I recommend starting on easy mode, since there are several spots where the game scripting ambushes you this will help you in the next two playthroughs since you will be familiar with enemy locations and ambush spots. I will recommend you also try for the Rocketman trophy since enemies will be easier to kill. Step Two – Normal playthrough Next start a new campaign on normal difficult, it is not must harder than easy. I also recommend going for the Color Me Impressed trophy. Since you will know what to expect from the game and know where enemies appear you should be fine. Step Three – Hard playthrough Finally one last playthrough on hard, hard is not that hard I found it similar to a Call of Duty game on Regular. Just remember you have two playthroughs under your belt and know enemy locations well, use cover and move slowly. There is never any time limit so there is no need to rush. Bryc10
Trophy Guide http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/01.jpg Private Complete the game on Easy Difficulty This will be completed in step one of the trophy guide. Since difficulty trophies do not stack to unlock this you must start a new campaign on easy mode. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/02.jpg Kaboom Destroy the gas station Story related, cannot be missed. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/03.jpg Pool and Dive Survive the pool attack Story related, cannot be missed http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/04.jpg Droppin Bombs Call in the airstrike to defeat the Command Center Story related, cannot be missed. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/05.jpg Seen Your Video Watch an unlocked video You earn unlocks by completing the game on different difficulties. Completing the game on easy will unlock a video. At the main menu simply go to unlocks and then videos and watch one video. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/06.jpg Staff Sergeant Complete the game on Normal Difficulty This will be completed in step two of the trophy guide. Since difficulty trophies do not stack to unlock this you must start a new campaign on normal mode. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/07.jpg Long Range Kill 20 enemies with a sniper rifle You are given the option of picking up a sniper rifle at the start of the game. Pick it up and start shooting, simply keep using the sniper rifle until it pops. Also there is a section where you must cover an ally with a sniper rifle. As well sniper rifles are found throughout the game so this should be unlocked in the course of normal game play. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/08.jpg Color Me Impressed Complete a mission on Normal without dying, failing, restarting, or continuing campaign To unlock this you cannot die, or fail an objective (such as covering an ally) or restart a checkpoint or quit the game and try to continue later. I recommend trying this on the first mission since it is the easiest. There is also a sniper rifle at the start of the first mission, I recommend using the sniper rifle and keep your distance. Also attempt this after your easy playthrough so you will know the map and where enemies appear. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/09.jpg Hummer Kill 15 enemies on the HMV turret There are two sections where you must use and turret of a HMV to kill enemies. There are swarms of enemies at both sections, you should unlock this the first time you use a HMV which is at the start of the second mission. Walk up to the vehicle press to enter, then use to fire and to zoom in. Also the turret does not over heat, so just hold down and start mowing them down! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/10.jpg Rocketman Kill 2 aliens with one Rocket There are two sections in the game where you come across a rocket launcher these are the same two sections where must shot down an enemy aircraft. Once you have defeated the aircraft keep the rocket launcher , collect ammo for it and use it on enemy infantry, look for two enemies close together. While this is not glitched, it may be tricky to unlock, please see the below post on our sister site, xbox360achievements.org. Rocketman Not Unlocking? If you need some help with unlocking this trophy, the following video may help. The video is by RoosterTeeth not myself. Since difficulty trophies do not stack to unlock this you must start a new campaign on hard mode. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/951/12.jpg One Hundo Unlock all the unlockables Each difficult you complete the game on gives you unlocks, once you have completed the game on all three difficulties, you will have unlocked all items and earn this trophy. theDane21
Nice Short guide, the game is pretty easy but fun. It could have been nice if the difficulties stacked instead of having to do 3 playthroughs. I believe it took me an hour to complete it on Normal. Blaze Naruto Shippuden
your Trophy guide section needs to be separated from the roadmap. Just move it done in your reserved safety post.
Dangles
Do the difficulty trophies not stack? Also how long does the story mode take to beat.
Attack-Trik
Do the difficulty trophies not stack? Also how long does the story mode take to beat. Like Bryc mentions above, the trophies don't stack so you have to play through the game 3 times for 100%. But the campaign itself takes around an hour to beat, a little more on your first playthrough probably and then a bit less each time.

Thunder_At_Home
boderlands is extremely easy and fun at same time It's fun until you realize it's the same basic formula over and over again. The quests, the weapons, the locations, everything is the same thing over and over. So many repetitive maps, I could spot the interiors a mile away. The only thing that saved it for me was the final area towards the vault, it felt much more improved but it was only for a few hours.
