1. Treasure hunting:

Go through the game and pick up every treasure chest to unlock Loot to Boot. Right in the first level, you should be able to unlock Nine Lives, The Kit Fu is Strong in This One and Invisible Bike. The rest of this playthrough will get you Slide Queen, Weaporisseur, Icky Skiffy and New BFF's.

While you're at it, try to pick up as much money and kill as many enemies as you can. This will mean less grinding in step 3.

2. Speed run

Go back to the beginning and replay each level as fast as you can to unlock Speedy Kitten.

3. Loose ends

Choose a level you're comfortable with for Kitten Power. You will likely need to farm some money and/or kills as well for Fashionista and Unfriendly Fire if you haven't unlocked them yet.

Trophies:

Defeat 100 enemies using slide

Push the left stick diagonally downward and press :cross: to slide. Finish off 100 enemies with this move to unlock the trophy. This is most easily done in the first levels. If you kill all the enemies with slides from the start of level 1 (War on Terra), you'll have enough kills somewhere during level 2 (Skiff Happens).

Total best level times of 90 minutes or less

From the "Level Select" menu, you can view your stats on each level, including your best time on it. You can replay levels again to try to get a better time. The trophy will unlock when the total time for all levels is below 90 minutes (an average of less than 7 minutes per level). A few things to keep in mind when going for this trophy:

  • Stay on the main path, this is no time to explore. - You don't need to kill every enemy. Ignore them except when they may slow you down (for example, by making you fall from a wall).
  • Sprint. Holding :r2: will make Kit run faster, assuming you have some stamina left.
  • Use your blade to slingshot yourself up. When you're climbing a wall, hold :l2: to stick your blade in the wall, then press :cross: to launch yourself upward. This is good way to get higher faster.

Purchase all the Free Blades from Hundert Tonne

When you reach level 2 (Skiff Happens), you'll unlock the Weaporium shop (press :select: to open the Breaker Info screen and select Weaporium). From there you can buy blades (among other things). Buy all three blades (for a total of 257,000hex) to unlock this trophy.

Purchase all the costumes from Hundert Tonne

When you reach level 2 (Skiff Happens), you'll unlock the Weaporium shop (press :select: to open the Breaker Info screen and select Weaporium). From there you can buy costumes (among other things). Buy all six costumes (for a total of 1,495,500hex) to unlock this trophy.

Die nine times in any one level

This one is the easiest trophy. Just let yourself be killed 9 times in the same level.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/653/11.jpgThe Kit Fu is Strong in This Onehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Defeat 10 enemies in a row without losing health

This is most easily achieved in a place where multiple enemies spawn. Hold :l2: to block the enemy attacks and, when there's an opening between attacks, press :square: or :circle:. Repeat this until the trophy unlocks.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/653/12.jpgInvisible Bikehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Perch on and throw an enemy

To throw an enemy, jump over him, hold :l2: and land on his head. If the timimg is correct, Kit will grab the enemy's head with her legs and throw him away. You'll know you can do this to an enemy when a blue glow surrounds his head.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/653/01.jpgIcky Skiffyhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Defeat Acland - successfully complete Act 1

This is unlocked by beating level 7 (Acland).

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/653/02.jpgNew BFF'shttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Defeat the Dreadnaught - successfully complete Act 2

This is unlocked by beating level 13 (Dreadnaught).

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/653/04.jpgKitten Powerhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Complete any level without losing health

Level 2 (Skiff Happens) is a good choice to unlock this trophy because it doesn't have as much traps or enemies. The levels are huge but you don't have to do this in one shot. If you lose health, press :start: and return to the Main Menu. Then select "Continue". You'll start at the last checkpoint you had reached. Just make sure you never reach a checkpoint after losing health. The trophy will unlock at the end of the level.

When you attempt this trophy, you should always keep an eye on Kit's face in the health gauge. As soon as you lose the slightest bit of health, the face will change. Also, remember that, although it's not that much, you can take damage if you fall from high places.

Find all the treasure chests in the game

There are a total of 142 treasure chests in the game. A complete list can be found in RadiantViper's Collectibles Guide.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/653/05.jpgUnfriendly Firehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_gold.png

Defeat 5,000 enemies

5,000 is an awful lot of enemies. A good place to grind this is at the very end of level 8 (Darque Nights), in the last room. Equip the Bastar blade and run to the right wall as soon as you get in the room. Stay right beside the wall and, as you face left, hold :l2: and press :square: repeatedly. The darques will just jump to your blade and they'll keep coming in number.

The only bit of info I think is missing is do you have to do Slide Queen in one go? I've slid through hundreds of enemies every time I play but still no trophy. Is it cumulative over every time you play or do you have to do it in one go?

Just had to wonder out loud. If you know I'd love the info.

I'm not sure. I know I did it in one go myself, but I don't know if that's a requirement.

Seems like it. I'd manage about 80 slides and then I would quit the game to do something else. When I come back I think "Good, only 20 more to go" 20 slides later, nada. So it would seem that it is a requirement to do them in one playthrough.

Just as a heads up. I finally got Slide Queen. I did it on the first level. I think there is a spot where the soldiers keep respawning and I got it there. I just went through the whole level sliding into every enemy I saw. :D
