XX". As a result most of the time you won't have to alter the way you play to achieve these since you should be going as fast as you can anyway. Just keep an eye on these as you work through the DiRT Tour and getting to 25 should be no problem.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/08.jpg(B)Crash Proof

Use a flashback in the DiRT Tour after receiving terminal damage and then go on to win the race

Firstly in the service menu before a race make sure you go to "Difficulty and Assists" and set damage to full. Start the race and drive full throttle into a tree or wall or anything else solid. If the damage is terminal, the race will stop and a menu will be displayed with the stats of your crash. If it's your first time the options will be explained to you. Simply use the flashback feature as shown/described in the game to go back before your crash and subsequently go on to win the race. To give yourself the easiest time you can set the difficulty to 1 and you still have your other 4 flashbacks you can use to guarantee the victory.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/09.jpg(B)Call me Ace

Ace all trick types in a Gymkhana Championship event

What this means is one of the events, like the last one in the Gymkhana Academy that combines all 5 of the Gymkhana trick types. Playing through the tutorials you should be familiar with all 5 and how to ace them. You know when you ace them because the three triangles on your screen all fill up and you are awarded with the max single trick score (which varies from trick to trick). Take them each in turn when doing the event. Ace one then move onto the next. Once you get all 5 and finish the event the trophy will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/10.jpg(B)Today's Forecast is...Victory!

Win a race in all weather conditions

Don't worry about this one. If you just win all the races in the first 3 events of season 1 in the DiRT Tour, then the final of Transworld Clash is when the trophy should pop. For reference here are the types of conditions:

Conditions:

Wet

Morning, Sun

Evening, Sun

Night

Rain

Snow

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/11.jpg(B)Assistance is Futile

Win a DiRT Tour race without using any driver assists

Just before you start a race, in the service menu, go to "Difficulty and Assists". In this menu everything below the "Assists heading" needs to be set to "off". You can also put the difficulty down to 1 for the easiest time. Back out of that menu, start the race and go on to win to get the trophy. Remember you have your flashbacks too for when you mess up. You can also combine this easily with "The Real Thing" trophy and get them both knocked out in one race.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/12.jpg(S)Driven

Win DiRT Tour races using vehicles from each discipline

There are 6 disciplines you need to win a DiRT Tour race in for this trophy. If you are winning all the tour races it won't come until season 2 when you get your first "Trailblazer" event. For reference, here is a list of the type of events you need to win:

Disciplines:

Rally

RallyCross

Trailblazer

Gymkhana

Head2Head

Land Rush

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/13.jpg(B)Pace Setter

Complete a Time Trial race in a vehicle from each class of Rally

From the main menu go to "Single Player" and then "Time Trial". You need to complete a rally time trial in each of the classes. You can see the global times as you look through the tracks in order to see which ones are the fastest to complete. Tracks like "Crocodile Point" in Kenya and "Isojarvi" In Finland are good choices, or any others with similar completion times. Here are a list of the classes for reference:

Rally Classes:

S2000

90's

80's

70's

60's

Group B

Raid

Pro

Open

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/14.jpg(B)Air Miles

Win a race in every location

You don't need to worry about it if you are going through the DiRT Tour and winning every event, it will pop over time. The trophy requires you to win a race in each of the 8 locations, the type of race doesn't matter. For reference here is a list of the locations.

Locations:

Norway

Finland

Kenya

Michigan

Aspen

L.A. Coliseum

Monaco

Smelter

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/15.jpg(B)Self Preservation Society

Win a DiRT Tour race in the Mini Cooper without receiving any damage

There are a lot of Mini's in the 60's class of rally cars. So when you do a rally event that gives the 60's as an option, choose it and then choose a mini cooper. An early race like this is the "Tsavo Classic Shield" In the Transworld Clash event of Season 1. With difficulty on 1 for the easiest time you need to win this race without taking damage. You should be able to drive fairly carefully on the lowest difficulty and still win but remember you have your flashbacks, so if you do damage your car, you can just rewind and pretend it didn't happen. Win the race and the trophy is yours.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/16.jpg(B)The Real Thing

