Overview:

 • Estimated Difficulty: 4.5/10
 • Estimated Time to Platinum: 20-30 hours.
 • Offline Trophies: 43 ((B)26, (S)13, (G)3, (P)1)
 • Online Trophies: 0
 • Minimum Number of Playthroughs Required: 1

 • Missable Trophies: 4 (Open Air Parking, High Flier, Aerial Predator, Who's Counting?)
 • Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes, you need to complete the game on Apocalyptic difficulty.
 • Do trophies stack?: Yes, both PS3 and PS4 trophies stack.
 • Do Difficulty Trophies Stack?: Yes.
 • Do Cheats Effect Trophies?: There is only one cheat (the scythe code), and it actually gives you a trophy for using it. It in no way adversely effects any other trophies either.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete the game on Apocalyptic difficulty

It is important to note that you can't continue playing the game if you beat the final boss. Furthermore, there is no "continue" or "New Game+" option to allow you to finish up collecting things from your first playthrough. Because of this you should make a save prior to the final boss, allowing you to load up your first run in order to gather all of the collectibles. If you want to know exactly where to save the game to ensure that you won't beat the game without saving, read the following:
Save After Forging Ultimate Blade - After you forge the Armageddon Blade for the "Ultimate Blade" trophy, you should save the game in a slot that you will not overwrite with a new game save as the very next thing you will do is fight the final boss and the game will be over.

If you want to travel to Vulgrim in the Scalding Gallow before doing so, that is fine too, because you will be doing a lot of traveling around that location.

Unless you are opposed to playing on a max difficulty, or do not mind playing through the game twice, I suggest you begin the game on Apocalyptic. It is not very challenging, and it actually becomes easier the farther into the game you get.

During your first playthrough your primary focus should be on completing the four missable trophies (Open Air Parking, High Flier, Aerial Predator, Who's Counting?), and getting the Fury's Embrace enhancement (see Tip 2 below on how to get it). The missable trophies and their events occur in the order I just listed, so be prepared to do them as such. If you do not wish to stress about them during your first playthrough of the game, simply save at their locations (as shown in the trophy descriptions) and finish them at a later time. Just be sure not to save over those save files.

Aside from the four missable trophies you should simply enjoy the game, and not fixate on the trophies. Most of the non-story related trophies require you to backtrack, or expend a lot of time doing a repetitive task. You can't effectively backtrack until you've attained all of the required tools to complete the puzzles, which you will not have until the last two hours of the game.

Do not stress over collectibles, collecting souls, or maxing out your weapons but don't purposely avoid collecting ones that you come across either. Just take note of which ones you've collected by checking them off this list. The same goes for Health and Wrath chests.

Step 2: Collect all the collectibles

If you have not yet collected the "Fury's Embrace Legendary Enhancement" you should immediately refer to "Tip 2" below in the "Tips and Tricks" section before reading further, because I will be assuming that is the case from here on out.

Before you start out on your search I suggest visiting the Collectibles Locations portion of this guide (click the link to open in a new window), and print it out. You should refer to it as a checklist, and literally check off each one after you have collected it and explored the area. That way you will know which areas have been covered, removing the need to double check those areas.

You should begin your collectibles search at "The Twilight Cathedral" and work your way out from there.

You will have unlocked the following four collectible trophies by the end of this step: Legendary Form, Wrath of War, Full Power, and World Raider.

Step 3: Cleanup

The key trophies that will remain at this point will be Battle Hardened, Dark Rider, and quite possibly Improvised Kills and Horseman. Refer to those trophy descriptions in the guide below for how to achieve these trophies.

Note by this step if you are missing any story related trophies labeled as "Impossible to miss" in this guide, your game has bugged and you will have to do that step again.

If you haven't already completed the 4 missable trophies (Open Air Parking, High Flier, Aerial Predator, Who's Counting?) I suggest loading up the saves that you should have previously made and obtaining them now. If you didn't make saves at the points needed for those trophies you will have to start an entirely new playthrough.

For every other trophy that doesn't fall into the category of story, collectible, or missable, refer to trophy guide below on how to acquire the trophy as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Tips and Tricks:

The following tips aren't required to do in a playthrough by any stretch. However several of the trophies, as well as the game as a whole, are made easier due to these tips and therefore are referenced in several of the trophy descriptions.

