AstroFlibble
Road Map Overview Estimated 100% Difficulty: 1/10 Estimated Time for 100%: 1 hour Offline Trophies: 4 (1 , 3 ) Online Trophies: 1 Minimum Number of Playthroughs: N/A Number of Missable Trophies: None Glitched Trophies: None Does Difficulty Affect Trophies?: Yes - see China Expert Do Cheat Codes Disable Trophies?: There are no known cheat codes Online Pass Required?: No Introduction This DLC pack for F1 Race Stars offers 5 very easy trophies that can be obtained in a very short amount of time. The Chinese track follows the premise of the tracks in the main game, with a recognisable start and finish, and some creativity in-between. The shortcut on this track feels very cheap though, which makes racing against the AI and winning a race for Road Trip: China feel more frustrating than it should be. Walkthrough 1 - Offline To start off with create a custom slalom event with the maximum amount of points to win (50000) and the speed class to 1000cc for Gate Hunter. This can easily be combined with Dragon Dance as the track is pretty short and you'll have plenty of opportunities to get the hidden key for the secret shortcut. If you are feeling brave, then it is possible to get 3 trophies in one event. By creating the slalom event mentioned above on 3000cc, you can also obtain China Expert in the same race. If not, then simply create a custom 2 lap sector snatch event for this trophy. By now you should be familiar with the new track and can attempt Chinese Gold in Time Trial mode. 2 - Online For this final step you will need to find a boosting partner and create a private custom race online for Road Trip: China. Trophy Guide http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1637/56.jpg Chinese Gold Earn a Gold Time Trial record on China Out of all the Time Trials throughout the main game and DLC packs this is the easiest. I managed a time 3 seconds faster than the gold time on my first attempt. Just make sure you take the 2 shortcuts (the paths on the right hand side of the track at the first corner and also the second to last corner) and make use of a majority of the boosts to ensure you get a gold time. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1637/57.jpg Road Trip: China Win an online race on China There is almost no one playing this DLC track online, so it is much quicker and easier to boost this trophy straight away. Create a private custom race with damage off, power-ups to simple and the speed class on 1000cc; and invite your boosting partner to join. Like all other online races, you will have to beat the AI as well as your boosting partner, so this may take several attempts. The AI can be difficult to beat on this track because the locked shortcut takes a significant chunk of time off for what is a very short track. Trophy Chase and Sector Snatch are the two events I found to be the easiest for unlocking this trophy. To find a boosting partner please go here ---> Trophy Boosting Thread http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1637/58.jpg Gate Hunter Pass through 100 gates on China To pass through gates you will need to create a Slalom event on the Chinese track. You'll get 100 points for passing through one normal gate, going up by 100 points (up to a maximum of 500 points) with each successive gate of the same colour; and 500 points for passing through a gate with a star on it. Setting the points to win at 50000 should mean you'll easily pass through more than 100 gates in one event, even if the AI are winning. If you don't manage to reach the required total for any reason, simply start another event with the same settings, as your score for the trophy will carry through over multiple events. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1637/59.jpg China Expert Win a China event at 3,000cc (no teams) Create a 2 lap Sector Snatch event on China with damage disabled, power-ups to simple and the 3000cc speed class selected. Using Red Bull or HRT (for their speed boosts) you can easily dominate enough sectors to win the event on 3000cc, although it may take a few attempts as the AI seem to be a bit tougher on this track. If you have dominated the most sectors, but are also level with an opponent at the end of the race, the game will still award you the trophy. Ensure that teams are turned off before starting, otherwise you will not get the trophy. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1637/60.jpg Dragon Dance Take the locked shortcut on China To take the locked shortcut you will first need to find the hidden key. On this track it is very close to the start. Once you have gone through the first KERS corner there is a path off to the left, as you climb up the hill. The key is located on this path. The shortcut that the key unlocks is at the bottom of the next hill (right-handed, going downhill) on the left side of the track. The trophy will unlock once you have entered the shortcut.
