Battleship - Collectibles Guide

Information -

The collectibles in Battleship are simple and easy to find with 28 total. The collectibles are called Pegs and look similar to pegs from the battleship board game the are small and float above the ground usually hidden in corners. There are 4 of them on each of the 7 missions.

Pegs will be color coded in Orange. The collectibles are in the order that you find them in the game and I have added when the missions start in Bold text so that you know which collectibles are from which missions. I also added in notes marked by starting with "***" in cases where there was a specific trophy to get in a location or if it was very easy to obtain a certain trophy in a location.

Collectibles Guide -

--- Mission 1: The Arrival ---

Peg #1 – You will see a cutscene where you see a giant circular barrier be erected and you will be blinded with light. You are supposed to proceed forward but instead turn to your left and follow a narrow path to a Peg on the ground.

Peg #2 – Once you finally run into your first enemies there will be some tents on your left, proceed past them to find the Peg in the corner.

Peg #3 – As you continue fighting your way through the enemies, you will eventually come to a spot where you are instructed to blow up a relay tower with C4. Looking at the objective turn around and back down the small flight of stairs you came up the Peg will be back in the corner to the right of you.

Peg #4 – After destroying the relay tower mentioned in the last Peg you will be sent down to the beach. Kill the enemies and a wild card will appear but first go to the long metal tower in front of it that's tilted up at an angle. Climb it by jumping over and over again until you get up to the top to claim your Peg.

--- Mission 2: Construction ---

Peg #5 – Start climbing as you start until you get to the tall white tower. Now look to your left to see a path between some large rocks proceed in to find an entire area but as you enter on your right you will find the Peg.

Peg #6 – When you reach the outskirts of the base and gain your submarine you have to go up a hill and then a flight of stairs. However instead of going on the stairs instead go under it to find the Peg waiting for you.

Peg #7 – From the last Peg go up the large stairs, then you will go up another set of small stairs to find a force field on your left. You will have to go right down some stairs then back up some stairs now turn left at the top of the stairs. You will see an alley between two buildings go in to find the Peg at the end.

Peg #8 – Once you get the objective to go after the weather emitter continue until you see the beach on your right. Go right down onto the beach then keep following it right until you can see some cliffs that are climbable. Go up these cliffs until you reach the fences of the complex you left not long ago and find a Peg in front of them.

--- Mission 3: Overrun ---

Peg #9 – Start climbing up the mountain as you start until you reach an area with the first enemies and a bunch of barricades. Look to your left around the corner as you enter and you will see the Peg.

Peg #10 – You will continue along the cliffs fighting enemies. The first building you enter which is a very small bunker allows you to go forward, left, or right. Turn right to see the Peg just a few feet away.

*** Right before Peg #11 you will fight your first Thug class enemy. He is a large guy with a blade on his hands who will rush up to you and use melee attacks on you. I suggest you get the "Brought a Knife to a Gunfight?" trophy here by using your pistol to get the last hit and kill thug you can weaken him with another weapon if you choose.

Peg #11 – After blowing up two objectives and a door with C4. After going in the door you will come to a crashed plane. One of the wings will be propped up against the cliff go under this wing to find another Peg.

Peg #12 – Continue into the ruins of a base. You will go up several ramps but once you reach the main part of the base up top there will be wide circular cement structures on your right. Behind the second one of these structures is your Peg.

*** After defending your allies and destroying the turret but before heading to your extraction point, this is when you get the "Naval Mastery" Trophy. Now that the turret is gone just place three of your ships on the three support positions to acquire this trophy.

--- Mission 4: The Big Guns ---

Peg #13 – As soon as the mission starts turn around and walk forward into an area of palm trees surrounded by rocks. Look to your right and the Peg will be hidden in the corner.

Peg #14 – After you defend you allies and get them to disable the shield continue down the path. You will come to a fence to go through, instead turn to your left and in a corner by some crates is the Peg.

Peg #15 – After fighting the enemy with the Railgun but before destroying the objective. From the objective you have to destroy, turn around and see a plane wing sticking straight up in the air. Go behind this wing to find a spot you can crawl into and find the Peg.

