Introduction:

Brink is a first-person shooter with a focus on parkour-style movement.

Online multiplayer servers hold up to 16 players; players can play cooperatively or competitively, or against artificially-intelligent bots.As time passes while in a mission and completing objectives the AI Bots will become smarter and help with getting objectives done.

Brink uses a SMART System called: Smooth Movement Across Random Terrain; allowing the player to run on walls, up containers and reach high and lower floors quicker. There are four character classes: the Soldier, the Medic, the Engineer, and the Operative, breaching out with five different Ranks containing 20 levels to gain; 4 levels for each rank with level 20 being the highest.

Brink brings tons of customizations for both your character and your weapons, there are abilities that can help you achieve other things and perform better while completing objectives in the game. The game is objective based with a little bit of a team deathmatch to help the game survive. The player will use an Objective Wheel that shows the main objective in yellow and will show a checkpoint which the player will need to go to to achieve that primary goal. There are also secondary goals. Each player has one in his inventory and will, on certain missions, be timed to achieve the goal that must be completed.

Note: I used the Preset Default Controller layout to complete this game and guide.

Walkthrough:

Step 1:Challenges I strongly advise going forward with this step. As you level up the both the enemy A.Is and your team A.Is level up. Doing the challenges now, they will be just getting use to the game and you won't have much problems getting though each Challenge, as they are not as smart as they would be if you were at a higher level or rank. There are 4 challenges and each challenge has 3 difficulty starts that you will need to get past in order to get all 4 trophies that are required for platinum. There are videos under the King of the world! trophy that can help you with any problems you may come across.

  • Well done!(S)
  • Very well done indeed!(S)
  • Who's bad? (S)
  • King of the world! (G)

Step 2:Campaign

The campaign consists of 12 missions and 4 What-if mission together for both factions. In the Campaign you will need to complete varies amount of objectives in a given mission. After completing the campaign you will be at least level 10 or 11, rank 2. The follow trophies are the ones that you should have but are not limited to. I would advise going for this trophy in the online versus mode, that way you can save yourself a full playthrough and get 2-3 audio logs per level rather than the one that you would get if you would play on easy or on Medium. Hard mode is difficult due to the AI not being too smart early on in the match and gets smart and plays better too late in the match, making the game harder to complete. Please see Tough as nails for more info on how to complete the game in online versus mode opposed to playing the game on hard.

Win any mission, whether campaign or What-If

Once you have created a character you get to pick a faction to start the game off with. Once you get to the main menu, choose Campaign and then pick any mission you want, since you don't have to play the game in any order, you can start from the What-If mission and work your way up to the beginning. The easiest mission is the Day 1 mission: Hostage Rescue for the Security and the Day 1 mission: Getting Answers for the resistance.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/03.jpgYou've saved the Ark(B)

Win all main missions of the Security Campaign (no including What-If missions)

There are a total of 6 missions for the Security Campaign and depending on how you complete each objective it can take about 2-3 hours to complete them all. Each mission has a total of 2-4 objectives for you to complete, if you happen to fail at the first or get past the first, depending if its an Offense objective or a defensive Objective. The 6 main missions are marked by days leading from day 1 to day 8.

  • Day 1: Hostage Rescue
  • Day 3: Smash and Grab
  • Day 4: Dirty Bomb
  • Day 5: Prison Break
  • Day 6:Early Launch
  • Day 8: Fallout

Win all main missions of the Resistance Campaign (not including What-If missions)

  • Day 8: Airborne

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/09.jpgUse the wheel, earn more XP (B)

Complete an objective after first selecting it on the Objective Wheel

Once you have started the mission, you will hear one of the teammates say you will need a Engineer or Soldier to complete a main objective in that specific mission. Press the D-Pad button up () and highlight with the Right analog controller (:rs:) the Main or secondary objective you want to complete with the class you are using.