Win a Rally race in the DiRT Tour using the interior camera and the HUD switched off

Firstly, start up a rally event in the DiRT Tour. Then before you set off, press the :r1: button (by default) until you get to the helmet view from inside the car. Next, pause the game and go to options and then hud. Switch "Entire hud" to off. Back out the menu's, restart the race and go on to win. If you are struggling remember you can drop the difficulty to 1. You always have your flashbacks available to you as well if you mess up. It's also an easy trophy to pair up with "Assistance is Futile" and knock both of those out in a single race.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/17.jpg(B)California Dreams

Achieve a podium finish in the X Games Tournament

The X Games are the last event unlocked in season 2. There are 3 events that you need to complete to get this, the first two to unlock the final and then the final itself (you can leave the DC challenge for now if you want but you will have to come back to it eventually for "Platinum Performance"). Again the difficulty can be dropped if you are having trouble and for this trophy you just need to place in the top 3 of the final of this event, but it will need to be won eventually for "From DiRT to Glory".

Achieve a podium finish in the Winter X Games Tournament

The Winter X Games are the last event of season 3. There are 3 events you need to complete to get this, the first two to unlock the final and then the final itself (you can leave the DC challenge for now if you want although it does have a trophy associated with it also, see "Cool Running" and the platinum medal will be needed in that challenge for "Platinum Performance"). Again the difficulty can be dropped if you are having trouble and for this trophy you just need to be in the top 3 finishers of the final event but it will need to be won eventually for "From DiRT to Glory"

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/19.jpg(B)Rally Evolution

Win a DiRT Tour race in a Rally car from each decade

Rally events in the DiRT tour sometimes give you the option of which class of rally car you want to use from a few of the ones listed below. As you progress through the game just vary your choices between the decades until you have covered all of them. You need to be winning the races so drop the difficulty to 1 if you want to.

Decades:

S2000

90's

80's

70's

60's

See "Eat my DiRT!".

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/22.jpg(S)Eat my DiRT!

Reach Driver Rep Level 30

Rep is basically this games version of experience, you gain rep in each race for your position, challenges that you complete and the amount of flashback you don't use. The amount given for the challenges varies based on your car, the cars unlock as you level up and the higher ranking ones generally give you more rep for completed challenges. You shouldn't need to worry about this too much if you are going for everything else including getting 1st in every event. The most significant rep comes from just winning races as you progress and the challenges with high level cars so those should be your priority. The flashback rep is negligible really so I wouldn't worry too much about that, use them when you need to if it means guaranteeing the win. You don't really need to worry about this trophy, it will come. You will get it long before finishing off "From DiRT to Glory" and "Platinum Performance". You will also get a lot of rep playing online going for the "Super Star" trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/23.jpg(B)World Renowned

Achieve first place finishes and pass the DC Challenge in a World Tour event

There are 6 world tour events, 1 for each discipline, and they unlock later on in the DiRT Tour around season 3 time you should have some of them available to you. To unlock the rest just keep progressing and winning events, winning events in a particular discipline a lot will get you access to that world tour. With difficulty on 1 for the easiest time, win all the events of a tour and complete the DC challenge with at least a bronze medal to get this trophy, you'll need the platinum medal in the challenge eventually for the "Platinum Performance" though.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/24.jpg(S)Gymkhana Aficionado

Complete all Gymkhana Championships

This is another one where you just need to concentrate on "From DiRT to Glory" and you will get this. The Gymkhana events are dotted around the different events in each season. It's not referring to any of the DC challenges, just competition based Gymkhana tour events. Remember the Gymkhana World Tour is needed too. Once you win your last one, you'll get your trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/25.jpg(S)SuperSeries Champion