Tip 1 - Iron Canopy Spiders - Two trophies (Devastator and Battle Hardened for weapon EXP farming) are easily unlocked by utilizing the spiders found in the Iron Canopy (Silitha's level) so it is crucial that you know how to make your way to the proper location, and how to respawn the room.

 1. First use the Serpent Hole to Ashlands.
 2. Travel back to Silitha's Lair.
 3. Backtrack back to the large cobweb door that was sealed with the 5 spider symbols.
 4. Look away from the cobweb door and go into the small tunnel just to the left. You should see some demonic growth inside it.
 5. Jump down and inside that first room you should run into 17 mini spiders.
 6. Do whatever it is you're there to do (Devastator, or weapon leveling for Battle Hardened).
 7. Go back up to the wooden planks near the cobweb door and the spiders, as well as the environmental items, will respawn.
 8. Repeat aforementioned steps.

Here is a video of the room in action:

Credit to Grizzalbo for finding the room, and Deejaystoic for the video.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol9FcuMyWZE]YouTube - Darksiders [iC Weapon Skill Farming][/ame]

Tip 2 - Fury's Embrace Legendary Enhancement - Once you reach The Black Throne you will be able to get this enhancement. It reveals all collectibles on the maps, as well as fully fleshing out the maps.

To the far right of Azrael is a path that leads up to the top of the tower. You'll reach one of the materializing bridges/paths. To the left and up is a chest, and next to it is void panel. Use the Voidwalker on the panel. At the very start of the room is another void panel. Use this panel to get to the chest.

A video demonstrating the above explanation can be seen here:

Tip 3 - Boss Guide/Walkthrough - If you are curious how to beat a specific boss or would like a sneak peak of things to come, visit the boss guide here. Be warned, it does contain an abundance of spoilers.
After being brought back to life by "The Council", you are ordered to make your way to meet Vulgrim; a demon that will assist you in your journey. You will make your way through a tutorial area of sorts called the "Seraphim Hotel", until you meet up with Vulgrim in "The Crossroads". That will unlock this trophy.

Defeat more angels than Ulthane

Missible

You will meet and battle Ulthane. Shortly after, some angels will arrive prompting both Ulthane and yourself to do battle with them. When this happens a counter will appear at the top of the screen with both of your faces. This keeps track of how many angels each of you have killed, and will stay there while you run through a gauntlet of angels with him.

The easiest way to get this trophy is to kill any angel very close to you first, as quickly as possible, then kill the ones Ulthane is fighting. The angels on Ulthane will be weakened, so it will be easier to steal the kills. This is especially true later on in the encounter when you pick up a huge cannon.

Part of the regular story progression. No special work necessary. Impossible to miss. Below is a detailed spoiler of the event that unlocks this trophy.
During your last dungeon "The Black Throne", you will battle your way to discover this weapon. It allows you to open up portals between two "Void Panels", allowing you to move freely between the two now open voids.

Collect the Crossblade

Part of the regular story progression. No special work necessary. Impossible to miss. Below is a detailed spoiler of the event that unlocks this trophy.
This will be the second weapon/tool you will collect. You will come upon it in your first dungeon and mission from Samael within the "Twilight Cathedral". It is a boomerang blade of sorts that can be charged up, enabling it to target up to five objects/enemies.

Collect the Mask of Shadows

Part of the regular story progression. No special work necessary. Impossible to miss. Below is a detailed spoiler of the event that unlocks this trophy.
The final "tool" in the game that you will collect. In the Eden mission Azrael will bestow this mask upon you, which gives you the ability to peer into the "shadow realm" when used.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/653.jpg Devastator (B)

Kill 10 enemies with one Blade Geyser wrath attack

This is the first wrath ability you will have at your disposal. It is given to you fairly early in the game. The easiest way to get this trophy is by using the ability during the Iron Canopy Spiders (See "Tip 1" in the road map on how to get there).