  • Yellow is Main Objective
  • Blue is Secondary

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/12.jpgOh I'm sorry, was that yours? (B)

Capture an enemy's Command Post

These are the Blue Secondary objectives, that come up in you weapon wheel, once you have chosen the blue objective a marker will pop up on your mini map to show you where you need to go to complete that task. You can be any class to achieve this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/14.jpgNot over till the fat lady sings! (B)

Take down an enemy with gunfire while knocked down

There are two ways to obtain this trophy, but most likely you will get it before getting the ability to get it the second way. You will know when you are down, because you will have a little image in the middle of your screen with a down person laying on his side.

  1. Most of the time enemies will sprint towards you and slide to hit you knocking you on the ground, you are still alive and can still shoot your primary weapon, all you have to do is shoot at the enemy and kill him before getting back up or before the enemy comes and finishes you off.
  2. The second way is, when you reach rank 5 you can use one of your level Credits to purchase the Downed Fire ability, that ability is under the first section of the abilities menu, marked under Universal. You can access that menu from the main menu or once you have completed a mission or failed, it will pop up in the end if you unlock a new ability from leveling up.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/15.jpgNot so sneaky now, are you? (B)

Reveal an enemy in disguise

This can be one of the hardest trophies to achieve in this game. Only an operative can go in disguise and you will need to spot the enemy while he either is going under disguise or just completed the disguise formation. Your character will say "Enemy in disguise." That is when you can kill him and the trophy will soon follow. Having the Homing beacon ability will help get this trophy a little easier.

This can be boosted in a private match.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/16.jpgGreat shot kid! One in a million (B)

Take down an enemy by shooting a grenade

You will need to purchase an ability called Grenade Shooting. It's available once you start the game under the universal Abilities. You will need to press :r2: when you see an enemy in front of you and then press :r1: to shoot the grenade. The Grenade should knock down any enemy that comes close to you. You can also use the Frag Blast and Grenade Damage, that is under the Soldier abilities, if you are having trouble with this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/20.jpgYou can place another mine now (B)

Take down an enemy with a mine

You will need to be an engineer to obtain this trophy, plus you will need to purchase the Landmine ability to use landmines. Once you have purchased the Landmines, plant the Landmine in front of an objective that you are defending or in front of a door that the enemies are mostly likely to come out of.

You will not have a problem with your teammates messing anything up, since they will not be harmed if they walk over a land mine.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/21.jpgPump up the volume! (B)

Upgrade your team's Command Post

Another trophy that you will need to purchase an ability for. You will need to purchase the Upgrade Command Post Ability from the engineers section of that menu. You will also need to be Rank 3 before you are able to purchase it. Once you have obtained a command post, you will need to access the menu of that command post wheel by pressing :square:. After you have done so, another progress wheel will pop up in the middle indicating that it's upgrading the command post. The trophy will soon follow.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/23.jpgTis better to give than receive(B)

As a Medic, using the Transfer Supplies ability, give the last of your Supplies away

You will need to be Rank 2 in order to purchase the Transfer Supplies ability. On your HUD, on the left, you will see 2-3 bars above the HUD on the left, indicating how many supplies you have left to give. That bar refills over time, so make sure you are close to players that may need the supplies. You will know who needs supplies by the :square: button that shows up on the back of the player. Once all the supplies are gone and that bar turns red, the trophy should pop up.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/24.jpgI live... again!(B)

Revive yourself

There are two ways to obtain this trophy, the first way being the easiest and will save you one level credit.

  1. Once you are down and what I mean by down is, You cannot shoot your weapon at all. If there are Medics on the battlefield, they will throw you a revive syringe, that will glow wheel in the box that indicates that you have one. Make sure you are highlighting the first box and not the second. Once you get the Syringe, hold down :l3: to revive yourself. There will be two boxes when you are done, one that indicates a Medic is in the area and glows yellow when you have a syringe and The second one that serves as a count for when you can join the game again. Make sure you are highlighting the first box and not the second. Once you get the Syringe, hold down :l3: to revive yourself.
  2. The second way is to buy a Self Resurrection ability, but you can only get that after you have reached Rank 4 and can only be used by a Medic.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/27.jpgA bit of a headache(B)

