Introduction:

Ben 10: Galactic Racing is the first Ben 10 game to be a racing game. It's a kart game that burrows ideas from Mario Kart. All the trophies are simple to get and there are a few that you'll have to grind out in the end. Before I continue on with any explanation on how to obtain the trophies, I will say this as it implies to anyone who is seeking this game's platinum. THIS GAME IS NOT EASY! Yes, it's not easy despite the fact that it's a children's game, the races are full of randomness and are based on luck the majority of the time. Of course there are a few gamers who will have absolutely no issues winning the races, while other others will have a difficult time winning a few races. In other words, this game can and will be frustrating because of the A.I. Those who master the game and learn what everything does (including learning tracks shortcuts) will ultimately earn all the trophies in the game.

Walkthrough:

Unlocking The Best Kart:

In this section I'll briefly go over the game's main features which you will need to master. The very first thing you'll want to do is unlock the game's best kart, Kinecelerator, which has the best acceleration and drift boost by doing the following:

  1. At the game's main menu screen select 'Extras'.
  2. Now select 'Promotional Codes'.
  3. Input the following code in the image below:
    http://i.imgur.com/Zg2OqgU.png

The above kart is a kart that you would normally unlock later on by beating a track's best time in Time Trials. With this kart races can become easier for you especially once you mastered drifting. I Platinumed this game using only this kart.

Kart Stats:

There are a total of 8 karts in the game with 2 being defaults (Light & Heavy) and the others you unlock by beating Time Trials. Each kart comes with 5 different stats and varies from the other different karts' stats. Below is an image that describes what the stats and symbols represent on karts:

http://i.imgur.com/mvaB7Gx.png

Do take in note that all karts are technically all the same. Despite the difference in the kart's stats if you mastered one kart in the game it means you master them all. Still I personally prefer the Kinecelerator since it was the one I mastered. If you find a kart that suits you best then don't be afraid to use it instead.

The Characters:

There are a total of 15 characters for you to races as with 9 of them being defaults. Each character has their own unique offensive, defensive and Ultimate Omni powers/abilities. However, the character you choose to play as will not make a difference at all. In fact they all play the same. In other words if you mastered one character, then you mastered them all. Use whatever character(s) you feel comfortable with or try the new ones you unlock along the way. You unlock characters by winning a first place trophy on every circuit during the Galactic Grand Prix. Below is an image of all the characters in the game:

Listen to the announcers:

Like in almost all racing games, there are annoying announcers that talk. In this game though, the announcers will talk at the beginning of all race tracks during the Galactic Grand Prix. When they are speaking, they are really giving you the player a brief explanation of the track you're about to race on. Listen to them every time you unlock a new track you've never raced on before. They explain everything about the track including the jumps, traps and will even mention the shortcuts ;).

Starting a race with an acceleration:

This is a question that many casual players will ask: 'How do you start a race with a boost?' I too have asked myself this question as you'll see the A.I. do this all the time. Well it's quite simply. When the countdown begins, hold :r2: + right after the number '2' appears on your screen. If you timed this right, you will start the race with an acceleration boost. This is something that is highly recommend that you master while playing through the game. It'll come in handy when you're ready to do gold trophies wins, time trials and showdown wins.

Doing jumps to perform stunts:

While you're racing you will come across platforms and ledges where you'll be in mid-air for a few seconds. Whilst in the air perform stunts by pressing the :rs: button in either :rsleft:, or :rsright: directions. You'll do a stunt combo and if you landed back on the track perfectly after doing a stunt combo(s), you'll charge you're character's offensive power, which can be used to knock out the A.I. in front of you.

Doing drifts:

The drifting in the game is what you'll really, really need to master. Drifting is what charges up your character's defensive power, which can be used to block/avoid incoming attacks for a few seconds. Not only that, but the defensive power is an ability that will help you in grinding out the 100 bump karts in your last step towards the Platinum. You perform a drift by pressing and holding either :r2: or :l2: while still driving your kart with the :ls: button. If you're drifting long enough, you'll see a blue like flame under your kart. This is an instant acceleration boost that you've received due to your long drift. This drifting ability effect varies with karts stats, but if you're using the Kinecelerator, you'll receive this ability much more faster while drifting as this kart has the best drift boost stat in the game.

