Cauchy
If you have found this or any other threads that I maintain useful and are compelled to join this forum as a consequence, please give me a referal upon signing up. Overview Estimate difficulty: 2/10. Estimated time to platinum: 4-6 hours. Minimum number of play-throughs needed: 1. Trophy breakdown: 26 (6 , 14 , 5 , 1 ). Offline: All. Online: None. [*]Missable trophies: None. [*]Glitched trophies: None. [*]Does difficulty affect trophies? No. [*]Do cheats disable trophies? Not applicable. [*]Special hardware required for platinum? Reassigning your controller works for this game. Road Map Introduction: Cloudy is unambiguously a children’s game. The controls are overly simple and the difficulty is nonexistent. In fact, the only thing hard about this game is not falling asleep while you play. That said, it controls well enough and if you’re looking for an easy platinum, then you’re in heaven. Step 1: Advance through the story. While playing through the missions, search out and destroy every Hydronic Foodpod in the game. You will be able to collect all of these except a few in the “ice cream” levels. These few require that you have a fully upgraded heat-gun. Come back for those once you have the upgrade. Make sure to collect the little orbs that the Foodpods leave behind, because those let you buy upgrades and upgrades are tied to a trophy. There are various “grind” trophies that have you perform an action a certain number of times. You should farm these at the appropriate spots as soon as the opportunity arrises. The best places I’ve found to farm are listed with in the specific trophy guides. All of these types of trophies are listed under the “miscellaneous" heading. Step 2: Mop-up. Anything you happened to miss can be obtained through mission select. Each level you beat becomes available for mission select immediately after you beat it. Use mission select to mop-up your remaining trophies. Closing note: It's worth mentioning that the trophy descriptions provided by the game must be very poor translations. Otherwise, the devs of this game failed English. If you follow this guide, everything should be clear, but you should still read some of these descriptions for a good laugh Edited September 11, 2017 by Terminator Replaced a missing banner. This trophy will unlock after your first completed mission. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/02.jpg Max Food'onaut Complete 1st Act. This is story related and cannot be missed, as long as you complete the game. This trophy will unlock after you complete all the missions in the first act. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/07.jpg Castle Master 1st time play in the jelly mold. This is story related and cannot be missed, as long as you complete the game. I believe your first jelly mold level is in Act 2. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/08.jpg Buck this BBQ Going to the FLDSMDFR. This is story related and cannot be missed, as long as you complete the game. This will pop towards the end of the game. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/19.jpg Tour de Fork! Finish the game walkthrough. This is story related and cannot be missed, as long as you complete the game. You have to beat the game to get this trophy. The "real" ending is not necessary. Collectible Trophies http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/09.jpg Hungryman 1st time get the Blueprint Piece. You get a Blueprint Piece for every level in which you collect all the Hydronic Foodpods. There are 20 Blueprint Pieces to collect. They are spread over the first 20 levels each of which has 30 Foodpods. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/21.jpg Ultra Food'onaut Finish Game with Final Ending. In order to complete the game with the final ending, you must have unlocked the “ultimate weapon” in the game. This requires that you collected all the Blueprint Pieces, which in turn requires that you collect all the Hydronic Foodpods. If you’ve been collecting all the Hydronic Foodpods as you go along, you’ll just need to complete the game. See the "Dishin' Out!" trophy for a link to a foodpod collectible guide. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/24.jpg HYDRONIC FOODPOD 1st time get the Hydronic Foodpods. See the “Dishin’ Out!” trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/25.jpg Chow Hound 100 Hydronic Foodpods destroyed. See the “Dishin’ Out!” trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/22.jpg Dishin' Out! Destroy all the Hydronic Foodpods in the game. The first 20 levels have Hydronic Foodpods. Each of these levels has 30 Foodpods. The vast majority are in plain view. Those that are not are still pretty easy to spot. The only tricky ones are those that require you to move a little into the foreground. So, just be sure to thoroughly check each area before you advance. Some of the “ice cream” levels have Foodpods that you won’t be able to destroy until you have fully upgraded heat-gun. This is because they are located in elevated spots so you have to be able to melt them very quickly while you're jumping. You should just come back to those after you’ve fully upgraded that gun. The Foodpods in all of the remaining (non-ice cream) levels can be destroyed the first time through. Here is a link to the a nice foodpod guide located at our sister site created by This is David: Foodpod Guide. Thanks to Hacksaw_13 for providing the link. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/06.jpg Foodnik 1st time get an upgrade. See “Ultra Foodnik” trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/20.jpg Ultra Foodnik Get all upgrades. To buy upgrades, you have to collect mini-blueprint score pods. These are dropped in small quantities after defeating enemies. However, every Foodpod you destroy drops tons of these points. Also, you get 3000 points for clearing a mission for the first time. If you make sure to collect all of the points as you destroy Foodpods, you will have more than enough points to fully upgrade yourself. Cauchy