Take down an enemy with a Cortex Bomb

This ability is for the Operatives that are in the game. You will need to be Rank 4 before you can purchase this ability. After being downed (Killed), There will be a gray box to your left on the bottom screen. Highlight it with the left D-Pad (:left:) and then hold down the left stick (:ls:) until you blow up. You will need any enemy to be close to your body once you blow up to take him/her down.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/30.jpgIt's a trap!(B)

Take down an enemy with a Satchel Charge

This is for the Soldier that you will be playing as in the game. You will need to reach Rank 5 in the game. Once you have purchased this ability, head into a game and press the right d-pad (:right:) to take out you Satchel Charges, you can plant up to 3 charges with the :square: button before blowing them up with the :r2: button.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/05.jpgThe story has just begun(S)

Win every Resistance campaign mission, including What-If missions

There are a total of 6 Main missions and 2 What-If missions that you will need to complete before this trophy will pop up. Each with 1-4 objectives for you to complete before the trophy will pop up.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/10.jpgI think I know a shortcut(S)

Open a shortcut for your team

As an Engineer, you will need to repair broken shortcuts and other things of that nature. You will first earn this trophy during day four if you play the Security campaign first. Once have gotten past your first 2 objectives there will be a Secondary mission for the engineer to repair a shortcut for the team. Just use the wheel to find it. You will be asked to do it by one of the team, if they don't do it first, but if you happen to get there and start on it before your teammate completes the task, you will still get the trophy.

Alternative Method: Resistance Playthrough.

You can achieve this trophy with an Operative as well. You can achieve this right at the beginning of the Resistance mission "Day 6: Black Box" your optional objective is to "Hack the Shop Door" which is to the right of your spawn, hack this and the trophy is all yours. Thanks CorpusDelecti for the tip. Thanks PowerPyx for making the video!

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTbB6yXxnP4]YouTube - Brink - I think I know a shortcut Trophy / Achievement Guide[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/11.jpgCut 'em off at the pass(S)

Close an enemy team's shortcut

I first earned this trophy while playing the Resistance story line. Day 7: Attack of the City. You will need to be an engineer, but first the opposing team will need to create a short cut of some kind. Once that has been done, you will need to build it back up to close enemies shortcut. Most of the time, it's the Secondary Guard mission that will need to be broken down by the opposing team before you are able to close or fix the problem.

Alternative Method:

This can be done on the Resistance's first What-If? Story mission, and it's very easy. During this mission you have to protect a crane, and there are 2 barricades setup on the side and front of it, just repair one barricade and the trophy is yours, You will need to be an engineer. Thanks CorpusDelecti. Thanks PowerPyx for making the video!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/13.jpgThat's how you win a match (S)

While on defense, take down an attacker who's completing a Primary Objective

There are missions where you will need to defend a certain location for a set amount of time before being able to progress, while the other team has to tear it down. The opposing team will either have to plant a Bomb or Hack a certain location. You will need to disrupt what the opposing team is doing at that time, whether it's one of the two and have him/her attack you before they complete the task (Before the bomb is planted or the Location is hacked) and kill him before he/she kills you.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/17.jpgYou shall not pass!(S)

While on defense, prevent the attackers from completing their first objective

You can get this in one of the few missions that are in this game, but the earliest ones are Day 5: Prison Break, while playing as the Security and Day 1: Defend the Door, while playing as the resistance. You will need to defend what it is you are defending from being hacked or from being blown up for X amount of time. As you gain rank and levels, you should be able to purchase Turrets and other Abilities to help aid in defending the things that need defending in each mission.

Alternative Method:

Can be obtained on resistance mission "Day 7: Attack on City" Your first objective is to guard a gate, and another objective is to disable the Maintenance Robot. All you need to do is stay crouched near the gate and continue to take out enemies until the robot starts to come towards you, then just toss a grenade and a Molotov if you are a soldier, and keep shooting at the robot with an assault rifle while simultaneously switching out for an SMG at some points to take out overwhelming enemies. The mission's start takes around 5 to 10 minutes, and is easiest due to the fact that your AI partners will continue to stay around you at the gate during this mission.

While on offense, win the match in less than 30% of the time limit.

I found this to be a pain in the butt to achieve this in singleplayer campaign. What you will need to do is, from the Main Menu, go to Freeplay, Private match. These are the settings you will need to have set.