Pickup Omni-Nodes Power-ups:

Omni-Nodes are an Omnitrix power-up, which you can use in varies ways depending on the type you've gotten. There are a total of 12 of them and they can only be picked up by players and A.I. during the races or other game modes. The game will randomly shuffle the following power-ups:

http://i.imgur.com/QCAeCT6.png

How to win races:

This section will explain how you win races. This game uses a point system to determine who wins the circuits races. In other words to win a first place trophy on every circuit, you must be the player who has the most points. Each placing has a specific amount of points allocated to your position. The higher the place, the more points received. The lower the place, the least points received. Below is the scoring system of the races, which are added up with a cumulative score that determines who the overall winner is:

Ben 10: Galactic Racing - Scoring System Rankings

  1. 100

  2. 80

  3. 70

  4. 50

  5. 40

  6. 30

  7. 20

  8. 10

For example, let’s say you scored 1st place twice and then gotten 4th place on the last race. Your score will add up like this 100 + 100 + 50 = 250 Cumulative Results out of a possible 300 points. If you're the highest player with that score you'll win the first place gold trophy but lets say an A.I. who was winning 2nd place twice then ends up winning 1st place on the third race. His score will add up like this 80 + 80 + 100 = 260 Cumulative Results out of a possible 300 points. You see? He has beaten you by a mere 10 points meaning that you'll get the 2nd place silver trophy for that Grand Prix circuit since he was the winner of the circuits. This can be frustrating at times when this happens.

One final note before moving on is that I won 1st place with a cumulative result of 190 points out of 300. Another A.I. had also tied with me at 190 points as well. I had the following score 70 + 100 + 20 = 190 but still won since I had the 190 points first before him. This is all luck based though. If you were the player who tied with another person who was winning, then they’ll still be the winner of the circuits as I lost a circuit with 270 points tied with another A.I. player.

Step 1: Complete the Galactic Grand Prix

This is the first step towards obtaining the Platinum. You'll have to complete a series of multi-track circuits all over the galaxy to unlock new tracks and characters in the game by completing the Galactic Grand Prix. To do this you'll need to win a first place gold trophy on every circuit. As explained in the above tutorial section you win the circuits by being the player who has the most points. Each of the positions has a specific amount of points allocated to your position. The higher the place, the more points received and the lower the place, the fewer points received. Winning the gold trophy on the circuits is what unlocks the new characters in the game and completing the races will naturally unlock the remaining tracks for all modes. Other than that, there are a total of 8 circuits you must complete. The first 7 circuits will have 3 multi-track circuits while the last circuit will have 4 multi-track circuits. This is a total of 25 multi-track races that increases in length as you progress through the game. Keep in mind though that this is also here to help you learn and master the game which will make you a better racer.

One final note that I already mentioned before is that this game will be frustrating with a few races and the cheap AI. You could win first place twice in a row and then perform terribly bad on the last track and lose the 1st place gold trophy at the end of the racing. Also, there is no resetting or restarting a race whilst playing through the Galactic Grand Prix. Plus, don't be afraid to use the promotional code of Ben, Spidermonkey, Kevin Levin and Ultimate Echo Echo for the Kinecelerator kart. It's the best kart in the game and this kart can even be used to 100% the game.

Step 2: Beat the Track Best Time on Certain Time Trials Tracks

During this step you'll have to demonstrate your driving skills by attempting to beat the best time on any unlocked track in the game. If you have finished the first step by completing the Galactic Grand Prix, you should have unlocked all the tracks naturally. Now you just need to beat the best times on a few of the tracks. You don't have to beat all of them but just the ones related towards a trophy's unlocking, plus there are certain specific tracks that you'll have to beat in order to get all the karts in the game to unlock. Below are all the tracks that I suggest you beat as these are the ones that unlock the karts and trophies related to doing them:

  • Tidal Tundra
  • Necrofriggian Valley
  • Rubble Rumble
  • Azmuth's Forge
  • Whirlpool Core
  • Dimension Dementia

One final thing to do here is to beat a track's best time on any track by 10 seconds or more. There's a chance you'll do this naturally while unlocking the remaining karts, If not then I suggest that you do it on the following track:

  • Galvan Gorge

Just make use of the shortcuts, don't do jumps and go for all the accelerate power-ups, etc. For more information, then please refer to the Kart Collector description in the trophy guide section.

