the game didnt freeze/crash/bug out ONCE. Ok just once when using VATS it took like 1 minute to get back to normal while my char was aiming at an enemy but other than that no single major problem encountered.

Did they finally fix the game or was i just lucky??

oh and while you read this. how did you like DM? I thought it was cool, only the casino streets with the poisonous fog was kinda annoying and hard to tell where you are, as everything looks too similar.

This probably should've been posted on the Dead Money subforum.

Anyway, this actually doesn't surprise me all that much. In Fallout 3, the more linear DLC packs also were less likely to freeze. I assume it's because the DLC takes place on a totally different and smaller map. I don't really think it will have any effect on the main game, which will still be freezing all over the place.

sorry didn't realize there was a subforum for DM: Mods please move if possible.

It's true that this dlc is quite straightforward but still, the fo3 dlc where you are abducted by aliens (forgot the name) was also quite small and still froze like every 5 minutes.

psbp85.

i reckon it took me like 5-6 hours to complete it, if you would explore the Sierra Madre streets, i guess it would be more like 7 hours. Although once you complete the dlc, you have a free roam mode but i dont know if all enemies are still present or if theyre all gone

How longs the game play for this dlc? as I thought £7.99 was abit steep :|

5-15 hours depending on whether you rush through or take your time and explore/loot every building/plaza.

Took me 18; my brother took 9.

Well worth it IMO since you can replay it for different endings and different outcomes with the companions.

It never crashed on me once either. I think Obsidian has started to get their bugs all back in the cage. So I will be happy to buy Honest Hearts when it comes out.

I loved Dead Money, great immersion, story, and fun gameplay (until the end when it gets annoying)

Not the greatest dlc in the fallout series. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. It's true the glitches were much better, but in terms of story it was lacking a bit. I really didn't care about the characters and constantly wanted to shoot everyone. Dog and God were kind of cool though.

THIS. This game as a whole froze considerably less than Fallout 3 did (game and add-ons), less and less as the game got more patched. Can't say the same for Fallout 3. Doing the last mission in Broken Steel, I would save like every 2 minutes, as the last area is pretty large and it kept on freezing on me (SOOOO fustrating).

I can't imagine people wanting to go through this area on hardcore. It didn't seem like it was possible to rush through with all the traps indestructible traps. Didn't bother much with the casino - having 6 luck and none of my booster equipment, I got screwed over big time. Too bad you need to be fairly high level (or mid level with the new cap), this place makes an easy way to get lots of medical items/drugs + the light armor.