  • Game Mode: Stopwatch
  • Play Mode: Solo
  • Visibility: Solo
  • Map: Any
  • Match Settings:

  1. Match Duration: 30 Minutes
  2. Difficultly: Whichever (Easy, Normal or Hard)
  3. Min/Max Team Size: 0 (Zero)
  4. Everything else, leave the same

Start the mission and complete it in under ten minutes. Thanks Hutch554 for confirming.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/19.jpgWas it the red or the blue wire?(S)

Disarm an HE charge

You can only do this as an engineer. There will be missions where you will need to disarm a bomb. Whether the opposing team is trying to blow up a Primary objective or a secondary objective, there will be a teammate there to let you know if the opposing team is trying to do so. There will also be a time on the top right letting you know there is an enemy HE charge placed somewhere and you need to Disarm it. Most times you only have 40 seconds to disarm it. Disarming an HE charge takes 5 seconds.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/22.jpgSmart decisions win battles(S)

Attempt to Revive an objective-class teammate over a non-objective teammate near a Primary Objective

There will be times where you teammates will be down and one of them might be the one that you need to complete the Primary Objective. Just heal the one that needs to be healed to complete the objective. You will need to be a medic to do so. I would advise trying to get this early on in the game, so it won't be a pain later.

Alternative Method: Thanks k1ll1ng5pr33

Set up a private match with the option 'Friendly Fire' on (Marked with a white dot). Choose any map, Be on the Security side (Blue start up screen) and when the Soldier comes to plant the bomb Shoot him until he is on the floor and wait for another person on your team to come with a different class, shoot him and then heal the Soldier that needs to plant the bomb. Once you have healed the soldier the trophy should follow.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/25.jpgThat mine you found? Disarmed!(S)

Spot a mine which is later defused by another Engineer

You will need to be an operative to spot a mine. Aim down your site and watch the meter above the health bar rise, once complete, your character will say "I found a mine". The problem is having an engineer come over and disarming the bomb while running over it. In order to find the location of a Mine you will need to bring it up with your objective wheel once the you hear an enemy mine has been dropped, by selecting the grayed out objective it will pop up on your screen.

This can be done in a private match with three people. Here is an easier way to get it, Thanks to immikeulate; http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/brink/106294-i-finally-conquered-mine-you-found-disarmed.html

Alternate Method:

If you are having trouble obtaining this trophy, you can use the http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/brink/105698-trophy-boosting-party-up-thread.html to find a partner. One player has to be an Engineer and the other an operative. The operative will wait until a mine pops up; use his/her objective wheel to locate the mind and the Engineer will follow. Once the Operative aims down his/her sight, the mine will pop up on the engineer's screen, allowing him to locate and disarm the mine obtaining the trophy for the Operative. Now just switch and do it again.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/26.jpgBrinksmanship(S)

Complete an Operative Primary Objective within 5 seconds of breaking disguise

Now for this one set the bots to 2 A.I. Bots resort level, now you pick the soldier, set the charge and blow up the pillar. Once you blow the pillar up you move onto the next area which is the bridge; blow the bridge up. Once you have blown the bridge up go to a health post, switch to Operative, now go to the hack station and hack the machine; watch out for the two enemy A.I. Bots, kill them if they come in. Now once you have taken care of the two A.I. go back to hacking the machine till it hits about 85%; now why do I say stop at 80 to 85% because your A.I. partner will come and help hack now. Once you see an enemy A.I come in kill him off quickly, disguise yourself and you should be at 95% on the hack now. Once your disguised and hack the machine it will pop once you hit the 100% completion.

Detonate a HE Charge

As a Soldier, You will need to blow up a door, if you Play the Day 1: Hostage Rescue. Once the HE charge has blown up the trophy will be yours. Just press :square: near the door and wait for it to be planted, hold off any enemies that come to disarm it. Once the 40 seconds have past, the trophy will be yours. Planting an HE charge takes 7 seconds. Thanks PowerPyx for making the video!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/31.jpgWell done!(S)

Complete your first 1 Star Challenge

In the main Menu, there is a challenge section where you can get this trophy at. There are 4 different challenges with the 3 different difficulty ratings. This can only be down solo and not in co-op. The first challenge being called Be More Objective. They can be done in either way, but the difficulty has to be down from one start up to the third start being last and harder. The easiest of the 4 Challenges are Parkour This. If you are having trouble completing the first star challenges, you can go to the campaign and switch the difficulty to easy. Doing that will change the AI difficulty across all challenges to make it a bit easier for the player.