Step 3: Win 10 Times on All Three Showdown Modes

This is the third step where you'll need to go head-to-head with other racers in arena battles and elimination races. There are three different showdown modes where you must get 10 wins each. The showdown modes are the following:

  • Ultimate Alienation
  • Omni-Tag
  • Ultimate Elimination

These showdown modes all have trophies related to them. You'll need to win 30 times total altogether but the Ultimate Elimination is the only one you don't have to win 10 times on. It has only one trophy related to it, so you can quit as soon as you unlocked its related trophy. Omni-Tag is the one you'll have to play as a team. Making you have to get 20 wins from Omni-Tag and 10 wins from Ultimate Alienation. For more information, please refer to the trophy guide section.

Step 4: Clean Up & Grinding Remaining Trophies

This is the final step for obtaining the platinum. If not done already go back and clean up all the remaining trophies until you only have the following time consuming trophies:

(B)
Not Even a Scratch

(B)
Bumper Karts

(B)
Alien Force

(S)
Outta My Way!!!!!

The above trophies will be some of the last trophies you get, so prepare yourself for about 2-5 hours worth of grinding. They can be farmed on any tracks but I highly recommend that you do them in Single Race on the very last circuit of the Primus Oominus track called:

  • Azmuth's Forge

This is the best track to farm the 100 bump karts and block/avoid 100 attacks using your Defensive Power. I suggest you knock off the 100 bumps first then finish the 100 block/avoid attacks last. For more information, please refer to the Trophy Guide section.

Additionally, I won 1st place before with a cumulative results of 190 points out of 300. Another A.I. had also tied with me at 190 points as well. I had the following score 70 + 100 + 20 = 190, but still won since I had the 190 points first before him. This is all luck based though. If you were the player who tied with another person who was winning, then they’ll still be the winner of the circuits as I lost a circuit with 270 points tied with another AI player.

Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any Kylmyys track.

Kylmyys is the blue planet with white markings similar to a frozen wasteland. I recommend that you do the following two track time trials because they unlock 2 karts (one from each track) when you beat the track best time:

  • Tidal Tundra
  • Necrofriggian Valley

Kylmyys tracks are the following:

  • Blizzard Ridge
  • Frozen Freeway
  • Tidal Tundra
  • Icefall Cavern
  • Necrofriggian Valley

Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any Null Void track.

Null Void is the grey planet that looks like a rock. Truth is the Kinecelerator unlocks on one of these tracks, but if you used the promotional code to unlock the kart. Then there will be no karts to unlock on these tracks, so you can pick any track, however, I recommend the following track as I personally found this Null Void track to be the easiest:

  • Dimension Dementia

Null Void tracks are the following:

  • Drill Bass Drag
  • Null Avoidance
  • Guardian Gauntlet
  • Dimension Dementia
  • Havoc Highway

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/15.jpg Got Skillz (B)

Beat the Track Best time in a Time Trial on any track by 10 seconds or more.

For this trophy you must beat the track best time in a time trial on any track by 10 seconds or more. The shorter tracks are extremely hard to do this on, but the longer races will make this a lot easier. There's a chance you'll do this naturally while unlocking the remaining karts. If not, then I suggest that you do it on the following track:

  • Galvan Gorge

Just make use of the shortcuts, don't do jumps, go for all the accelerate power-ups, and always drift to get a drift boost etc. My time was 02:30.19 and the Track's time is 02:40.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/49.jpg Kart Collector (S)

Unlock all karts in the game.

