CrazyJJ16
Haven't got a MOVE Controller, and don't really plan on buying one either. Is this game still easily playable with a standard Dualshock 3 controller?
McGarnigle
I cant really speak for how the DS3 compares to the move since I only have a DS3, but on its own merits the DS3 works just fine. The game certainly isn't difficult to play with it and indeed some people say that it's actually easier to use the controller due to the ability to spam melee attacks, though personally I never found melee to be all that useful. For me, getting the platinum using the DS3 was around a 3/10 in difficulty... Edited April 10, 2012 by McGarnigle
Terminator
It can be done but I found the Move Controller allowed finer control over the aiming and certain other actions.
Misantropus
I found out I played better with the DS3 than with the Move.
joshwith
I don't have a Move, but I thought it was quite easy using a DS3. There's nothing difficult about it, I thought.
Phodda
I used a move for my first run, and then tried using DS3 for a couple of stages, just to test it. For me, dunno, it was way hard to play with a DS3 than with a move.
MerioMerio
Haven't got a MOVE Controller, and don't really plan on buying one either. Is this game still easily playable with a standard Dualshock 3 controller? I don't own a move, can only say with a DS3 isn't hard at all and it is also fun to play with
Excstazy
Tried both, the move is easier to aim faster with, but the advantage of melee on the DS3 is just insane, makes the game 1000s times easier.. You can just spam melee and not get hit 99% of the time, makes 5 stars a cake walk except for level 9 due to the boss.
PratikH
Is this game doable on Impossible Mode?
Randall Flagg
The collectibles can be a major pain with the DS3 - I don't have a move so I don't know if its better with that. This rail thing is really annoying in parts, especially when you have to play an entire level over if you miss one damn collectible.
DonJohn80
The game can be quite easily platinumed with a standard controller.
wazza1974
I did not use a Dualshock controller at any point, I appreciate that people have advised the Dualshock is best for the Challenge Maps as you can spam the saw easier, but I just used a Move controller for everything. BrakoV5
I've just finished chapter 2 using the DS3. Its difficult, but only because its a rail-gun game. If it was a FPS game then it would have been much more enjoyable (and much easier). You don't get to explore hardly any of the effort gone into the levels. Could be a good sign that a FPS Dead Space spin-off could be done.
luigino0911
I tried both and I found the Move much more controllable than the DS3. I'll be using the DS3 only for the challenges, and even then, only to spam the Rock Saw.
Furious Gargoyle
I used the DS3 you need to increase the sensitivity a bit though.
