This is the 3rd installment for Dead or Alive 5 with new features and characters added. This game is very easy this time around. You shouldn't have any problems. The steps below are optional.

STEPS

Step One: Miscellaneous Trophies + Training

During this step, it's time for training and completing challenges. Before you train, you can go after those random and quick trophies. There is enough to get you around 40-50% of the trophies quickly. After that is done, you should try to complete command training. It's not hard at all. Once you finish with command training, go to combo challenges. If you played Street Fighter IV, then expect about the same difficulty with these challenges as well, but you only need to complete all challenges for one character. Below are the list of trophies you'll unlock after finishing everything in this step.

Trigger the Special Danger Zone in Sky City Tokyo.

In order to receive this trophy, you must play in Sky City Tokyo level. Trigger the special danger zone by slamming your opponent towards the wall barrier from edge of building (If you have played Ninja Gaiden 2). This will make the buddha statue appear. Now power blow your enemy towards that statue and trophy will unlock.

For Tango Kilo November (Hot Zone level), you're locked in a barricade, and in order to get this trophy, you must stay in this first barricade. Perform a power blow, and you'll see a helicopter. Lock on it during the power blow (it lights up yellow), and you'll trigger this special danger zone. The trophy unlocks right after helicopter crashes.

For Gesundheit! you need to perform a power blow while fighting in the Show stage. You have to aim dead at the bullseye on the wall. If you see video below, they will pin point each locations for both trophies.

See video below...

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2205/E1C.jpg You Asked for It! (B)

Set "Throwdowns" to "Accept" and have a Throwdown in Versus, Arcade, or Free Training mode.

See Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/2205/B0B.jpg Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere (S)

Set "Throwdowns" to "Accept" and have 10 Throwdowns in Versus, Arcade, or Free Training mode.

When you in the sub menu for Versus, Arcade or Free Training mode, you will see a list of options. One of those options are to change throwdown settings. Make sure that throwdowns are set to accept. Once done, go into the battle or training and wait for invitations. They will pop out and be either red or blue little letters on the bottom right of your screen. Quickly press the :select: (select) button to join game.

Helpful tip for those having problems/major problems/difficulty with the " You Asked for It! " (B) and " Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere " (S) Trophy and getting successful throw down fights to play/fight in :

The throw down search function by default/normal circumstances apparently only seems to be able to do searches by local or nearby opponents it can pick up/detect. According to only the region your PSN account is of/from. For your potential throw down and rank opponent fights. So chances are, you will be very limited and be annoyed often. Of not being able to get throw down opponents and fight request for these fights very often or frequently. Sometimes even taking forever.

To get around this problem and annoying hassle for your throw down fight success and trophies. Even rank matches count. Here is what you do. Go to Online mode from the menu and connect to the server/online server or so. Now you will have a lot of online related options. Like look at Register/Rival players you have added to your list. Look up online Leaderboards. Search for quick match, Lobby match. Search for Lobby/Create Lobby match. And Search for Rank match, etc. You want to go to the Search for Rank Match options and menu. Go there. Now change the following as the most important things to fix your throw down problems. Change your prefer opponent connect Bars to 3+ or 4+ or over. To have a often stable/smooth online match, if you care about slowdown or massive lag. Now here is the most important part. Change your Search for Opponent option, to Any or All region. Do not change it or keep it in Own region or Same region. Or even Nearby region. Make sure you change your rank search option to Any/All region. Now hit :cross: or so to confirm your preferred Rank match search option and save it. You will now start a search for rank opponent process. But you can cancel it and not fight with :circle: or so. The important thing is/was you changed your rank search option and preference, which you did or should have previously. Now exit from there and go back to playing any offline mode that allows throw down fights. Once again make sure throw down is enabled. Before you start playing any offline mode that allows it. With your new rank options and search preference saved, you should now be able to get more opponents more often. To fight with more/much more frequently or finally some to fight with/against. To start getting these rather still annoying trophies. This should help both boosters and non booster players get both of these annoying throw down related trophies in this game.

You'll receive trophy as well as You Asked for It! after accepting a throwdown invitation and finishing the battle 10 times.

This version of DOA5 is very easy, and you don't have to worry about struggling. You can unlock each trophy by playing rookie course for both Solo and Tag battles in Arcade, Time Attack and Survival. It says counter hit which means you need to hit the enemy before the enemy hits you. Since you're using :lssw: :triangle: then you have to attack him so quick that you don't see the enemy try to attack you but the frames of the body movement. Thus creates slipping...

I have one Question. Does the game require to complete all courses in tag Arcade, Time Attack and Survival or you can complete only one tag in every mode?

yes, you don't need to play all courses. just (1) in arcade solo and tag, time attack solo and tag, survival solo and tag. which equals 6 total and you'll have all trophies for those modes.

All Tutorials Cleared - Dead Or Alive 5: Ultimate - YouTube

THANKS!!!!!!!! Finally finished it and unlocked the platinum thanks to your advice and video. Originally I keep on pressing :lssw: :triangle: and then quickly followed by :lsse: :circle:, Ryu would do a "Ground Sweeping Kick" to flip the dummy Kasumi back up again after the initial "Slipping Punch", but thats not what this combo wants us to do, instead it should be a "Stomach Jab Kick" (just as shown in your video) which is performed by :lssw: :triangle: , SLIGHTLY DELAY for about half a second, and then :lsse: :circle:.

I swear there are some many instances in this tutorial mode as well as the combo challenges, the command list doesn't actually show you the proper input. My problem with tutorial lesson 37.8 is the perfect example that proofs my point. I was pressing the punch and kicks as fast as I can (based on experience with most other fighting games, combos are supposed to be performed with lightning fast input, so I press the buttons as fast as I can) , which is wrong, the combos shown in the list can only be performed by delaying certain attacks here and there, but the command list never tells you when to delay, and when not to.

Once again, thanks for your help Ryuujin, you're a life saver :)

Back in DOA4 I've always used the analog sticks to play this game, and I had no problem pulling off Ryu's combos at all, including all of his Izuna Drops. But now on the PS3 and DOA5, the Dual Shock 3 controller's Analog Sticks doesn't seem to work as well as the 360 controller's Analog Sticks.

When ever I try to do a Izuna Otoshi with the left analog stick, the game will most likely register it as something else, such as Guillotine Throw. However when I use the D-pad for directional input instead of the Analog Sticks, I have never experienced another input error, when I try to do an Izuna Drop, it would always give me an Izuna Drop.

This makes me wonder .... what do you guys use to play this game? The D-pad or the Analog Stick? Or do you have a Arcade Fighting Stick?

When i was doing Command Training on DoA5 i've done everything with Dualshocks D-Pad. For throws i was using Analog Stick, it's easiert to do a 180 or 360 with Analog.

BUT!

I just couldn't pull of Hayabusas izuna holds with Dualshock and was using Arcade Stick just for that inputs .... well, that's why i will not touch DoA5+ ^^ I would fail because of hayabusa

Never been able to successfully do any of the Izuna throws, even back on DOA4. Not sure if it's because of the input or the timing, but those types of moves (360 directional inputs) are the ones I've never been able to do. (Don't even get me started with the 720 directional command inputs). It's why I'm glad you can map those types of moves to the analog sicks for Blazblue.

So, you don't need to finish arcade mode on Legend? You can get all of those trophies on a easy difficulty setting? That seems odd, are those glitched or just wrongly worded? Seems a bit strange that is specifically states "all courses" when you really only need one

Not complaining though. That just means I could finally get a fighting game Plat