There are a total of 8 karts in the game with 2 being defaults (Light & Heavy) and the others you unlock by beating time trials. You'll unlock time trials by beating the circuits during the Galactic Grand Prix. Each kart comes with 5 different stats and varies from the other different karts' stats. The very first thing you'll want to do is unlock the game's best kart, Kinecelerator, which has the best acceleration and drift boost in the game by doing the following:

  1. At the game's main menu screen select 'Extras'
  2. Now select 'Promotional Codes'
  3. Input the following code in the image below
    http://i.imgur.com/Zg2OqgU.png

The above kart is one you would normally unlock later on by beating a track's best time in time trial. With this kart races can become easier for you especially once you mastered drifting. I Platinum this game with the use of this kart only.

The following is how to unlock all karts in the game:

  • Plasma Tank: Unlocked by beating Tidal Tundra time trial
  • Rust Bucket: Unlocked by beating Necrofriggen Valley time trial
  • Vreedle Truck: Unlocked by beating Rubble Ramble time trial
  • Plumber Ship: Unlocked by beating Azmuth's Forge time trial
  • Ship: Unlocked by beating Whirlpool Core time trial
  • Kinecelerator: Unlocked via a time trial on Null Void's track but use the promotional code instead.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/16.jpg Tag! I'm It! (B)

Win 10 individual Omni-Tag showdowns in Single Player mode.

From the game's main menu, select 'Showdown' then select 'Omni-Tag'.

For this trophy, you'll have to win 10 individual Omni-Tag showdowns. In Omni-Tag, the arena is populated with a series of gates. Driving through an active gate scores 2 points but only if you're the one carrying the Plumber's Badge! A Plumber's Badge looks like this:

http://i.imgur.com/D82AfL6.png

- The Plumber's Badge

To grab the Plumber's Badge and carry it around with you, just drive through it. To steal the Plumber's Badge from another racer and score a point, shoot the racer with your Neuroshock Blast. The racer with the most points when the time runs out is the winner.

Below are some basic tips that will help you win:

  • Set the time limit to 01:00:00 so the matches end faster.
  • Select the 'Crash Compactor' as your arena. This is the best map and has acceleration boosts you can use while driving around in circles to score points.
  • When the countdown begins, hold :r2: + right after the number '2' appears on your screen. If you timed this right, you will start the arena with an acceleration boost towards the middle and will grab the Plumber's Badge.
  • If you fail at getting the Plumber's Badge or fail the boost at the start, spam the :cross: button to shoot the racer with the your Neuroshock Blast. Chances are you'll hit them and steal the Plumber's Badge. If not just press :start: and select 'Restart'.
  • If you have the Plumber's Badge, just drive around the arena in circles while using the acceleration boosts. You'll score points fast as all the gates are around the edges in circles. It is extremely rare for the enemies to actually even hit you thus making you win every time with this method.
  • Repeat 9 more times.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/17.jpg Tag! We're It! (B)

Win 10 Team Omni-Tag showdowns in Single Player mode.

This is the exact same thing as the above trophy description, but make sure you checkmark the 'Team Play' at the race options screen. You can continue to get the Plumber's Badge yourself or just let your team mate A.I. do the scoring for you as you're in a team together. I personally preferred getting the Plumber's Badge myself as my team-mate A.I. was not scoring and was in fact wasting my time.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/18.jpg Ultimate Alienator (B)

Win 10 Ultimate Alienation showdowns in Single Player mode.

From the game's main menu, select 'Showdown' then select 'Ultimate Alienation'.

For this trophy you'll have to win 10 Ultimate Alienation showdowns. Ultimate Alienation is a knock-down, drag-out fight for alien domination! You'll face off against seven opponents and try to hit as many other racers as you can as many times as you can before time runs out. You get one point for each racer you hit. The racer with the most points when time's up wins.

Below are some basic tips that will help you win:

  • Set the time limit to 01:00:00 so the matches end faster.
  • You can select any arena you wish as it doesn't matter.
  • When the match starts, just drive and sit on a power-up and keep shooting it forward or backwards with either  + :cross: or  + :cross:
  • You'll always win this way because you'll have an average score of about 15-20 points in a single match.
  • Repeat 9 more times.

Escape elimination in an Ultimate Elimination showdown with less than 10 seconds on the clock in Single Player mode.

From the game's main menu, select 'Showdown' then select 'Ultimate Elimination'.