Simply gather the spiders together, use the ability in the middle of their pack, and unlock the trophy. If for some reason they don't instantly die then weaken them slightly before using the ability.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/fa2.jpg Tremor Bringer (B)

Collect the Tremor Gauntlet

Part of the regular story progression. No special work necessary. Impossible to miss. Below is a detailed spoiler of the event that unlocks this trophy.
This is a fist weapon which will be discovered in the Griever's dungeon "The Hollows". It is chargeable much like the Crossblade, and is capable of shattering ice pillars in the puzzles throughout the game.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/1ab.jpg An Old Friend (B)

Collect Mercy

Part of the regular story progression. No special work necessary. Impossible to miss. Below is a detailed spoiler of the event that unlocks this trophy.
Shortly after you defeat Griever you will see a cutscene with Ulthane. In it he gives you Mercy, a special spiritual based gun, as a gift. After the cutscene concludes the trophy will unlock.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/6da.jpg Reaper (B)

Collect the Scythe

When the game begins press start. Go to options and select the "Enter Code" option. Type in "The Hollow Lord", just as seen here with the capitals and spaces (your PS3 may naturally put a space after the "d" in "Lord", so be sure to remove that). The trophy will then unlock immediately.

The Harvester weapon should be unlocked at Vulgrim now for zero souls.

If by some chance you already purchased the Scythe for 1000 souls at Vulgrim, you may enter the code and your Scythe will automatically be transformed into the The Harvester.

It should be noted however that all experience accumulated will be reset to zero. So if you already have a scythe that is level three, or even four by some chance, it would be wise not to use this code as it would not be worth it. In that case you should already have the trophy, and The Harvester would be near useless by that point and time in the game.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/1f9.jpg Aerial Predator (B)

Kill 160 enemies while on the angelic beast

Missible

After the Broken Stair level you will begin the only flight segment of the game. You will be riding on a gryphon-like creature called the "Angelic Beast". The moment you begin riding it save the game!!. The section is called "Echo Gorge", so be sure not to save over that file until you get this trophy.

The best strategy for getting this trophy is to always have :r2: held down, while dragging your reticule around the screen. This will create charged attacks that can hit up to five targets. You will want to charge, target, and release as many shots as possible and on as many targets as possible. You do not need to hold down :r2: long, just long enough to target several things.

Several times you will encounter large heavily armored angels that hover and launch orbs at you. Use the charged attacks to promptly destroy the orbs before they launch at you, then hit :r2: rapidly to destroy the angels themselves.

When you fight angels with large shields don't charge attack, just focus on them one at a time while rapidly firing.

Beyond that it simply takes practice. You should reload your save and play the section repeatedly until you get the 160 kills needed and the trophy pops. It took me four tries, but typically it takes people 5-15 attempts.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/d76.jpg Wrath Machine (B)

Collect all the Wrath Powers

Purchase the available powers from Vulgrim, which will give you a total of four powers (Blade Geyser, Stoneskin, Immolation and Affliciton). The abilities do not need to be maxed out (rank 4) to unlock this trophy. You can also save the game, purchase all four powers, then reload your original save if you do not feel like wasting souls on the powers until later.

Obtain Ruin

Part of the regular story progression. No special work necessary. Impossible to miss. Below is a detailed spoiler of the event that unlocks this trophy.
During your mission to slay the boss Stygian in the "Ashlands", you will be thrust into a strange demon arena. In it you will face a demon horseman, that is riding none other than War's steed "Ruin". After you defeat the horseman you will be, as the name of the trophy suggests, reunited with Ruin. Allowing you to ride him throughout the rest of the game (in designated areas), as a member of the Four Horseman should.

Collect the Chaos Form Ability

Part of the regular story progression. No special work necessary. Impossible to miss. Below is a detailed spoiler of the event that unlocks this trophy.
After handing Tiamat's heart to Samael there will be a very interesting cutscene. In it War regains his ability to transform into "Chaos", the red demon form which you originally had at the start of the Apocalypse. After the cutscene you will unlock the trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/0d1.jpg High Flier (B)

Kill 5 duskbats without touching the ground

Missible

During the Choking Grounds section the Golem will ask you to break some seals in order to pass his gate. You will then enter several Shadow Arena's, one of which will be entitled "The Gory End", in which you are supposed to "Kill 30 enemies using only War's instant kill (:circle:) within the time limit". The challenge will immediately begin with a scene of four Duskbats flying down. After the challenge actually starts save the game so you can repeat the arena if you struggle with the trophy.