Peg #16 – From the last Peg you will be standing next to a fence, follow this wall all the way across the area until you are at the first place you defended you allies. Now follow the wall of the cliff you were on as you protected them and shortly you will run right into another Peg.

*** After collecting the previous Peg, destroy your objective and you will get a new one to defend the ammo depots on the pier with a long range weapon. I suggest obtaining the "Extra Credit" trophy here, all you have to do is pick up a Railgun and and hit a group of three enemies with one charged up shot from the Railgun and you will have the trophy.

--- Mission 5: They're Back! ---

Peg #17 – From the start you will continue forward until you walk under a large bridge. After going under it, turn left and you will see a ramp of metal that you can use to climb up on top of it. Do this and when you get to the top you will have to jump a gap to get to the Peg.

Peg #18 – Once you leave the complex and head down near the water there will be two paths that you can take. The one that it tells you to take is left, to the right you can walk under a rusty pipe that goes back to the complex. Do this and head to the tall white pole behind it behind that pole is the Peg.

Peg #19 – Shortly after the last Peg you will be told to travel through a minefield. As you walk up to it, an alien with a Railgun will be shooting at you over a great distance from a small raised platform. Kill him and go to the platform he was at, once there go behind it to find another Peg.

Peg #20 – Your final objective will be to destroy the three cargo containers. Once you can see the first container and have disposed of the annoying aliens walk in its direction you will see a large white pole behind it go to that pole. Once there, to your right is a rocky path down to the beach where you will find the Peg waiting for you.

--- Mission 6: Retaliation ---

Peg #21 – At the start continue forward and you will see the complex from the previous mission in front of you. You are suppose to go there but instead continue forward to the wall blocking you from the other areas of the previous mission you will find the Peg next to it.

Peg #22 – Once you go down into the bunker complex you will descend long stairs then turn a corner into a room full of enemies. As soon as you enter the room if you turn to your right the Peg will be in the corner.

Peg #23 – Once you blow up the door and get ambushed you will go forward into a bunker. You can go outside either left or right, you are suppose to go right but go left instead. Cross a small rusty bridge to a small platform with the Peg on it.

Peg #24 – You will have to defend your troops then you will get an objective to destroy a scrambler. Once you get to it instead turn to your left and head into the corner to find the Peg hidden there.

--- Mission 7: End Game ---

Peg #25 – Beginning the mission, move forward through some enemies until you see some ruins on your right hand side. Move into them and follow them to the right and backwards for a while leading back in the direction you came until you run into a dead end that will have the Peg at the end of it.

Peg #26 – After you disable the turret you will proceed until blocked by a Forcefield. You will be directed to go destroy its power source, once it is in sight look to the left to see a path down to the beach. Go down to the beach and follow it further down until you run into the next Peg.

Peg #27 – Right after the Alien Flagship appears you will be tasked with destroying it and it will show the Shield's percentage in the bottom right corner. Look forward as you go to see a large metal structure near the edge of the cliff you turn right after it. Then turn right again as soon as you can to find a Peg tucked in a corner.

Peg #28 – Once you reach the final area where you fight the Alien Flagship and the endless spawning aliens you will see 3 large metal structures by the enemies spawning. The middle one much larger than the other two has a small alcove in the back you can crawl into and find your final Peg.

*** In same the location of Peg #28 the final Peg is the perfect spot to collect many trophies you may have missed. Such as kills with weapons, ships sunk by your ships, kills by artillery support, kills while stunned by LRAD, recovered ships, ship control kills and fully upgraded ship. Since during the boss segment you will fight unlimited enemies and unlimited enemy ships you can easily acquire many of the trophies you missed in this location as long as you do not defeat the boss.

I went through the game and made sure that every collectible was correct but in case anyone finds an error for any reason please respond here to tell me. A simple short little collectibles guide but a surprisingly fun game the mix of strategy with ships and the fps combat was a great idea. Hopefully some trophy hunters use this guide on their path to a platinum. Happy Hunting!