Win the DC SuperSeries Championship

The DC Super Series is the last event of Season 4 in the DiRT Tour you need to get to the last race of the championship by finishing the unlocked ones. Once you have the last event unlocked, you need to go on to win it and you will get this trophy. Again you can ignore the DC challenge for now but you will need to come back and get the platinum medal for "Platinum Performance". Difficulty can be set to 1 as always so overall this shouldn't cause you any trouble.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/26.jpg(G)From DiRT to Glory

Achieve first place finishes in all DiRT Tour events

This is where most of your time will go in getting this platinum. There are 4 seasons with 4 events in each that you need to complete. You need to win every race in all of them, the DC challenges aren't necessary for this particular trophy but are needed for Platinum Performance" and, as a result, the platinum. There are also the 6 world tour events for each of the specific disciplines. Win all these events in to this trophy. The difficulty can be set to 1 the entire time if you want an easy ride. For reference, you need to win all the races in the following events:

Season 1:

Alpine Stars Trophy

Transworld Clash

Brembo Blast

Gymkhana Academy

Season 2:

Rampage

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/27.jpg(S)Gym-Carnage

Score 500,000 Points in a Gymkhana Event

This can be quite challenging. You get 1:30 in Gymkhana to rack up as many points as you can. Your short term goal is to get to x3 multiplier and stay there. You need to keep performing tricks or it will drop, you need to avoid performing too many of the same trick close together or it will drop and you absolutely cannot hit things or it will drop a lot. The smash blocks are useful to wait until you have a high multiplier to grab since they are very quick and easy and still give good points. Try and work your way around the arena, stringing tricks together. If you can get your multiplier to x3 and keep it there for most of the event then you should get this. It's all about practice. Also remember your flashbacks, if you ram a wall and lose your multiplier on an otherwise good run, rewind and pretend like it never happened. I did this in the Monaco, Port Hercule. I found that I was doing quite significantly better there than any of the other tracks I'd tried. In the video run I got over 600,000 quite easily so you can copy the track and the route if you like, if you pull it off you should get the score needed.

Beat the Bobsleigh in the Norway Speed Run DC Challenge

This is the DC challenge event in the Winter X Games in season 3. For this trophy you need to get the platinum medal In this challenge. It works like the other speedrun challenges, you need to go from point to point as fast as you can and hit every gate along the way. Remember you have your flashbacks so if you are having a good run and mess up, use them. If you do miss a gate then either flashback or restart as you won't get the platinum medal.

Smash every robot in a Smash Attack DC Challenge

The first smash attack DC is in the Rampage event in season 2. You need to hit every robot in the challenge in order to get this trophy which is also the platinum medal requirement. See video for a run of this challenge. Remember you have your flashbacks so if you are having a good run and mess up, use them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/30.jpg(B)Perfect Sprint

Complete a clean run in a Gymkhana Sprint DC Challenge

The Gymkhana sprints are a sequence of different Gymkhana trick types that you need to complete in order and under the target time. For this trophy your time isn't relevant but you just need to make sure you don't bash any of the scenery during the run, so you can afford to take it quite easy. Remember you have your flashbacks so if you are having a good run and mess up, use them. The easiest one for me is probably Gymkhana Sprint 3 in the Masters Championship of season 4. There are no tight spin sections or anything like that to worry about in that challenge. To see a run of that challenge look at the Gymkhana Sprint section of the "Platinum Performance" trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/31.jpg(B)Showcase Drifter

Score 25,000 drift points in a Drift Showcase DC Challenge

The platinum medal requirement for the DC drift challenge in the Transworld Clash event of season 1 is 26,000. So you can work on that one and get this trophy at the same time. Drifting is all about going around the corners fast at a significant angle in order to get the most points. Remember you have your flashbacks so if you are having a good run and mess up, use them. You can see a run of this level in the Drift Showcase section of the "Platinum Performance" trophy.

