Introduction:

Brought to you by the makers of Guitar Hero, one of the best-selling video game franchises of all time, Band Hero features the hottest chart-topping hits from everyone's favorite bands including No Doubt, Nelly Furtado, Lily Allen, The All-American Rejects and Jackson 5. Headlined by some of the leading names in music as in-game artists and playable characters, including singer, songwriter and guitarist Taylor Swift and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, Band Hero is the ultimate party game where friends and family can choose to join the band or take five at any time without interrupting the performance, in Party Play mode. Band Hero allows fans to create the band of their dreams, using any combination of vocals and guitar or drum controllers, providing budding pop stars the chance to customize how they interact with and experience their favorite music.

Walkthrough:

Band Hero probably has the easiest Platinum in the Guitar Hero franchise. The 49 trophies are straightforward and the challenges can be obtained with help of online boosting partners or friends. Please proceed below for a step-by-step roadmap for the Platinum trophy.

Step 1: Tutorial and Create A Song trophies

The first thing I would recommend you to do is to complete the "Welcome to Band Hero" and "Studio Time" trophies. Simply go to GH Studios and create a song with a guitar or drum controller, save it to get "Studio Time" and complete all the tutorials using all four instruments to get "Welcome to Band Hero."

Step 2: Four player trophies

Next up, I would recommend that you find three partners using the boosting thread HERE or have three buddies over at your place and complete the four player trophies: "In The Moment", "A Cool Mill", "There's No 'I' in Band Hero", "Four of A Kind" and "Star Powered". Please proceed to the trophy guide below for further details.

Do take note that the above trophies can be obtained online or offline.

Step 3: Online trophies - Unobtainable

There are three trophies that need to be done online "M.C.", "Face to Face" and "Till Death Do Us Part" but only "M.C." needs a boosting partner or friend to be completed. For "Face to Face" and "Till Death Do Us Part", simply connect two microphones (can be drums or guitars) and search for online players, after a while it will stop searching and ask you to select a song. Simply complete a Deathmatch and 25 Pro Face-offs to get the two trophies.

Step 4: Career, Challenges and Secret Notes trophies

By completing every song in Career mode and completing 50 challenges on Platinum or Diamond, you will unlock all career and challenge related trophies including the Secret Note 1-19, secret characters, complete every song, 100% song as vocalist, unlock all venues, stars and challenges trophies. The most convenient way to complete every song on Career mode is to place a table fan in front of your Microphone and start a career on Beginner difficulty that will give you six stars on every song.

Do take note that to obtain Platinum or Diamond level on certain challenges, you may have to increase the difficulty in order to obtain sufficient points or hit sufficient notes in a streak to fulfill the requirements of these challenges.

Step 5: Mop up

If you have not obtained any of the above trophies in the initial run, now is the time to mop up. If you have, then you will realize that the only two trophies not mentioned so far are "Picture Perfect" which requires you to 100% a song on Medium difficulty or higher and "Star Light, Star Bright" which requires you to obtain 10,000 or more points on a single Star Power. I would recommend playing bass on Spice Girl's Wannabe for "Picture Perfect" trophy and David Bowie's Let's Dance or Maroon 5's She Will Be Loved for "Star Light, Star Bright".

Closing notes

If you have followed every step in the Road Map, you should have your Platinum trophy.

For more details on how to obtain the above-mentioned trophies, please proceed below to the Trophy Guide.

Earn all of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Trophies in Band Hero

UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Self explanatory. Unlock every other trophy to obtain the Platinum.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/02.jpgWelcome to Band Hero

(B) Complete all of the tutorials

From the Main Menu, proceed to Training and select Tutorials. Complete all Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums and Band Play tutorials to unlock this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/23.jpgStudio Time

(B)Create a GH Studio song

From the Main Menu, proceed to GH Studio and select GHMix 2.0 and create a song. You must have your drums or guitar set to Controller 1 and spam a few buttons. Save the song, exit and you should have this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/20.jpgIn The Moment

(B)Successfully complete a Band Moment

In a four player band, make sure every player hits the fiery notes to activate a Band moment. I recommend having four microphones in front of table fans on Beginner difficulty for a short song to get this trophy. If not, have four players play Bass on She Will Be Loved.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/22.jpgA Cool Mill

(B)Score over 1,000,000 points as a band in any single song in Career or Quickplay

This can be attained while aiming for "There's no 'I' in 'Band Hero." Have four players play Bass Expert on She Will Be Loved and you will easily get over 2,000,000 points by the end of the song.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/26.jpgThere's no 'I' in 'Band Hero

(B)Complete a song with 4 players without any members failing on expert in Career or Quickplay

This can be attained quickly by creating a really short custom song and have four drums or guitar controllers and play the song on Expert or you can do it with the proper and slightly longer way by playing an easy song on Expert such as She Will Be Loved on Bass Expert.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/27.jpgFour of a Kind

(B)Complete a song as 4 of the same instrument on any difficulty in Quickplay or Career

Either have four microphones in front of a table fan on Vocals-Beginner difficulty or find three friends and have everyone play a short song with the same instrument.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/28.jpg Star Powered (B)

Earn an 11x multiplier

Play a song on Easy in a four player band and have everyone maintain a streak to have a 4x multiplier, save star power until you reach a Band Moment (fiery notes) and activate Star Power then. You will have a 4x multiplier from your streak, 4x multiplier from Star Power and 3x multiplier from Band Moment.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/14.jpg M.C. (B)

Host an online Career game and play a song

UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Numerous users have had trouble finding random players online using Search so find someone who owns a copy of the game and Invite him and play a short song to unlock this trophy. To invite a person, go to Career, Friends and Invite.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/15.jpg Face to Face (B)

Complete 25 online Pro Face-Off matches, win or lose

UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

You will need an online connection for this trophy but you do not need to play with people online. If you have two of the same instruments, simply connect them to your Playstation 3, search for online players and select Pro Face-off mode. After a few seconds it will end the search and still allow you to select a song. Pick a short song, exit after the end of the song and repeat this step twenty-four more times for a quick trophy.