For this trophy, you'll have to escape elimination in an Ultimate Elimination showdown with less than 10 seconds on the clock. Ultimate Elimination is just like a Grand Prix race but throughout the race a countdown timer keeps track of the time. At the intervals throughout the race, the racer in last place is automatically eliminated until, eventually only one racer remains. The racer remaining when all other racers have been eliminated is the winner.

Below are some basic tips that will help you win:

  • Easiest way is to race and do some jumps stunts to build up an offensive power move.
  • After that wait and let others past you on purpose until you're in last place.
  • Once the last guy drives past you drive after them but and don't pass him since you're waiting until the countdown timer is under 10 seconds.
  • Once the timer is less than 10 seconds on the clock, use an offensive power move on the last guy that past you and don't let him past you again. He'll get eliminated thus unlocking your trophy.
  • You can quit the race after the trophy unlocks as there is nothing else to do in this mode.

Destroy 10 Shard Mines using the EMP power-up in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you have to destroy 10 Shard Mines by using the EMP power-ups. This can be earned in races but you can easily get this while going for the 10 wins in Ultimate Alienation showdowns. Below are the power-up icons you're looking for to get this trophy:

http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g451/blazenarutoshippuden/th_Capture-11.png

To destroy the 10 Shard Mines using the EMP power-up do the following:

  • Set the time limit to 09:00:00 so the match is longer.
  • You can select any arena you wish as it doesn't matter.
  • When the match starts, just drive and sit on a power-up and keep spamming :cross: over and over again.
  • By doing this you'll randomly get Shard Mines and they will be right behind your kart. Whenever you get and use an EMP power-up, the Shard Mine(s) will get shattered and destroyed. This can be done in a single round.
  • After the trophy unlocks you can quit.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/21.jpg Counter Measure (B)

Destroy an incoming attack by firing an attack of your own in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you have to destroy an incoming attack by firing an attack of your own. This can be earned in races but you can easily get this while going for the 10 wins in Ultimate Alienation showdowns. All you have to is pickup a power-up and use them behind you whenever the red exclamation mark (!) appears above your kart, this indicates an incoming attack. In the Ultimate Alienation showdowns you are guaranteed to get this without even trying if you're sitting on a power-up and spamming it. Your power-up will naturally end up hitting another attack, thus unlocking the trophy.

Win a race on any Basic track without using an Omni-Node or Offensive Power in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you need to win a race on any basic track without using an Omni-Node or Offensive Power. This means you can only use the Defensive Power which you get by drifting with either the :l2: or :r2: buttons as you're turning corners to charge up the meter. When the Defensive Power meter is fully charged you can press :circle: to block/avoid attacks. Always use shortcuts and use the defense power whenever needed. Be warned though as this can be both frustrating and luck based. I recommend that you do this trophy on the following track:

  • Toxic Tunnels

The remaining tracks related to this trophy are the following:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/25.jpg Boom! Winning! (S)

Successfully hit every opponent in a race at least once with any Power-Up in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you have to successfully hit every opponent in a race at least once with any Power-Up. There are a total of 7 other opponents in a race besides you. You must simply hit all of them at least once with any power-ups you get from the Omni-Nodes. This is actually extremely easy to do. In fact, you'll unlock this trophy without even trying for it during the Galactic Grand Prix circuit races. It should also be noted that that the Offensive Power mode can be use to help unlock this trophy. An Offensive Power can literally hit about 3-5 opponents in front of you.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/26.jpg Omni-Node Master (S)

Pick up 8 different Omni-Node types in each of 10 different races in Single Player mode.