Achieve Platinum medals in all of the DC Challenges

Probably the hardest part of the game in terms of platinum difficulty. Every event in each of the seasons has a DC challenge attached to it that you will need to get the platinum medal on for this trophy. So do each of the discipline specific world tour events. There are 26 in total (The Gymkhana Academy in season 1 has 5). Take them 1 by 1 and practice until you get them. Trick steer assist definitely helps for challenges involving the relevant tricks so just keep it on at all time in the assist menu. Also remember you always have your flashbacks to fall back on. 1 mistake doesn't mean you should abandon your run. Again persistence is the key to this one, keep at it and the platinum medals will come.

Gymkhana Academy Tutorials

There are 5 of these located at the end of Season 1 in the Gymkhana Academy. They introduce you to all the major trick types of Gymkhana. For these, refer to the "Teacher's Pet" trophy for more information and videos of all the tutorials.

Drift Showcase Events

Drift Showcase events are a point to point stage where you go along and then back, drifting as much as you can to build up points. Really these events aren't too bad. You can just go fast and spin out most of the time and still get a 1-2 thousand point drift. You can't just go at a snail's pace the whole time though since it is timed, you don't have to reach the end or anything but it just takes your score either when you do finish or when the time runs out. There are 4 of these events, see the video below for a run of them all.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZM5DCvzNQg]YouTube - DiRT 3 - Drift Showcase 01 - 04 Platinum Medals[/ame]

Gymkhana Attack Events

Gymkhana Attack is where around 6 different tricks are dotted about and you need to finish all of them in any order within the time. The key really is just getting a good route and then practising until you pull off all the tricks in one run. There are 3 of these events, see the video.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9rSCJiXHRc]YouTube - DiRT 3 - Gymkhana Attack 01 - 03 Platinum Medals[/ame]

Gymkhana Sprint Events

Gymkhana sprint is very similar to attack although there are more objects/tricks and they have to be done in a set order. Again it's just practising until you nail all the tricks. Most time is lost at donuts and spins. If you ever have to go round a donut a second time or restart a spin then chances are you will just miss the medal requirement. There are 4 of these, see the video.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=km3XEBSCZoA]YouTube - DiRT 3 - Gymkhana Sprint 01 - 04 Platinum Medals[/ame]

Smash Attack Events

Smash attacks are all about driving into cardboard robots and avoiding the cardboard buildings. It's all about knowing the route and practising. The route for the first couple is fairly straightforward but for the later ones it is a bit more open to interpretation but you also don't need to hit every robot for the platinum medal in those. There are 4 of these events, see the video below to get the routes for all of them.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb63scZnf4E]YouTube - DiRT 3 Smash Attack 01 04 Platinum Medals[/ame]

Sprint Events

Sprint events are simple point to point speed runs where you need to pass through all the gates. If you miss a gate then flashback or restart because you almost certainly won't get gold. There isn't really much to say about these since the route is laid out for you, It's just about being as fast as you can.

The Battersea compound is unlocked after you complete season 1. The 2nd and 3rd areas are unlocked when you complete season 2 and 3 respectively. There are 4 groups of missions in the compound, a set for each area and a group of cumulative challenges across all of them. At any time you can pause any time to look through a list of all the challenges.

Battersea Area 1 - Parking Lot:

Area 1 is fairly straightforward. The collectible logos are at the very start of the video so grab those first. The rest should be pretty easy to work out but watch through the video if there are any that you are unsure of. The hardest one for me was the 180 spin. It took quite a few tries to get that one right. Use the big ramp in the middle of the area, build up as much speed as you can and do a handbrake turn just before you launch off the ramp. For a full list of the missions in the order that they appear in the video, refer to the video description.

Again the collectibles are at the start of the video so go grab those. From the rest of the challenges the only difficult stuff really comes from understanding what a few of them mean. The thread the needle mission for example, the crate you're looking for it in the large wall of crates between the parking lot and depot. The container slide one is a bit misleading, the location is near the parking lot and requires you to drift around a container in that area, near an opening into the main power station building. All of these are in the video. For a full list of the missions in the order that they appear in the video, refer to the video description.