To see if you know what you are doing, try this on "Till Death Do Us Part" and see if you get that trophy using this method to avoid wasting time doing it wrongly.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/271/16.jpg Till Death Do Us Part (B)

Play an online Do or Die game

UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Connect two of the same instruments to your Playstation 3, search for online players and select Rockfest mode. After a few seconds it will end the search and still allow you to select a song. Pick a short song and vote for Do or Die mode. At the end of the song, you should get this trophy.

Note: I had to play through Rockfest a few times before I was able to select Do or Die due to the numerous online modes available under Rockfest, Do or Die did not appear under the voting section until my third or forth Rockfest game.

(G)Collect all of the Secret Notes

The 19 songs needed for all Secret Notes trophies in alphabetical order is below:

  • "Beautiful Soul" - Jesse McCartney
  • "Black Cat" - Janet Jackson
  • "Bring Me to Life" - Evanescence
  • "Dirty Little Secret" - The All-American Rejects
  • "Don't Speak" - No Doubt
  • "Honky Tonk Women" - The Rolling Stones
  • "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" - Marvin Gaye
  • "Kung Fu Fighting" - Carl Douglas
  • "Let's Dance"- David Bowie
  • "Like Whoa" - Aly & AJ
  • "Lips of an Angel" - Hinder
  • "Love is a Battlefield" - Pat Benatar
  • "Ocean Avenue" - Yellowcard
  • "Oh, Pretty Woman" - Roy Orbison
  • "She Will Be Loved" - Maroon 5
  • "So Yesterday" - Hilary Duff
  • "Take What You Take" - Lily Allen
  • "Wannabe" - Spice Girls
  • "Y.M.C.A." - Village People

The songs can be completed in either Quickplay or Career mode but to minimize your trouble and playing time, I would seriously recommend that you place a microphone in front of a table fan and let the game play by itself on these 19 songs in Career mode on Vocals-Beginner difficulty as I had to replay some of the songs since I did not unlock some secret notes even on 99% Bass Easy mode.

To unlock certain songs in Career mode, you will have to go get enough stars in each venue to unlock a new venue with new songs in it. For more information on how to progress through career mode, please read below.

- Can Rock Band 2 instruments be used on this game:YES

Step 1: Tutorial and Create A Song trophies

The first thing I would recommend you to do is to complete the "Welcome to Band Hero" and "Studio Time" trophies. Simply go to GH Studios and create a song with a guitar or drum controller, save it to get "Studio Time" and complete all the tutorials using all four instruments to get "Welcome to Band Hero."

You say here that Rock Band Instruments can be used on this game, is that stating that it can be used to complete the game or will the people playing have to have the Guitar Hero drums to complete the tutorials as well?

The trophy guide is spot on. I have the Rock Band drum kit, and I got the trophy for completing the tutorials. The last lesson of the tutorial is about the double kick pedal, and you can do it with one pedal - it just means your foot is doing the job of two feet.

I would have mentioned it if it couldn't be used. And I used the RB2 kit throughout this game and found no problem obtaining the trophies.

Can I obtain "Star Powered" trophy only with a mic and a guitar in Beginner level?

Nope you need 4 instruments.

Play a song on Easy in a four player band and have everyone mantain a streak to have a 4x multiplier, save star power until you reach a Band Moment (fiery notes) and activate Star Power then. You will have a 4x multiplier from your streak, 4x multiplier from Star Power and 3x multiplier from Band Moment.

Ok I got this plat with only having to play online once IIRC (hosting a career trophy)

My suggestion for the 11x:

If you have 2 mics and 2 drums, you can try doing what I did. Set the two mics infront of a fan or something that'll make noise that'lll register in them, and set them to beginner.

Set your drumkits to beginner as well, and sit them next to each other so you can hit one pad on each and be able to read the pads for star power with ease.

Sit the controllers for the mics under each of your feet so you can push them on for SP at the right time.

Play through until you get to a band moment and have SP on all 4 and actvate them to get it.

I suggest Wannabe's second band moment. During the band moment there is a nice gap on the drums to make it easier to put SP on without dropping notes or rushing too much.

I already did 25 Pro Faceoff matches, putting 2 microphones in front of the fan, but the trophy didn't came. Is it because the match is ending in draw, no one winning?

I did that without the fan, and got the trophy. Are you making sure to do it online and have it search each time?

With all respect, but the roadmap here is the worst I have read. Pretty much what its all to me is use a fan do beginner on vocal and let the songs play...that's all I see for almost every trophy...the roadmap is for people who don't play the game for fun or anything...just cheating purposes. My advice is yes keep the mic idea and fan...but put it below a paragraph explaining how to do it the real way without cheating like that.