For this trophy, you must pickup 8 different Omni-Node types in each of 10 different races. The pickups are called Omni-Nodes which you can use in varies ways depending on the type you've gotten. There are a total of 12 of them and they can only be picked up by players and A.I. during the races or other game modes. The game will randomly shuffle the following power-ups:

http://i.imgur.com/QCAeCT6.png

You need to get 8 out of the 12 in the above image in 10 different races. This can be done on any track as it doesn't matter which track you do this on. You do not have hit any opponents with them at all, just use them. Despite the game randomly shuffling the power-ups you'll receive. There's actually a little factor that determines the power-up you get. For example, there are power-ups that you'll only get while in the following places:

  • Defensive/Blocking powers-ups are in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position
  • Shooting power-ups are in the 4th, 5th, or 6th position
  • Support/Ultimate power-ups are in the 7th and 8th position

In other words just race like you normally would and drop positions on purpose while picking up power-ups. Be sure to use them every time you get one. By the end of your first playthrough, you'll have to farm this trophy since you'll have about 3-6 on average after completing the Galactic Grand Prix.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/27.jpg Missed Me! (B)

Finish a race in first, second, or third place without being affected by an enemy attack in Single Player mode.

For this trophy, you must finish a race in first, second or third place without being affected by an enemy attack. This is actually not as hard as it sounds and it's also the only trophy in the game that can earned by being at 2nd or 3rd place. You are allowed to use power-ups, offensive and defensive power moves to help achieve this trophy. I recommend that you do this trophy on the shorter 'Short Circuit' tracks because it has less time meaning you will get hit less. There is a chance that you'll unlock this trophy naturally because truth be told, I got this trophy within 1 minute 56 seconds of playing the game. The 2nd trophy I had unlocked.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/28.jpg Not Even a Scratch (B)

Block/avoid 100 attacks using your Defensive Power in Single Player mode.

For this trophy, you must block/avoid 100 attacks using your Defensive Power. This will be one of your last trophies that you'll get. Drifting is what charges up your character's defensive power, which can be used to block/avoid incoming attacks for a few seconds. Not only that, but the defensive power is an ability that will help you in grinding out the 100 bump karts for the Outta My Way!!!!! trophy. When you have gotten the Defensive Power use it by pressing :circle: whenever a red exclamation mark (!) appears above your kart. Use the Defensive Power against any opponent's Stink Stank Stuck, Gloop Slick or Shard Mine during races. I suggest you knock off the 100 bumps first then finish the 100 block/avoid attacks last just because it'll save you time a little more while grinding.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/29.jpg Bumper Karts (B)

Successfully bump 25 karts in Single Player mode.

See 'Outta My Way!!!!!' for more information.

Successfully bump 50 karts in Single Player mode.

See 'Outta My Way!!!!!' for more information.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/31.jpg Outta My Way!!!!! (S)

Successfully bump 100 karts in Single Player mode.

For this trophy, you must successfully bump 100 karts. A bump is really when knock out an opponent by making them spin out of control. There are only two ways that you can do this and it's with either the Ultimate power-up or the Defensive Power. The Ultimate power-up is only received at 7th and 8th position of a race and can knockout 1-2 opponents if it hits them. You can't control this power-up though. I highly recommend that you use Defensive Power moves to get the 100 bumps. By this point of the game you should know that drifting is what gives you the Defensive Power. These can be farmed on any tracks but I highly recommend that you do them in 'Single Race'. On the very last circuit of Primus Oominus' track called:

  • Azmuth's Forge

It is the best track to farm the 100 bump karts and block/avoid 100 attacks using your Defensive Power. In fact it's the fast track with my method below:

  • Do these trophies in Single Race mode
  • Always farm the 100 blocks/avoids & bumps on Azmuth's Forge
  • Reason is you'll get 6-10 bumps on Azmuth's Forge.
  • Always drift to get Defensive Power and try to hit 1-2 opponents with it while racing.
  • Near the end of the track's lap is an acceleration boost to the finishing line. Never use this!!! Instead of using the acceleration, wait in front of it and then activate your Defensive Power move. About 1 to 3 dumb A.I racers will still attempt to use the acceleration. Making them drive through you and reducing your time greatly instead of trying to hit them.
  • Repeat this over and over again as it the fastest way to get the 100 bumps.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/32.jpg Get My Drift? (B)

Execute a 500-meter drift in a race in Single Player mode.

