Special thanks goes to ub4of, for the once again amazing banners!

This collectibles guide for Beyond Good & Evil HD goes in co-ordination with the Beyond Good & Evil Trophy Roadmap and Guide.

This is the base for all information on PA1 Units, Pearls, animal locations, and Looter Cavern directions.

Note that this will have a few spoilers, so read ahead at your own risk.

(S) Bounty Hunter - Looter Cavern Directions

Looter Cavern 1: Across the Mammago Garage you will see a large bank of sand, travel to it and unnaturally speed up the bank until you find a half-open door. This is only possible after defeating the first Sea Serpent DomZ monster.

Looter Cavern 2: Near the Black Isle, you will see another sandy bank. Travel up it and you should see another half-open door. This is the next Looter Cavern.

Looter Cavern 3: After upgrading your hovercraft with the Jump Kit, upon leaving Mammago Garage, jump over the laser fence and turn left. Another sandy bank should be seen, similar to how the first Looter Cavern looked. This is the next Cavern.

Looter Cavern 4: After leaving the third Cavern, off in the distance, you should see an island. You may have noticed this before, but you couldn’t reach it previously. Anyway, travel there and enter. Upon completing this, and if you were going in this order, you’ll earn the respective trophy.

(B) Big Heart - PA1 Unit Locations

#1 - In the Lighthouse after restoring the power at the start of the game. On the top floor, in the bathroom.

#2 - In the Vorax Lair, a beach east of Mammago Garage. Go into the cave and the PA1 is lying in a cabinet.

#3 - In the Ancient Mine in the Black Isle. After Pey’j cuts down the second fence, you will come across a vending machine with the PA1 available for purchase. It costs 1,500 Credits.

#4 - After completing the Black Isle mission, re-enter the the cave opposite the pathway that leads you to the Ancient Mine. Continue through and you will drop down to a platform with a cabinet containing the PA1.

#5 - In the Pedestrian District in Hillys. Enter Ming-Tzu’s shop and you will find he is selling a PA1. Purchase it for 1,500 Credits.

#6 - In the Pedestrian District in Hillys. At Nouri’s stall, purchase the PA1 for 1,500 Credits.

#7 - In the Electrical Closet in the Factory. When you reach the two fuses, you will be attacked by a Guardian Droid. Push it into the electrical currents and you can pass through to find the PA1.

#8 - In the Shipping Area of the Factory. Upon first entering the area, there will be two Alpha Section guards. Take out the two of them, and run to the area they were guarding. You’ll find the PA1 in there.

#9 - In the Loading Dock of the Factory. After defeating the DomZ Robot boss of this area, it’s on a counter in the following hallway.

#10 - In the East Wing of the Slaughterhouse. A crane will be handling boxes here. Hold onto one of the boxes and drop when it is brought to the other side. Drop down into the ditch and crawl to the left. A PA1 is waiting here.

NOTE: If you’ve been following the guide in the given order, you should unlock the trophy here. If you want to fill Jade’s health completely, read on.

#11 - In the North Wing of the Slaughterhouse. After attaining the first fuse stick, go down the elevator and head forward a bit. You’ll soon come to an area with two guards and two electric current fields. Knock the guards into the electricity currents and pass through the catwalk. Crawl through the space, go through the door, past the two guards, and into the room with the PA1.

#12 - In the North Wing of the Slaughterhouse. After nabbing the second fuse stick, go down the elevator and go to the next room. There’s a ramp up to where a guard is situated. In this room is the PA1.

#13 - In the Transmitter Entrance of the Moon. It is in a vending machine as you enter and is pretty hard to miss.

Musca Saprophagia - Kick one of the barrels in the Lighthouse kitchen and an insect will appear. Take a picture.

Lycoperdon Fugiferus - Mushroom creatures all around the Black Isle Mine.

Anemonia Mutabilis - In the Black Isle Mine you will undoubtedly come across a massive anemone which you must attack in order for it to retract its tentacles. Take a snap before doing so.

Crochax Velox - You’ll encounter these in the mine. They honestly look like big wasps. Sometimes, they even carry Pearls. Take a picture.

Amoeba Polypodia - In the Black Isle Mine again, there’s an alcove you can uncover after knocking down a gangway. Walk to the end. A barrier prevents further access. Nonetheless, take out your Camera, zoom in, and take a picture of a pair of creatures.

Cyanea Utica - Jelly-fish monsters in the Secondary Shaft in the Black Isle Mine. Take a picture!

Pelagia Pachydermis - After defeating the jellyfish monsters just above, these will attack afterwards. Take a picture.

Spongus Gluanteus - When you come to the Excavation Map in the Black Isle Mine, turn left and enter a room with a green, spongy creature. Take a picture of it.

Helix Rupestris - Walk across the above-mentioned creature, and you will see a creature popping its head out every so often. Take a picture when its head comes out.

Planaria Rupestris - In the Black Isle Mine, there’s a room with a power box. Kick the box and look upwards. You might see the Planaria Rupestris. When the lights come back on, the creature flees. Take a picture in the dark.

Astacus Erectus - When looking towards the entrance of the mines, go into the waterfall room to the right. Climb the pipe to the left, and you’ll see a few of the creatures running about.

Papilio Pilosus - From this same area, have Pey’j cut the gate, and keep traversing along the duct. Using your Camera, zoom in on the creature on the far ledge.

