The difficulty can vary based on the decisions you make in your road map to the platinum. The difficulty is a 3 if you complete the story prior to earning Grand Battle Brawler, Reliable Battle Brawler & Mighty Battle Brawler. Completing the story automatically upgrades all 1 on 1, Tag Teams and Battle Royals to Hard difficulty.

The game is a strategy card game. You start off with three Battle Brawlers, three Gate Cards, and some Ability Cards. To win a round you have to win three matches before your opposition does. The goal is to land a Brawler on a card, use appropriate ability cards to raise the Battle Brawler's overall strength value. The Battle Brawler faces off against another player's Battle Brawler that lands on the same card. Strategy comes in when picking Ability Cards and skill comes within the match each round. You'll unlock different battle arenas along the way. Battle Arenas can present you with obstacles that could make you either lose strength or lose a turn.

Road Map:

1. Story

The story will present you with six tournaments to complete. Complete each tournament, and you will unlock each tournament trophy and the associated ranking trophies. Once you complete the Ultimate Battle Tournament, you will face off the final Darkus boss. If you loss to that boss you will have to complete the Ultimate Battle Tournament again.

Midway through the story you will want to go to the Park to earn the Grand Battle Brawler, Reliable Battle Brawler & Mighty Battle Brawler trophies, otherwise the difficulty will raise to Hard unlock the Bakugon King trophy. It won't hurt to complete the story first, but your grind for platinum will be more challenging.

2. Battle Arena Mode

At the completion of the story, each character is unlocked to play a, or to battle with. The characters will be available in the Park and Battle Arena Mode. Purchase three high ranking Bakugans for each style and upgrade them to rank 5 to unlock Special Shots. Make sure you also have Gate Cards and Ability cards that support your Bakugan type. Take the opportunity to get your Special Shot Trophies as you aim for the Through Their Eyes trophy.

3. Grind

The remaining trophies you'll have are the Master trophies. To grind these out, you'll want to go back to story mode and battle it out. You will not have enough credits to purchase all Bakugan Brawlers, Ability Cards and Gate Cards, from completion of the story alone. By the time you finish your Brawler and Master trophies, you should have enough credits to unlock Where Will I Put Them All?, Full Deck, and Loaded Deck.

I hope this Road Map was helpful to you. This isn't the only way to do it, but it may be the quickest.