See 'Prime Drifter' for more information.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/33.jpg Kineceleration (B)

Execute a continuous boost of 8 seconds or more in a race in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you must execute a continuous boost of 8 seconds or more in a race. This isn't hard at all and you're bound to unlock this trophy without even trying for it especially if you're always using the Kinecelerator (has best acceleration). What you got to do is simply use the acceleration boost pads that you see on the tracks, then use the Accelerate power-up to give yourself even more continuous boost. If you're having issues unlocking the trophy naturally, then I recommend that you do it on the following tracks in Time Trials:

  • Codon Coldera
  • Whirlpool Core

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqpYx3XLnIs]Ben 10: Galactic Racing - Kineceleration - YouTube[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/34.jpg Prime Drifter (B)

Execute a 750-meter drift in a race in Single Player mode.

For this trophy, you must execute a 750-meter drift in a race. This isn't hard at all but it can only be done on tracks with enough open space. There are about four different tracks where you can do this trophy on, which are the following:

  • Havoc Highway - There is a ring like area
  • Azmuth's Forge - There is an open area near the halfway point
  • Whirlpool Core - There is an open area near the water & track
  • Drill Base Drag - There is a ring like area

I drifted on all of these tracks and gotten the 750+ drift. You do this by simply drifting around and around in open spaced circular areas in time trials (or even races), then you let go of the drift when you done it enough times to break the 750-meter drift.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/35.jpg Big Air (B)

Complete a jump with an air time of 3 seconds in a race in Single Player mode.

See 'Way Bigger Air' for more information.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/36.jpg Way Bigger Air (B)

Complete a jump with an air time of 4 seconds or more in a race in Single Player mode.

For this trophy, you must complete a jump with an air time of 4 seconds or more in a race. There is no way to miss these trophies. If you're playing the game and are doing stunts in the air like you normally would, you’ll naturally get these air time trophies without even trying for them. It should be noted that using the same stunts will always count as an air time. For example, :rsright:, :rsright:, etc. will end up showing that jump's air time. Other than that the track that contains the 4 second air time is the following:

  • Havoc Highway

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/39.jpg Double Trouble (B)

Complete 10 2X stunt combos while racing in Single Player mode.

See 'Omni-Trickster' for more information.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/40.jpg Triple Threat (B)

Complete 10 3X stunt combos while racing in Single Player mode.

See 'Omni-Trickster' for more information.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/41.jpg Omni-Trickster (S)

Complete 10 4X stunt combos while racing in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you must complete 10 4X stunt combos while racing. A stunt is performed by doing mid-air jumps and then doing a trick while in the air. For the combo to count, you need to perform different stunt tricks. For example you can alternate the :rsleft:, and :rsright: until you did four of them. Once you've performed a stunt in the air and landed successfully, your combo number will show up on the screen and your Offensive Power meter will be charged. It should be noted that these stunts don't stack with the 2x and 3x stunts. You'll have to do them all separately unlock their trophy. The best place to finish all the remaining stunts you still need during clean is the following track:

  • Havoc Highway

The best thing about this track is that the jump is at the start of the race. Once you did you combo, you can press :start: and 'Restart' the track over again. Be sure to do this trophy on 'Single Race' mode.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/42.jpg Air Show (B)

Take out an opponent with a power-up while the opponent is airborne in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you must take out an opponent with a power-up while the opponent is airborne. You can only do this with certain offensive power-ups or the Offensive Power. You can take them out when an opponent jumps off the ramps and then use the power-up/offensive power to take them out. This is a trophy you should naturally get without even trying for it. Below are the power-ups capable of doing this trophy:

http://i.imgur.com/HuKi8DS.png

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/43.jpg Leapfrog (B)

Pass an opponent by jumping over/past them in Single Player mode.

Self-explanatory. This is another trophy you'll earn without even trying and will most likely get this during the Galactic Grand Prix playthrough.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/44.jpg Absolutely Smashing (B)

Successfully bump an opponent by landing on him in Single Player mode.

Self-explanatory. This is another trophy you'll earn without even trying and will most likely get this during the Galactic Grand Prix playthrough. Whenever you're in mid-air, try to land on an opponent. This also counts as a bump towards the 100 bumps trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/45.jpg Unstoppable! (B)

Win a race by tumbling or spinning over the finish line in Single Player mode.