Battersea Area 3 - Power Station:

The third area is the most difficult but again it's mostly just knowing what certain mission are actually asking you to do and then finding out where to do them. Again, the collectibles are right at the start of the video. The Table topper jump is easy to miss, it doesn't look like much of a jump but is up one floor in the middle area, you can see the arrows on the ground showing where it starts and finishes. The stairs are located next to the river over in the depot area, near one of the forklifts. Again, all these are in the video. For a full list of the missions in the order that they appear in the video, refer to the video description.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ae6tnu-yS0]YouTube - DiRT 3 - Battersea Compound Power Station 100%[/ame]

Battersea All Areas:

There are 8 mission in this category, leave these until the end since you should be close to them after doing everything else, they are fairly straightforward. The parking lot is best for smashing objects as there are a lot of them around, anything like boxes, bits of wood & barrels count and they re-position themselves after you smash them so you can drive round and smash them again.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/40.jpg(B)Road Trip

Complete a Joyride online with at least 3 other players

This is quite a boring trophy and it can be tricky to find a game that hasn't started with 3 other people if you are searching on your own. So making your own room and only starting when you have enough people is another way to go. Obviously if you have 3 friends with the game it will be easy to set this up or you can find people to play with in the Boosting Thread (http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/dirt-3/108040-trophy-boosting-thread.html). Once you do start, you will find that joyride consists of driving around the Battersea compound for 20 minutes doing whatever you want, there are no challenges or anything other than those you make for yourself so really the mode can be quite boring. You don't have to do anything other than just sit out the 20 minutes though and hope none of the others quit. Get to the end with 3 other people in the game and you'll get the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/41.jpg(B)The Professional

Complete your first Pro Tour race online

There are two ways to search. Pro Tour is more structured, ranked events if you like and Jam Session is user created events so the rules can be drastically different. For this just search for any pro tour discipline that you fancy and complete your first race. The trophy will pop regardless of the result.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/42.jpg(B)Taking the Trophy

Win 10 online games (Pro Tour or Jam Session)

This trophy requires you to complete and win 10 events cumulatively over all your Pro Tour and Jam Session races. This should come in your progress towards the top rank and "Super Star" trophy but will also be easy to boost with another person in Jam Session as you could set up quick Rallycross races and even combine it with a trophy like "Honorable Driver".

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/43.jpg(B)The Road Ahead

Complete 25 online games (Pro Tour or Jam Session)

This is easy since you just need to complete 25 races across both Pro Tour modes and Jam Session modes. You don't need to do well so this will pop as you work on other things.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/44.jpg(B)Honorable Driver

Complete an online multiplayer race with a ‘Cautious’ rating

There are 4 ratings that appear as a coloured dot next to your name. White, Green, Orange and Red are the scale. You start out at Green and need to get to White for this trophy. Playing on your own, Jam session Point to Point races are your best bet. Just make sure you use the Custom Join menu to get a game with Damage and Impact Evaluation on. Join and start racing, then It's mostly on you to just not hit things. It should take about 5 races to get to white or maybe a bit less or more depending on where you stand before you start. You can also set up quick 1 lap rallycross races with a partner to get quick clean races that way, just make sure collisions and impact ratings etc are all set to on for it to count towards your rating. Try using the Boosting thread (http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/dirt-3/108040-trophy-boosting-thread.html) to find partners if you need to.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/45.jpg(B)Steer Hunter

Complete a game of Invasion without any negative points (Pro Tour)

Go to Pro Tour and search the party mode playlist. It will cycle through the party game modes and the one you are looking for is Invasion. It's basically a big version of the smash attack events from single player. Cardboard aliens appear that you need to smash through to get points while avoiding the cardboard buildings. For this trophy, simply get through a round without hitting any buildings and getting negative points from it. You don't have to win or do well so can just sit in a corner if you like. The trophy will pop at the end of the round.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/46.jpg(B)Can't Touch This!