Jump up and hit :circle:,while holding your direction towards the next closest Duskbat. After killing the bat War will thrust himself from the previous Duskbat towards the next one.

When you are in the air hit :circle: rapidly until you grapple the next Duskbat. Occasionally you will need to Shadowglide (hold :cross:), to reach the next Duskbat.

Simply repeat the process until you see the trophy pop. If you don't unlock the trophy simply reload the game.

Here's a video of the trophy being done:

(credit to Kuddlesnot for the video)

[ame]

[/ame]

It is possible to obtain this trophy when exiting the Twilight Cathedral as well. Up until now I had purposely left out this information due to the fact that it's easiest to do in the aforementioned location, and depending on when you visit the Cathedral there might be fewer than five bats. However, if by some chance you see five bats there and have not obtained the trophy, you can do the same trick there as well.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/d41.jpg Improvised Kills (B)

Kill 150 enemies with items from the environment

This trophy can be a hassle due to the lack of environmental objects, and the toughness of some mobs.

The easiest way to do this trophy is in the Crossroads. There are a good deal of Zombies there that die instantly from some of the environmental objects. For the others in the area, you should weaken them down and then finish them off with environmental objects (as you should do on every creature in Apocalyptic). You can simply reload the area over and over again. You should get anywhere from 10 to 20 enviroment kills per visit.

- Killing targets with the growth/sticky bomb via the explosion does not count towards the trophy. Only targets that are killed by the impact of the bomb itself will be credited towards this trophy (Credit to Cauchy for finding this useful info)

- There is an alternate method (though really time consuming) to farm these kills utilizing a save file. It can be found here. (Credit to Mendel_Skimmel for the trick)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/098.jpg Open Air Parking (B)

Destroy a helicopter during the apocalypse with a vehicle

Missible

This is one of the four missable trophies, but luckily is achieved within the first few minutes of the game, and is therefore easy to get to via new game.

Once you can see the chained golem in a distance simply pick up a car and throw it at a helicopter. If the golem escaped his chains already, you have gone too far.

Here is a video of it being done, although differently than how I described:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/13b.jpg Full Power (S)

Collect the maximum amount of lifestones

The lifestones are the green stones near your health bar. In total you can unlock ten of them, five of which come from beating bosses, and five that come from collecting life shards.

Simply collect as many life shards as you can up until The Black Throne, without going too far out of your way in the beginning to find them. Once you're at the throne you can get the Fury's Embrace legendary enhancement (See "Tip 2" on how to acquire it), which will make it substantially easier.

- One of the life shards comes from turning in all artifacts to Vulgrim.

- One of them is also located in the Serpent Hole to the Twilight Cathedral.

- The rest are in the dungeons and throughout the world.

You should also print out the collectibles list and check off the pieces you've collected to cut back on the backtracking: Collectibles Locations

It will take some time but thanks to Fury's Embrace and the list, it's not that bad.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/3e3.jpg Wrath of War (S)

Collect the maximum amount of wrath cores

Same process as Full Power.

- One Wrath Core is purchasable from Vulgrim

- One Wrath Shard is purchasable from Vulgrim.

- Two shards are obtained from turning in artifacts to Vulgrim

- Two shards are located in Serpent Holes. They are to Anvil's Ford, and Dry Road.

- The rest are in dungeons and throughout the world.

See "Tip 2" on how to get the Fury's Embrace in order to assist you in completing this trophy.

Also refer to this list: Collectibles Locations

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/8d2.jpg Legendary Form (S)

Collect the Abyssal Armor Set

Collect all ten pieces of the Abyssum Armor set. It's the easiest collection trophy in the game by far. Check out this link for a superb collection of videos on how and where to collect each armor piece: LINK

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/188.jpg Battle Hardened (S)

Max out all weapons and unlock all combat moves

To get this trophy you must do the following:

- Armageddon Blade (the level on your Chaoseater does not matter)

- Scythe at LVL. 4

- Tremor Gauntlet at LVL. 4

- All weapon moves (purchasable from Vulgrim), up to their maximum ranks.

