Buzz! Junior: Monsters Trophy Guide and Roadmap

I'm a big kid and I have a lot of fun with games like this, so I got it. There wasn't a trophy guide for it so I figured I'd do it. This game is really easy, but if you do have a problem just look here.

Overview:

-Estimated trophy difficulty: 1-2

-Offline: 11

-Online: 0

-Approximate amount of time to collect all trophies: 1-2 hours

-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1

-Number of missable trophies: None

-Glitched trophies: None that I know of

-Do cheat codes disable trophies: None available that I know of

-Does difficulty affect trophies: All but 'An Amazing Monster' can be got on any difficulty.

Note - Although this is a mutiplayer game, trophies will only unlock if there is only one controller connected. You have to play against 3 AI monsters to get trophies.

For this game, you'll need to do one play-through to pick up most of the trophies, then head to the practice menu to clean up any you missed. This is a very easy title and shouldn't take more than an hour or two.

At the main menu, chose a standard game, and set the AI to hard. You will now play though 5 mini games.

~ All Wrapped up - win this mini-game by getting the most points, and try and completely unwrap the mummy. This will net you a bronze and a silver.

~ Musical chairs - Make sure you win every round (be the first on a chair) and you'll net another bronze and silver

~ Ghoulish Golf - Get all hole-in-ones and don't miss any shots for another two trophies, one bronze, one silver

~ Treasure hunt - Make sure you jump on every other monster and don't get jumped on yourself for another bronze and silver

~ Boo! - Hit every zombie (with the right colour) including all the zombie donkeys to get a bronze

Once you've done that, you should also get a gold for winning a standard game on hard. You should now have only one trophy left to get (crackshot), head to the practice mode and choose Boo!, this time, hit everything but the donkeys.

If you missed any of the trophies in your first run though grab them using the practice mode.

Mummy Madness (B)

Win a game of All Wrapped Up.

For this one, all you need to do is score more points than the other monsters. Simply press the button colour that matches the colour of the mummy's bandages. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu, and the difficulty does not affect it, so you can get this playing on easy.

Monster Pirate (B)

Knock every other computer controlled monster into the water in Treasure Hunt.

You don't need to win to get this one so just concentrate on aiming for the other monsters. To knock them into the water simply land on top of them. You must be playing against 3 AI monsters so you can't use friends to help you. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu, and the difficulty does not affect it, so you can get this playing on easy.

Wonky Donkey (B)

Hit every Zombie Donkey and still win a game of Boo!

As long as you hit every normal zombie as well as the donkeys, you'll still have enough points to win. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu, and the difficulty does not affect it, so you can get this playing on easy.

Play it Safe (B)

Don't lose any points in a game of Ghoulish Golf.

You lose points by aiming to the left or the right. To get this one make sure you aim while the bar is in the green section of the aim meter. It might take a couple of games to practice to get it perfect. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu, and the difficulty does not affect it, so you can get this playing on easy.

Last Monster Sitting (B)

Win a round of Musical Chairs when only one chair remains.

Play though musical chairs until there is only one chair left, then hover over the button colour that matches the chair, and when the music stops, spam the button as fast as you can and you should be the first to sit down. There are 3 times when there will be one chair left in this game so don't bother restarting if you miss it. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu, and the difficulty does not affect it, so you can get this playing on easy.

Naked Mummy (S)

Completely unwrap a mummy within the time limit in All Wrapped Up.

For this one you just need to keep unwrapping as fast as you can. I got this one on my first try with around 1/4 of the time left, and I messed up the colours a few times, so you should have more than enough time to do it. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu.

Dry as a Whistle (S)

Win a game of Treasure Hunt without getting wet.

This one is quite luck based. You have to win so you can't just hide in the corner for the match, you do need to collect some treasure. Collect the shields when ever you can and try your best to avoid the other monsters. if you see one jumping towards you, jump as fast as you can and you might be able to get out of the way in time. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu, and the difficulty does not affect it, so you can get this playing on easy.

Crackshot (S)

Hit every Zombie in Boo! including the Zombie Master. But make sure you don't hit the Donkeys!

You need to hit every zombie, as well as hit it with the right colour, if you get the colour wrong it wont count. When a zombie donkey pops up, don't press anything and you'll get this trophy. You don't need to win so the difficulty wont make a difference as it only chances the speed the other monsters throw. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu.

Gifted Golfer (S)

Get 20 hole-in-ones during a game of Ghoulish Golf.

To get a hole-in-one, the power bar must be full, and the aim bar needs to be in green. I got this one without trying, you should have more than enough time if you don't pause between shots. As soon as you finish a shot, start the next. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu.

Musical Monster (S)

Win every round in a game of Musical chairs.

This one took me a couple of tries. When a round starts, find you monster, and hover over the button colour of the chair your next to. Every time you move to a new chair, over over the colour of that chair. When the music stops, spam the button a few times as fast as you can and you should be the first one to make it. Hovering over the colours means you don't have to stop to check you have the right one so you should be able to get it faster than the others. You can get this trophy from playing in the practice menu, and the difficulty does not affect it, so you can get this playing on easy.

An Amazing Monster (G)

Win a standard single player game with the Monsters set to hard.

Chose standard game from the main menu, and set the AI monsters to hard. To get the trophy simply win most of the rounds (by getting more points than the other monsters). As long as you have the most overall points at the end you'll get this trophy. If you have any problems with a certain round, you can practice it in the practice area (accessed from the main menu) until you are better at it. This is actually a really easy gold.

Never mind, I got it after about 7 attempts.

The trick is, and let this be a good hint, pick up as many shields as possible, knock off many monsters when you get the shields so they have to start, when they're starting again, collect the treasure chests.

This is easier said than done but it helps. At the end when you think you have a nice, big lead, stay in the corners and if the monsters come, run away or if your confident, knock them into the water.

By far the hardest trophy.

I haven't touched this game in ages after getting pissed off with the graveyard level, and at the time I didn't know you could use practice mode to get the trophies - so a big massive thank-you for that! Well worth the guide/roadmap, despite what others think (Frogger Returns is perhaps the only game that doesn't need a guide at all).