Remain uninfected in a round of Outbreak (Pro Tour or Jam Session)

For this you need to play Outbreak, In outbreak 1 player gets infected at the start of the round and it is then their job to infect all other players by ramming them. Once infected a player switches sides and must help to infect any players that are left uninfected at that time. This can be boosted in a Jam Session. When going for it in a normal match the best strategy is to just always be prepared. Set yourself in a location where you will see the opponents coming and can easily escape when they do. For example the top of containers are great since when your opponent sees you, they need to work their way to the top and as they do you can easily jump off and escape. The infected cars are coloured green and they have all uninfected cars marked on their screen with an icon, so it's no use just hiding in an open container unless you get very lucky. It will be quite hard usually to get this in a 2 minute match but smaller matches are definitely better.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/47.jpg(B)Cheeze It!

Be the mouse in a Cat n Mouse game where your team has gone on to win the game (Jam Session)

Cat n Mouse is where 2 teams compete, each have 1 driver in a Mini and the rest are in faster cars and start further back. The goal as a team is to get your Mini to the end first. To do this the "Cats" must protect their Mini and do anything to slow down the other teams, ramming them off the road for example. This trophy needs to be done in a Jam Session, so select that and do custom join, look for a game of Cat n Mouse. If you do one with a few rounds at least you are almost guaranteed to get a shot at being the mouse since it's random but it multi round events it cycles through your team. For this trophy, as the "mouse" in the mini you need to win for your team. As the driver of the mini you are much slower than the chasing cars so will need to rely somewhat on your team. You can do your best to avoid the chasing cars though obviously but most of the time you are a sitting duck. Putting on the brakes when a cat pulls up along side you is a fun one when it goes well as they swing across and miss. This can be boosted if you really need to but will need 4 people to start a game.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/48.jpg(B)Flag Stealer

Steal the flag from the opposing team 5 times in a game of Transporter (Pro Tour)

This needs to be done in Pro Tour so not much chance of boosting. You could luck out and get in a game with others going for it too but it's not something you can really rely on. You need to personally ram another car that is carrying the flag to steal it from them 5 times in order to get this trophy. Best chance is, when you do get the flag, take it to a corner and hope for a pile up. If you get a good corner with enough people trapped in the flag will be pinging from car to car like crazy and you should be able to get a good few steals at least. If you don't get all you need before someone gets it out the corner then try your best to get another steal and take it back there. There is a timer on the game though so you still need to be fairly quick about it.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/49.jpg(B)Join the Party

Win a game in each of the multiplayer party modes (Pro Tour or Jam Session)

There are 4 party modes that you need to win. Playing in team mode is advised since it ups your chances of winning and you need to search in team mode for Cat n Mouse. This does count across Pro Tour and Jam Session so you can boost these wins with some friends. Things like Cat n Mouse would need 4 people to start a game though. It is worth trying normally though since especially in teams your chances of winning after a few games are pretty high.

Game Modes:

Transporter

Invasion

Outbreak

Cat n Mouse

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/50.jpg(S)King of the Road

Win an online race in Hardcore Mode

Go to Pro Tour and search Hardcore mode. Hardcore is where all hud is removed and the camera is locked on the cockpit view. Damage and things like that are all at full and assists are all off. You need to win a race in this mode in order to get this trophy. It's really just a standard race but most people probably aren't used to using cockpit view so it can take some adjusting to and it is quite annoying not know what your position is (if it isn't obvious) or what lap you are on (if it's a circuit race). Getting in a small room is ideal since it's less people to beat. If you are on at quieter times in the day you could even try searching at the same time as a friend to get a lobby to yourselves in which case you could decide on one of you to get the easy win.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/51.jpg(B)Super Star

Earn enough fans to achieve the Superstar title

You need get 250,000 fans and reach level 35 to get this trophy.