Collect all Audio Logs

Audio logs are obtained as you play through the storyline campaign. There are a total of 74 audio logs in the game. They are in the game for you to learn about the ark and the people who live on it. You can check which Audio Logs you have by going to the main Main Menu and scrolling down to the Dossier. Here is a more comprehensive list of all audio logs,, Thanks to A. Gamer from the sister site. http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=311915

Each level holds 3 to 5 Audio logs for you to obtain. There are 16 levels. If you are having trouble getting any of the audio logs, you can set up a private match, choose any level and no bots in the game, play that level until you get no more audio logs and then move onto the next one.

There are:

10 audio logs in the Security Corporal James MacLeod Section

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/36.jpgYou're going places, kid! (S)

Reach Rank 2

This will be the next rank you will obtain once you get past level 4 of the first rank. 15,000 experience points is needed to obtain this trophy and to move on to the next Rank.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/08.jpgTough as nails (G)

Win all storyline campaign missions (not including What-If missions) playing either Online Versus, or in Hard mode

This can be proven difficult on Hard mode solo, since the AI is not that smart in the game. You can do it over different characters, but not over different saves. Thanks Jamby for the confirmation.

For this particular trophy, you’ll have to win every campaign mission, not including the What-If missions on Hard or Online Versus. I advise you to jump straight into online and play against other players to earn this trophy and the other campaign related trophies.

If you do start on Hard or play Online Versus, play through every mission except the What-If missions. You can do the What-If on Hard or Online Versus, but it’s not needed. When you complete your first mission (or What-If), you’ll earn the “The start of something big” trophy. Once you complete either the Security or Resistance campaign, you’ll get yourself the “You’ve saved the Ark” and the “You’ve escaped the Ark” trophy. If you also complete all the 4 What-If missions, you’ll earn the “To serve and protect” and the “Viva la revolution!” trophy. If you did all this either on Hard or Online Versus (not including What-If), you’ll earn yourself this (“Tough as nails”) trophy.

How to obtain this trophy In online Versus.

Start a new Character, select campaign and pick a match. Have the settings set up like this:

  • Visibility -- Everyone
  • Play Mode --Versus
  • Rank availability -- My rank

Having it set up that way will only allow people at level zero (0) into your game. Now after each win, back out and purchase an ability (:cross:) and then Sell it (:triangle:). Doing that will bring your level back down to zero and you will have no abilities at all. Making the enemy AI the same as they were when you first started the game. There will also be no one able to enter your game, unless they are that same level.

You can do this with a partner, just make sure they are level zero (0), that way they can enter the game and you can get each level done as quickly as possible. Thanks Gukoff (PSN Name) for the Tip.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/34.jpgKing of the world! (G)

Complete all 3 Star Challenges

There are four (4) challenges that consist of 3 levels of difficulty. You will need to be in the Main Menu, head down to challenges, there you will see four challenges that don't have the white mark next to the name. If you end up seeing a white mark next to the name, it could mean that you have reached the last Difficulty for that challenge or you have beaten the last difficulty for that challenge. You can only do this with one character profile and not across multiple characters.

If you are having trouble finding out if you have beaten the last challenge, just head over to the Characters and Weapons section to see if you have any of the attachments that you unlock for completing a challenge difficulty for each challenge or the Leaderboards for that last difficulty for any challenge. If you are having trouble completing the first star challenges, you can go to the campaign and switch the difficulty to easy. Doing that will change the AI difficulty across all challenges to make it a bit easier for the player.

Challenge 1 - Be More Objective:

You are better off, using Grenades to knock back any enemies that are in your way to buy you a little bit of time to complete the task. Be mindful that once you reach the last objective there will be enemies waiting for you at the top. Just take them out as quickly as possible, while using cover to heal when needed.