Nautilus Fluoreus - Return to the Main Shaft. There’ll be a shell-like creature floating the distance. Take a picture, quickly.

Palinurus Rupestris - As you continue on through the mine, you’ll come to a part where Pey’j gets attacked. He is getting attacked by Palinurus Rupestris. Take a picture before killing it.

Pterolimax Gigantean - This is the boss of the mines. Take a picture before you put it down for good.

Manta Cyanea - This creature flies above the Nutripils Factory.

Rattus Giganteus - Big rats running around the Nutripils Factory.

Aedes Raymanis - In the factory, you’ll come across a dead cow. Zoom into its nose and you’ll see a tiny insect. This is the Aedes Raymanis.

Cyclopeus Palustris - The Reaper. You fight it in the factory, and it is story-related.

Sarcophagus Domzii - You fight these in the Factory, and they are the same creatures as what you fought at the beginning of the game.

Rattus Albus - In the X-Ray Verification room of the Factory, you’ll find a catwalk. Follow it and go down the ramp. Hop down to the lower ramp, and you will see a white rat run away. Walk down the ramp further and wait for it to return. When it does, crouch and walk carefully back up the ramp. Try to get a good picture. Note that standing up scares it away.

Blabera Gregaria - In the Factory, Closet area. There’s an empty cabinet in here. Place a Starkos into the cabinet, and insects will come out and nab it, slowly taking it away. Take a picture quickly. If you miss them, simply place another Starkos wafer into the cabinet.

Arachnis Viridis - From the Closet, go to the Nutripils Vat. Pass the guard and into the next corridor. You’ll see a few glowing green spiders. Snap a picture.

Trilobites Saltans - In the entrance to the Slaughterhouse, look left using the Camera and you’ll spot a glowing creature atop the debris.

Ignis Ignifera - Slaughterhouse Surveillance Room. Raise the gate, climb up the gate and have Double H press the switch. When the gate stops moving, quickly traverse to the far right and climb up the ledge, entering the Ventilation Area. Use a Gyrodisk to stop the fire, and you’ll see a flame-like creature to the right.

Timorea Saponifier - In the Trolley area of the Slaughterhouse. Have Double H crash through to the next room. Get rid of the next guard that appears. In the room at the top of the ramp, you should spot a tiny bubbly creature appearing every so often. Shoot the crates its hiding in with a Gyrodisk and it’ll scurry to the opposite side. While it does this, quickly take a picture.

Amoeba Saltans - Slaughterhouse. Ride a trolley to the Central Hall. A console here is marked ‘35’. Make Double H push the button and the Amoeba will jump out of the meat processor.

Lutra Erecta - This is the most adorable creature in the game. After the Lighthouse is destroyed, head upstairs, and a cutscene will occur. Head out to the landing by going up the wooden ramp, and the Lutra Erecta is up top. Isn’t he cute?

Megaptera Purpurea - Once you restore power to the Beluga, head to the crater atop Black Isle. Left, past the beacons, is a whale.

Manta Magnificens - Position yourself over the Black Isle crater, and head east. You will pass the Factory. Keep heading east and eventually you will see the Manta Magnificens.

Aurelia Magnificens - In the Volcano Treasure area. Past the Mdisk reader at the dock, you’ll see a blob. That’s the Aurelia Magnificens.

Megaptera Anaerobia - When in outer space, you will see a shiny blue object. Shoot the ice until a whale comes out, and take a picture of the whale.

#13: Disc Game

Entering your save code to the Beyond Good & Evil website and enter the password you receive into the locked cabinet in Akuda Bar. I don’t know about everyone else but I can’t seem to get this to work.

I got it and it worked. Rumor is that each game get's distinct codes, but I will list my codes just in case it works for everyone else:

B6G7 - room 2

W6W5 - room 3

W6B7 - loading dock factory

T7D8 - slaughterhouse

P5M9 - Akuda bar safe

T6Q4 - Akuda bar disk game

L7C8 - Lighthouse

F4J7 - Hangar

If not, here's how it works. You need to go to this page, register/login to uPlay, and enter your 16-character save code here:

Beyond Good and Evil HD | Darkroom | Ubisoft |

Doing so will show you your score. At the bottom of the page there is a score total and a Mission button. The mission button will only take you to the next step if you have enough score. It shows you a login screen, with a password from 4 to 12 letters long. You need to enter letters, and much like hangman, you can only get so many wrong before you have to retry. You can get four wrong. Reloading the page will give you another try, and pick another password/length to enter. This is the page:

http://darkroom.ubi.com/hd/admin_hillyan.php

Look how many underscores are required for entry, so you know the length. Here are the different passwords used by Digler:

It's a modified registration on the BG&E website, which might not work. You should try registering directly at uPlay

EDIT: There is a "sign up" link on the right side near some avatar customization image.

I'll give it another go, at least it's only eleven required Disks and not all of them, though. :p

I assume I can not bother with the collectables until right before outer space correct? I hate collecting during the story and if I could leave them until then it would be great.

If I didn't collect any until that point, I wouldn't have any un-missable collectables right?

I don't think any of the collectibles are missable. That said, you will need pearls to upgrade your ship and access the various areas of the game to progress through the story (taking pictures of animals also give you pearls).

I recommend buying the animal and pearl detectors as soon as you can, this way they'll show up on your map and you won't have to bother with a guide for those (you'll probably find the m-disks and PA1 units on your own if you search around). ;)