The Shredder and Mercy modifiers, enhancement items, and wrath abilities do not matter in unlocking this trophy.

The absolute fastest way to max out your weapon levels is via the Iron Canopy spiders (See "Tip 1" on how to get there, and effectively utilize them). Collect all of the spiders at once and use your area effect weapon moves (NOT WRATH SKILLS!) to quickly dispatch the enemies.

Leveling weapons is based on the amount of hits you do, and not the amount of damage done, or souls you collect while said weapon is equipped.

COMPLETE the game on NORMAL difficulty

Unlocked after beating Normal difficulty. Unlocking this trophy will also unlock You Call This Easy?, as well.

COMPLETE the game on APOCALYPTIC difficulty

Beat the game on Apocalyptic. Unlocking this trophy will also unlock Balance Restored, and You Call This Easy?, as well.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/d34.jpg You Call This Easy? (G)

COMPLETE the game on EASY difficulty

Beat the game on Easy Difficulty. This is also unlocked when the game is beaten on Normal of Apocalyptic.

SECRET TROPHIES

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/dfd.jpg Slayer (B)(H)

Kill 666 Demons

This will unlock over the natural course of a playthrough on any difficulty. Angels do not count towards this achievement, which is why you may go over the 666 kill total in your stats sheet. It is absolutely impossible to miss this if you finish the game, and should unlock about three to four hours in (at most).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/d2d.jpg River of Blood (B)(H)

Shed 3000 gallons of demon blood

This should unlock through a regular playthrough. If it does not unlock after prior to forging the Armageddon Blade, simply go kill more demons, and not spiders or angels, until it unlocks. Scalding Gallow and Drowning Pass are the best places for extra blood.

Under the "stats" you can see just how much demon blood you have shed over the course of your playthrough.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/8f4.jpg Dark Rider (B)(H)

Ride for 100 miles

Simply ride 100 total (cumulative) miles over the course of a single playthrough on your horse. The easiest way to do this is to rubberband your controller directly left or right, while somewhere wide open and safe. A great place to do this is in the Ashlands where you fought Stygian.

This will take some time (~2-3hours) to complete even rubberbanded, so just let it be for quite a while.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/4c2.jpg Horseman (B)(H)

Kill 150 demons from horseback

The Crossroads, Scalding Gallow, Choking Grounds, and Drowning Pass are three best places to complete this trophy.

Depending on when you go back there, the monsters there may change a bit. I personally prefer The Crossroads because of the size of the area, and ease of the demons.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/3cd.jpg Treasure Hunter (S)(H)

Search 150 caskets

Just open every chest you come across. Health and Wrath chests count towards this total as well, so don't ignore them. You should get this a little over half way through a playthrough.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/4cb.jpg Ultimate Blade (S)(H)

Forge the Armageddon Blade

This trophy is very straightforward, however one of the pieces of the blade itself is a bit tricky. The blade that you will find in the Choking Grounds is accessed through the bottom of the house. That entrance is to the left in a little tunnel, right on the path towards where the Golem used to be.

You have to make your way through the tunnel, into the basement of the house, up to the top. The trick here is that on one of the floors you will be required to use the Abyssal Chain on some Demonic Growth. It isn't obvious, and therefore stumps a ton of people (myself included).

It also should be noted that it is impossible to obtain Battle Hardened until you get this trophy. As long as you finish the game you will not miss this trophy. It is one of the very last things you will complete in the game.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/4858/492.jpg World Raider (S)(H)

Collect all 27 Artifacts

Takes some time but with the use of the Fury Legendary Enhancement it's no problem. (See "Tip 2" at the top of this thread if you do not have the Fury's Embrace enhancement).

The only one that is slightly tricky is the Overlord Artifact (very center artifact in the sheet). It is located in the Ashlands underneath the fourth drill (far left side). You need to use the Abyssal Chain to grapple up on top of the drill, and pull it out of the hole. Then drop down into the hole for the Overlord Artifact. Here is a video of it:

The Champion Artifacts (six artifacts surrounding the overlord artifact in the sheet) can also be tricky, so here is a video for them as well:

Unlocked EVERYTHING!