Thanks SajikoSakura for the video Walktrough.

Challenge 2 - Parkour This:

You will be playing as the lightest body type in the game. You will need to jump from platform to platform and then race back to the beginning. You will be timed. There are nine Checkpoints for you to get to before you are able to race back to the start point to finished the challenge. Make sure to hold the :r2: button to run and jump over gate and onto other objects to get you to the next checkpoint. Please use the video to help with this challenge.

Challenge 3 - Escort Duty:

You will be an engineer that needs to take on small waves of enemies that are trying to take out the Robot. That same robot needs to make it to the other side of the area.

You will need to stay behind the robot at all cost to keep it moving forward. There will be three enemies at a time, until you get closer to the end or die, granting more enemies to come out and shoot at your Robot. Staying behind the robot will provide cover at all times and all you will have to do is take out the enemies one by one until they are gone. There will be lights indicating when waves of enemies are coming from a door.

Thanks SajikoSakura for making the Challenge video Guide!

Challenge 4 - Tower Defense:

You play as an engineer, you will need to fight multiple waves of enemies at once with each star gained. There will be a total 11 waves in total for each star. The best way to go about this is to be Rank 2; That way you will be able to use a turret to add in a direction you won't be able to defend otherwise. Plant a landmine on on the top of the stairs or in-front of the computer that the enemies are trying to hack.

Also watch the lights that come up in front of each entrance to know where the enemies are coming from so you will be better prepared to take on the waves.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/356/37.jpgTime to start a new character (G)

Reach Rank 5

You will need a total of 300,000 XP in order to obtain this trophy. There are 5 levels with each having 4 levels before reaching the next rank, with 5 being the highest. Once you have completed the Single player campaign and all the challenges, you can either go online to achieve the rest of your levels and ranks or play a Private match. If you plan to play a private match you can earn a total of 6,000 to 10,000+ XP for every 30 minutes.

List of all the ranks, levels and experience:

  • Rank 1: Level 1 - 4
  • Rank 2: Level 5 - 9
  • Rank 3: Level 10 - 14
  • Rank 4: Level 15 - 19
  • Rank 5: Level 20

The map to play on is Container city. Here is a summary of what you need to do to gain a lot of XP with the set time limit and the setting you will need. Please choose Freeplay, Private match.

  • Game Mode: Stopwatch
  • Play Mode: Solo
  • Visibility: Solo
  • Map: Container City
  • Match Settings:

  1. Match Duration: 30 Minutes
  2. Difficultly: Whichever ( Normal)
  3. Min/Max Team Size: 8 (Eight)
  4. Everything else the same, except Friendly fire: Turn it off.

Your first objective is to guard a gate, and another objective is to disable the Maintenance Robot. All you need to do is stay crouched near the gate and continue to take out enemies until the robot starts to come towards you, then just toss a grenade, and a Molotov if you are a soldier, and keep shooting at the robot with an assault rifle while simultaneously switching out for an SMG at some points to take out overwhelming enemies. The mission is easy due to the fact that your AI partners will continue to stay around you at the gate during this mission. Thanks CorpusDelecti for the tip.

Here are two videos that can help with gain XP a little faster than just playing the game over and over.

I hope you don't need any reserve, so I am going to say this. Mention in your roadmap that you are using the default controller layout because more than likely, one is going to use the "Duty Calls" preset.

Also, does anybody know if the game supports a subtitle feature for the hearing impaired?

Thanks I didn't even think about mentioning that. I'm glad I didn't post the roadmap yet. I thought there was only one controller Lay-out.

I don't think so. I wish it did, I can't have my TV up so loud, due to Babysitting at night, so I can barely hear much myself, but I would like to.

I knew you would make this. It was only a matter of time.

To tell the truth, I wasn't planning on do this and all the info I have so far is based off memory. I was just bored and was like, hey, maybe I start a guide until someone post something better.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet but for a couple of your trophies there are simplier and different ways to achieve them.