Miscellaneous Trophies http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/05.jpg Party of Two Play coop mission. Lucky for you, two controllers are NOT need for this trophy. All you need to do is reassign your controller to controller two and then enter the game as the second player. To drop out, just pause the game and select that option. To reassign your controller, simply press and hold the PS button until the black-screen menu pops up, then choose “Controller Settings” and then the reassign option. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/10.jpg Pasta Power 30 times using the spaghetti rope. The first time you use the spaghetti rope is in “Italian Street Fair” mission in Act 1. Just knock this trophy out by using the first rope you encounter in this level 30 times. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/11.jpg Bread Head 30 times using the bread to climb. The first time you come across climbable bread is in the “Restaurant Row” mission in Act 1. The climbable bread is right at the start of this mission. You only need to climb up the bread a tiny bit and come back down for it register as a climb. So, just climb up and down like this really quickly 30 times and the trophy should unlock in about a minute or two. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/12.jpg Slurpdaddy Pumped 50 drops. The first time you get to use the pump is also in the “Restaurant Row” mission in Act 1. Like the previous trophy, you farm this trophy right at the start of the mission. When you go fill up your pump, hold just long enough to get a nice "slurp". This way your pump will fill in burst instead of continuously. However, each tap counts as pump. If your pump gets full, just empty it out and repeat the above process. The trophy will unlock in no time at all. EDIT: Several members have said that the above method did not work for them. They suggest that you need to fill your pump entirely for it to count as a "pump". I definitely recall not filling up my pump completely, but perhaps my slurps weren't as short as I had previously suggested. At any rate, if you want to guarantee that you get this trophy, just fill up your all the way, empty it, and then repeat 50 times. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/13.jpg Yummer Get 20 life points. This will almost definitely come naturally in the course of the game. However, if you get desperate, there’s a spot early on in “The Cannery” mission where you will come across three life points right next to each other. Just damage yourself, collect the orb and repeat for the other two. Then kill yourself and repeat the whole process. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/14.jpg Grub Drubber Clear 5 levels with full HP at the end. This is much easier than it sounds. You just need to have full life at the end of the level, but you CAN take damage during the level. You just have recoup it before the mission ends. If you haven’t gotten this trophy after you’ve beaten the game, just go back to the “Ice Cream Tundra” level in Act 1 and complete it as many times as needed without taking any damage, which is easy to do. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/15.jpg Chick Nixxer Make 10 roasted chickens fall on ground. You won’t encounter chickens until late in the game. The first encounter comes in the level “Good ‘N Cream Elementary” in Act 3. The roast will follow you to attack you, so just lure it into some honey, then punch it with your glove to knock it down. If you continue to punch, you will knock it out of the honey and it will get up and attempt to pursue you again. At this point, just lure it again and repeat the above process. Do this 10 time and the trophy is yours. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/16.jpg Bear Buster Kill 25 gummies by heating. This will come naturally, if you just use your heat-gun on the gummies every time the opportunity presents itself. Otherwise, “Swallow Falls Dock” in Act 5 is a decent level to farm this trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/17.jpg Sugar Slayer Kill 25 Marshmallows by cutting. The best place I’ve found to farm this is the “Mount Foody” level in Act 4. You will come across a marshmallow on a platform pretty early in the level. After this is a spaghetti rope. If you take the spaghetti rope up to the next platform, you will reach a check point. Jump down into the lava and kill yourself. You will respawn just above the marshmallow. Jump down to the platform below, cut up the marshmallow then kill yourself. Repeat until the trophy unlocks. It should take about two or three minutes. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/18.jpg Mr. Twister Kill 10 spaghetti tornado by using pick. By “pick” the translators mean “fork”. To kill a spaghetti tornado, equip your fork and poke the tornado with it by pressing and holding R2. Now, move away while holding R2 to “unravel” the spaghetti tornado. You shouldn’t have to farm this as long as you are killing all the tornados you are coming across. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/23.jpg Unmunchable Kill 500 foods (NPC+DOOR+HYDRONIC FOODPOD) in the game. Just be sure to kill every thing you can as you play the game and this will unlock naturally. If you still need to grind this out after you’ve finished the game, the last level “The Core” has plenty of enemies to kill. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/221/01.jpg Platinum Trophy Unlock all the trophies. StarlightSammy
I don't think I'll be using this trophy guide since the game's very easy to plat (can't wait to play it!) but just in case other people need help on one or two trophies, this is the place. =

Sameh
I have a question about the blueprint pieces. Are they easy to collect, because I suck at getting collectibles so I always use a guide with stuff like that. I haven't got the game yet so I don't know about how the levels are set out but I will rent it soon.
Cauchy
I have a question about the blueprint pieces. Are they easy to collect, because I suck at getting collectibles so I always use a guide with stuff like that. I haven't got the game yet so I don't know about how the levels are set out but I will rent it soon. Short answer: You shouldn't have any problems. Long answer: Like the guide says, you get blueprint pieces after collecting all the hydronic foodpods for a given level. 99% of these foodpods are extremely easy to see. Only 1 or 2 in the entire game will take a little hunting and that usually requires that you move your character a little in the foreground. Also, there is a level counter that tells you how many foodpods you've collected out of the total. So, you'll always know which levels you have to go back to. TheAlchemyst
So, would it be possible to finish the game without triggering the 'Final Ending" or whatever? OR can you go back and re-win it once you collect all of them?
Cauchy
So, would it be possible to finish the game without triggering the 'Final Ending" or whatever? OR can you go back and re-win it once you collect all of them? I can't answer from personal experience but I'm willing to wager that you can go back and just beat the level again with the ultimate weapon. I know you can mop everything else up via level select, so I can't see the devs not allowing you to do so with this trophy.
Lewis94
So, would it be possible to finish the game without triggering the 'Final Ending" or whatever? OR can you go back and re-win it once you collect all of them? If you dont collect all Hydronic foodpods before the ending then it does NOT matter. After you complete the game, go back and replay lvls to get all the Hydronics you missed. Once you have collected all of them you will unlock the ultimate weapon. Then go to the final mission again and play and beat it. This time you will be able to kill the FLDSMR because you now have your ultimate weapon. After that theres a running sequence and once your back at the rocket the trophy will pop. Hope I helped.