Get all of the aforementioned trophies and this is your reward ;).

Great guide, I know you've been helping a lot with this game. Be sure to submit your guide to be stickied.

I'll definitely be adding any useful comments once I'm done.

Edit: You might want to add the trophy pictures, and also give some hints on how to beat some of the bosses in spoiler tags. There's another thread that's pretty detailed on how to beat them, so you can just provide a link.

Thanks, thanks!

How do I go about submitting it for a sticky? Didn't even know there was a process for that haha. Believe it or not I've only been registered here for like a week.

Oh and I even said that I need the pictures for each trophy. I just don't know how/where to get them.

Here is the trophy guide process thread. The part about submitting a guide is in step 6. http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/faq/27004-trophy-guides-complete-walkthrough-new-rules-included.html

Like I said in another thread I submitted all the images this morning they should be up on the site soon.

Ha I did this the hard way I guess. Copy and paste would've been substantially easier, that's for sure. I would have included the pictures but they weren't in the list.

I wonder if I need to change the pictures to the ones uploaded by the staff?

According to that FAQ I need to alter this a pretty good amount before I can even submit it. Guess I'll get on that.

The only thing that is confusing to me is that it says they take spoilers seriously, but they want a description for every single trophy. How am I supposed to describe a bunch of these without spoiling it? Seems like no matter what I say for some of them it will be spoiling it for people. Especially the "obtain X item" trophies.

I mean even the example for the "ideal" description seemed like one huge spoiler. Telling someone every single thing in the story that goes on sure seems like a spoiler to me. My Ulthane description omitted a lot of the story information in order to not make it feel like it spoiled a lot.

If it's 100% IMPOSSIBLE to miss a trophy if you beat the game, what else is there to explain?

Thank you VERY MUCH for the guide ... printing it out NOW.

Guys, I'm stuck on one part... and its a dumb one. I'm in the belly of the Twilight Cathedral and the game is asking me to "imbue" the Crossblade with a torch's fire. It says to aim at the torch and then the inert bombs stuck to a column. How exactly do you do that? When I press R3 to aim, then hold R2 to point the cursor at the torch then the bombs, the Crossblade charges and just hits the bombs; doing nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to be sure that the first torch you're targeting is the LIT torch. Hold R2, drag the reticule over the first lit torch you see, and then the following unlit torches. You may need to light a few of them down the hallway, then do it again until you can successfully reach the bomb.

Just think of the torches as monsters that you'd be targeting, with the bomb as the LAST target, and the lit torches as your FIRST target.

Be sure to light every single torch in that room in order to make a hidden chest appear.

Thanks for such a quick reply, F8L Fool.

I'm actually not quite there yet. I'm at the very first time the game asks you to imbue the Crossblade: there are two lit torches on opposite pillars and a column with inert bombs in the distance. You have to hit one of the torches before hitting the bombs.

I guess what I'm asking is what button combo do you have to do to pull off this manuever (PS3, if possible).

Aw sorry, that specific instance jumped out at me for some reason.

Equip Crossblade -> Press R3 -> Hold R2 -> Target first lit torch -> Target inert bomb -> Release R2. Both targets should be highlighted before you release R2 otherwise it won't work. Make sure you're in range of both targets of course.

Okay, that didn't work. I'm standing on the VERY TIP of the platform - any farther forward when I throw the Crossblade and I'll fall in the lava - so I know I'm in range.

When I press R3, then hold R2, then target the first lit torch, the reticle lights up. Now I move the cursor over to the bomb (still holding R2) and the reticle moves away from the torch and onto the inert bomb instead ... releasing R2 just throws the charged-up Crossblade at the bombs, doing nothing. Both targets WON'T highlight.

What am I doing wrong? :(

If it helps to have a visual, I'm at the 1:10 mark in this video... of course, this guy pulls it off no problem. Oy.

its L2

hold L2 over torch then L2 over stickey gernade

u should see a yellow triangle over both then hit R2

Wow I can't believe I forgot the L2 part. I assumed he was doing that, but not actually charging it up, and/or was targeting the bomb first lol.

Thanks Lloyd for clarifying that. I'm totally in Bayonetta mode right now I think lol.
