tictacsnake88
I know I sound gay but I am reading breaking dawn of the twilight saga at first I thought they were going to be super lame books but after reading the first book I had to finish all of them Stephenie Meyer is a very good author
Honkymagoo
The Princess Bride. I keep getting too busy to actually read very much of it, though.
fablednemesis
I know I sound gay but I am reading breaking dawn of the twilight saga at first I thought they were going to be super lame books but after reading the first book I had to finish all of them Stephenie Meyer is a very good author Stephanie Meyer is an offense to all written prose ever. Stephen King said "the real difference [between J. K. Rowling and Meyer] is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer, and Stephenie Meyer can't write worth a darn. She's not very good" and he is a master writer. I've just finished the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson, these books are possibly the best books I have ever read, even though they are translated from swedish they are the most flowing prose I have ever read. The have a fantastically intricate narrative with deeply complex characters while never being to difficult to follow. Currently im reading Moby Dick, which while it is a literary classic, it is a difficult read
minko
I haven't bought a new book in awhile but right now I'm in between re-reading Beyond the Shadows (The Night Angel Trilogy book 3) and The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle book 1.) Witcomb
I'm currently reading 'Hyperspace' by Dr Michio Kaku, It explains higher dimensions, quantum mechanics and general relativity in a way that an idiot like me can understand. It’s really fascinating to have all these ideas about other dimensions, time travel and other theories.

I had no problem with the whole Harry Potter craze because the books were actually really good. This Twilight shit is just making me lose hope for humanity all over again. Mitsuru Kirijo
I'm always reading multiple books at once (which is a really terrible habit) and here are the current batch: 2666 and The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolano; Travels With Herodotus by Ryszard Kapuscinski; Pornografia by Witold Gombrowicz; and Flaubert's L'Education sentimentale (i'm working on a translation of it)

Currently re-reading Lord of Chaos for WoT, and re-reading Toll the Hounds for MBotF (in preparation for reading the next one, and then the final book when it comes out). jamby
I suggest people read Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card and maybe his other books (Ender's Game is awesome compared to the others). I may start reading the Harry Potter books. Yes I know... but I do enjoy the movies and I feel like I'm missing so much from the movies so I may start reading the books.