I think I know a shortcut

Open a shortcut for your team

You can achieve this trophy with an Operative as well. You can achieve this right at the beginning of the Resistance mission "Day 6: Black Box" your optional objective is to "Hack the Shop Door" which is to the right of your spawn, hack this and the trophy is all yours.

Cut 'em off at the pass

Close an enemy team's shortcut

This can be done on the Resistance's first What If? Story mission, and it's very easy. During this mission you have to protect a crane, and there are 2 barricades setup on the side and front of it, just repair one barricade and the trophy is yours.

There are a few others in your list that can be done in many different ways, also I don't know if you mentioned this or not either, but doing the challenges, especially the first challenge, is MUCH easier when starting a brand new character and tackling them at level 1 since the enemies level up along side you.

Sadly it does not support subtitles. I'm not hearing impared, but I do film my gameplay footage and like to use subtitles on all my games incase someone that is hearing impared watches them.

You shall not pass! is also extremely easy to obtain on resistance mission "Day 7: Attack on CCity" Your first objective is to guard a gate, and another objective is to disable the Maintenance Robot. All you need to do is stay crouched near the gate and continue to take out enemies until the robot starts to come towards you, then just toss a grenade, and a molotov if you are a soldier, and keep shooting at the robot with an assault rifle while simultaniously switching out for an SMG at some points to take out overwhelming enemies. The mission's start takes around 5 to 10 minutes, and is easiest due to the fact that your AI partners will continue to stay around you at the gate during this mission.

To be honest I was thinking about writing up a guide for this and saw that you had already started one up Godchild, so I'll just delve all of my information over to you and help you finish yours up :D

As for time, and playthroughs. It can be platinumed on easy in one playthrough with co-op partners. The time that I have so far sitting at 52% or more is about 12hrs. So it will probably take 15 or so to complete the entire thing in co-op on easy. :)

For the Roadmap put:

Step 1: Just play the game

Step 1.5: Do challenges (some people might want the attachments)

Step 2: Clean up

I literally have just played the game without caring about trophies and am at 52% and a lot of the ones you listed as hard i got without even noticing

Nice job so far on the guide, any idea on how long it'll take to platinum? I know you can plat the entire thing offline, and since you're making the guide hoping you can give some sort of estimate. Only reason I'm asking is because of no online play right now, if it's a quick plat i'll rent it or it takes some skill and time i'll buy it. Thanks :D

10-20 hours I played maybe 12 or so hours since I got the game and had about 70ercent of the trophies, with 6 hours being at 52 percent.

You know there are some glitches in the game regarding EXP.

One, I've already made a thread about.

Another is you're in a 2 person private match. One person is a soldier, the other is an engineer. Soldier keeps putting HE charges down and the Engineer keeps defusing them. You'll rack up a lot of points this way.

And the final one I've heard about (I've heard about all of these from QA), is that you choose Operative and get the Beacon ability (I think?) and you just sit there and stare at enemies. You'll gain a lot of points that way too.

So are you going to add more info for "Tough as nails?" This trophy is pretty much unpossible after you have ranked up a bit. Its literally you vs 8 super smart, perfect aim having, bullet sponges. You team does absolutely nothing and the enemy builds like 5 turrets and surround the objectives.

Ugh this may not be a problem if/when PSN ever comes back online but after say level 12 beating the campaign solo on hard mode just ain't happening. You got any tips guy?

I will be adding tips for that trophy. As of right now all I can say is start a new character and play on hard. I'm still working on the Audio logs.

Also, just a note, I think when you buy a certain ability the enemy AI also gets that ability for their team.

I found making a new character and doing the challenges backwards ( last challenge first etc) made them a lot easier as the ai seems to scale with your lvl.

Has anyone had any luck with the ai disarming mines? I haven't seen it at all yet.

This trophy and the revive an objective teammate over a non-objective seem to be the only troublesome ones for me.

it was luck for me, i kept running around the resort level (as resistance) during the last objective where you have to hack the system, and just spotted every mine i could, didnt even stay around to watch just kept running and i got it.

the medic one just do a mission where either you have to have a soldier blow something up or an engineer where you defend something and usually half the team goes to one of those to classes, then just sit and wait