When going for this normally there are 3 kinds of XP (fans) you want to go after. The first is based on your finishing position in the race so the higher you place, the more XP you get, naturally. Secondly you will want to have your driver rating at white at all times, see "Honorable Driver". This gives you a 20% bonus on whatever you earn from your finishing position, In order to keep this at white at all times you can stick to event types that don't affect your rating such as Pro Tour Point to Point and Party events. Lastly there are 2 more types of xp you can earn, although sadly not at the same time. When going solo you get an xp bonus when you beat drivers more than 5 levels above you and when playing in team modes you get a bonus when your team wins. Overall the team bonus is probably the easier one to get more often so I'd say play team modes especially if you can get a good team together or luck into one while searching. It will still take a long while to rank but if you get both of those bonuses plus a reasonable finish you should average around 1000 a race but that can be hard to get every time. It will probably take 10-15 hours to reach the rank needed if you combine all these way of getting points.

You can boost XP to get to the needed rank faster however with this boosting method (Credit to Maka of x360a.org for this one):

See the boosting thread to find partners: http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/dirt-3/108040-trophy-boosting-thread.html

First of all you will need 8 people to do this and it will probably take a total of 5-6 hours all going well. To max out the XP you are getting, everyone should have the white driver rating for their 20% bonus, see "Honorable Driver". Split into 2 groups of 4 and both search for Pro Tour Gymkhana at the same time. Best to have everyone in a text chat to coordinate things more easily. You shouldn't have any trouble matching up but if you do get in a game without the other group, both back out and try again until you're successful. Once in the same room you need to start and make sure nobody scores any points but you do need to move from the start position. If nobody scores the event will end in an 8 way tie at the end of the 1:30 round.

The results for every player will be:

1st Place Finish = 1,000 fans

White driver rating bonus = 200 fans

Team win bonus = 500 fans

Total = 1700 fans

Achieve first place in all DiRT Tour Monte Carlo Events

This DLC pack adds a bunch of new events in DiRT Tour Mode. These won't be required for the core game trophy "From DiRT to Glory" though. You will need to go through each of the events one by one and come out as the overall winner from each. Same deal with these as the other DiRT Tour events, put the difficulty on 1 if you want the easiest time. They are all rally events as all the courses in this pack are rally.

Season 1:

Brembo Blast - Lantosque Historic Run

Season 2:

Rampage - La Bollene Legends

Offroad Rush - Alpine Open Cup

Season 3:

Gold Series - Castillon Trophy

International Skirmish - Riveria Open

Season 4:

All Stars Show Down - Battle in Luceram

Masters Championship - Le Seuil Legends

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/61.jpg(B)Against the Clock

Complete a Time Trial in Monte Carlo

From the main menu, go to Single Player > Time Trial, select rally as the discipline and Monte Carlo as the location. You can then pick any of the tracks and vehicle classes. Just complete the time trial to get the trophy, it doesn't have to be done in any particular time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/62.jpg(B)The Tourist

Drive in excess of 100 miles (161 km) in Monte Carlo

Getting through all the new Monte Carlo DiRT Tour races once will get you near enough half way to this total. For the rest I would just suggest heading online and playing jam session rally events, since you can dictate what tracks you join or select if you make your own game. You can go for "French Connection" and avoid having to boost it afterwards if you want since you will need to do a good bit of racing on these tracks anyway.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/451/63.jpg(B)French Connection

Win an online race in Monte Carlo (Jam Session)

Can easily be boosted with 1 other person, set up a Rally jam session in Monte Carlo and trade wins on any of the tracks. Other than that you will have to custom search for an event in Monte Carlo or set up your own and race properly to try and win.

Didn't know you made a guide for this game as well, looking good! Those videos are bound to help when I get around to getting this game.

Thanks Bread :)

Very good guide and video guide. The game getting harder as I go because I'm in season 2 now

Does this guide has tips on what cars to use in each event type?

For the cars I never found it made much of a difference, I'd just always go for the top unlocked car at the time due to it giving more rep per completed challenge. In the events where it gives you choice of classes, just experiment and find out which you like most. For example in land rush I'd always choose buggies over trucks because they are more fun to drive imo.