For this trophy you must win a race by tumbling or spinning over the finish line. Chances are you'll get this trophy without even trying for it, however, there are only about two places in the game where you can do this on purpose. The normal way is whenever an opponent shoots you with a power-up/offensive power or bumps you. To do this on purpose you'll have to do it on either of the following tracks:

  • Piscciss Falls - Slide on the ice patch in front of the finishing line.
  • Galvan Gorge - There's a jump ramp so do a trick and fail it to slide over the finishing line.

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSKdXKxvvP8]Ben 10 Galactic Racing Unstoppable Achievement - YouTube[/ame]

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/46.jpg Close Call (B)

Win a race by less than a second in Single Player mode.

Self-explanatory. This is another trophy you'll earn without even trying and will most likely get this during the Galactic Grand Prix playthrough. You'll have to win 1st place though for the trophy and an A.I. opponent must be literally under a second. It can be lucked based sometimes, so if you're having issues with getting this trophy. I recommend that you race a track like you normally would and wait at the finishing line while holding and looking behind your kart with the :triangle: button. Then when an opponent is coming drive past the finishing line and hopefully you gotten the trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1143/47.jpg Give 'Em the Slip (B)

Pass an opponent while drifting in Single Player mode.

Self-explanatory. This is another trophy you'll earn without even trying and will most likely get this during the Galactic Grand Prix playthrough. Whenever you turn a corner just hold either :l2: or :r2: to drift and you'll naturally past an opponent while drifting, in fact there's a 100% chance that this will be your first trophy in the game!

This a challenge guide as the current one is misleading and even has the wrong time estimate and lacking of trophy information descriptions. You can't even platinum this game 8-12 hours (game even has long loading screens similar to Duke Nukem Forever) and it's not easy to all gamers as it can be frustrating. This guide serves to fix these issues with the proper way to platinum this game as well as to help you master the game with a tutorial, so enjoy the trophy guide.

BTW, this is my 3rd THL event trophy Guide in the same month. ;)

I got this game coming on the Vita and this guide has both scared me and given me hope at the same time. I'm pissed that this is not the 10-12 plat (the only reason I got it) the it was said to be but happy to see its still gonna be doable with this awesome guide. Plus I need something to play while I'm away from my PS3 anyway.

Yeah, but gamer like you won't have an issue. I fell in the causal side for the game, but now I can platinum it on 1-3 days after learning everything. Nothing to worry about. ;)

Ey Blaze outstanding effort dude! I'm stuck in a few trophies since months ago, but with this new tips/guide I found a motivation for finish this crappy game lol... thanks for that, I wish to know if it's possible that one Sticky guide can be removed and changed for a new one??

I hope you can get the (P) now with the info provided. As for any guides that appear on a forum that already has a 'sticky'. It's called a 'Challenge Guide'.

And just out of fun for more info. Forums without a sticky guide that end up with multiple guides are called 'Guide Battles'. :)

Hey Blazenarutoshippuden,

Great guide, I saw this is indeed detailed then the other guide. Although you state that this game you can't (P) in the time frame the other guide states, which is 8-12 hours, I have to disagree. You can platinum this game in that time frame, I got it today and platinum it today (approximately 8hr and 10mins, and I ate lunch and dinner in between). Plus, I did struggle a bit on a couple of trophies. Just a heads up bro! Again, great guide though.

Thanks, and that is extremely skill dependent. Only profile I seen in 8 hours. Others I seen best was 14H 50M. I still leaving it at that time though as not everyone can do that. They see the time of 8-12 and go out to buy the game to later discover its hard for them like what happened to me.

Galvan Gorge is recommended for Got Skillz, does anyone happen to know the time to beat? I did a few runs before noticing the original best time. I can't seem to top 48 seconds, I feel like I'm missing a shortcut or something

Guardian Gorge does not unlock Nothin' But Maximum Skill. Also, you have to press both :l2: and :r2: to drift. You mention a couple times that it's either one or the other, when it's in fact, both.

You talking about Guardian Gauntlet? As for the :l2: and :r2: buttons you can drift with the use of either one which is both. I might just have to reword it around if its confusing the way it's currently written. :o
